Such a lovely, forested Park, with well-marked trails, which vary in length, elevation, and scenery. Benches throughout. Lots of parking, and very easy to find, right off the Natchez Trace Pkwy. Staff is eager to help suggest hikes. The indoor fireplace rounded out the lovely visit.

Gorgeous as usual. Lots of paved and gravel walking trails and playgrounds.

Great place to walk and enjoy being outside. You can bring your dog as long as they are on a leash. It's about. A two mile walk all flat and on a paved path. Plenty of play sets for the kids as well as pavilions for picnics.

Another great park in the Nashville area! Tinkerbell playground was so adorable and huge ! Lots of room for many kids.
The trails were also very cool! There is also a trail off the paved one that is around the park that people mainly use for jogging and such, and it's really neat! It isn't for small children, but my 7 year old did fine. It's up a steep incline that is rocky, but after that, it's a wooden platform and then a grassy trail. There are also little plaques stating history facts about the war and after the war.
The park is huge and has so many obstacles for kids, there was a rope jungle gym to climb, a whole wooden castle theme playground, swings, slides, a little log and rock obstacle course, little rock climbing formations, they have outside cement bench and table with outlets, they have a cement ping pong table and the equipment to play cornhole, just need the hackey sacs. It was a beautiful view and experience. Kept clean too!

Really nice fenced in playground for younger children. There’s also a place to fish and you can bring your boat as long as it’s not motorized (canoe or kayaks are ok). Absolutely beautiful scenery.

A beautiful park with lots of trails. It is well maintained and the trails are labeled well. There is a short segment at the entrance that is ADA accessible which is wonderful.

Great place to hike for kids and dogs. Has wonderful view and there are various different routes to take.

Beautiful park with lots of play areas for the kids. A great spot to have a party, take a walk, or just hang out with friends.

Very nice hiking trails and easy to follow. The trails are well marked and informative tree markers. Just need some day hikers because the trails are not Rocky and uneven. They have a really nice nature center with maps and info. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. Pets are allowed as long as they're on leash. Picnic tables are available. And plenty of loop trails. Also a pond at bottom of : Big East Fork trail. Parking and bathrooms are available. Saw an 🦉 and Red Belly Woodpeckers on ridge. Benches are everywhere on trails. They offer a variety if nature programs. Enjoy and please keep it nice for others.

Timberland Park is very nice. The tail is well maintained and is ADA Accessible. Dogs on a leash are permitted. The welcome center is very nice and informative. My only complaint, was the grouchy man sitting at the desk. He obviously hates his job and is a downer for this beautiful park.

This is a great park! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. All sorts of wildlife to see along any one of the well maintained trails.

It's a small park. I really thought it was going to be bigger. Good for locals.

Great park for a hike. Very peaceful. Take your dog. The visitor center is cozy with rocking chairs and a fireplace.

I used to live on Franklin as a little kid and go to the park all the time when it was all wooden. I also learned how to fish and I still go hiking with my grandma regularly

It was an overall a good trail but I don’t recommend going after a rainstorm as the trails become creeks.

Had an 80° day in late October, so I went with Tyr dirtbike...Pretty Rocky and the leaves made it slippery..and a good deal of deep mud..be careful...probably better to try dry summer stretches. Fun though

I love going over there with my family it's a beautiful view and it's clean.

Lots of irresponsible pet owners letting their dogs run around unleashed in the parking lot, on the ball fields and up on the little kids in the playground.
There are signs posted that say dogs must be leashed and off of the fields but no one cares.
Accidents waiting to happen all around.
If your dog is reactive to hyper, unleashed dogs, with zero recall, or if your kid is unsure of dogs, I would avoid it.
Otherwise, its nice.

Very cute park with lots of different spaces including swings, climbing areas, musical section, huge wooden play structure and sand pit. Some shade but mostly sun.

Pinkerton Park is a fun place for all age groups to spend a good day!
They have a dedicated kids 👧🏻 👦🏻 area with a lot of fun activities 🛝 🏓 🏞️ 🛹 . There are also areas were one can bring their hammock and rest and relax 😎
There is plenty of hiking 🥾, walking 🚶♂️ trails around the park as well. Also if your looking for shelter, they have 3-4 spots with good seating capacity.
If you are visiting or a local here and looking for a relaxing evening, Pinkerton is the place!👍🏻

Great park with lots of playgrounds. I've been here a few times and there are always people here and kids playing. It's a lovely park and very clean

Fun playground! My kids love this park. Wish there was more shade, but it's definitely awesome. It has a mommy and baby swing which is super cute! It also has ping pong tables in front of the park. Oh and a cute theater stage and sand pit!

The grounds are well cared for, just wish the signage was more clear. As first timers, we walked around a bit trying to find the disc golf course. Hint: follow the dog barking sounds!

Small, but well kept and shady. My girls enjoy it for the most part! We only really come to this one when it is hotter and don't want to run under the beating sun at the Wrentham location. I will say that there are a few regulars here with problematic dogs that will have me turn right around and leave if I see them in the park. In particular a boxer that resource guards balls/toys and sometimes people. (He even tried to resource guard ME from my own dog approaching me!) Also a doodle that guards dug out holes in the dirt as well as toys. They tend to over do it with chasing off other dogs, to the point of mine and other people's dogs being afraid to go near them if they see them also running after the ball. I would suggest either banning resource aggressive dogs, or toys, or both. It's not fair to the well socialized dogs that want to use the space to play.

Hands down, the best park in Franklin for walking and being in nature. The path loops around the lake, with several observation points along the way. The fall time presents beautiful colors surrounding the lake.

