I previously left a negative review after a disappointing experience with food that wasn't fresh, resulting in stomach pain. However, I decided to give them another shot yesterday. Surprisingly, they offered me the lunch special, even though it was a weekend. I must say, they've completely turned things around. The food was fantastic – fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. It's not often you get such quality at this price point. For around $12, the value is unbeatable. It's clear they've taken feedback seriously and improved their game. I'm glad I gave them a second chance. They've won me over with their commitment to better service and quality meals. If you're looking for a tasty, affordable meal, it's definitely worth a visit.
Although this food was brought to me it tasted pretty good! I didn't go inside so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere but it looked appetizing and it actually was! Perfect for lunch! Great portion as well. Hoping to go back and try more dishes from here.
We went there with my wife and kids, the food was amazing.and theb read, hummus and salad were also so delicious.
Their food are made to order, so you will have to be patient and wait for 20 minutes. Moreover, the guys are busy, so sometimes it is hard to find a table quickly.
We enjoyed everything and will definitely come back again.

I’m sorry. I’ve been here 4 times due to good pricing and it’s basically next door to my office. The restaurant stinks and is dirty. So much grime on the floors. I ordered anyways. The rice was good each time. The chicken balls have raw dough and I even asked for well done once I caught on to see if it was just a one off. Wrong. Tried the chicken wings instead. Broken bones, dark, dank, gross meat and greasy. Tasted spoiled and I threw them all away after busting a few open. Last time I was the there, and I mean the LAST TIME, a mouse ran across the floor in the hallway beside the kitchen. I returned against better judgement after a few let downs based on good reviews but I’m done. To each their own but this place is nasty.
Small place, big flavors... easy access, free parking. Nice atmosphere, surrounded by cultural items. I tried the beef, the chicken and the lamb, all really good, flavored, spices, well cooked, little smoked. On the sides, garlic cream and hummus, both good. Was a family plate for around $60. Good price. 👍

Waitress girl is useless..put a board or something if you are not interested in welcoming some communities.. otherwise show your bloody Syrian hospitality..We were waiting at our table for ordering for more than 10 mins and the girl is roaming around without asking us anything. We had to go to the desk to order food. There are just 4 tables..and we were there for more than 1hr and girl didn’t even ask ‘do you want anything else’? You guys don’t even deserve a shop. Food is excellent.. i must praise the cook for this..I usually like mediterranean cuisine and so came to experience this. It doesn’t go well as expected.

Decor is mostly the same with a slightly adjusted layout.
Located inside the mall so you have to deal with mall parking.
There was a big group of about 12 people that were on the other side of the restaurant. Most other seating could accommodate about four.
Had the curry which was spicy for the kids.
The crispy noodles and chicken with vegetables was a large size portion.
Pork chop and rice is always a good option.
Fried tofu and shrimp was another good option.

I recently tried this great place and it was a total win! The portions were great – definitely got my money's worth and then some. The flavors were spot on, especially their chili chicken which was just the right kind of spicy. Plus, the staff were super friendly and quick with service, making the whole experience really laid-back and enjoyable.
Ordered takeout through DoorDash and had the Aleppo Kebab Mix Platter and Aleppo Kebab Plate. Was plenty of food for 5-6 people. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious - meat was flavourful and there was plenty. Good value for food.

Don’t try the (paneng) peanut coconut bowl. It’s not what you think it’s supposed to be. It’s not a curry and doesn’t taste like coconut either. It’s just stir fried soy sauce with tiny bits of peanut. Pretty disappointed. :(
It’s a great place for kebab items. We were 5 people and ordered 2x chicken kebab plates, 1x beef kebab plate and a chicken sandwich.
Honestly, food was close to the great level. We expected little more tastier. Overall we liked the service and atmosphere.

I live far from here and it was my first time going as I was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. I got combo plater 4C I got Beef fried rice, chicken wings, and spring rolls. I can say this is the best fried rice I have ever tasted and I’ve tasted many different fried rice dishes as it is my favourite food. They were not stingy with the portions whatsoever I eat a lot and when I tell you I got full and it didn’t even seem like I made a dent in the food was crazy. The price is reasonable and comparable to other restaurants of this kind considering the times we are in right now but the portion makes up for it 10x. I’m making it my mission to come to this place any time I’m in the area. 10/10 you won’t be disappointed.

