I had the pleasure of buying a little affordable piece here and they were great. They had a lot of art I’d like to have, and were very friendly. I would definitely recommend if in Sante fe. They had things for everyone.
I have long wanted to visit this shop, and don't often get to Santa Fe; but what a treat to finally step in this past week... the treasures! The women running the shop were just so wonderful, and fun, and welcoming whether we were to buy or not. But I did, a little trinket for my daughter, the Egyptian fly charm (I had a golden metal one when she was a wee one that she loved), I bought it in sterling which is what she prefers). I will be back to treat myself in September.

Wife and I visited the beautiful Santa Fe New Mexico on our 40th Anniversary and visited this store. Nice products with very substantial prices.Sal was very polite and good salesman .We purchased a ring at a discount and received the ring appraisal a few months later.It will become a family heirloom .
I want to give a big shout out to Sal. My husband had purchased a beautiful diamond and turquoise ring for me 12 years ago at Gold House when we were visiting Santa Fe. Unfortunately we had some issues with the turquoise but Sal said he would take care of it and repair it so we would not have any further issues with it. Well he did just that and had it overnighted to our home after we got home from vacation. It's as beautiful as the day we purchased it. We couldn't be more pleased with the customer service we received and would highly recommend this business.
Excellent art gallery spread over two floors, with an array of art. Jewelry, sculptures, paintings and when we were there they were featuring the photographs of David Yarrow.

I recently had my ROL ring repaired at SFGW.I just have to let you all know how absolutely thrilled I am with my ring! The skill of the craftsman with the intricate work involved along with the color of stones selected are spectacular! The original purchase of my ring as well as this repair to replace all fire opals and straightening the prongs for the center diamond were both done long distance, with complete trust in your staff. This gallery is a definite must-visit on Canyon Rd. Mike and Mark are welcoming, personable, and friendly. We enjoyed hearing about their personal journeys that resulted in them establishing this fine gallery. It's obvious they enjoy what they do, and are eager to share the world of art with any curious minds. I was so thrilled to walk in and be helped by Rocki. She was so warm and genuine. I left with some great things to add to my collection and feeling valued as a customer. My 5 strand signature Rocki beads are my very favorite piece of jewelry!
My husband designed an engagement ring with them. I did not like it. He encouraged me to bring it in and ask if it could be changed. I was hesitant - I was worried about being judged. And I was right to worry. The salesperson was extremely judgemental. We were both perfectly nice. I didn't insult the ring or the store. I just said it wasn't my style. But they still made me feel terrible for even asking the question. It was just a high anxiety time for me, and they made it that much worse. It still hurts years later.

There is a cultural conflict that if they could resolve would make them a five-star store in Santa Fe. They seem to think that if they start the price very high and cut it down to about half that they will get the sale. I’m sure it works but it is a strike against them and their reputation. It’s a gimmick that comes from other countries that doesn’t work so well in the US. People like to not feel the heavy sales pitch or the gimmicky price drop. Americans want to know they are getting a good price for a good product and not have to question if they are being cheated. Once you purchase from them, however, they become more genuine and extremely helpful. We really like these people and wish them all the best. I hope they read these reviews and can learn better ways to approach their sales. I do sincerely hope that they succeed here, not only in sales, but in reputation..

It takes no time at all to become a friend of the gallery. After one visit, you'll want to return whenever you're in the city enchanted to see the amazing jewelry (you can never have too many dangles), try on to your heart's content (did I mention how nice everyone is?) and visit with an incredible group of women.
Such a an authentic and wonderful experience. As soon as you walk in the door you are warmly greeted and the sales associates are just a wealth of knowledge. The jewelry is very well crafted and I have bought a number of unique and beautiful pieces which I cherish to this day. I highly recommend anyone looking for quality to pay a visit.

