This is our second visit here and definitely worth the trip. Everything is soooo beautiful šŸ˜. Spent roughly 2 hours walking around with friends and taking in the beauty of the gardens as everything is in full bloom right now. Lots of parking with reasonable entry prices. Caretakers do a wonderful job and the staff is super friendly! Probably come here again when in town for business. Enjoy šŸ˜‰

I enjoyed the garden so much I upgrade my single ticket to a membership. I feel like the host should have mentioned that a multiple use parking pass is also available the gift shop. Parking is $3 per hour. With the pass its $5 per day it for 6 uses, plus $6 to load the card initially. Its even cheaper if buy a pass for 11+ uses.

I was in absolute awe at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens Garden Lights Holiday Nights. If youā€™re in Atlanta for the holidays, you NEED to experience this.

You need to book tickets in advance from their website, and they will sell out. I recommend going at 5pm so that you can see the plants with a little daylight, and then do a second lap after it gets dark. Dress warmly and bring gloves if your hands get cold because the majority of the event experience is outdoors.

The four displays recommend seeing twice include the Natureā€™s Wonders Canopy Walk, Infiniti Christmas Tree Fountain, Radiant Rainforest, and Tunnel of Light.

They have a few different bars, and one thing you absolutely need to try is the Ghirardelli hot chocolate, $6. If youā€™re over the age of 21, then I strongly recommend the peanut butter whiskey spiked hot cocoa, 12oz for $12. It was a great flavor combination for anyone who enjoys Reeseā€™s.

Parking is $10, although the Uber drop off is right by the front entrance and more convenient, especially if you plan on having spiked cocoa.

Probably one of the most beautiful Botanical Gardens in america. The model train set up for the holidays is awesome and should probably be kept up through the winter.

Excellent place for a gathering or a wedding rehearsal dinner. Night time lights are gorgeous even if it's too dark to see the flowers.

Go see the orchids

Walk to the gardens through Piedmont Park and try to identify these birds that look like a cross between a duck and a chicken. I have no idea what they are but they climb trees.

So, we cleared our calendar, planned our trip, braved the weather and drove 2 hours to visit the Botanical Gardens and view the blown glass display which was HIGHLY touted and advertised to be up until October 31st ....only to find 90% of the pieces had been dismantled and packed away. How disappointing. We didn't drive 100 miles to see scarecrows.
Bad move Atlanta Botanical Gardens. And false advertisement. This was our first time to visit here. We'll think twice before we return.
