IPIC Theaters

I was very disappointed with my experience at the IPIC theater in Bethesda Maryland today. My recliner seat didn't work and although we were there 30 minutes early ( prior to the start of the movie) so we could get our food and drink order in, before the movie started, our order wasn't taken until 15 minutes into the movie. I paid too much money and traveled too far to have an experience like that. I won't be back to that theater again. The Regal theater in Dulles town center would have been better.

I have hardly ever had a bad experience at IPic. Food and drinks are restaurant quality. It’s like doing out to dinner with a movie on the side.

I thought the seats were pricey especially for the reclining seats. Although the theatre is nice, it is pricey especially when you consider the restaurant that is attached to it where the taste of the food is adequate.

I will continue to go to the AMC Theatre in Georgetown and eat at Tony & Joe's afterward and gaze at the Potomac River, the Kennedy Center and Roslyn, Virginia.

This theater used to be amazing - not so much anymore.

Service is still OK, staff was helpful, but the state facilities are abhorrent. At the beginning of our visit, the bathrooms weren't great - by the end of our movie, they were down right disgusting - most stalls couldn't be used, no toilet tissue, and the floor was really sticky - I don't even want to think about what was causing that🤢. The quality of the food has gone down, and they no longer offer the complimentary popcorn.

For the price you pay for a ticket, this experience should have been so much better. The only benefit is the reclining chairs which are now in many other theaters, so we'll be taking our business closer to home instead of traveling to get here.

I have a movie subscription to a competitor and will continue going there from this point on. I went on a Tuesday night, but apparently they were busy. I arrived about 30 minutes early, 10 minutes earlier than they recommend. I paid extra for dinner and a movie, took my seat and pressed the button as instructed. No one came. I went to the staff and was told someone would come. I watched as multiple servers came in, took other people's orders and left. I flagged down one server who said he'd go and find "my server" only for him to return approximately 20 minutes later, take the order of the 3 people next to me (who arrived after the film had started), and ignore me. I figured he was busy so I went to a server outside of the theater to place an order. She told me she was busy and to wait. . .although I was already missing parts of the film by standing there. Turns out she was a manager. So I went to another manager and requested a refund. I'm a frequent movie goer (at least 2 per month) and have never walked out of a film until today. I understand being busy. I don't understand why people who arrived 30 minutes after me were served first? Maybe the orders are placed by row and not by who request service first? If so, that is understandable, but I wish someone would have told me. Overall I'm not angry, but a bit disappointed. The staff seemed polite and friendly for the most part. Maybe the Standard experience is better than the deluxe. Unfortunately, I won't have a chance to find out, I'm in town for a limited time and already wasted one of my three nights. Sorry for the long read.

The theater was clean upon arrival they give you the option for a blanket at the ticket counter. The drinks at the bar are 80% alcohol. The service was fast were ordered nachos that look like sitting for 30 minutes before they got to our table. Overall the experience here was ok

IPIC Theaters is great! I have visited this location twice, I will no longer be able to return to the "regular" movie theaters.

After visiting this location twice, the customer service has been great and consistent, the food and wine was also great both times. The bathrooms are clean, sleek and spacious.

This is definitely a great place to bring a date, wine and a movie ? The best. The theater is also children and family friendly, and they do offer a kids menu etc.
