We had signed up our son for the semester but all classes were consistently either not happening or at an other location far from the original place. Cancelling the subscription is nearly impossible. This place is a scam.

Not crazy about this location. Needs a revamp or something. It looks like it used to be another gym and equinox just slapped their name on it.
*UPDATE*

Kelvin the owner reached to me and im in complete understanding of the situation. He seems like a great guy and I wish him and the business success.

Not sure if the owner thinks it's funny but for the past 2 years I've been getting calls for Kelvin for a small business loan. I was finally able to get someone to talk to me and finally was able to get figure out what business this was. I left a few messages at the Gym for Kelvin but I never got an answer back. I'm leaving this 1 star until I get this situation settled.
I usually use the fitness area. Clean facility and great staff.
This is such an outstanding organization and the Director is an STAR in every sense of the word! See the movie LIFT if you can and learn about their program which teaching ballet to children living in shelters and how it changes their lives.
I couldn't be happier with the ballet school where my daughter attends. The corrections the teachers make are both insightful and constructive, helping her improve with each lesson. What's truly heartwarming is the strong friendships she's formed with her fellow dancers. The teachers are not only incredibly skilled but also kind and approachable, always willing to assist both students and parents. It's impressive to see how involved the kids are in shows from such a young age, fostering confidence and a love for the art.
This school has truly been a wonderful experience for our family.
Equinox is a distressing place, it's costly, but there is nothing better that investing in yourself for today and for your future. Also open on the weekends.

I live in WV but make my way up to the Highline Equinox in Chelsea because it’s never crowded and the staff is so pleasant. The other clubs nearby are all Destination clubs so they cost more too. This is a great hidden gem!
Great workout space with a plethora of equipment. Awesome employees and customer service.
MyGym E 83rd St is truly a special place! My 22 month old daughter has been attending classes here for the past year and absolutely loves it, as do my husband and I. All of the instructors are fantastic and so invested in each child's wellbeing and development. Furthermore, the facility is always immaculate and well organized. We feel so lucky to have such a wonderful program in our neighborhood.

Money can’t buy fitness 💅

I have been a member of Crunch for many years, so was excited to try something new.
What a mistake.

Upon entering Equinox High Line, the first thing I noticed was the size of their clientele.
In Crunch, one is often greeted by a range of svelte men in their mid 20s, former college jocks and fitness hungry mums.
Gone was this crowd, replaced instead by the sort of person whose body wobbles every time they do a bench press.
I fear a lot of them had subscribed to the view that, when paying $500 to join plus $250 a month for fitness, the pounds should just magically melt away - even with just one gym visit a week!
Ladies, gentlemen and people of non-specific genders, I am afraid this is not how your body works.

Slightly perturbed, I made my way over to the machines.
Shock, they were EXACTLY the same as the ones in Crunch - with the same layer of icky bacteria on the handles to match.
The rowing machines were fun but, again, same as Crunch.
Carpet was nice and hoovered well, just like Crunch.

Baffled, I began to survey the gym to see what it was actually offering that might justify its ludicrous price tag.
I noticed an ironic fridge filled with scented towels on one side, a nice touch but hardly necessary. They also had edgy taps to dispense water - also nice but not needed.
Confused, I asked a member of staff whether the scents in the towels would somehow make your muscles grow faster. They looked about as confused as I was.

The sauna was nice but, again, hardly merited all the hubbub and chit chat that surrounds it.

If you have a couple of hundred to piss up the wall, then, rather than giving it to this gym, I would suggest you donate it all to a homeless shelter. That might actually make the streets of New York safe enough for that morning run you crave!

Thank you!
Miguel, who teaches the little kids swim classes, is phenomenal!! 10/10 recommend the summer swim classes.

Great space with a warm and friendly staff, and (for the most part) chill, respectful patrons. Very good and accessible pool hours for adult lap swimming. I love that there are multiple lap lanes that work well for every type of swimmer. Great Lifeguards. All-around decent accommodations at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

This gym is still operating on pandemic hours.

M-Thurs they close at 10pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 830pm at the latest.

Fri they close at 8pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 630pm at the latest.

Sat-Sun they close at 7pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 530pm at the latest.

This is unacceptable for NYC. I raised the issue with management and they gave me a bunch of nonsense about assessing demand… blah, blah, blah. Well, you could close at 2pm and you’d observe attendance dropping around 1pm, so spare me the corporate doublespeak.

