Cute bridge beautiful pictures on a sunny day.
What a lovely place!
Great shortcut to get from one side of the river between Teddington to Kingston, rather go all the way down to the main bridge and then cross. If you come during sunrise in summer it's a beautiful view of the lock. Even though you don't get close to the lock you can still see it from a distance.

A short walk down the footpath from Ham and to the bridge. A very busy crossing, and it feels very safe too. It's so nice to see the gentle ripples across the water, the boats, and the green backdrop. On the opposite (Teddington) side of the river there's benches to sit and enjoy the views. The first part of the bridge isn't aesthetic with cage like sides but the second section offers these enjoyable views.
Quick way to get to Ham from Teddington via the two footbridges. The one from Ferry Road Teddington is a suspension bridge. The second a fixed span steel bridge over the lock cut. Only for use by pedestrians or cyclists (who must dismount and push bikes across). The crossing here avoids having to cross at either Kingston Bridge upstream or Richmond Bridge downstream both with heavy vehicle traffic.

Nice area. Clean. People sit on the bank by the river and lock. Great walk or cycle into either Ham or Kingston. Popular with cyclists. There is a nice bike track near by for teenagers and two great pubs near by which sell excellent food. My favourite coffee is sold by a small vendor at the back of the fishing tackle shop (Teddington side).
