Beautiful rocky beach to spend a chill afternoon

I learned how to dive at Whytecliff Park with the aid of instructor Stephanie Cimbala. And I am still learning. If it wasn't for her I don't think I would be diving as I do now. I'm still very much learning the ropes which has me appreciating her patience and encouragement all the more. I adore her enthusiasm for and commitment to the diving community.
Also: Her demeanour and diving ethic is in stark contrast to what I encountered initially at the Diving Locker, which was rushed and withdrawn. Stephanie encourages constant communication and slowness and play. She wants you to keep diving! All you would want in a diving instructor and diving comrade.

Sat morning 9am, around 10 divers are gathered and help each other to prepare to dive. Very friendly vibe. You can also find people play kayaking. Someone take photos for sea mammals, someone just walk their dogs. It’s also a nice place to picnic.