I had the best experience shopping here! I went in intimidated by the jewelry buying process but was quickly set at ease by SFG’s Sam Escue. Not only is Sam incredibly knowledgeable, he is also very patient. I asked many, many questions over the course of my visit to the store and each one was met with an informative answer, delivered in a kind way. As someone who usually only shops online, experiencing this quality customer service made me realize how comfortable and fun in-store shopping can be. I look forward to returning to SFG for future purchases!

Lovely store. Well organized, absolutely has character and charm. Lovely gift items. Many tempting items for yourself. Tasteful garments. Stunning Native American Jewelry that are literal works of art. The only problem is you want multiple pieces! The work is so beautiful it is hard to choose. Such a diverse group of handbags and accessories. The staff is knowledgeable , so personable, professional. I will be returning as Susan was at lunch when I arrived. She is my go to specialist when I am craving a new piece of Rocki Gorman jewelry. Stop in or xall or shop on line. All are a wonderful experience. But if you are near Santa Fe or in Town, it is a must to stop in and shop. 10 stars.

Bought a ring, high pressure in store to buy, overly priced but went down drastically. It's a beautiful ring. However, at time of purchase, I was told appraisal would be mailed in about a week with a value of almost twice of what I paid. That was five months ago and I call and he (owner) assures me he will do but I have never gotten it after call attempts. I recommend to go somewhere else, since my experience was nothing but shady.

I received these beautiful earrings in the mail yesterday and I could not be happier! Britt, Kerstin, Wanda, & Susan helped me at different times, yet Wanda was especially helpful & extremely patient with me: talking me through what I wanted and keeping in touch with me long distance. She was a joy to work with!!! This combination started out with purchasing the ring and adding some diamonds that I already had along with their diamonds and a Ruby. I have worn this ring almost everyday sense!!! It is so comfortable to wear due to how they squared off the bottom side. My husband encouraged me to have earrings made to match. The ring and the earrings are interesting, beautifulI, unique & certainly treasured!!! I LOOVE them both very much & appreciate the wonderful experience we had🥰💝
Whenever we're in Santa Fe, NM we always stop by Gusterman's with the guarantee that we'll find something truly beautiful to buy. A few years back I bought a pair of earrings that were no longer clasping shut. Being that I'm a good 1,500 miles away, I sent them an email with a picture of my troubled earrings. I got a quick response and with just one phone call, Wanda was able to successfully walk me through the delicate repair process. Now that's a full service jeweler! They stand behind everything they sell! Wanda told me that if I couldn't do the repair, that I could send the earrings back for them to do. I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful store! I came across this gallery online before our trip to Santa Fe and was very excited to visit the actual location. We were not disappointed in any way. The gallery was very welcoming and easy to navigate with everything displayed beautifully. We were greeted by art advisor Antonia Quast and embarked on a fabulous exploration of the gallery. She was very knowledgeable about the art, artists, and history of the pieces. She was a joy to talk to and we left not only with a great piece of art but an enjoyable and educational experience. We cannot wait for our next visit.

Really beautiful gallery that continues to surprise you as you explore it. I continued to discover new rooms with an amazing collection of contemporary art styles and bronze sculptures with a truly knowledgeable staff. I feel like I was able to attend a small chautauqua on bronze sculpting. The curator we spoke with was able to offer such detail into the artists and pieces within the gallery. It's absolutely worth a visit if you are in town.

Interested in a necklace hanging on a wooden post for over a thousand dollars, (?) the polite salesman brought the piece down half price. I took the bait but now regret it. I have doubts that even the purchase price at half off is fair. Doubling the price of jewelry may prove to be a profitable marketing technique, but I remain unconvinced as to the quality of the silver, weight, craftsmanship, etc. I will not shop there again.

