Poor service tonight, just appalling, laughed at ones poor German amongst other things. The arrogance of the woman should be addressed immediately.

When in Switzerland drink Swiss wines! This is your go-to shop. Forget the Co-op…you’ll be regretting your wine purchases there when you see Baur au Lac Vins! Very good selection of Swiss wine - red and white, all price points and grape varietals native to Switzerland! So delighted to have discovered the shop passing through on the way to the mountains. Not to fear they sell wine from other known wine regions in the EU - specifically the neighbours.
Snooty or racist? We were not sure! Needless to say, never again! A shame as the staff at Mannedorf and Talstrasse have always been lovely, helpful and friendly.
Very friendly staff. English ok. Few but rare to find gin brands from Zurich and Germany. It’s on B2 level (same as Sephora).
I bought 4 wines here and we had a tasting with 5 people one of which a sommelier. The wines tasted terrible and may have been stored improperly. Past it's prime, not yet vinegar, but certainly on its way. Last time I buy wine at a train station.
Edit: The owners offered for me to bring in the wine, but I had already dumped it as there was no reason to keep around bad wine. Appreciate the offer. I'd still be weary.