I have been there today, the place is nice and interesting. It is setup in a family friendly way, there’s a playground for young kids, long walking, half ring for walking lovers, and enough benches if you like to just sit or read or eat. Loved the place 😀

Never go there to watch sunset. As soon as sun went down we got lost in a absolute darkness. Phone reception does not exist. But it was our stupid decision to do that. The forest is beautiful and safe.

We love bringing our 23lb dog to the Dacey dog park. She always has a great time playing with other dogs and saying hi to the people. Time of day is a huge factor in how many people/dogs there are, We've always seen at least 3 other dogs, and as many as 15 when we've gone. Great place to socialize the pups and let them run around

This is a nice little park. About a 25 minute walk around and that's stopping to read plaques, take some pictures and watch the ducks. The sculptures are interesting, but could definitely use some upkeep/care. It's in a safe location (right next to the police station) and was clean.

Needs some attention. Some of sculptures needs some paint and maintenance. Lots of ducks and frogs swimming around in between trash. Could be a nice area and has potential for some growth. Short walk and path is level.

Amazing gem. Gorgeous area and pond trails. But who idea was to build the playground with no shade?!? Playground gets horribly hot in the sun 24/7!

Kids play area, soccer field, nature trail for a walk. This is one of the best parks in the neighborhood. Plenty of parking spaces and there’s dog park as well.

Cute little park. The rainbow arches can use a fresh coat of paint. Pics would’ve popped more if it were sunny and the foliage were green.

Large, clean dog park. Always a large number of well behaved dogs for socializing and exercise. Next to a playground, soccer field and disc golf course.

Wonderful inclusion playground. Plenty of area to spread out also as well as frolf course, unfortunately disc golfers seem to be above picking up after themselves as the litter blows everywhere for days following their tournaments. If you have been blessed in life to have time or the physical ability to play a game and work from home you should have at least been taught to pick up after yourself. Why won't you take out what you bring in?? It's bad enough half of the disc golfers drive after drinking for hours in the woods. The children who enjoy the playground shouldn't have to wade through your trash nor worry how drunk you are coming out of the woods. "Give a hoot don't pollute".

Fun/cute park. It’s small but don’t let that fool you. There are a lot of interesting sculptures here & it’s a great way to pass some time , there’s also a duck pond.

Love this park! Came early in the AM and parking lot was empty. Easy to find a number of trails to start from. Beautiful and easy hike deep into the woods without seeing others - ran into one other person on a cross-trail. Dog friendly but there is a preserve where pets are not allowed off of the Nancy Conway trail.

Lovely conservation area in Franklin. There's a nice path around the pond. The Franklin Library posted a storybook along the one of the paths. The floating bridge is cool to walk over. There is a great playground at the main entrance. There are also a few picnic tables; one is situated under a small gazebo. During this time of year the reflection of the trees and leaves in the water is beautiful. Get out there and enjoy DelCarte.

Great little park. Only takes a few minutes to walk around but we saw some nice looking sculptures, was well as turtles, frogs, pollywogs and a whole lot of ducks! Very nice spot for reflection on the art and nature. Though it is small, it is worth it to drop by for a quick visit.

I’m my experience, this is a pretty friendly, clean and comfortable park to bring your pups to. The owners are very good at handling their dogs 8/10 times. But I’m some cases of course, you may run into an issue here or there. There seems to be solid regulars who go, so if you’re looking for a dog community, this is a great place to start! Many benches and tables to sit and chat and even a small agility ramp if you want to teach your dog some tricks. Trashes and poop bags provided, as well as many drinking bowls and tennis balls, but feel free to bring your own.

parking across from end beaver street for “healthy heart trail”. DCR does a great job maintaining the trails, lots of storm damage this summer cleared away within days.
parking for OHV at top of forge hill road by the water tank.

Quiet and nice city park for toddlers to explore the art!

Great place to let dogs socialize and run around. Wish more people brought their dogs here at non-peak hours, as there is a small chance of showing up and being the only pooch there.

My big boy Toby has a lot of fun it's a nice park !!!!

The trails are beautiful. Be careful for lots of roots though. The playground is very nice and new, but definitely better for older kiddos

Great short walk is about 1.5 miles. A lot rocks on the trails. Small parking. Best access is on 98-72 Grove St, Franklin, MA 02038, USA

Great place to have a nature walk ride your bike go camping. I would highly recommend it to the adventurer.

Not a bad little park. Disc golf is hard to navigate. Has a great playground and dog park. Our kid goes to soccer which has a great setup. Very good spot for sledding

Excellent park, various degrees of hiking trails. If someone is new, it's easy to get lost without maps or directions.
Nice visitor center, clean facilities. Super interactive and friendly staff. There are lots of small to medium trails. There are few picnic tables right near the visitor center.

Dacey Field has an 18 hole disc golf course which is maintained by the regular players. It's mostly a shaded course with only two golf holes in an open field. There are walkways and bridges over the streams, benches to rest on, and brooms to clear each platform for every hole. The players are friendly and helpful. Definitely going back.

Great field. Wish it had running water and toilets instead of portopotty.

So peaceful & quiet... a great place to just get away & enjoy nature

Great little dog park, where I have found mostly good owners and great friendly doggies. Plenty of seating, but you must bring your own water for the pups.

Such an easy walk but so pretty and peaceful!

Wonderful dog park! It is well maintained, large and even has free poop bags and conveniently located receptacles when you are done. Plenty of parking, too!

Home to several dozen youth soccer fields. Also home to a Frisbee disc golf course, a baseball diamond, a huge playground, walking trails and Franklin's dog park.