My experience with this subway was very good, the staff was very kind in nature especially guy named harsh, he was very polite to me! I'd recommend everyone to visit there
This Location is decent for being in a Mall. Good food. Would come again. When it Not so Busy. Around 11am-1pm.
We had gobi 65 and veg noodles. Tastes so good. Gobi 65 is very crunchy and tasty when dine in. Veg noodles also very tasty. Both dishes are not spicy and kids will love them. We prefer takeout here as this restaurant serves non-veg also.
Over priced ($15) for a fried rice that came with no vegetables and tofu that was equivalent to chewing on rubber. Definitely would NOT recommend!
Thai Express in this food court at $14.08 for a bowl of Tom Yum noodles soup with vegetables is higher price than other places with meat. The Tom Yum flavour is too watered down and lack spiciness. Not my place for a good meal.
My first visit to Jollibee. Since I just ate so I only got their famous peach mango pie. It’s heavenly. It’s 3.49 each but 4 for $10. It’s worth the money because it’s so delicious.
I’ll come to try their fried chicken and the other pies next time.

Service is really good specially Vijay because of him we went many times with group of more then 10 peoples. Specially Chandra uncle referred us to this place so we went many times with him and today as well. We love the food and services. Even with busy setvice we had good experience and we will refer them to a friends and family to give them a try..
Outstanding taste value and hospitality at this curious tucked away boutique authentic Syrian halal kebab shop. We got the Half Aleppo Kebab Mix Platter. My wife tried them once and met the owner and raved about for days and insisted we drive out there today. The food was every bit as delicious as described. For all those who love Turkish think the best you've had here and now add a little more color to the flavor, quality to the meat and value bang for your buck.
And for context i love and have eaten kebabs at many places so am well qualified when I say this place is exceptional.

Wanna have typical Indian style South Indian food? Visit here... Seriously food was amazing... Although quantity of sabzi in speciality dosa was bit less but you really can't complaint at this price point...
We ordered 2 special dosas - Pav Bhaji and Paneer masala, pav bhaji was ok but paneer one was really nice and then we ordered Rasam Idli (dipped) which was amazing

The food was okay . The food portion was good but there was beef was too big and not enough . There was more noodles than than the protein . This cost me $15 . Don’t recommend going here . The spice level wasn’t the greatest either .

This is South Indian Chettinad style Cuisine and I love their food 😍.I ordered Califlower 65, Parotta with Eggplant Kulampu , filtered Coffee, my friends Ordered Chicken 65, parotta with Mutton Curry. I will Recommend this Restaurant if anyone wants to try Authentic Kaarikudi style food.
We ordered masala dosa and rava masala dosa, the taste was okayish. The rava masala dosa was a little oily. The size of the dosas are quite good but the quantity of chutney provided with that is just not sufficient and they charge for extra chutney.

They probably have the best fried chicken out there. The yum burger ain't bad but lacks veggies (ie lettuce tomato onions). It only has sauce and patty.
Amazing food, very tasty and full of flavour. We order the house special noodles, chili chicken, chicken pakora and chicken brocoli. It was the best tasting chinese food I ever tried. We ordered 1 order of each dish and 3 of us ate, plus we had left overs to take home. For the 4 dishes, I paid about $60.
I would say you can get some best south indian tiffins in here. I absolutely loved rava dosa and ghee pongal.. Also, ask for more green chutney while ordering as they give very less initially and takes time for the second serving.

Being a South Indian , little particular about South Indian taste , but this place is heaven for South Indian food . It is the way we wanted 🤩 tried many dishes and from start to end and all were amazing ♥️ The staff made my sister birthday more special 😇Must visit if you are visiting Niagara and this will make your trip more awesome .