The hours at this location and the company’s rationale for permanently shortened hours are absurd. This location should return to pre-pandemic closing times of M-Thur 11pm, Fri 10pm, Sat-Sun 9pm.

They lie to you about having NBA players coming to their camp. They never show up.

Some summer camp campers are "ghetto thrash" from the projects. Bad children with street attitude threatening my son.
I was charged over $300 in extra fees because I was assigned to the incorrect sports club (which I never once went to). No one ever mentioned anything about going to the incorrect club any of the times I signed in. I noticed the fees on my credit card statement. These fees were never refunded despite escalating the complaint to management.
Best running club in town! Everyone is so nice and great at coaching. The studio is super clean and they provide towels free of charge. I love coming here. I come from bed stuy and It’s so worth it.
A baby mouse roaming around in this gym that is meant for babies! Disgusting and very unsafe especially for the babies. So sad and shameful to those parents who put their children in this trusting that the place is safe from these rodents. Disgusting!!!
My very first dance class ever was five years ago with New York Theatre Ballet. I joined the adult beginner ballet class not knowing what to expect, but I quickly realized that I had found an amazing group of people and dancers.
The teachers are fantastic! If you ask for help, they will guide you with focused suggestions that are specific to your body and skill level. I have grown so much stronger and more flexible over the years, all while gaining an appreciation of the artistry and athleticism of classical ballet.
If you have ever considered giving ballet a try, or want to restart after some time away, don’t hesitate to join a class. I wish I could give them ten stars!
A gem of a ballet school. Our family is so grateful for the exceptional quality of instruction and training our daughters receive at NYTB, and for the nurturing and empowering environment that Ms. Byer and all of the teachers and staff help to foster.  We've been with the school for over a year and a half and it has been nothing but a great experience for our daughters, and their proud parents. We love being a part of the NYTB family!
Ms. Diana Byer has taught my daughter ballet for over a decade. Ms. Byer, exudes professionalism, excellence, and passion. She is very dedicated to her students, and genuinely wants what is best for them. Through my daughter's time at New York Theatre Ballet, she has developed my daughter's technique, provided her with great opportunities, and opened many doors for success.

I recommend this school and all of its staff who are dedicated to furthering the world of dance and extremely dedicated to what they do. More than anything, this school will prepare your child to be a professional dancer should they want to pursue dance as a profession.
This legendary school, performing arts center, refuge for young and old alike is among the country’s greatest contributors to society. Artistic director, Diana Byer, is a wonderful instructor / leader and feeder of talent to the arts of NYC and Hollywood. Very highly recommended.
My daughter has been a student at the School of NYTB for five years, now returning for her sixth. Diana Byer has created a one-of-a-kind school for young dance students in NYC. For over forty years she has fostered a safe and caring institution where older students take pride in welcoming and caring for younger students; where Ms. Byer and her staff treat our children not only as young professionals but part of the NYTB family. We have always appreciated the serious ballet training that is offered at the school as well as the opportunity for young students to perform in many NYTB performances, building confidence on stage and in life. Along with their LIFT scholarship program, NYTB is a small arts organization that is vital to New York City and its families.

Pros
- awesome staff! great membership advisors, trainers, group instructors, etc.
- beautiful facilities. locker rooms always clean
- eucalyptus towels
- yoga/pilates studio that overlooks the high line!

Cons
- sometimes the yoga mats can be stinky
- packed during peak hours
I have been understanding but my patience has been exhausted. Since my time is so easily disregarded, then I might as well share my honest and transparent public review:

Owner and head coach thinks burning bridges with a former employee was an appropriate response to not wanting to properly compensate them for their time as a coaching intern. Instead I played tag for six months with Kelvin and was left with no response nor timeframe of payment. (Note that the training period was Summer 2022 and I resigned January 2023). His sudden reason being that the training program stipend was task-based and not hourly, and a string of more blame game excuses on myself and his staff. At the time I showed up and did what was told. I am not in control nor responsible for others' disorganization. I have screenshots and colleague witnesses as evidence. It's not about the money, it's the principle.

However, the coaches are knowledgeable and amicable - it's unfortunate that their potential isn't being cultivated. If you're looking to meet amazing coaches and see results you'll get it here. Front Desk staff is also attentive and personable. Can't say the same for the behind the scenes work environment, clearly.

