A beautiful place where you can get to know the Roman part of Verona's history better. It can be a bit physically challenging for some, since you need to climb some stairs (there's an elevator also though) to reach the museum above the Roman theatre, but it's do worth it! The museum itself is located in s former convent which gives it even more of a magical effect. I visited in the late afternoon, there was no queue.

The Museum is much bigger than I had expected. Definitely worth visiting - especially on the first Sunday of each off-season month when tickets are reduced to 1€ per person. Views from the top over the city centre are spectacular. Book in advance.

Such a well curated museum with lots of information. It’s definitely one of my favorite museums in Verona.

Small museum with lots of fine glass work, some pottery, mini bronzes, mosaics and marble statues overlooking Roman theatre overlooking the river. Well kept and very friendly and helpful staff. The best that Verona offers by far, lightyears better than the fake balcony and relatively common arena. The theatre offers currently a nice ballet-circus like performance of Alice in Wonderland which combines styles to attract all ages.

This is an interesting museum dedicated to the Roman heritage of Verona. It's located in the ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheatre. Apart from the interesting exhibits and illuminating descriptions of the artefacts, the museum offers unique views of the skyline of Verona. It is certainly worth a visit when you are in town
