Two stalls side by side, selling same stuff, with the other one longer queue, but I have to say Chun Fu portion seems bigger, look better, taste wise...to be seen/taste after trying.
Anyways, went for Chun Fu as queue shorter. While queuing, you can see from others as Chun Fu uses bowl with a larger base while the other stall uses a shallower bowl, thus, can say, Chun Fu portion seems bigger.

A dilemma occur while deciding what to eat, fishball noodles, laksa or chicken curry noodles as many Google reviews, food bloggers have their preference etc., and ultimately will have to try all. In the end, decided to go for Laksa while seeing someone bought Laksa from next door.

The laksa at Chun Fu is not bad, quite tasty but not super WOW, but still wow. The laksa broth is quite rich and thick, slight charcoal taste though not boiled in charcoal I assume (unlike Sungei Road Laksa which was boiled in charcoal and very strong tasty broth), hence I would give Chun Fu laksa broth at 4 out of 5. Tua pak and fish cake are good company to the laksa and portion is also good. Only small 'complain' was the cockles very little (like 5) and very very small, otherwise very fresh...guess..give and take..

Will recommend and come back again to try its' fishball noodles and chicken curry noodles.

One of the few BCM here in Kovan 209. More and more stalls I noticed are starting to use this type of mee kia (see photo), which feels like sek mee but cut thinly to be mee kia like. Not nice. The “correct” noodle to use should come lightly coated with powdered flour after mixing the flour and egg (before cooking). And served QQ (al dente). This type of noodle will always be soft. The ratio of flour and egg is wrong. Sad. When trying a new stall next time, I will look out for the type of mee kia they use prior. Dunno about mee pok. On the whole, can eat to satisfy craving-crisis but won’t seek it out. Soup stood out for me. Everything else, meh.

It is an interesting experience trying two different Bak Chor Mee, or minced meat noodle, this stall and the one beside. Compared to the stall beside selling the same dish, the style here is more clean-cut and less savoury but still has that richness in flavour. There is no pork liver, but instead pork balls. Each had their own merits in my view and both are enjoyable.

Having tried 3 of the most popular bak chor mee stalls in this hawker centre, I conclude I like the one @ Chun Fu best! Portion is generous, noodle texture is crunchy unlike the other 2 stalls which has became nua by the time I reach my table. I usually would order 1 for take away 1 for dine in, the stall lady would offer to prep the takeaway one later after I finish my meal 👍🏻 Another personal bias: I support fellow teochew. Ho jiak!

Saw many people eating Laksa and decided to give it a try, taste is above average but still can be improved, gravy is thick enough and come with fish cake, portion is also big enough
Will come again

I always eat the curry chicken noodles from this stall and add cockles. In my opinion, this stall has the best curry chicken / laksa out of the three stalls at the hawker centre. The curry is thick and tasty and elevates the rest of the dish.