- Former Assistant Studio Manager & Coach Intern
My 6 year old twins just finished two days of summer camp. They loved the counselors and really enjoyed playing all different types of sports. They have been to many other day camps in NYC during mini school breaks and over the summer and this was their favorite. Communication is also quite speedy and efficient. Also very accommodating rein of shine. Highly recommend.
Would not recommend any student (actor or dancer) looking to learn attend school here. Staff regularly engages with unsafe practices with students of all levels (adult to child) in their studios. There is no level of responsibility or accountability from higher management, either, when sensitive issues are brought to their attention discretely. 0/10. Do not recommend.

I enrolled my child for the outdoor camp on June 8 and 9 on Kidpass.

I haven't heard of change of schedule or location for the camps through emails, text or calls, despite of phone calls I made days before enquiring changes of locations.

On the day (June 8), I had to wait past 9 am, which was the camp start time, for a staff member of Fastbreak Kids to answer the phone call. I was told then that my child was not enrolled, which I found out in the afternoon because I did not mention 'Kidpass'. Consequently, this mistake brought substantial disruptions to our work schedules.
I took my granddaughter to a class at MyGym recently and was very impressed. I appreciated the encouragement for her to try new things, as well as their focus on cleanliness and safety.

I train here twice a week, and the two coaches I work with are some of the nicest people ever. They’re very chill and respectful, and ALWAYS push me to be the best that I can be.
Extremely disappointed. The AC has not been working for over 2 weeks now. Asked several times about it. They keep saying "we are looking into it" etc. I am sorry, but paying the hefty monthly membership fee to workout at a gym without AC is unacceptable. This is supposed to be "High-end".

Additionally. The hours of operation are the most ridiculous thing I have seen. Weekends closes at 7PM? Wow

Unacceptable Equinox experience. There were no benches, aging equipment and no towels to be found for more than a half hour. The front desk staff did not seem to care, considering many others in the locker room were complaining. The brand has gone downhill in recent years, clearly cutting corners to cut costs and of course raise prices. Will be considering cancelling until issues are resolved and implore others to think about the same. The beauty of NYC is that there is always another, often better, alternative to most things.
I went to see Eugene for a back injury that I had 3 weeks ago. He help me a lot on the rehab. Eugene was very patience and knowledgeable on what he was doing, he explain the benefit and the purpose of each exercise in order to have a successful recovery.
Very educated trainers, semi private training and classes are smart.

I visited the place again today. It's surprising to find that their operational hours remain unchanged, closing at 7pm on both Saturdays and Sundays, even though the COVID-19 pandemic has long since ended. The maintenance team's presence can be rather overwhelming; it's not uncommon to see vacuum cords haphazardly spread out during peak hours, leading to members often stumbling over them.

An unfortunate incident happened today, where a man was unable to handle the weights on the bench press and dropped them onto his chest. Instead of offering assistance, the maintenance team just vacuumed around him as he grappled with the weights. Thankfully, another member stepped in to assist him. It's disconcerting to realize that the staff here lacks both knowledge and initiative, a combination that could potentially lead to legal troubles for the gym due to their incompetence.

Moreover, it's a regular sight to see members monopolizing multiple machines during peak hours. It's not unheard of for individuals to leave their belongings on up to three machines simultaneously. Management should email members of this gym, reminding them of proper gym etiquette rather than allowing a hostile environment to fester. I’ve seen members get into arguments with each other when a rude member is monopolizing multiple machines during a busy time. To put it bluntly, this gym is far from an ideal workout environment.

The sole reason I frequent this gym is due to its convenience – its location just below my apartment, coupled with the fact that its membership fee is bundled into my rent.
Visiting NYC and our hotel (Mondrian) has a reciprocity agreement with this club. Convenient, clean facility with a solid amount of equipment, and friendly and informative staff. Shout out to AGM Tommy for the welcome and quick gym orientation!
Great gym, very well Equipped, staff is very friendly and it was super clean and organized. Not over crowded so it’s easy to get through a workout without waiting.

This theater is a great place to have a show, ample seating, a great sound system located on 14th street in New York City
I got an e-mail notifying me that my membership had been cancelled. As I wasn't sure about keeping it anyways, I figured that was fine. And then went and joined another gym. Six months later I realized they had nonetheless kept charging me. When I brought it up to them, they refused to refund the $400 they had charged me over that time.

ETA: Re, the response from the owner. I brought it up with the manager of the club, who escalated it to the regional manager. Both of them said they would not refund the money. They're aware of what they're doing wrong. They simply prefer to keep the money than to remedy it. "Great customer service" means being polite, as long as it doesn't cost them anything. Even when they had no real right to the money in the first place.

