My 12 weeks with Gautier was time well spent. Gautier create lessons that were perfectly custom to my interests and language needs.

"Gautier has been my French tutor for almost a couple of years now-helping me progress from resurrecting a decades-ago high school French to a solid intermediate level. During this time, I had been frustrated with the standard class and textbook format because I never got to actually attempt to communicate in French. Instead, Gautier and I meet one-on-one, often in an outside cafe downtown, and speak French.

Always encouraging and kind, he is creative with the use of language-acquisition resources: workbooks, French news broadcasts and music, movies and videos, magazines and novels, as well as creative assignments structured to my needs and interests. There is great travel and cultural advice of course (I'm looking forward to an upcoming road trip in France), but even more helpful has been his working with me to prepare a medical lecture en francais to be given at a hospital in Haiti. Learning a language is a long-term and continuing process--but I'm doing it with a formidable tutor!"

Gautier started tutoring me in French only a few months ago. My French language skills have improved perhaps three fold in that time, due in large part to his skill as a language instructor.
