Loved this hike. Was better then I had originally thought. Cause I was thinking it was going to be tough, very steep and energy draining. It was Great.

Great little day hike, well marked trail, with some old growth trees on the way and fresh stream water falls. Growing up and having the north shore as our background was an absolute blessing and the forest was endless entertainment. 20 years later revisiting I naively now noticed all the fallen giants, the remaining bases of these magnificent 1000 year old trees just decimated. I’m going to donate a portion of my jewelry sales to reforestation programs and start one myself. Take away: Get out in nature and spawn good ideas!

Amazing little lake with a beautiful trail! Not crowded :)

More like lost trail 😁. Loads of snow. Bring snow shoes.

Lost Lake is smaller than neighboring Blue Gentian Lake but still quite nice.

The hike in is not too far but steady incline from the residential area trailhead. Needless to say, the hike back is much easier.

The lake is still frozen with snow all around in April and maybe later.

Absolutely beautiful, went here a few weeks ago, lovely walk that can be extended to further trails or just around the lake.
There is a cafe but it wasn’t open at this time of year. Only 1/3 toilets open. Very cute area called proposal corner but other areas are prettier.