Always a fantastic workout experience when I go to the High Line location - I love the open concept of the weights area and the spaciousness of the locker room. Also, the yoga and Pilates studio upstairs have amazing views of the high line and all of the instructors I’ve had were top notch. Will return every time I’m in the area!!
My two daughters have enjoyed MyGym over the last year and a half. Its been a great outlet for them to get their energy out throughout the winter and on rainy days. The staff has been wonderful with scheduling assistance and make ups. There are other gyms in the neighborhood however the flexibility of MyGym with unlimited open plays make it the best value.
Eugene was recommended to me by a neighbor. I have pain in my lower back and left knee from old age and years of playing sports. It was affecting my golf game. Eugene is a life saver. With his expert knowledge of physical therapy he was able to put together a customized program for me.
I have been a client of Eugene for 2 years, twice a week on zoom. The benefits have been tremendous. My overall strength has improved especially in the areas that hurt. My pain is greatly diminished and I can once again play golf pain free. I highly recommend Eugene.

Very run down facility. The gym area is tiny and get cramped and overcrowded during peak hours. The indoor court is often empty during the day and a complete waste of space. The classes are limited to the same offerings I find at local gyms. Why is there not a cardio boxing or kickboxing class offered? That is the most popular nowadays. I came here looking specifically for such a class after leaving an expensive Rumble style class. I thought this place being a Y, would offer such a class for far less. What a shame as there does seem to be enough space in the studio too.

The gym is ancient and much of the equipment is limited and beyond repair. The space is far too small to accommodate, especially during peak hours. I waste more time trying to wait for equipment to free up and for people to let others have access. Very disappointing. Whoever is the manager in this place needs to update the gym area with more equipment and establish better rules and policies. There is no enforcement here.

Also, they offer the usual classes you would find at any Y or big box type gym but there is no boxing class? Why? That is probably the most effective and popular class in any gym or boutique fitness facility. There should be one at this place. No reason why it does not exist and I came here specifically due to the close proximity and for access to a boxing based type class. One where they have a heavy bag and some pads to train with a good coach. Not sure why this place does not have such a class already. Shame, since they have a large studio for the silly dance class or barre stuff. We live in a pro-crime city, I would say boxing is more relevant.
As someone who's tried a variety of workout programs and trainers over the years, I have to admit that I was initially skeptical when a friend recommended Eugene and his slow-speed strength training approach. I've always been a fan of high-intensity interval training and fast-paced workouts, so the idea of slowing down and using machine-based exercises didn't sound very appealing. However, after working with Eugene for several months, I have to say that I'm a convert. His expertise, compassion, and focus on proper form have completely changed my perspective on what a workout can be.

From the moment I started working with Eugene, I knew I was in good hands. He took the time to understand my specific needs and goals, and tailored my workout accordingly. His knowledge of exercise science, diet, and anatomy is impressive, and he's always able to explain the "why" behind each exercise.

What I appreciate most about Eugene is his ability to balance pushing me to work harder with providing support and compassion. He knows when to push me to lift heavier and push through the extra reps and work through discomfort, and when to encourage me to take a break or modify an exercise. In addition, Eugene has a great sense of humor. I always look forward to our sessions!

One thing that sets Eugene and his method apart is his specialization in slow-speed strength training. This approach, using specially-designed equipment, has several advantages over traditional strength training methods. I've found that I'm able to see results faster, with less risk of injury or pain. Even when I've had minor injuries or soreness, Eugene has been able to adjust the workout to accommodate my needs. I’m a total convert to the slow method! Give it a try if you haven’t!

Overall, I highly recommend Eugene to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and effective personal trainer. Whether you're new to exercise or a seasoned gym-goer, Eugene will help you achieve your goals in a safe and efficient way.
Missing equipment, not enough equipment; the story of every equinox you’ll ever go to. Catered too much towards the workout class folk and people with $ to spend on personal trainers. Only 3 squat racks, no hack squat, only 2 lat pull down cable machines, no standing calf machine, etc.

Usually go on Saturdays for Lanoa’s classes. She’s really professional and has great energy to keep you motivated throughout. Love that there’s a Strength option (30m run + 15m kettle bells) and just pure running.
Took the SWEAT class with Sarah on a Saturday morning and I loved it! She balanced weights and cardio and keeps the class very high energy. She also makes an effort to remember your name and she will call it out when you are doing a good job. I will definitely be taking this class with her again!

