Casa Lola Strachan

Too hyped, waited 2 days on a booking and it was very disappointing, too busy pulling in the revuew persuing crowds , us included ! and average food. Grim risotto. There is a much better smaller establishment further along towards Calle Larios.
Staff were great.

Patatas bravas may be the best ones we ate in Málaga! Potatoes cooked to perfection and the sauce was super delicious. Everything we had for lunch was incredibly tasty, and the service was really fast. The staff was so nice and pleasant.
We were lucky enough to get a table in a first try, however, I would only recommend if going there for a meal on weekends to reserve a table in advance, because there is a line of waiting for people to enter. But it is worth the wait!

Didn’t leave me wow’ing, but the place worked perfectly for a lunch bite of tapas with a glass of cava. For me it’s more a lunch place if you choose wisely from a wide menu. Particularly I enjoyed the variety of croquettes.
Be sure to come close to opening hours or book as it fills up pretty fast.
Service was friendly and quick.
Casa Lola seemed to have 2 spots not far from each other.

Unfortunately this place did t work out for us… terrible patatas brava, if it wasn’t for the sauce, we wouldn’t be able to eat it… lamb and chicken tapas were flavorless… Russian salad… not sure who made that up, has nothing to do with a Russian salad (olivie) … sardines in vinegar were ok, so thats why 2 stars.
The bathroom was also quite dirty which made me wanting to leave before we even ordered food.
There are definitely much better places out their to eat.

I fell in love with the food, and stuff is also kind and very organized.

Alle we’ve wanted was a snack for lunchtime … what we’ve got was a perfect lunch in tapas style. We have had Permentos di Patron, some of the marvelous tomatoes, some scampis and finally a can with buttered anchovies… they melt on the tongue. The service was really nice and quick and cool and read all our wishes in our eyes … the only negative point was or was not if you don’t care … it was really extremely loud… but so is life! Thank you guys!
