Ponte Vecchio

Ponte Vecchio is an absolute must if you’re visiting Bath. The food, atmosphere, and service are excellent, definitely the best meal of our trip so far.

The restaurant is very hard to see from the Bridge, however it is absolutely worth the walk down to the water.

We ordered the Tortello Di Parmigiana and Tagiolini Al Nero pastas, cocktails and the Cannolo Cheesecake. I added guanciale to the tortello and it was perfect, personally I think the should be the default.

Tip for the restaurant: Add more string lights to the roof and the two large trees out in front, I believe this will make it easier for pedestrians to see the restaurant from the bridge.

A true Italian restaurant, everything coming out of the kitchen was absolutely delicious and the location is very classy and scenic. The owner and all the waiters were super friendly, it's a must visit for everyone in Bath. Ps: The vongole spaghetti was exactly like the one back home in Naples, the only restaurant in uk that managed to achive that!

On a rare night out, my husband and I visited here and we were not disappointed. Fantastic food and friendly and welcoming servers. The pudding was one of the best I have tasted. Definitely pop by if you’re in the area.

Wonderful experience here. We loved our meals. The calamari was perfect, not oily. My husband said his seafood carbonara is one of the best he’s had in his life! Service was excellent👏🏾

We recently been to Rome, so wanted to try this place.. excellent atmosphere, excellent food, excellent waiters/waitresses.. tasted amazing, due to go there soon. The seafood risotto was out of this world..top marks..jer

Out of this world friendly service in a delightful upstairs restaurant with terrace, all tastefully decorated in a modern Naples style. The food was absolutely delicious - probably the best mussels I’ve had ever! Fresh, perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce. The pastas were all al dente with just the right amount of sauce to coat it.

We will definitely be coming back!

We spent a full week in Bath eating out every night and this was one of the best restaurants. Although it was exceptionally busy with a wedding party it did not distract from the flavoursome food and professional service. The starter of a meat and cheese selection with grilled veg was lovely and our pasta dishes were of a high quality. The location is very good, right next to Pulteney Bridge and the river.