Extremely disappointed in this location. First off, I never see anyone cleaning and its always packed. I used to go to the Long Island location and honestly thought the quality of the city locations would be equal if not better. Wrong! I asked to hang up my coat-they said I need to pay $50/month for a locker. Is this a joke? I pay 300/month for an all access membership and see the trainers 5x a week. One of the elevators also just doesn't work and we were trapped in it for a bit. I told the desk and they were like "yeah we know." Shut the elevator off like really. The equipment is also very old and the trainers are ok at most. Watch the clock-within the span of 2 weeks, they tried to cut me on time 3x with one trying to end as much as 15 minutes early. Had I not advocated for myself, the session would have just ended. At one point, I was made fun of by another member (a 50 year old man) for wearing my casual polo shirt as workout attire-like really what are we 5 years old. Will not be renewing that's for sure

EDIT: The last couple of weeks have been a lot better. It's not even remotely as crowded. Have had better experiences with the trainers etc. Hopefully things trend towards a better direction permanently. Supposedly, there's a new manager who's very on top of things.
I have always been a resistant to go on a treadmill but after trying the treadmills at Mile High, I was blown away. loved the experience and I am completely sold on it. love the fact that the workouts are structured and there is a strength training at the end of the run. something I always lacked in my running schedule.

Fantastic place for any kid that wants to play sports and have fun!!!
The trainers rock. Lockers are kind of small, but there are showers and towels. It’s a push yourself/work at your pace classes. The trainers push you to do your best, but it’s really up to you how fast and hard you go. Definitely beginner friendly, and the trainers make a good job of sharing the motivation. I am a marathoner, but these classes are great when I want to change it up and do something different in my marathon plans (I’ve also come when I’ve been out of shape and it’s been great to getting me back into running as well).
I’m 75, have had 2 hip replacements, and while not athletic, I’ve always been very active. But last spring I started feeling unsteady on my feet. Nothing takes the fun out of a walk in the park like having to ask strangers for a hand going down a few steps. A couple I’m friends with, both bikers and very fit, suggested that maybe I’d like working with their trainer, Eugene Thong, so I gave it a try. After 6 months of working with him, I’m walking in a new way that makes me feel much more confident. My glute muscles have come alive! Overall, I’m feeling much more energetic and positive.

Eugene’s workouts are not your typical exercises. He has deep knowledge of body mechanics and explains why he’s asking me to do something a certain way. I find it helpful to have a mental picture of why I’m doing what I’m doing. The workouts are intense, extremely effective, and amazingly, Eugene makes them fun.

I cancelled my membership in August since I relocated and the staff confirmed it. Two months later my card has been billed $700. I rang in and was told it hadn’t been cancelled but they would do so and refund me if I provide proof of relocation which I did. Two weeks later no response or refund so I presume I’ll be charged another $300. Was thinking of rejoining when I returned but no way!

I have “met” Eugene through my coworker when pandemic started and I needed to get back in shape after my very complicated abdominal surgery to remove my kidney and part of the liver . Half of my abs area was numb and had no feeling at all. I could not get up from bed or the floor without holding on to things . Eugene was very thorough in going through all my medical limitations and goals and created a customized program to improve my overall condition and to target my problem areas . In less than a year not only I was able to get off the floor without holding on , but I went from a 10 second plank to two 60-second planks in a row !
Considering that I have never met Eugene In person and that all the sessions were and still are zoom-based , I am amazed how thorough he is and how well he can see and feel what I need .
Fast forward 2+ years to June 2022 when I fell and broke my left leg in 2 places . Once I came back from the hospital after a two day long stay and a surgery and in a very foul mood… Eugene made sure I was still exercising and kept my spirits up when I was ready to give up . We started with some mild sitting exercises and stretches which helped me physically and mentally . On the days when I didn’t feel like I could go on with my exercise routine or just even log in to our session Eugene would always find a way to convince me to continue and made all possible adjustments to our routine . After my orthopedic surgery I wasn’t able to walk for 6 weeks and was banned from putting any weight on my leg for 2 more weeks after , so we worked on my leg while I was sitting in the chair .. when I went to see my orthopedic surgeon for a checkup he was very impressed with my range of motion and overall condition considering that I was immobile for such a long time . We continued to work with Eugene on my recovery and finally !!! 3 months after I broke my leg I was able to take a trip to Italy and walk 15-20 thousand steps each day up and down the hills !!!