I had masala dosa and it was good taste. with 7 taste uttapas that was good too. but the quantity of chutney has reduced. as i have been eating here for years. and i have had almost ever item on their menu and they are all good. The Madras Coffee was good . as usual The atmosphere has changed also as there is a section where things are stored and they are not covered . so it gives a feeling of you are sitting in a store room and having food. i hope they make it look like a restaurant like before
We have been dining and taking out from this modest south indian place for years no. Its no fuss, no frills and who cares kinda eatery that server pretty decent south indian tiffins and mains. Recent years have seen Toronto get a lot of variety in south indian eateries but this place has endured test of time , including the pandemic. Perhaps the only place and may be even the first to cater bulk take outs of Idlis, Vada, Dosa etc. Flagship location in Scarborough is the better one of the other in Brampton

I come here regularly to get my tiffin and sometimes eat panipuri and dahipuri. The food quality and quantity is perfect for the money they charge. Vinay has always helped with my orders and is very polite server and cashier.

There are so many great things to order here, but I recommend the Chicken Fried rice, Tandoori Chicken, Mutton Soup anyway (or the Cauliflower 65 for vegetarian option). The dosas are also great too.

Got the breakfast sandwich which has, as per the website "Housemade Spam, Tamago, fresh daikon salad and Spicy Mayo! Seasoned with furikake." It was good, not great. The spam really does taste homemade with it being more tender than canned spam. It has the consistency of steamed meat, not that I eat steamed meat often, but that's what it tastes like. I think this would pair better with a fried overeasy or sunny side up egg than tamago. The bread is the best part - fresh and buttery.
Nice to have a Jollibee outlet near us. The best fried chicken you can find and with free gravy. Tasty spaghetti and palabok too.
I’m very disappointed everytime I order at this location. First, the buns has molds. Second, the chicken were undercooked. Now, my palabok does not have any sauce. Employees weren’t sorry for what happened. I just asked for a refund instead. Please value your customers as some of them only have few minutes for their break time (like me).

Tried Pork Kasti, Chicken Katsu and the prawn Sandwich. Personally i like the pork ones more! It a really good option for you just want to grab something to eat quick and fast! And also they are make by order, hot and fresh at the same time!
Tried their Panipuri. 7 flavours of pani with ragda and Chana. That too 8 Panipuri in 5$. Decent taste.

Food is mostly meat based and worth every penny u pay. They do take time to make the food, but it's worth the wait. Please be patient with the service as I could see that they're usually very busy juggling cooking, serving and packing online/pick up orders. You might want to do a pick up or order ahead in that case.
Seating is limited because of the space constraints. Portion sizes are more than sufficient and everything is made fresh.
We ordered the mixed kebab platter, a beef appetizer, spicy bread as a side and one kebab plate with rice. It comes with pickles on the side, garlic sauce and hummus. More than enough for 5 full grown adults and lip smacking delicious.

This place increased price $2 up per dish BUT the portion is SMALLER than before😂very greedy. If you are very hungry it wont filled you and needed to order side dishes about $30 for a VN meal per person is ripped off and not worth.
They cooked different quality of food per day how shocking. When i went in morning ordered the rice it is staled from lastnight they heated it up in microwave let you eat they wont throw away a thing. Only in the evening rice is fresh.
Also previous reviews said a lot of beansprouts at bottom of any bowl is yes so true! And also lots of lattuce beneath their mango salad as mango is only a few thin slices on top and schrimps are cut in half vertically😂. Very greedy owner.

They cooked different quality of food per day how shocking. When i went in morning ordered the rice it is staled from lastnight they heated it up in microwave let you eat they wont throw away a thing. Only in the evening rice is fresh.
Also previous reviews said a lot of beansprouts at bottom of any bowl is yes so true! And also lots of lattuce beneath their mango salad as mango is only a few thin slices on top and schrimps are cut in half vertically😂. Very greedy owner.
Grilled pork on their 'bun' is very fat + oily + salty, spring rolls are overcooked dark brown like dog food.

Walking in, the place was well-lit and clean. The staff was attentive. We ordered the chicken, pork, prawn and breakfast katsupan. We also got the curry dipping sauce as well. The sauce compliments the chicken and pork very well. It adds more umami flavour to them. The prawn was well-balanced with the red sauce and had a nice crunchy texture to it. The breakfast katsupan was quite salty from the spam. A tangy sauce would have been nice to take away the saltiness a bit. The bread was the overall highlight of all four items. This place is worth a try!