We love this store and shop there every time we go to Santa Fe, it's right across the street from our favorite hotel. The artisan jewelry selection is very good, and prices are fair. Some of my favorite silver and stone pieces are from there. We've also purchased beautiful glass items. The owners were proactive during the shut downs in 2020 and called us to see if we needed anything. I appreciated their effort, and look forward to returning to thank them in person.
Their “lifetime “ warranty means that if something goes wrong with your purchase, they will repair it for a significant charge. Too many other jewelry stores in Santa Fe to shop this place. Buyer beware and avoid.
I stopped by the shop in June after looking up stores while visiting on my road trip. Knowing that the pieces are designed and created in-house is really great, and a different experience than just going to a jewelry store that's buying wholesale designer jewelry you can get anywhere. The greatest salesperson, Dawna, helped me and instantly picked up on styles that caught my eye. Dawna educated on turquoise as well. She showed me some great examples of custom work that can be done- really high quality work and I am thrilled for any bridea choosing Santa Fe Goldworks for their wedding pieces. I chose this beautiful ring that reminds me of the Earth and my road trip through New Mexico and called it my anniversary present a week early. I wouldn't find a piece like this in any other place and I wear it every day. I encourage anyone visiting to stop by and look at the incredible and unique pieces. They were doing brisk business for a reason, and Dawna was highly professional, considerate, and friendly. I hope to call for a custom piece one day!
Hands down the best place for silver jewelry in Santa Fe. We had so much fun picking out our cool matching anniversary rings. The silver smith even adjusted the sizes for us right on the spot. A MUST if you are in Santa Fe!!

I saw this place because of their billboard ad on my way to Santa Fe from Albuquerque and as a picky jewelry-maker myself was surprisingly intrigued by the brightly colored, high-quality gemstones and high-karat yellow gold in magnificent, Egyptian-inspired settings. They currently have a 6 person limit with a cute, little, locked Dutch door that they have to let you into. Joan assisted me and was wonderful to converse with. It's so nice to feel like you're on the same page with the shop-keeper. She was lovely and the jewelery made me want to drool and eat it all up, as it's so incredible and there's so much of it, in a really small, adorable space. I took about three cards and will bring any visitors back there. I love their concepts of layering and the inspiration for the designs is truly unique and right up my alley. I only wish I had the money to BUY it ALL!!!
They told me the lacquered wood piece “Angel” was $1100. I ended up buying a similar piece from them for $1300 which they originally told me was $1900. I left with my purchase feeling like I got a great deal but when I got home I found the same Angel piece on Wayfair for $240. I feel pretty cheated now. That said the artwork is incredibly beautiful.

I can't praise Gold House enough for their outstanding customer service and they certainly stand by their guarantee that they will repair your ring if it is damaged. I just had my ring fixed that I purchased in 2004. When I recieved it back it was absolutely amazing. It looked like a brand new ring. I recently contacted The Gold House to have a ring I purchased there fifteen years ago repaired (chipped opals) and consider a possible stone upgrade. I worked with Christina, who was absolutely amazing! The repairs were done, free of charge, and she worked with me to find the perfect diamond within my budget. My husband and I had just purchased a home in Albuquerque, which we need to decorate of course! We decided on a trip to Santa Fe upon hearing wonderful things about the art scene. We stumbled upon this gallery and stopped in. WHAT A MISTAKE. We found a painting we liked, but my husband and I had to use the restroom. I was sitting waiting for him when this lady came up to me and VERY rudely asked “Is your FRIEND okay” (keep in mind he was in there for 5 minutes not 30) I was so taken aback all I could say was “um I think so” She actually went back and jiggled the handle of the door! Needless to say being treated like a low-life drug addict turned us off and we bought a painting elsewhere.
We absolutely adore the ring Anthony picked out with Sarah. She showed us how to change out the pearl and he loves wearing it with amethyst. I can't wait to come back and pick one out, too!
BE CAREFUL! INVESTIGATE before you buy! Unfortunately, I did not, and I paid $500 for a varnished wood sculpture that the artist sells for $250 on his web site. The sales person gave me free shipping as does the artist. BE CAREFUL!

