Museum is good but the wax statues there are extra ordinary. Just on a walk from major attractions in Antalya

This small museum is located in the historical context of Antalya near the Republic Square. Access to this place is easy and it is located next to the main street. There is no need to buy a ticket to enter this museum and visiting the museum is free. Only when you enter this place, you should take off your shoes and put them in the shoe rack! In this museum, you can access the tools and books used by the students of Rumi's Tariqat.

Amazing small place to visit. Definitely recommended. A 13th century mosque nearby. When going to the mosque no shorts or revealing clothes as you won’t be allowed inside.

Wonderful historical place, definitely worth seeing! Additionally I wanted to share our experience of today's visit. Some young man approached us near the entrance of the museum and called us to go with him inside. Quickly - quickly he showed building complex (approx.in 5 minutes) and insisted 20 Eur per personal guidance. All my respect to this cultural treasure, but we were shocked, because we did not even asked him for personal guidance, there were not information regarding buying tickets and personal tours. I would give donation for this museum, but it could be happen more suitable way, not somehow in the quit corner of territory. When I offered to call the police, he wished a good day and left. Dissapointed about that :(

It is wonderful to preserve historical places as they are in old Antalya, and this is a distinctive model. A simple but amazing museum with its diverse content has been made.

A wonderful new museum right at the centre of the city, opened recently after massive reconstruction. Entrance is still free of charge. Once there was a dervish school there and the exposition explains much about this unique oriental phenomenon.
