Alright yall, I've been all over and seen a lot of dispensaries. DC's Market is just slightly different than most places. If you want a store experience then you have to fill out a request for a in store appointment. But if you don't care about the whole shop experience, just place curbside. In my opinion it's way easier anyway. It's same day as well. Be close by when you place your order. The customer service is very prompt and after you place your order they call/text you to figure out your ETA. They're on it and when they say it'll be ready in 15 mins they mean more like 5. Unless they're really busy. Anyway great people, good product and super easy transaction.

SKETCHY- not a real establishment. I went to the designated location (which was a wine store) and he very politely told me the dispensary wasn’t there. Someone is fraudulently listing this business (using real addresses around the city) and likely delivering.

Dr. Salotto did some work on my right wrist to see if it would fix this crackling sensation i have been getting while rotating my wrists regularly and lifting. We went through an hour of different stretching techniques and massage therapy throughout my whole right arm and deltoid in order to fix the problem. Come 4 days post session, I have to say the majority of the crackling in my right wrist has gone down tremendously if not, completely when compared to the wrist we did no work on. Indigo is what healthcare should look like. I have been seeing Dr. Snejana Sharkar since November of 2022 for breast cancer. I wish I had found Dr. Sharkar and the Indigo team at the start of my cancer healing journey.

Indigo uses a variety of conventional and alternative/integrative assessments and interventions to treat a variety of health issues. I’ve been to a major integrative cancer center and Indigo is on par, if not above, some of the capabilities of those types of centers.

Through use of the RGCC test and other specialized tests, we were able to come up with an individualized plan to not only target the breast cancer cells, but the many other root issues compromising my immune system. Dr. Sharkar has healed my gut and boosted my immune system so that it’s stronger than ever. I am so grateful to be eating and doing the things I couldn’t do before.

As part of my treatment plan, I received low dose chemo/IPT. It is rare to find this type of targeted cancer treatment and a doctor who has years and years of experience with it. The outcomes of retesting have shown progress and I feel better than I ever have. I am grateful for no awful side effects that typically come along with chemotherapy treatment.

Dr. Snejana Sharkar listens and genuinely wants to understand your struggles. She meets you where you are at while reassuring you that there are always options. So far I have the best service from all of the Indigo Integrative Health Clinic staffs. I have never seen such a doctor who is focusing on identifying the root cause and working on to resolve each issue by prioritizing them. Dr. Safayan is a lifesaver. My husband has always had low iron but Dr Safayan was the first dr to ever say, "let's find out why". Due to family history, it was highly likely that he had celiac but instead of only testing for that, he did a full work up and a unusually large polyp was discovered. My husband was in his early 30's so it wld have gone undetected until it was a problem. I'm surprised to hear others say Dr. Safayan a money-making machine. On the contrary, he spends 20-30 minutes with us (more as necessary), never rushes us, and always asks for a complete health picture. I cannot speak highly enough about the Indigo team. I have been with them for about 7 months now. I cannot remember the last time that my body felt this healthy and balanced. I arrived at Indigo with several autoimmune flares and several prescription medicines that I no longer wanted to be on. I felt like the more I tried to get off these medicines because of the side effects, the more medicines were prescribed to me.
Dr. Sharkar genuinely listened to all my concerns and dug into every corner of my health history that she found relevant. After several tests, we found what was causing my worst symptoms. With some months of work and commitment we were able to help me reach my goals.
I will concede that this was more costly than a regular doctor, but I do fear the path that my health was headed down before I found Dr. Sharkar. Also, the team, shout out especially to Sarah, is very helpful and responsive when it comes to filling out forms and providing the information needed for some insurance coverage. I was able to get visits and supplements covered by my FSA with Sarah’s help.
I have worked with other functional health/naturopath doctors before and can say that none compare to Indigo Health’s organization, attention to detail, and overall care. My OBGYN was so impressed with my progress that she requested Dr. Sharkar’s information. I have preached to anyone that will hear me about Indigo Clinic and about this line of medical care. At the end of the day this is an investment into your future and longevity. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Dr Safayan will test you for everything under the sun, as he did with me, even though I didn't present with symptoms, and surprise you with a $600 bill from Quest Diagnostics. Looking for diabetes if your blood glucose level has always been perfectly normal, no familial history, or checking your prostate health as a healthy 30 year old male, for example. None of this is considered preventative care by insurance and you'll be left with the bill.

