This is my new go to koobideh spot! The food is amazing, the portions are huge with so many tasty elements, and the service is so friendly and down to earth. The vibe is also really cozy yet modern. I’ve been here twice in 3 days so you bet I’ll be back again and again!
It’s a nice and cozy Persian restaurant with a couple of tables that you can dine in or you can order takeout. Their menu includes different variety of kebabs, dizi, Biryan, kebab platters and appetizers.
We ordered BBQ Platter #4 and a Soltani Kebab. The presentation is very nice; they arrived in a nice copper platter with salad and grilled vegetables. The taste was okay, but the grilled vegetables were burnt. Even the kebabs were burnt in some parts and that’s because they don’t use a charcoal bbq. The portion of kebabs were smaller than usual; specifically, Koobideh Kebab was very thin, considering their prices are equal and in some cases higher than other Persian restaurants.

The food is good, but the service could use some improvement. There's no menu provided; you have to go to the counter to place your order. Also, the food arrived a bit cold, possibly waiting for someone to bring it to our table. It seems like they might be understaffed at the moment. However, the food itself was delicious. The Bakhriari (joojeh and koobideh) kebab ($26) and their ash reshteh ($12) were great. The price is a bit high, though. Overall, I would give 4/5 for the food and service. Next time, I will try their Berian, but it should be served with a Persian naan, like sangak or traditional lavash, instead of pita bread.
The atmosphere and decor were delightful, with attentive staff, particularly the friendly ladies. We sampled the Beryani and Vaziri kebab; the Beryani was alright, but the Koobideh could have been more thicker and juicier. The presentation and sides were impeccable. I recommend this restaurant. However, I'd like to mention that they require payment in advance and the tipping system seemed a bit unclear to me. I believe that the quality of food and presentation should be factored into the tipping process.
I won't dine in this restaurant again. The food proportion was very low compared to price. I visited with friends and we have been to many other persian restaurants before, and we were all unsatisfied in here. The koobideh was very small and thin, and the price was more than other restaurants.
Why didn't I try this place before? I finally got a chance to experience their fantastic dish and OMG it made me smile. Out of the world tender meats with fantastic taste... The portion is quite big as well so be prepared to make your stomach full. Easily one of the best persian place in Richmond Hill area.
I just had their mixed leg and beef wrap and it was super awesome. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service. Would love to come again.
I don't often crave sushi but when I do this is my go To. Service is always excellent and the food is always delicious. The place is always clean and I would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Its the best sushi place ever. The sashimi tastes so fresh and it melts in your mouth. This place is my favourite restaurant!
Nice quiet spot for sushi. All you can eat at this restaraunt with tablets for ordering. Went for dinner with some friends. sushi is really fresh. Service is really good. I especially liked the miso soup.
Prices are about average for all you can eat dinner.

Came here on a week night to pick up dinner and ordered a koobideh platter. I really wanted to like this place and become a regular since its in a convenient location and price seemed fair. Customer service I must say was very friendly and welcoming however the food wait was really long, almost 15 minutes and it did not taste as flavourful and juicy as I was hoping. Decor is nice and it is very clean, maybe I’ll give their chicken a try next time.
One of the best sushi places so far! It’s gorgeous, clean and cozy inside and the food is always amazing! We buy there at least once or twice a week for many years now and never got disappointed! Always fresh and great taste! Even homemade soy sauce is incredible!

Craving for sushi and sashimi and ordered this akimi set C. Sashimi and sushi is expected fresh. Price is reasonable. If you want a quick bit or Crave for sushi, this is what you wanna go. Fast, and get what you want. Recommend
The foods served in this restaurant was absolutely divine ! The fruit sushi were sweet,crunchy filled fruits inside with a chewy wrap. They have varieties of sushi you can't find on other Japanese sushi restaurant,server's we're accommodating, and our orders came very fast! Overall the foods served were exquisite! We Highly recommended Akimi! One if the Best Japanese restaurant
This place is pretty good. It has some special rolls that you wouldn't find anywhere else, otherwise. Their picked ginger roll and special seaweed sushi is worth trying!! It has good vegetarian options, as well as lots of non veg and sushi!