I would strongly recommend Eugene’s services as a personal trainer because he is simply the best ! Not only he is very knowledgeable in how the body and muscles work , he is also very well tempered and patient .

Playing in the 4v4 league is super fun. It’s a high level of play while also allowing for a fair chance for other kids. It’s a very good mix and I am excited for next season
I've been coming to mile high club through classpass, and I absolutely love it! The classes are challenging and rewarding, and the instructors are phenomenal. They are on the floor to help each runner with their form and stride, and even take the time to call out your name for extra motivation. Mile High also offers programs specifically designed for racers and training for marathon/half-marathons.
Took two weeks trial while I was travelling to NY - it’s good place if you like tempo runs . Tread mills are not that great - they can or should upgrade them . Wood way has better models but overl all running always give the good endorphins and good instructors .
I REALLY DO LIKE THIS FITNESS CENTER, THEY HAVE SOME EXTRA EXCLUSIVE EQUIPMENT , THAT I LIKE SUCH AS THE SUPER SQUAT , THEY HAVE A HIP THRUST MACHINE THAT HAS A DEEP ARCH IN IT, PLUS THEIR WEIGHTS ARE IRON, LOVE I ENJOYED THE LOCATION AND THE FRONT DESK REPRESENTATIVE DAMIEN WAS VERY NICE...

It’s impossible to cancel a membership. They leech off of you until they can’t anymore. Don’t do the mistake I did and make sure your membership is actually canceled after you cancel it. The best thing you can do is canceling your credit card.

Edit: I don’t even know they want me to contact them. It’s not like you are going to pay me back or anything. You can look up my name in your system and see.

To put things in perspective, I have the all access membership and this rating is me, comparing the club to the others. There’s nothing luxury about this club. Had a strong nysc vibe. Shower handles are lose, walls looked outdated, steam room was out of service, many machines were out… the list goes on. Oh, and it’s weirdly located on the second floor of a sketchy building. Definitely not worth the money.
When we moved, my almost 2 year old had a gap period in daycare which was really not working from him, you could see he felt lonely and was craving the interaction with other children and some semi-structured play time in a safe and fun environment. We were so lucky to find MyGym. Ms Lauren, Mr Chris and the rest of the staff are amazing, the space is great and clean, and the fun for a toddler is real. My son is so excited everytime we go and even just walking by it makes him smile. Absolutely recommended!
Lauren is a wonderful teacher! I originally thought of tumbling class as a way for my toddler to release energy, but, it turns out, Lauren’s tumbling class is so much more! My son gets to practice listening skills, following directions, transitioning from one activity to the next, waiting for his turn, cheering his peers on, and developing strength. The tumbling class at My Gym has become a very important part of his development. I couldn’t be more pleased with the class and with Lauren.
Great place to work out and get your miles! Not a fan of indoor running if I have to do it on my own, but the coaches are very motivating, clear instructions, music is great too
I took my granddaughter (2.5 years old) to a class at MyGym recently and was very impressed. Liz and Lauren were very accommodating of a personal situation. They were warm and welcoming to Brie and to me. She loved the routine and the challenge of the activities, and I appreciated the encouragement for her to try new things, as well as their focus on cleanliness and safety.
Really average gym, and abysmal hours (shortening the hours during the busiest season, really?). Thinks they can charge the premium just for the name, but they’re going to have to update this location or risk losing customers. Only upside is great front desk staff
I love BSF and have been coming here for a few years now. It's a wonderful training facility and a welcoming community. The quality of the instruction is always on point, whether you train in person or virtually. I love that they require proof of vaccination in order for anyone to train in person without a mask, I really respect and appreciate that as a client especially noticing that many gyms and studios do not have such a requirement. The facility is no frills but has everything you need, and you will always get an awesome and effective workout here. I highly recommend this spot and it is a wonderful local small fitness business to support!

Having some experience with personal trainers -Stephen is by far the best provider I have worked with. His knowledge with strategies and techniques to support my goals have been amazing. He is always prepared to challenge me while understanding the importance between ability and next level achievement. Through weight training , mobility and endurance exercises, stretching and added support with scheduling, diet and motivational guidance Stephen has truly inspired me to not only look good but to feel good!