I was stuck into hospital last night and wasn’t expecting anything to be opened this late in night. But then I found this Subway located right inside hospital. The attendant at the store was so kind enough to help us with the order and treated us really nice. Aafiya was generous enough to share her name with us.
The real taste of Chennai right in Toronto. I’ve had great veg. Food before but this was the most authentic. Variety of flavour on a single platter. Definitely will be back for more.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for some time now! We received great service, the food was good— very simple, and it was a snack to share so that we could try other food along the strip. The fries were great; topped with chilli and seaweed, they were a great change from regular French fries. I would come back to try their shrimp sandwich for sure.

Was initially hesitant to go to the Anjappar at Scarborough as we were not satisfied with the one in Mississauga after trying out several times. But this place proved us wrong. Visited with family and friends on a Sunday afternoon. The order was served quick and hot. The chicken lollipop, mutton pepper fry, crab masala and roast are not to miss. The mutton and crab soups were peppery and great for the throat. The mutton and fish meals were delicious. They should work on the prawn fry as it was not up to the mark, not even close to the one served in India . Though the biriyani was flavourful, the chicken was not soft. Though there were sight misses here and there, overall it was a good dining experience.
We have tried some snacks from this store in past and we loved their Dabeli and Dahi puri!! Yesterday while our visit in Scarborough we decided to go for it again. But unfortunately the taste was way different. Dabeli had too much of stuffing and spicy. And dahi puri had very less dahi in it. I wish you could maintain the taste of these snacks!!
Very delicious sandwich. I tried both chicken and prawn. The bread was so soft. The fries were freshly cooked. Though the food was a bit expensive, it was worth to try. But there was no place to eat inside and only take away.
We were shopping at the Bridlewood Mall and decided to get a meal somewhere. Since my wife and I love Vietnamese food, we decided to try out this place. We were immediately seated in a nice booth and provided with a kettle of hot clear tea along with two tiny cups. We could not help but notice that the restaurant did not seem air conditioned like the rest of the mall. We ordered a Grilled Pork Chop & Grilled Chicken with Rice and a Grilled Chicken with Rice. The food was properly cooked and flavourful and there was even a very nice house hot sauce to compliment the food. The food was a little dry so we would have appreciated some lemon slices like most Vietnamese restaurants that we have gone to provide.
I was made to feel like I did something wrong when I asked our server for some ordinary water. She behaved as though I was asking for something out of the ordinary. Her curt tone of voice and behaviour somewhat ruined our moods. To be fair, she did come back a little while later with two glasses of lukewarm tap water. Overall, we did enjoy our meals and would come back just to see if the next visit would be a more positive one.

They limited the number of veggies you can put on your sandwich. The worker only put 6 pieces of spinach on my sandwich. When since did they limit the number of veggies? it is not worth it to buy a sandwich there for the price.
I love Japanese sandwiches, specifically chicken katsu sandwiches. Reminded me back when my mom would make them for me back when I was a kid.
The store was busy making online orders but there was a self-service kiosk with that we’re able to use! Which was great instead of waiting for the staff to be free while they were busy!

Came to try their Japanese sandwiches, was recommended the too two favourites: chicken katsu and prawn katsu sandwich (spicy), add a side of togarashi fries! Also has their sweet bread loaves available to purchase.
Vietnamese restaurant located inside Bridlewood Mall. Waitresses speak Cantonese. The food tastes average, but prices are very affordable compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. They are busy due to location, but you can get a table easily without reservations. I ordered a tomato soup base noodle, but did not taste any tomato flavour at all. I would recommend their fresh rolls.
Great pho! The broth is light and flavourful but not too salty. Large portions as you’d hope for a pho place. The spring rolls are good too.

