I am beyond thrilled with Arlandria Floors. My original plan was to replace parquet flooring in a condo I'd just bought, but realized it would be more economical and environmentally responsible to refinish them. After getting estimates from a few places, I chose Arlandria Floors based on how detail oriented they were when we walked through the job and their professionalism. Raymond spent a lot of time with me going through options and ideas and recommendations. They weren't the cheapest, but neither were they much more expensive than the least expensive option. It was the right choice--Hector and his crew finished in 2.5 days and left the place cleaner than when they started. No dust, no mess at all. They warned me that I might have to touch up the baseboards after sanding, but they were so careful and precise that it's not necessary. The photos show before/after of the stairs, and the contrast between the dark old stain and the lovely natural color uncovered after sanding. I now love the parquet that's original to the house. Highly recommend.

Hassan is amazing. He is personable and kind. He remembers his clients. For example I purchased carpet and installation from him in 2021. It was an very reasonable price and the installation was quick and efficient. At that time I mentioned how much I liked the rug hanging in the wall behind his desk. Fast forward 3 years and my husband and I are discussing new floors. We call Hassan and he remembers my name and that I was getting married and that I loved the rug! Three years later! That being said we bought the rug and one other and will be purchasing flooring from him as well. Really this company is remarkable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for new floors or carpets.

Hassan is professional, knowledgeable and very personable. His carpet installers showed up today on-time and began installation. I had a few questions which Oscar answered pleasantly and completely. This is the 4th time we have worked with Hassan at Five Star Flooring. And this time, again, we are pleased with the experience, the pricing, the work and the finished carpet installation. Five Star Flooring definitely met and exceeded our expectations! Recently had basement installation of Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring installed and it's beautiful. Hassan's customer service exceeded 5 stars should be called 10 Star Flooring. Install crew was outstanding. Very happy from beginning to end with this project!

Five Star Flooring did a fantastic job replacing our carpet with hardwood floor throughout our master bedroom and hallway. Mr. Hassan and his team were professional, punctual, and very responsive. We also used Five Star Flooring when we redid our finished basement and it looks perfect. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with 5 Star Flooring. We had our master bedroom switched from carpet to laminate wood. The pricing was very fair and affordable compared to other local companies. They arrived right on time. The installation was quick and efficient. If we need flooring repaired or replaced in the future we will be coming back for sure. Mr Hassan’s unbelievable customer service. His worker was having issues with the install Mr Hassan took it upon him self came by on the job site and fixed the problem after hours after 5pm. Attention to details is what he expect that is why I keep going back. Thank you Sir for a great job at my new house. I highly recommend for his fair pricing and personal service.

Used Arlandria Flooring to replace / upgrade flooring after water damage destroyed some of our existing flooring. They removed the old floor, prepped the subfloor, and installed new flooring over the course of about a week while we were still living in the space. I don't recommend living through a floor replacement if there's a reasonable option not to, but it's hard to see how anyone else could have managed the project better than Arlandria. Not everything always went straight according to plan--a lot of things have to go right to get the job done--but they were extremely good at adapting the plan to unexpected contingencies to get the project done efficiently and on-time. The crews were very good at what they do--the demolition, the prep, and the installation. They seem very invested in getting all of the details right, and we're very happy to have used them for this project.

My floors are beautiful! I am so happy with the quality of work in my home. I had such a wonderful time working with Sam, who went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure I received top quality work and follow up attention. I did not have the most pleasant in-store experience with the staff, but I would work Sam all day and every day. Also after quite a few price comparisons, Arlandria Floors came in at the most competitive price and I was not surprised with any hidden charges or fees later. If you need your floors redone, go with Arlandria Floors!

Worked with Hassan for new carpeting for one part of my house and, on a separate occasion, new hardwood. He is professional, detailed, genuine, and just truly a kind person.

He was engaged during the consultations and helped us pick what we wanted to meet our intent. The work was done swiftly and looks fantastic and the pricing felt fair and transparent.

I worked with the team at Arlandria Floors to replace wall to wall carpet in a large 1970s condominium apartment. From beginning to end, members of the team - Ozzie, Matt, Erich, and all the installers - were well informed, straightforward, and detail-oriented.

Never having put in new hardwood, carpet, and sheet vinyl in any home I've owned, I was very nervous about everything. However, the ordering and installation went great, and the new flooring is absolutely beautiful.

I walked in about an Hour before closing with pictures & ideas of what I wanted to get and wanted a second opinion / assistance. Also wanted to touch the products I wanted to get before purchase to make sure I liked them IRL and not just online. I STRONGLY suggest going elsewhere - I walked in was greeted, another employee came from the back and offered assistance, I told her I had pictures and products I needed assistance with, and she said while I pull them up she'd be right back. She never came back & 20 minutes later as I'm about to leave I see her and the gentleman behind the counter giggling at the computer. Do not spend your money where you are not appreciated. I walked right out and didn't spend a dime on things that I was more than happy to purchase that they had I've been assisted. If I didn't want in person assistance, I would have just ordered online.

Purchased hard wood stairs from here and asked to match our current floor color and not only did it not match what so ever but the sanding job done by them is horrific. When contacting the owner I was yelled at and hung up on even after he agreed the sanding was not done correctly. He has refused to help us in any way. Definitely do NOT recommend doing any business with these people.

