Clean place. Nice experience. They have tvs and a pool table to entertain you while you wait for the movie to start. Comfortable, plush seats with a cup holder and a wide arm rest to double as a snack table. Temperature in the room is just right. Audio is just right. Not deafening like other cinemas I’ve been to.
I’ve been coming here for years. VIP wasn’t the greatest. The chairs do not recline. Just a theatre. Nothing stood out to me until I took my kids here on Saturday at around 6pm. It was a busy weekend. When I went to buy my kids popcorn the service was wonderful. The server was a nice guy. Energetic and friendly. His excellent customer service stood out to me. He made my movie experience a good one. I made sure to buy another round of snacks so I could find out his name. His name is Derry. Great guy! Thank you!
Nice venue but the main attraction for me is that they have the IMAX screens which are bigger than standard with improved speakers and sound. So the entire experience is just that much better. Seats are comfy and when we went it wasn’t busy. They also have the VIP option to have drinks and food served at your seat which I have not tried yet. Plan to do that one day. Perhaps during a long movie. This is now my second favourite theatre outside of my local one mainly cause it’s further away for me.
I went here for the first time with my mentee to watch the “Little Mermaid - 3D” movie. It was an amazing experience over there and a good movie too. I enjoyed the movie as well as the environment. Good customer service. Thank you:)
I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the theater, I was blown away by the impeccable quality of the IMAX screen and the exceptional sound system. It truly made for an extraordinary cinematic experience.
One of the standout features of this cinema is the incredible sound. Every dialogue, background score, and sound effect was crystal clear and immersive. The attention to detail in the audio setup is commendable, and it truly enhanced my movie-watching experience. Whether it was a thrilling action sequence or a quiet dialogue-driven moment, the sound system delivered impeccably, bringing the film to life.
The screening itself was a treat for the senses. The picture quality on the IMAX screen was stunning, capturing every detail and delivering vibrant colors. The size of the screen ensured that every frame was larger than life, creating a sense of awe and wonder. It was a pleasure to witness the movie in such a visually stunning manner.
I also appreciated the overall ambiance and arrangement of the cinema. The seating was comfortable, and the layout allowed for an unobstructed view of the screen from every seat in the house. The theater was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and helpful, ensuring that the entire movie-going experience was smooth and enjoyable. Trust me; you won't be disappointed.

Best take away. The large popcorn was LARGE. We had to safe some for the next day. I don’t recall seeing anyone walking away with an empty box.
Overall very nice place. The lounge is a bit worn. There weren’t that many washroom stalls so we had to wait in line for a bit. The washrooms were a bit dirty.
The staff was very pleasant and I quite enjoyed the VIP experience. Would try again and would recommend.

I went here in the past for multiple regular movies. Today, I decided to try their VIP movie ticket. This review is mostly centered on the VIP side of things.
The VIP lounge is essentially a miniature sports bar. It opened on Tuesday around 5:45pm, which was 30 minutes before the first showtime that evening.
The VIP lounge is advertised as a place everyone can go to eat, relax and get a drink. You don't even need a ticket to get in!
I estimate the lounge can sit around 40 people. The sports bar analogy is in full effect with multiple TV monitors, a billiards table, and the culinary offerings.
At the lounge, I ordered the fish tacos (picture attached), which were 3 for 15 dollars (with tax) as part of the Taco Tuesday special. I genuinely thought it was restaurant-quality. The sauce was really good and it wasn't too fishy.
The environment was clean and beautiful. The lounge staff seemed a bit low (one waitress, and two bartenders). Most of the staff are assigned to delivering the food to the theatres rather than working with the customers in the lounge. The worker disparity did not affect anything; I still got my order at my table within 5 minutes. The waitress who took my order was an absolute gem of a person who helped me choose an item and he engaged in some light conversation. I just wanted to note down the worker disparity for customers that may come on busier days.
I have attached their food menu because the Cineplex app does an injustice to the amount of items on offer.
I definitely can see the appeal of coming to the VIP Lounge without a movie ticket. I personally would recommend coming for a Tuesday (15 dollar for 3 Taco Tuesday special, cheaper movie tickets) or Wednesday
(45 dollar Date night special, see attached menu).
Now I will transition to talking about the rest of the "VIP" experience.
-The theatre chairs are similar to Landmark Cinemas (couch chairs with leg space)
-No children!
-Overpriced (but GOOD) popcorn: large butter layered popcorn with water costed as much the tacos
-Anything you order is delivered to your seat up to 10 minutes into the movie
-Nothing special about the movie's quality itself (VIP can't be combined with DBOX, 3D etc)
Overall I would rate the whole experience a 4/5. The bar and the lounge was really good! Great customer service, great food, and great amenities in such a small place. The rest of the VIP experience falls short especially compared to the competition, Landmark Cinemas. What Cineplex considers a VIP treatment, Landmark considers a necessity. Landmark has cheaper tickets with better seats.