Went for the first time looking for a quick carry out lunch. The store has a variety of stuff South Asian vegetarians are looking for! Amazing ambience and clean. Ordered and received my combo in less than 10 minutes. I tried the breakfast sando with french fries. Just wow. The sandwich was delicious and fries were super crispy with a small kick of spice. The only thing I’d change is for each sandwich slice to be wrapped in parchment paper or another alternative as it’s difficult to take proper bites without the ingredients falling out and it’s quite a oily sandwich. If you’re wondering, they also sell bread loafs and jam. For those who love their instagram photo ops, they have a wall that’s perfect for you.
Ordered chole bhature, bhature was not cooked properly and was hard as you can see in the picture. All of three become like this and had to throw it since no one can eat bhature like this. I don’t understand if someone has ordered online, you just put food in bags even though it was not good. May be you are saving your food or stock but wasting our money.
On March 23, 2023. Through uber, I ordered 2 chicken and bacon pepper corn ranch salads. I received the salad with rice in it. I was recently diagnosed as a diabetic and cannot have rice. I called the store the next day where the employe told me I would need to speak to the manager. I said ok I will call her. I spoke to her on March 30th were she told me to come in because I told her I had pictures to show her that the salads were wrong. I came in on April 1st, 2023. After showing her the receipt and the picture she told me it wasn't her store. Her store isn't 2867 Ellesmere. Her store is 2863. She sent me across the stree to the other subway telling me it was them. When I went there, their address is 2872. I went back to her as said this is the address because it is showing the location in the centenary Hospital. I told her she has two addresses for her location. Either way she told me she couldn't give me the money back because I would have had to come the next day to get a refund. I told her I couldn't have come the next day because I go to school in the mornings and work in the evens so the weekend is my only time I can come. She then contiuned to say she cannot refund me, the system wouldn't allow her. I told her so wasted my money on two salads i couldn't eat. She srugged her shoulders. I asked for the number for head office. She lied and told me there is no head office. I would like to konw if I could get conpensation for going salads and for her sending me on a wild goose chase with the location of the store.
Absolutely incredible. My friend wanted to treat me to authentic Northern Dumplings. The usual restaurant was no longer there so by chance found Dumpling Restaurant. Had Pork and Celery dumplings, and Chives with egg dumplings, Beef with Broccoli and Shredded Fish. All was very delicious and freshly made.14 dumplings per order. Good Prices, Great Quality and Quantity. Highly recommend.

I go to this place quite often and the staff there is also courteous, I usually buy from their already prepared food that is in the display where they have few curries, noodles etc and sometimes I try their Pavbhaji, Khaman, Dhokla, Samosas, Chinese Puff, Paneer Puff etc and all of those items are pretty good. Their price is also quite good. They do have small dine in area counter if you want to eat your snacks but not good enough to have lunch or dinner there as you have to stand while eating.
If l could give this place a zero l would. This is the second time l have ordered there and found hair in my food. Had to throw the whole thing away. The food level has gone down over the years at first taste it was already gross chicken was dry n stale and flavour was off. I tried to push through when l found the hair wrapped up nestled in a piece of chicken l was done. Never going back waste of my $15.00.
This restaurant is in Scarborough, but I live in Richmond Hill. Yes, it's worth the drive. The decor isn't the best, but everything is clean and food is ALWAYS great! I especially love the cold dishes.
New hakka spot. Never tried it before because i thought its strictly Chinese food due to the name but its hakka. Amazing food and service. Manchurian egg fried rice. Chili chicken gravy. Chicken pakoras and veggie chow mein and crispy beef is what we get. Will continue going here.

We are fortunate to have such a great spot right here in our neighbourhood where the food is excellent and very reasonably priced and the service is excellent. The butternut squash soup, made on Tuesdays is an integral part of my diet. It's "top ten."
One of my favourite restaurant to have perfect Tamil Nadu cuisine!! This branch does a service above and beyond. The food is too good and do check out their daily specials mentioned! From which had Madurai style bun parotta it was extremely soft and good! Do visit!

Dropped by on a Tuesday morning, so there was no lineup. The spicy chicken sandwich was sold out unfortunately. I was able to get the deluxe chicken sandwich which was not bad. The mango/peach dessert was good, but came in a small portion. The food came out quickly and the service was fast and friendly. Overall the experience was about what you can expect from a fast food chicken restaurant.