Will not be back. West elm overall is one of my favorite stores. Scheduled an in home design appointment, got multiple confirmation texts and emails including the morning of. No one showed up. I called the store, a guy answered staying we're not doing those right now and that I needed to change my tone.

For reference, I was pretty annoyed but did not curse or say anything out of turn. Put me on hold multiple times for long periods. No real apology, just said "we apologize, that was on us" but with no real sense of remorse. These places and their raggedy customer service expecting someone to want to spend hundreds or thousands in your store for half "bleep" service. I'm good sir, I will not be back. I have spent literally thousands at west elm but will drive to Tysons vs. Come here. You all need customer service training immediately.

Ordered 2 chairs in January and rug to match that showed in stock. About a month later we get an email that said one of the chairs would be arriving at later date do to it now being on back order. We called customer service to see what was going on. They said that one of the chairs would arrive in a month and that both chairs would ship together. We waited another month and received an email that chair was going to be another month back ordered. We called customer service and had to basically beg just to get them to ship one of the chairs. It is now May and the chair is delayed again with customer service only offering to cancel the order and not giving any firm date on delivery. We ended up cancelling the order and returning the chair that was delivered a deceptive company doesn’t deserve money from anyone.
Their corporate customers service is TERRIBLE!!!!

I ordered the chairs on October 16 with an estimated delivery of November 3. I picked them up when they were “ready “December 2 that is not timely in any sense. The original sales agent that said these are going to be available for Thanksgiving clearly doesn’t know how delayed the actual shipping is by West Elm. I would say the estimates are a blatant lie having been fooled twice ordering a table and now the chairs I cannot recommend ordering anything from West Elm that isn’t available in the store at that moment. The staff in the store is handcuffed to customer service center because it all of defers to the online/HQ, making them basically intermediary. The chairs took so long to ship that they lowered the price for BlackFriday but wait! West Elm doesn’t price match themselves. Nothing against the actual staff but the company is a hard pass on being competent. Don’t believe any of the shipping times.

Carly was very helpful today. She ensured we had the right color for all of our items. She was very friendly and came to ask if we needed assistance right away. She also pointed out some really great clearance items that matched my design style! Very nice experience. We love the mid century modern style and all of our furniture we have has lasted well. Love our clearance rug! Such a great price.

May 2024: Just an update that this company’s work has made me hate the bathroom they tiled. See the pictures for how absolutely awful their work was. Grout has faded and fallen out, tiles are crooked, gaps are uneven - just absolutely worse than novice DIY quality. Words can be made to sound pretty but it’s hard to argue against pictures. Terrible end result.

October 2020: After getting what I considered a good price, I'm very disappointed in the workmanship of Arlandria Floors' work. They showed up two separate days without the needed materials, and their finished product looks like I DIY'ed it for the first time. There's uneven grout lines, grout that's missing entirely, unexplanable small tiles, messy cut marks, and a general messy look about the project. I certainly do not recommend them for tile work.

If I could give this a negative star, I would. I spent 2 hours picking out the perfect sofa and spent $6000. Then the delivery company completely messed up the shipping. To make things worse, the sofa finally arrived only for me to realize that the sales associate at the store ordered the wrong one. I had to place a new order and spent another $4000 and wait again. Now I come to find out that that they cancelled another order my accident and I have to order that again too. There is no accountability at this store or on a corporate level. How many mistakes can one company make? Simply awful. Do not buy anything from here.

Our experience with Arlandria this summer was not good. We had to have the team come back to the home three times to fix a broken board as well as put back together our closet.

I’ve attached images of the cracked board we asked to have replaced, plus the first attempt at fixing it.

A few days after the project was completed, we noticed a bolt was missing from one of our toilets and water was leaking on the new floors. We also had a broken light fixture and water damage on basement walls. All of these became additional expenses for us after working with Arlandria.

We really had to advocate to have this project done correctly. It was exhausting. Having dealt with several other contractors for our new home in the last few months, our experience with Arlandria has been the most frustrating to date.

Staff is really helpful and kind until something goes wrong with your order, twice. Then it suddenly becomes really difficult to get in touch with employees from the store despite spending almost $2000 for a coffee table, rug, and a couple end tables. Be warned before purchasing from this store.

I was in this store for a good amount of time and no one bothered to greet me I finally asked for a help and one of the lady ask the other one to help me. She makes it clear that she doesn't want me in that store. She was forcing herself to answer my questions. I have had bad customer service experience before but this one is more like a hate. One of the most disturbing experience I had. I also feel sorry for her to have this much hate for someone she never seen before.

Arlandria Floors did an amazing job for what was not an easy project. We asked them to match an existing carpet, which was no longer being made -- they found it somehow -- and use a combination of the carpet and tile across the main part of our basement to create the impression of different rooms in one space. Raymond was incredibly helpful and the project went very smoothly and wound up being very cost-effective. It also looks great - we are thrilled!

Arlandria floors was fantastic and really helped me out in a pinch. I was finishing a project and realized that the shoe molding I needed to match was an odd size. I went to 7 different stores—big box stores as well as flooring specialists—before going to Arlandria floors. Everyone else I visited told me that the size I needed (3/4 x 3/4 shoe molding) did not exist and I’d have to accept a different size that wouldn’t transition well. Arlandria was able to give me exactly what I needed and the results were fantastic. Justin was extremely helpful. Pics of final product below. They custom made a perfect size and color match for me.
