I needed an order pickup for work and online said it would take 1 hour. I arrived 30-40 minutes early and Michael was generous enough to expedite the offer.

Michael was very understanding, well spoken and provided professional service.

Overall experience at the store was only fine, but I’m leaving review to report that Curtis is the man. I bought a TV that didn’t work and brought it back to return it. Curtis went above and beyond to help me find a replacement TV for it. He was super knowledgeable and helpful. Promote this man!

Place is fine. But the looks like it needs restocking. Items are also all over the place. Not much options for tv mounting either. Otherwise, good customer service. Was able to get what I wanted and the customer service representative was polite. Just know that parking can be pretty difficult and you usually have to pay. Whether it be for a minute or an hour. It’s a fully automated underground garage.

Walked in and saw a bunch of kids playing games on the phones and a lady working on her laptop for hours. Literally didn't feel like a Best Buy.
The staff were scarce but still helpful and there was a good selection of products.
No complaints.

Martin was exceptional. I was randomly looking for laptops, not interested in buying one. He approached me and I asked him about two of my old favorite brands which were Sony and Toshiba. Martin proceeded to answer all my questions pertaining to using certain equiment outside of the country. He is smart, knowledgeable, friendly and patient as he was juggling many lines. I went away and return to look for Martin. He sold me exactly what I needed and when I return to Best Buy, I will ask for Martin. Thank you!!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Best Buy recently, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

What truly set this Best Buy visit apart was the exceptional customer service I received. The sales associate who assisted me was extremely knowledgeable about the products I was interested in and took the time to thoroughly explain their features and benefits. He was patient, friendly, and genuinely invested in helping me make the best decision for my needs.

The cashier was prompt and courteous, making sure to answer any last-minute questions I had about my purchase. I appreciated the attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction throughout my entire shopping experience at Best Buy.

Overall, I left Best Buy feeling satisfied and confident, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. I will definitely be returning to this store for any future electronics or tech-related needs. Thank you, Best Buy, for setting a high standard of customer service excellence!
This place is a complete scam. The person that is in charge stated that he doesn’t take returns unless it’s broken or doesn’t work. He says no companies or businesses take returns anymore which is completely idiotic to even say. He didn’t offer any type of credit, which I would’ve taken. Do not purchase from here, especially if you find the same other products that are cost friendly.
Friendly and knowledgeable. Their help eased my fear of knowing what to do with my 2009 MacBook Pro. He fixed it up and sold me a new charger and hard drive. It’s best to call first because they’ll let you know what time to come in, etc. Has a hometown feel. Highly recommend.

Look, this is *mostly* an Apple Store now (and a good one with free photography classes, etc.), but it is still a museum and it has a few very good exhibits. My favorite is a large picture in the basement of the immediate area from a plane in 1991 or so. The entire area then was a series of parking lots and crumbly buildings. How far it has come!

The history of this building is just something fabulous. It's crazy that just three months ago, I found out it was an Apple Store. Definitely took me by surprise. I remember the remodeling. I remember the reconstruction I remembered the refacing of this building. This place is a historical landscape. I am so glad that they put it in the hands of a company that will definitely take care of it.. You can not let our history completely die or tear it down. There is a small visitor center Upstair. I've been to the carnegie museum in Pittsburgh
As a child was definitely an experience. You guys have any Time to visit any his places highly suggeste

No one ever answers the phone or responds to emails at this bookstore, and good luck contacting the store manager, Janet Uzzel, about an issue. For such a reputable school, it needs more customer service.
Loved Apple shop overthere.
Building is great and staff are lovely and helpful.

The DC Carnegie Library is a historic landmark in Washington, D.C. that has been transformed into a modern Apple flagship store. The building was originally built in 1903 with funding from Andrew Carnegie, and it served as the city's central library for many years. In 2019, the library closed for a two-year renovation, and it reopened in 2021 as an Apple store.

The Apple Carnegie Library is a beautiful example of Beaux-Arts architecture. The exterior is made of white marble, and the interior features a soaring rotunda with a skylight. The store which is on the first floor is home to a wide variety of Apple products, as well as a Genius Bar for technical support. There is also a space called the Forum that is used for events and workshops.

In addition to being an Apple store, the DC Carnegie Library is also a museum of DC history which is on the second floor. The store features a number of exhibits about the library's history, as well as the history of DC. There are also interactive displays that allow visitors to learn about the city's past. Some of the collection was moved to the MLK library a few blocks away to make room for apple.

Overall, the DC Carnegie Library is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, architecture, or Apple products. The store is a beautiful and historic landmark that has been thoughtfully restored and repurposed.

Here are some of the pros and cons of the DC Carnegie Library:

Pros:

Beautiful Beaux-Arts architecture

Wide variety of Apple products
Forum for events and workshops
Museum of DC history

Cons:

Can be crowded, especially on weekends

Not as much selection of Apple products as some other Apple stores

Overall, I would highly recommend visiting the DC Carnegie Library. It is a beautiful and historic landmark that has been thoughtfully restored and repurposed. Whether you are interested in Apple products, history, or architecture, you are sure to enjoy your visit.

Loved spending time in this campus store. Such terrific school gear. Great selection of gift type items too. And lovely staff.
The Carnegie Library I visited for Mac service proved to be a reliable and convenient destination for all my Apple-related needs. As a hub for technology enthusiasts and Mac users, the library seamlessly combines its historical charm with modern services, providing a unique and welcoming environment. The service center was well-equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform a range of Mac repairs. From software updates to hardware replacements, the staff demonstrated competence and efficiency in handling various service requests. The availability of genuine Apple parts further added to the reliability and quality of the repairs performed.

The Carnegie Library offers more than just Mac service. It serves as a vibrant community space, with a range of resources and activities to engage visitors. From a vast collection of books to workshops and events, the library fosters an environment that encourages learning and exploration.

Used to be one of the first library in DC historical place, small but elegant. Second floor is a museum and bookstore. First floor is a contemporary apple store.

It is the location is great, near convention center, chinatown, metro station, Marriott hotel, and a lot of cafe. ~Eric

If you are purchasing electronics or any electronics accessories, you are not permitted to return a product even if it is defective or damaged after opening and inspecting it. Save your purchases of important items for other places if you want to be sure they work
Not open during posted times.

Love the building. I can’t imagine another retailer doing what apple did. As an Apple Store same as you would expect. The DC museum portion was closed while we were there. Visit the lower level and heck out the history of the space. Very interesting.

Decent campus store with several items for apparel and academic needs. The staff are very concerned with mask wearing even though DC seems to no longer have the mandates. Good bookstore although they lack bigger sizes on their clothing.
Super frustrated at GW Bookstore customer service. I bought a hood and tassel for graduation, but prior to the graduation ceremony I realized I wouldn't be able to go so I tried to return the items. They had never told me the items were nonrefundable when I bought them. I still had the receipt and everything and they wouldn't let me return. On top of being upset that I didn't get to walk at graduation, I had the added stress of paying for stuff I didn't use, and dealing with rude customer service. 0/10
Asked for a basic battery replacement. He told me it would be $120/hr and I would need to order the battery myself. There are better places around the area for a laptop repair.
I always feel welcome here and enjoy the conversations had while conducting business