I saw Dr. M for treatment of my neck/shoulder area and immediately felt relief of discomfort and tension in the area with improvement continuing into the next day. Whether it was physical manipulation, dry needling, kinesiology taping, education, or tailored exercises to perform on my own, she was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and the type of caring provider you would refer to all of your friends and family! Very grateful to have found her for all of my aches and pains and to guide me into better health! Thank you!!!

My review is strictly on the customer service that does not exist with the front desk. I have experienced this during previous visits but today was just too much and they need to be called out on their ongoing rudeness. No hello, good morning, how are you when I walked in or the lady who came in after me. Unfortunately, my doctor shares space out of this office. If you do not like being greeted with kindness, or just common courtesy, this is the place for you.

I have been seeing Dr. Maha Whetsell regularly over the past six months. She has been for me a trusted and valuable source of support for treating my pelvic floor problems. Although it is difficult for me to list all the life-changing details that I have learned from her, three big merits of her approach stand out . First, she has shown me how to breathe, and how to direct my breathing to improve my posture. Second, she has helped me to acquire a better understanding of my movements, in order to avoid further damage to my pelvic floor. Third, she has given me confidence in my ability to resume a more active lifestyle, by gradually rebuilding strength. I appreciate and endorse Dr. Whetsell's professional, medical and relationship skills.

I had two visits, a phone call, and an email with Safayan which was enough for me to size up the situation. I went to him for strictly primary care service, you know, routine annual check up after receiving a recommendation from a friend.

The one issue I had at the time of my annual check up, Safayan told me he wasn’t able to address because he stated he wouldn’t get paid by insurance company. So he referred me to the naturopathic doctor at the practice, which was fine.

However, he then ran labs above the normal ones for a routine check up which I thought was odd and he never offered an explanation as to why he did this. However, after reviewing these labs with me, he began marketing some sort of service he offers to treat environmental and food allergies so, at that point, it became clear to me that he ran these labs for the sole purpose of peddling some sort of allergy treatment program. Ordinary, this would be fine if I had allergy problems. However, I didn’t come to him presenting with allergy symptoms or with any allergy-related issues (seasonal or otherwise).

Needless to say, I didn’t have a 5 star experience with this person but fortunately primary care doctors like this are a dime a dozen and this one was no better than any other. I will say, when I expressed my concern to him about ordering these labs, he got defensive and proceeded to lecture me on trust. I informed him that trust should be earned and not bestowed on to anyone. He should clearly know this given all the noteworthy scandals over the years with medical doctors and malpractice and sexual abuse and exploitation.

He provided me with a very average level of basic primary care over the two appointments I had with him.

Dr. Safayan is remarkable and extraordinarily passionate about the field of health, well-being, and medicine—we just love love him. At any given visit, lab-work results, or body ailment, he downloads a wealth of information (you name the subject) along with healthy dose of enthusiasm and web-sites for more information. Kevin and I are so grateful to have him for our doctor. And he somehow makes us laugh every time!

For years I have presented a challenge to doctors because of my sensitivities and difficulty tolerating many medications. I find this to also be the case with natural treatments. Dr. Threlkel has recommended several supplements which are very beneficial to me. I have appreciated Dr. Safayan's thorough approach to practicing medicine for several years. I value his perspective and appreciate his wisdom. He is a doctor that listens and is not dismissive of concerns. He values labs, numbers and data points but also understands the role that emotional and mental health play in overall wellness. His emphasis on holistic health is refreshing and encouraging.
