Mohammed, the person managing scubatec is simply put one of the best people I’ve met in my diving career. I’ve bought ALL my dive gear from him. Always gotten the best price, and they’re always a text away if I ever need anything. Also, super chill and always accommodating my needs.
I think the website over promises and the shop under delivers. Seems like fantastic selection and I was keen on sharkskin LS top. I sent a contact last night to enquire whether the item on the website is in stock...nothing...justbthe sounds of crickets. I then drove to the shop and the selection is very small and it certainly didn't have the sharkskin wetsuit available. The employee definatelynwasntbandiver and his into was pretty weak.. Altogether a waste of time

I have been shopping for dive gear all over UAE for the past 7-8 years, have met all kind of pushy sales men, to freelance pseudo distributors to dive shop owners. But never have I come across, an owner/manager who puts customer interest before profits like Mohammed.

I think this is one of the most reasonable and friendly places for SCUBA gear in Dubai. They have a wide variety of products from the widest variety of brands i've seen in any store in Dubai (all other shops seem to focus on just one or two). Their prices are very reasonable. And Mohamed who is managing the shop is super friendly and helpful with recommendations and advice!
