Such an amazing experience! Took the wife to go see Arsenic and an Old Lace and it was such a magical time. The theater was large and clean, although I wish the seats were a bit more comfortable.
Such an amazing small theatre. I volunteer there quite frequently and to see the behind the scenes work of each play really helps me appreciate it more. They do great work and even have a decent intermission area with food, drinks, and local art.

Interesting student and faculty exhibits. Enjoyed Seeing Plants and the cardboard creations. Ceramic exhibit is wonderful.
What a dump. I mean I get some theater have to be rustic chic but this is not it. Good luck finding parking.
Great venue, makes the plays very immediate & present. Actors are fascinating, very good (especially considering they are all working purely for the love of theater and not, say, money). Very community-oriented programming. Concessions are limited but decent.

Stopped in to see the "endless bridge" which is neither a bridge nor endless. Nice views of the surrounding area though. Also the yellow room is interesting. Really nice views of the city but I'm not sure why the windows are all tinted yellow? Looks like a great place to see a play though.

It was my first experience with the Guthrie and it was amazing! From the moment we entered the theater I could see why! That escalator ride alone was awesome! We were there to see A Christmas Carol and the show was just simply awesome!

As always another fantastic presentation of a Christmas Carol this was the third different production of this play I have seen at the Guthrie it would be hard to pick a favorite. My lady friend had never been here she so enjoyed this she made me promise to bring her back. I love that we have a top notch play house here in Minnesota
I went to go see she kills monsters which is a good play what I was disappointed about was the main character Tilly’s actor having to use a script at another part in the play she also makes a joke about SA not cool at all. Not to mention calling a lesbian character the L word which is a slur.
My husband and I went to see smokus pocus. The theater is on the smaller scale, but nonetheless still very beautiful, nice seating.

I gotta say, this is a place colorful, crazy and a little scary. I never knew that there was a long escalator in Guthrie Theater. I don’t know too much about this place. But overall great gift shop! And on the ninth floor I didn’t notice a small glass floor and I sometimes get the fear of stepping on a glass floor lol.
Lovely theater and phenomenal shows. Support your local artists.
Beautiful place can't wait to try there new place with pizza
Jenny Johnson somehow magically goes from advisor position at MPLS Foundation to Chair at the Council on Foundations after helping my Uncle remove me from my family's account after my father died. So My uncle gets ~10m after changing my grandmothers estate from GSTs to CRUTs while she was 90 & in memory care & my father had a broken neck & the Foundation gets ~5m after he dies & I get none of my Grandmothers money but Jenny gets a massive promotion.

No one managing my grandmother Amy Knopfs estate had even met her & my uncle never visited while my father and I visited her all the time in Friendship village yet Jenny and the People at the foundation want to tell me what she wanted.

It's quite the jaw dropping insult.

The Guthrie Theater is not only nationally renowned, it’s a local treasure in my humble opinion. The building itself is architecturally stunning, with the crowning feature being the “Endless Bridge” (shown most clearly in the exterior, daytime photo included with this review.) The bridge provides gorgeous views of the Mississippi River, the Stone Arch Bridge and the surrounding Mill District.

We’ve been to the Guthrie many times over the years, but most recently we saw “Into the Woods,” which was a wonderful rendition of Stephen Sondheim’s musical.
(The nighttime photos and video on this post show the views from the Endless Bridge during the intermission around 8:30pm on a summer evening.)

“Into the Woods” was performed on the Wurtele Thrust Stage, or the thrust stage. It’s named that because of how it reaches or thrusts out into the audience. It’s also the same stage where we enjoy “A Christmas Carol” at the Guthrie each and every holiday season. There’s not a bad seat in the house when it comes to the thrust stage. The entire space feels intimate and the cast does a wonderful job performing to each angle of the theater, so no guest feels like they are getting any less of a show.

Tickets prices are what you would expect for high-quality theater. As such, it’s a special occasion visit for us, maybe two times per year. But we look forward to those visits all year.

A beautiful building at a now great location. Plenty of places to walk to from here and picnic before you see a play there. A venue I look forward to going to again.
The course is being "revitalized" and seems unplayable at this time due to large earth-moving machines everywhere. No worries, we were there for an event. The space worked well and the staff were great. The food was just outright incredible.

I just visited, I didn't see a show but the building is incredible and the views are spectacular of the Mississippi, Saint Anthony Falls, and the Stone Arch bridge. Also the views of the Mills are fantastic. The overhang is a beautiful relaxing place to sit down and enjoy the scenery. The Amber room on the 9th floor is how to describe, it is a must-see. Admission is free to look.
Beautiful country club. Very warm and friendly staff. Amazing food.

