This was a great museum, many artifacts, including mummies, sea creatures, rocks, flora and fauna. About 25 audio tours in quite a few languages, 2 to 3hrs gives you plenty of time to take it all in, highly recommended

A fascinating trip through pre-history and archaeology, plus natural history of the Canary Islands. We found it quiet.
The signage is in Spanish, so we used Google Translate, but you could ask for a guide in English. We forgot to do that.

Musée avec une offre pas forcément passionnante mais acceptable compte tenu du prix libre.
Quelques petites scénographies intéressantes et beaucoup de photos aux couleurs passées.
La section des crânes et momies vaut un peu plus le détour.

Decent museum it’s suited towards older children. The white room was my favourite exhibit

A lot of the exhibitions are made up of pictures, so don't expect a lot of stuffed animals. The collection on Canary artifacts, including bodies and body parts of indigenous people are stunning, quite literally.

The museum's biggest attraction is the Guancs mummies, worth a visit. Otherwise, all exhibits are well organized and modern. The entrance fee is €5.

A lovely, well maintained museum with both natural and archeological exhibits that is a very reasonable €5 for adults. All exhibits are in Spanish. There is a free online audio tour in English but it omits most of the museum and causes you to spent the tour with your phone speaker in your ear so you do not bother the other visitors. I visited in Feb and the cafeteria was closed as were portions of the museum. There is a lovely garden in the middle and the staff are very helpful. I bought a seashell jazz t-shirt, not sure what it had to do with the museum but it was cute.
