I had a chance of having this overrated Turkish Desert at SCM mall I paid almost 800 for 6 pcs of deserts and the taste was below average. I wish I had bought Kaju katli worth 200 which would have fulfilled my sweet cravings than this Turkish.....t anyway never buying again TBH even a good jalebi is better than this Turkish.....t

This is a gourmet Turkish sweets outlet on the ground floor of Sarath city mall in the food court. There is no seating for the store's customers but you can use the food court seats. They have self service so you have to take your order from the counter.
We tried a slice of Blueberry Kunafa. It cost us 380Rs. Compared to other gourmet bakery shops like Labonel, Harley's and Concu, the prices are not higher than market average. But it seems too expensive seeing how this is just a small outlet and not a proper restaurant or shop, so ambience does take a hit here.
We liked the taste of Blueberry Kunafa. The sweet was quite heavy but the blueberry balanced it out perfectly. Surprisingly we were able to finish it in one go. The ingredients tasted fresh and of high quality.
At the price we paid for it, I would have preferred to sit at proper tables and enjoy it better.

This is the best example for looking could be deceiving....As a foodie I wanted to try the delicate and have ordered the younani baklava as it looked very interesting..To our surprise it not only tasted horrible but was definitely old. My friend and I had itching in throat and mouth for a couple of hours. Since I was in a hurry and had it on the go, i couldn't go back and raise the issue with the outlet. Better avoid going to the store.

It's a Decent place for Baklava! But it's VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE! It's only worth it to for a trial. I believe that's how it is for everyone. They can't retain any customer considering the price and the taste being Ordinary. Bought a box of Gourmet Delight and that's decently good compared to the Kunafa & Baklava.

As this outlet is inside the mall it is very rush
And no proper place to sit due to heavy crowd on weekends...
Coming to The food, Freshly Baked hot Kunafa is served 🤤❤️

We tried kunafa here. It casted Rs. 300. We did not like it. The amount of sevai was less and it was not that creamy. They poured hot sugar syrup on top of it, that also was not going good with the kunafa.

The place is without any seating arrangement. It's right beside the food court on the ground floor. The only thing I liked was the cheese kunafa. The other one called pista baklava was too sweet. It was like a unique combination of puff/khova/pista and sugar syrup. It was yummy for the 1st bite and then you need something salty to balance out the extra sweetness. The semolina sweet was just okay. Overall okay if you want to try Turkish desserts 🤷🏻♀️ There's nothing to compare it with except our very own Indian sweets and the other continental desserts. Slightly on the expensive side.