Our families connection to the Axton’s goes back generations. Connie is a delight and we love going through her gallery every time we visit. Richardson’s and Axton’s are the highlight here.
Easily the most talented staff in Santa Fe in the jewelry industry. With knowledgeable sales staff and full time local master goldsmiths (plural) in house and on call, they provide trust and confidence with any request need; and then there's the sales staff people and the owner and master goldsmith, local guy David Griego, who all have the answers you may have. Every piece seems to have a story. Every piece is designed and created downstairs. They even repaired my eyeglasses, after a couple of other high-end shops either declined, or gave up after a couple of pricey attempts. They have had to say "No" once or twice but I admit that is admirable.

I filled out their "contact me" form online and someone phoned me within minutes, super friendly & answered all of my questions. Now that is great service! The following day I visited this store to exchange sizes in a ring that my boyfriend bought me at the associated store in Germany. I live in Austin so I obviously couldn't fly all the way to Germany to exchange & see the other products so I made a trip to Santa Fe while visiting family in the area. At the Charlotte shop in Santa Fe, Sarah was very helpful. She caught on to my style immediately and not only did I get a smaller band that fit, she sold me a few other interchangeable items that worked very well together. I am not a big spender and she was not pushy (I despise fake/pushy salespeople!). She was genuine & warm, easy to talk to & work with. Shop was beautiful & clean, and the jewelry matched that. What an unexpectedly wonderful experience. I will definitely be back for more.

The BEST silversmith ever!! The quality and thoughtfulness in her designs impeccable. I purchased very small, silver loop earrings, I wish I bought more of them, and they are always impossible to latch, but not Susan's, she added hinges to them for easy handling. I love this artist!
I went to the X'mas cowboy in Las Vegas, stopped on booth number 411 to see Rocki's jewelry, stood there for 10 min. and the designer Rocki ignored me all that time, she was speaking to a friend or customer, glanced at me and kept talking to her friend/customer, there was a lady with white hair and a blonde that was doing absolutely nothing but chit chatting in a corner, I was going to buy the turquoise squash blossom necklace but she chose to ignore me, I might've look like if I was poor, but believe me Rocki, I'm wealthier than you, you lost a customer. Rude people!
Read the fine print on the receipt they had you as their no refund policy is not articulated in person. My husband and I went into this store and purchased a replacement wedding band and a necklace. While we are thrilled with the wedding band, the necklace notsomuch. I sent an email to the Manager, Sarah who forwarded my complaint to the owner who inadvertently responded to me insinuating that I had buyer's remorse and used very disparaging language about a customer he had never met. I was offended and appalled. I was advised they had a no-refund policy and would have to exchange the necklace or accept a store credit. We were not verbally advised of a no-refund policy but it is on the receipt which is inserted into a little envelope at the conclusion of the purchase. The clasp on the necklace was unmanageable and I did not find a suitable replacement. The unprofessional response from the owner did nothing to endear them to me and I just wanted to be done with them. While they did make an "exception" to their policy, they charged over $250 as a restocking fee. The necklace had been worn approximately 1 hour before falling off repeatedly. I cannot recommend any store that does not put customer satisfaction first. READ THE FINE PRINT! If you have a problem with any of your purchases, trying to return it for a refund will not go well. Buyer Beware!

The glass crafted items they sell are so pretty and surprisingly within budget. I really like this place and have purchased here 3-4 times over the last few years when I visit Santa Fe.
Visited Santa Fe in 2009, and purchased a turquoise inlay with gold band. They took the diamond off my existing wedding ring (24 years old) and put it on the new turquoise band, had it ready by dinner time that day, and it was just the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen...
We were back in Santa Fe in October 2013 and took my wedding ring back to them since it was getting kind of banged up and I had discolored a few of the pieces of turquoise. We left the ring with them for the repairs, and they sent it back to us in Texas all beautiful and shiny and it was like a completely brand new ring again!!
While still in their shop in October 2013, we also purchased some new turquoise inlay with silver - necklace, earrings and bracelet. Very nice.
They are friendly and their prices are within reason. The workmanship of their jeweler is tremendous, and we will definitely go back when we visit Santa Fe again!
