Imagine taking your dog to a dog park in Westland of all places and finding a group of people being lead by Celia of the show weeds. Save yourself the trouble you and your dog are not welcome here unless you’re part of the “in crowd” of the Westland dog park elite dog park owners association of Westland. Lol. sure, you can pay your fees and come in. But you’re going to have to deal with Celia and her drones. “Or you can use the other park down there “ oof.

Nice FREE fenced in area, bowls for water. 2 yards for playtime. Have met very nice dog owners as well.

First dog park ever for us. Have 7 month old Rottweiler. Was great people there were friendly and helpful. Bring water since is none available there. Suggest bring enough to share. Will definitely be returning. Probably weekly. This is in the back so follow road around to back then cross short foot bridge to dog park area. There's a smaller small dog area as well a large dog area right next to each other.

Old Hines Dog Park is lovely. Tucked into the roadside this spot for your ‘best friend’ is fenced in offers a water pump for refreshments, seating and shade. There is plenty of space to enjoy for your pup, plenty of available parking and it sits adjacent to some excellent trails. Bring your dogs and check it out! Give the review a ljke please :-)

Awesome park for dogs! No need for a permit at the old dog park in the back

Love the people there. I avoid the new park nearby as some people treat it as if it's an exclusive country club. I try to take my dog at least once a week. My only concern used to be the old fence and muddy areas, but i see now that the county is working on that and installing new fencing and improving the grounds. I would definitely recommend this park for well behaved dogs and dog owners alike.
