Alandur Metro Station

Both green and blue lines connect at Alandur Metro. Has huge car parking space which is recently renovated. Parking costs 30 for 5 hours. Located next to Kathipara flyover.

One of the biggest metro stations in the two line metro connectivity existing currently in Chennai. Multiple floors here serves the purpose of switching between the two metro lines and the ground floor serves as an easy last minute connectivity option.
Bus stop and cycle options do exist here for the same.

Some food cafes exist on the ground floor including Adyar Anand bhavan, Chai kings, etc.

Arignar Anna Alandur Metro, commonly known as the Alandur Metro, is an elevated metro station that is part of the Blue Line and the Green Line of the Chennai Metro, and serves as an interchange station between the two lines. The station is one of the two metro stations where the two lines intersect, the other being the Chennai Central metro station. It is the city's first multi-level railway station.[2] It is the only station where passengers from the two corridors can swap the direction of travel.
Blue lines goes to puratchi thalaivar MGR central via Ashok nagar, CMBT ,Anna nagar kilapauk and Egmore .
And Green line goes to Wimco nagar metro via Guindy , Saidapet, Thenampet, Government estate,central , washermanpet ,till gate.

This is the junction for metro stations... It's very clean and neat... Busstop is also a few steps away from the entrance... For last mile connection we have cycle and electric Scooters available here... We have some shopes as well to bite... Huge car parking is also available.... All buses towards Tambaram from CMBT will stop here and go ...

Shanker Nethralaya at Alandur is a very well maintained Eye Hospital at Alandur,Chennai.Wards are clean and Doctors and other staff are not biased whether the patients are payers or freely treated economically weak.