This is a wonderful intimate Theatre celebrating its 71st year! I haven't been to a performance here in 25+ years. I recall my parents attending performances here with friends back in the 1970s. A near-full house attending Agatha Christie "Who done it" Mysteries in December and "The Book Club [Play]" by Karen Zacarius.

Happy to have rediscoverer Theatre in the Round. Fun Evenings!

My favorite theater in the Twin Cities area! Love the look and feel, love the history, and LOVE the dressings rooms. Please do yourselves a favor and see a show here this season.

Nonprofit providing basic needs for teens and young adults, like a hot meal, shower, clothes, and toiletries. The building is well-kept and clean. The staff cares about the clients.
The Southern is an awesome proscenium stage venue! There’s not a bad seat in the house! I recently saw Kaleena Miller Dance here and the tap dancers were amazing! Parking in 7 Corners is easy if you are willing to pay at the Holiday Inn close by. The Town Hall Tavern next door is a tasty spot to have a beer and dinner before or after the show. Plus their marquee is a treat!

The gallery is open to the public. Visitors receive badges and can roam the galleries and some student and art lab spaces. Exhibits vary considerably. Depending on the exhibit, some may not be appropriate for children. Staff and students are welcoming.

Living with friends might be better than living here. I remember being rushed signing a lease. Lorna (I think the property manager, I can’t remember) is liked by some people, but she was the rudest most unprofessional woman there. She made me so uncomfortable. I remember I never had a set appointment time as I told Frankie I was coming after work without a set schedule, but that it would for sure be before 5:00 pm. She made a rude comment when I got there about being late..... umm nobody even gave you a time so what was she even talking about ?? I was there at 4:30 maybe a little earlier. That was the first red flag. When discussing me moving in I was promised they would help me find parking since they only offer parking for STAFF that WORK there. So at my apartment building downtown, they prioritize their staff over people who actually live there. I’m not giving up my car as I had to live in it at one point. I literally had to pay for street parking every day. They never helped me figure out parking and said I needed to figure it out myself after I signed the lease. I was only allowed to park there from 5pm-8am, which they later changed their minds and said 7pm-8am. One morning I woke up late by accident, LORNA CALLED THE TOWING COMPANY AND HAD MY CAR REMOVED AT 8:12 AM. She didn’t call, didn’t come to my door and ask that I move it, she just did it. Knowing I’m already struggling with my life to be there in the first place. She was always a horrible woman to me. I really don’t know how she’s able to act like that and remain an employee.

Also get ready to deal with 3 other people you might not like. Music all night long, crazy roommates, relationship drama between everyone there. And COCKROACHES. I remember waking up one time in the night to my roommate boiling chemicals on the stove, she locked her door and the apartment was smoked out. My other roommate slept downstairs and I slept in a spare room used for therapy, sleeping on a bench since it was so smoked out.

BTW, good luck having any guests over literally ever.

I don’t have much good to say about this place. It LOOKS nice, but it’s entirely a hot mess.

I attended a wedding in October 2021. There wasn’t an option for a coat check, so I used a coat rack in their entryway. When I left, a similar coat was near where mine should have been, I assumed someone grabbed the wrong item. This person called to report the mistake and promised to drop it off that weekend. It’s been months. No coat, and the club doesn’t have any extras in lost and found. Did they return and pick up their actual jacket? Probably. I consider mine stolen.

I blame the club for failing to take the guest’s contact info to follow up and providing adequate, secure storage. I’ve called multiple times since then. Not once did they properly address the situation by offering to reimburse. I loved that coat.

In 1996 I became a homeless teen in Minneapolis. At the time youth link was called project Offstreets. These people do care!!!! They tried to help me but it was not my time. Even though I did not change my life at that time this place always made sure I was safe, fed, and met all my human needs!!!!’ I will forever be grateful for what this organization does for our youth!!!!! Homeless people care humane too!!!
Beautiful country club on all levels. From the golf course to the banquet hall, everything was a plus. The self parking was really close to the clubhouse, so if you don’t feel like paying for valet it’s no big deal
I mean... what more can you say about Interlachen. It's perfection! It was 40 yrs ago when I first came up the long beautiful driveway entrance... for the first time and still remains great and serene and calm and classy.

