The mashroom on the pine trees are edible but the one with the dark purple that I split in half is poisonous...
American beautyberries are also edible but not recommended to eat a lot...

Cool, easy trails to hike without having to drive super far. Can be a little populated in the afternoon but mornings are pretty nice.
This place is or was great. They have blocked access to the natural ponds here unless you know how to get around you will not be able to enjoy this little gem. I love it in here. The main pond is a natural warm spring that they do not tell you about after they destroy all the beauty that once was. What a shame!
I took my 3 kids here. Was a lot of fun exploring the trails. We plan on bringing our pup with us next time. It was beautiful but the only thing bad was the "shacks' look creepy and run down.
Trails are easy to walk. Very shaded. Easy for young kids. My daughter, almost 6, was easily able to walk the trails. Saw a beautiful bird too.
This is the first time I come to this preserve part and when I first got there I was like but once I walked in I loved it I only had like a 15 minute walk and I like what I saw the only reason why I couldn't do the whole trail was because the mosquitoes were like from the zombies in The walking Dead every time I look back there's houses in them behind me but I will definitely go back to experience the whole part because it looks very beautiful with a little bit that I saw please check out my pictures and follow me too for more adventures and me getting lost in the woods.