Been coming here on and off throughout the years as I live near by. Peter is such a nice man who runs a successful business, so if you want to support local this is the place. His food always tastes amazing and is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a healthy bite! He also has good poutines if you’re looking for a treat, the brownies as well! Homemade soups and salads… I personally love his Greek chicken slouvaki wrap too. Everything I’ve tried here I like. Highly recommend :)

First found this restaurant on a whim last month and it was so good we ended up coming back for more. The dumplings are all excellent, on the first visit I had the pan fried pork and chive dumpling as well as the pork potstickers. The potstickers are a must have! My dad and sister got the noodles which were noticeably hand pulled and absolutely delicious. On our second round, I had got the beef pancake recommended in other reviews and the pork and chive potstickers which were both so flavourful. Highly recommend coming to this place but get in early, it fills up quickly.
The soup and green onion pancake was amazing! However my family and I got MILD FOOD POISONING after eating the slightly undercooked chicken dumplings. They tasted fine but we got sick later that evening.
Would recommend other dishes aside from the dumplings, ironic that it’s called Dumpling Restaurant and would ask for well cooked chicken instead.

Approached the front at 9:40. Lady told me they were closed. Asked her “you close at 9:40?” She shrugs her shoulders at me. Keep in mind this is in a hospital where this is the only food option or I have to pay for parking twice. Garbage customer service
Amazing food. It's always fresh and ready. The place has remained the same since my first visit 10years back and the taste and experience remains the same despite the overwhelming crowd. Definitely try there Spl Fish Fry if you love sea food. It's so fresh and it had amazing taste. It's been such a long time since we tasted such an amazing fish.

Food is surprisingly decent when there isn’t an atrocious lineup. Came here twice, once for their 2 piece combo and the other time for their chicken sandwich pretty good items. Gravy is a must have as it has its unique sweetness kick to it. Fast food prep too. Only reason it’s not 5 is cause there weren’t anything memorable about the food but it’s defs in my top list in terms of value
We can always count on having a great meal at the Dumpling Restaurant. Our dinner this evening was no exception, the steamed dumplings, the fried dumplings, the beef wrap and the fried onion cake were great. Service was quick, food was all piping hot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great Scarborough hidden gem! I’ve been here a few times for takeout and the food is delicious and always fresh. Some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had, and it takes me 20 mins to drive home and they are still amazing, they travel well. The potstickers are so good they have so much filing in them, very generous portions. The braised eggplant with pork is great, the sauce is not too sweet or thick like most other places, it’s tangy with a great consistency, good to eat alone or with rice.
**Now let me tell you…** if you have not tried their fried sweet potato dish you haven’t truly lived. It’s a great dessert I get it every time, crunchy sweet and salty candied sweet potatoes, they are addictive!!!

I got to try this place after winning a giveaway on Instagram! We got a free meal for 2, which was worth $25. We ended up ordering more food and paid the difference. The staff were very friendly throughout the whole experience.
The place is connected to Bridlewood Mall, so we were able to check out the stores there before we got hungry. I really loved that the utensils came in a hot cup of water so that everything was clean and sanitized. I felt safe dining in here.

I always get an avocado milkshake but I decided to mix it up and get a jackfruit milkshake instead. It was delicious and arguably one of the best parts of my meal. It was very refreshing and not too sweet.

Seraphia is a hidden gem. Every single thing we’ve ordered has been delicious and incredible value. This pic is the holiday dinner for 4, which was amazing!
Got the poutine, orzo salad, mushroom soup, and spinach and feta snack rolls. A bit disappointed with the poutine as the gravy at the bottom and didn’t melt the cheese curds properly. The mushroom soup was alright. Orzo salad was great and so was the spinach and feta rolls. I hope to be able to try other stuff on their menu as the prices are great and there’s a wide variety of options.
As I live close by this mall, I always come downstairs to order small chicken noodle soup (add extra fish) in Thai Express. This time I got a big bowl of “mini” chicken noodle. I asked the staff why they gave me too little noodle. She told me because I ordered the small one. P.S. I have ordered the same item for several times, this time is the smallest...I will not go this store anymore!!!
Its not real chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. If you are concerned about what you eat. I use to buy from thai express but never tasted anything like this until today. See how the chicken looks like its fish layered horizontally. I think they mix fake chicken (or is it fish) with less pieces of white meat. And such a rip off. The flavour itself is not bad but people pay for the healthiness of it. You cant cheat people like this. No wonder people get sick. Im very disgusted and would not buy anything other than soup with Veges. Im very disappointed.