I used to refer people in need to House of Charity all the time last year when in LE. The place was a community of those in need helping those in need. The staff was amazing and Wesley (I think was his name) always had a smile and a place to sleep. I am disappointed that since the new board took it over that every corner has been cut and that even the juice is watered down. Why does this happen to the people in need? Someone with more money exploits those in need. I'm sure there is a reason St. Stephens needs a board with 19 people while those who have nothing need just a bed.
Horrible & Unethical management, It is run for profit internally. The person with the 5 star review works for them as verifiable by Facebook. Avoid.

So I get this place is to help homeless youth but what I don’t get is why I would have to completely be homeless to access a music studio? Like I was turned away the second I said I wasn’t completely homeless but I know many people who go there for the studio but have jobs and have stable housing. This place is a joke honestly they even went as far as making fake reviews to better their image.

I have been to the Guthrie Theater many times over the years and enjoyed the views from the different areas of the theater that are open to the public.

Recently I saw my first performance there, and it was A Christmas Carol. I was blown away by the production!!

Everything about the show was incredible. The performers were all great, the wardrobe was very impressive, and how the sets looked and transitioned from one scene to the next was all top notch.

I will be seeing more performances here for sure!!

There is art here. And the bathrooms in the NE corner are great for selfies. There are also art students here. Wild.
Had a great time with my son experiencing Taiko drumming for the first time. The theater is old full of character, which we both thought was cool (some might see it as run down). The seats were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Simple and quaint.

A wonderful time i jus th love meeting new people!
A world class club in every respect. It's a good challenge but you won't feel beat up afterward. Caddies were extremely knowledgeable. Clubhouse and pro shop staff are friendly & professional. If you love great golf and great service, you'll love this club.
Id just like to say, most of these reviews are fake ppl just put 5 stars to pit 5 stars. Youthlink has a low rate of youth who get out and stay out due to help from the program. Most of the time youth are just sitting around doing nothing closer to a park community center than a youth service. Don't believe all the hype this place may have improved their exterior but there is so much to be done internally. This program needs help.

An amazing experience every time I get the opportunity to visit. Make sure you check out the beautiful golf course, the luxurious pool side lounging, and if you can, make sure to plan for Easter Sunday brunch. It was so good I forgot to take pictures before I started eating!
We just had our staff retreat on Friday, February 16th at McKnight and it was wonderful. Everything was perfect. I want to say a BIG THANKS to Rita who was very welcoming, accommodating and very gracious in helping us with the pre-arrangements and also on the day of our retreat. We at Minnesota Education Equity Partnership are very thankful for the great hospitality and look forward to returning very soon!
Wonderful theater, I saw their 545th performance which was Ionesco's Rhinoceros. I didn't know this is the oldest play house in the twin cities, I plan to return often as I love theatre in the round where the audience goes all the way around the stage.
This is a great organization that funds many different nonprofits in Minnesota. Beautiful space overlooking the Mississippi River. Has a rotating art gallery in the lobby. I wish I had that view for work! Attended a conference at this location. Staff was very accommodating with having space for a nursing room.

To all landlords: do not do business with this organization! They take no active effort, outside of their initial a lot of time, to deal with the tenants that they put on to you. Most of the tenants can barely afford the rent outside of aid due to their complete and utter lack of responsibility. And then when this organization promises to rectify the matter they completely fall through and beginning ignoring your emails and calls.

My team and I were using their conference rooms, which can be reserved for free, to do work. The conference rooms are very spacious and they provide plenty of amenities for us including beverages, etc. The people are very welcoming to and willing to help. Oh and the view from the mill ruins looking out to the Mississippi and Stone Arch Bridge is phenomenal. I highly recommend using their space if you ever need to work on a team project or need space for a meeting.

A great Gallery hidden in the Seward Neighborhood in an old converted warehouse. I attended almost every opening over the last 10 years and am always surprised by what show they have up. I highly recommend going as you never know what you will see. Wide range of artists and media. I have never been disappointed with a show and I have bought pieces to keep and give away.
Stop in for the next show. You will be glad you did.

a mecca of hope for homeless adolescents. The institute will provide basic needs, and as your bond with the order grows, they will find you affordable housing to gradually find yourself a place in this society. Insider sources tell me there is approximately only a 36 percent success rate of teens, but hey not everyone is going to climb out of the cesspool and depravity of life. Check it out if god forbid something catastrophic happened in your life leaving you in shambles without the bare necessities Of existence. I myself still am a huge work in progress, but they helped me reach a semblance of normalcy.
