Ball Park that doesn’t even host county rec ball?
So much potential but the park has fallen into disrepair and seems to have been abandoned by Georgetown County.
The whole area needs a thorough cleaning!
Parks & Rec PLEASE get rid of the rusted equipment before someone gets injured.

Very bad park don't recommend. Dirty and creepy. Not a vibe.
Beautiful ocean nearly deserted excellent for long dog walks in the waves !
Yes it maybe a bit of a walk but to me it was worth it. The three days I went I had great fishing. The paved walk way is great too.
Extremely calming and beautiful, very walkable and nice. There is a large ferret community that lives on the jettis and they greet you when you arrive. There are hardly ever a whole lot of people and it is almost always pretty empty. My favorite walking place in Myrtle Beach.
One of the few jetties that is walkable. Very foggy day here but we saw a mink - a cute one too. It was very friendly and approached us, stopping to say hi.
Nice little spot for the kids to play and throw some rocks in the water!
Nice playground for kids to play. Very clean park n peaceful 👌
Great maintained fields, bravo crew!
Great place to fish and see the wildlife but it's one heck of a long walk with fishing gear and supplies. Animal friendly, clean, beautiful... wish you could take an ATV on the beach
Never thought hiking down a beach and walking on a jetty would be so interesting, but apparently this is the secret sea turtle hot spot of SC. Saw at least 12–14 turtles, one decent sized shark, stingrays, and all sorts of fish. Just be sure to keep sun, heat, and bugs in mind depending on time of year.
Sunrise walk to the jetty from the north parking lot of huntington beach state park is an excellent start to the day, park is open from 06:30 and there are restrooms and picnic area near the parking...

Good luck. Summer time parking is a good joke to tell everyone back home about, get there early I guess, or just walk to it like we did... Getting in and out is comical too. Just park a few streets from it, there's of street parking not to far if you keep your eye out for it. Lock it up too, if I only had time to share a few experiences. The minute you take your eye off your belongings, they are no longer yours. It will happen that quick. Plan your Beach trip according.
Great place to walk the beach. Go early and you may see a cpl of dolphins hanging around.👍

I felt lucky to find a parking place and a local fisherman gave directions to a nearby public entrance to the beach. The walk on the sand was very nice. Not crowded and no litter.
Great way to get your exercise in. A beautiful view at the end of jetty. Great place to fish.

Time for lunch, I stopped at this park and microwaved something in the van, sitting at the picnic table here that overlooks the creek and leads to Murrells Inlet itself. The park has a nice boardwalk, pavilion, a small playground, lots of shade and a fabulous view.

Despite the mostly overcast view, I enjoyed my time here.

Nestled amongst the towering live oak trees along scenic SC-707 in Murrells Inlet, this gorgeous, and highly underrated, pond is a can't miss for anyone visiting the area. Surrounded by lush vegetation and teeming with wildlife, this pond offers a magical glimpse of nature with each visit.

It's sad to still see the damage along the south end of Garden City

Limited parking, but usually not too crowded this far down. Great beach access.

The basketball court is an embarrassment - the one hoop is falling down and the other has a wire net that can't fit a full size ball through it.

The grass is in terrible condition - your legs will get filthy with dirt and sand, not to mention all of the bugs you'll walk through in the uncut grass.

Georgetown County should be EMBARRASSED of the state of this park.

It was awesome! We caught some crabs and I even caught a few shrimp with my little net. The area went from being pretty dead (as in we were the only ones there) earlier in the day, to the parking lot being completely full by the time we left around 8pm. Lots of random people came up to check out what we were doing and to see if we'd caught anything, but everyone was super friendly. Unfortunately on our last evening crabbing there we didn't catch very many that were big enough to keep, but we still had a great time!
We come every year and make a day of it! Some of the trails were closed and the water was a little colder this year but the sun was hot and sand was sandy
You love to walk around to relax...be on your own and just breathe? Go to the jetty...you will have to walk approx 2 3 miles on beach shore to reach it.....but worth it...you ll see probably lot of fishermen there and spot many crabs ...maybe a few weasels on the pier too ;) but the view over the ocean, murrels and garden city is beautiful...
A nice mile and a half walk til you reach the jetty, bring your shoes ! The concrete gets pretty rough. It was super windy when i went, so make sure you have all your goodies secured. My phone almost blew out of my hand while trying to take a picture ! Also the tide was high and i was pretty much in the splash zone trying to reach the very tip of the jetty, but loved every minute. You can see Myrtle Beach from there ! Totally worth it. Don't forget to check out the gift shop !
Tons of people, very little parking and Georgetown county police giving lots of tickets… if you don’t park perfectly. I would advise you to go anywhere else.
The South Jetty is a great place to walk and fish. Park in the North parking lot inside Huntington Beach State Park. It's about a 2 mile walk to the Jerry from the beach. The top portion is an asphalt walkway for a fishing cart or to walk out on. Make sure to bring tackle because the rocks will cut your rig off at times. Catchem Up.

Nice parking area with easy beach access. This is a great place if you surf fish and have a fishing cart.

You MUST park 2 blocks up the road which makes it a bit of a scramble if you are solo launching. And there is pretty ample parking there. All the captains I saw launch were very efficient.

Stopped here for a little picnic. Great views and beautiful area. Clean picnic tables and little play area for kids. What's missing? No bathroom. Not even a portable potty

Awesome walk to the jetty. Sunshine and sea air.
A nice walk to get there along the beach, great views from the jetty...saw plenty of wildlife!
A long walk on the beach to the jetty but it's worth it. Starfish, shells, a sand dollar here and there. Go at low tide preferably morning or evening. Could even clearly see fish schooling through the waves before the wave broke. Tried to get a picture of that but wasn't successful.
I have been coming here to enjoy the sunrise on my way to work. What a nice little space to enjoy.
A cozy place to have fun with friends and family.
This is a great boat ramp. 3 lanes to get you in and out quick. From 12ft to a 35ft boats with no problems. Well lit and maintained. Even a guy on a golf cart to shuttle you back and forth to and from the parking lot, but please TIP the man! Parking lot just repaved a few weeks ago!
The Murrells Inlet Public Boat Ramp is very user friendly and I am Grateful to the City, State and County as well as our forefathers for its usage. We are all truly blessed!! Thank You Lord.

I'm sure this place is super crowded in the summer but for a beautiful fall day, it was perfect to launch a kayak from. The golf cart shuttle to and from the free parking lot was an added bonus. Thankfully there are also porta potties in the lot.
It is a long walk to get there but worth the trip. Good fishing, lots of seashells, great view

Great place to watch fireworks. Too bad it rained. The lightning was actually a cool addition to the man made lights!

Local park that gives you access to the marsh areas around the inlet. Nice place to take sunrise and sunset pictures.
Very nice landing and it is the best landing if you are going on the inlet of our on deeps sea fishing from the inlet. The parking lot is a walk but not that far. Some times you find somebody who will give you a ride on a golf cart. Watch for slippery ramp.