Stephen was a perfect trainer as I was looking for someone who had the appropriate training to work with people with injuries. I had a herniated disc and Stephen was capable of delivering a real work-out at the same time watching out for my back. It worked very well. I would recommend Stephen to anyone looking for a great personal trainer but especially to those who need to trust someone with their injury.
I visited this location and left disappointed. Although the staff was VERY nice the gym itself was not. There are very little windows, some machines were out of order (stair master, rowing machine), treadmills did not quickly change to the speed desired, mirrors near the stretching areas don’t go all the way down to the floor and there is no spin room. And finally, the locker room looked dirty and outdated (Wallpaper falling off, holes in the wall) it needs to be renovated ASAP.
The trainers are great! They have added quite a few new services like sauna, normatec etc.

Wish the locker rooms were a little bigger, they could use a refresh with more showers and brighter showers.

After suffering an injury while boxing, my entire back locked up and I was not able to get out of bed, rotate my neck, and had sharp pain when rolling over/twisting. To make matters worse, physical therapy was not covered by insurance for a personal injury outside work.

I immediately contacted MedWell fitness. Upon our initial consultation, Steve began with a number of questions while stretching me in unique positions to pinpoint what triggered the injury and where we needed to work to alleviate the pain and recover fully. He was extremely professional to say the least, and worked out with me to make it feel like a team activity.

Over the next few weeks, my flexibility and strength improved fully with his customized workouts and conditioning exercises. I could not be more pleased with the range of motion I had at the end of our program, especially since I had an important physical fitness assessment in the near future.
Overpriced, trainers not very helpful, facility was really just ok. The staff at the reception could definitely have served better. almost seemed like it was their first day at a new job.

Fast Break is amazing! Fun, professional and full of energy. The coaches are the best I’ve seen in any AfterSchool class. They bring out the best in the kids. Coach Roy makes my kid believe in himself and all the other coaches are just amazing at what they do best... play basketball! We recommend it 100%
After trying many different strength and fitness trainers and programs, I am so lucky to have found Eugene. I have been working with him for several years now and I happily travel an hour each way, twice a week, for a 30 minute session with him. Eugene is worth it! He is a curious, smart, incredibly knowledgeable, patient and compassionate trainer. He is truly a student of the body. He knows when to push and when to hold back. He will listen to your short and long term goals and help you achieve them, making all necessary adjustments along the way. He helped me through knee and shoulder injuries and improved my strength and flexibility dramatically. He keeps me healthy and strong enough to enjoy tennis. Don’t hesitate - you’ll be happy to make Eugene part of your life!

Stephen is the best!! He is an excellent personal trainer who knows exactly what is appropriate for your ability and your age. He knows how much to push and when to stop. He also has physical therapy training and can address all aches and pains!! Longest time I have been with a trainer.
No matter what physical condition or ailment you have Eugene will be able to bring you to a higher state of physical fitness with focused personalized training.

In the course of working with Eugene for almost a year, I have achieved a higher state of whole body fitness than I ever have had in the past. In the course of doing so, I have discovered a lifetime of former injuries which have hindered my physical well-being, and Eugene has the knowledge and experience to work with them and around them, bringing me greater functional capabilities, including a better golf game with no back pain and better stamina.

Eugene is able to work with anyone, starting from any starting point of current condition, even me! I never thought I'd ever have the opportunity to gain the physical conditioning I have achieved, and I couldn't be more pleased. It may be a short session, but it's never easy. You'll be glad you go, and be really glad when you recognize the results when doing everyday activities.
Finally a class for runners! I’ve been to a lot of group classes that incorporate treadmill work into the routine, but until coming to Mile High, I never felt like the class was actually about running. The workout was great and appropriate for all levels, Vinnie kept me moving to my capacity and potential, the space is super awesome and clean, and the staff was lovely. I’m already registered for more classes!
Eugene is the best of the best! I have worked with him for the past six years and I have no intention of ever stopping. Eugene is extremely knowledgeable about fitness, nutrition and physical therapy. He get to know his clients very well and he will tailor the workout to your specific needs. With two thirty minute sessions a week, you truly can lose weight, sleep better and feel so much stronger.

I have worked with other specialists in the past, but I have to say Steve is someone I plan on working with for as long as possible. He really knows how to treat people, and he is extremely knowledgeable. It's such a pleasure to train with him. I immediately knew I was working with the right person after our first session. Most importantly, he has helped me see great improvements. I highly recommend Steve and his service to anyone who needs his type of expertise.
