Quite and beautiful place to take a long walk, good restaurants at that part of lake Washington. Good place to enjoy and relax.

Great park with running and bike trails. Serene and peaceful beach area at Pocket beach. It also got nice indoor pavilion area to sit and eat if you bring your own food.

Great place to watch sunset with benches or run or bike by the water. It’s about 2 miles trail north by the water one way and a view of Rainier most days.
Public restrooms during open hours.
This is my favourite spot for freshwater fishing.
Gorgeous lake washington and the view of Mt Rainier 🌋

You can catch Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass and variety of sun fishes.
There is a restroom within 2 minutes walk.
My go-to place. If you want to touch and feel the sea then you should definitely go to the sculpture park. It is a zero cost thing. If you are fond of ebikes or scooters, just grab one and roam around the park. It is so soothing. Take beautiful pictures and do your picnic here.

Nice Park with big grassy fields. The art was cool too.
My go to place to witness a beautiful sunset. The setting sun with golden-orange light reflecting in the water is just mesmerising. There’s ample space to sit and relax. I don’t find it to be overcrowded which is a plus.

Last Sunday, my friend and I visited the Flight Museum in Seattle, and afterward, we headed to the Olympic Sculpture Park for a stunning sunset view near his apartment. The sunset was absolutely amazing, and we had a fantastic time! Seattle is truly a lovely place to be.

A must see when in Seattle! I just so happened to stumble up on this awesomeness driving through the neighborhood and I immediately turned around and stopped to visit it. Highly recommend!

Small lovely park. Connected to the pond loop below, which had many ducks and a great blue heron for the enjoyment of everyone around :)
One of my favorite parks in Seattle, perfect for running or long walks with absolutely beautiful views and the whole park has a different lane for cycling as well. It is a dog friendly park and has several beaches, your dog will love it! This place is a must if you're traveling to Seattle. (And this park is free)
A really nice view!!!! Don't lose your glasses in the water.
Great place to walk a dog and read book, also good walk through to High Point area.

The park is modest in size, but it offers stunning views of the Puget Sound in one direction and the Space Needle in the other. While I’ve visited more impressive sculpture gardens with superior artwork and more lush foliage, the view here more than compensates. Chairs are strategically placed near the large red sculpture on a slight elevation, offering a marvelous vantage point of the water. Best of all, the experience is completely free.

This is a nice park. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This small park is home to multiple abstract sculptures, and it has great views of Elliott Bay and downtown Seattle. Strolling through this park brings one a sense of serenity as well as improved cognitive functioning as they interpret the meanings of the statues they see. I gave this park five stars because it has nice sculptures and good views.

Attended the Juneteenth 2024 celebration. Great space to gather with community, wonderful food by local small businesses, and family friendly activities. I will return next year!

This park is an important resource and greenway for the neighborhood. It’s a great lid on I-90 that stitches the neighborhood together. It’s a great tribute to a famous musician from the neighborhood. However, there are over 50 dead trees and shrubs. Seattle Parks and Rec, please maintain this park and plant new greenery.

Relatively cool place. Walking trails, clean, large areas inc. ball park, skate Park, and bball court. Would be fun for dogs too. Only downside was that there were no restrooms throughout the entire span of the large park and very few garbage cans. But overall an enjoyable experience.

This park and playground was perfect for a lunchtime family stop. Our kids are one and a half and almost five years old. They had a great time playing here and saying hi to the many dogs that were passing through.

Street parking on a Sunday morning was easy. A cute place to see cherry blossoms without the crowds. A friend took some photos for us under a big weeping cherry blossom tree and it turned out wonderful. There are several other blossoming trees and spring blooming flowers. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not open. We had to walk to Starbucks down the street.

Central Park in Seattle offers a serene escape from urban hustle. With lush greenery, scenic trails, and vibrant flora, it's an oasis for nature lovers. The park boasts recreational facilities, picnic spots, and playgrounds, catering to families and fitness enthusiasts alike. Its central location makes it easily accessible, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful afternoon. However, limited parking can be a challenge during peak hours. Overall, Central Park provides a refreshing retreat within the city.

WOW! This place is gorgeous! Sure there are tons of houses by this area that you can't afford, but you know what? It's free to come here! Much easier if you have a car of course, but if you walk all the way here, there are tons of staircases you can access --albeit still very steep. BUT once you make it here, it's a treasure trove to discover!

Bruce Lee fun fact: Bruce used to meditate here occasionally.

08/12/23: it is a very cool and spacious park. Its center is African American Museum. Surrounding this park, you can find trails connecting to Sam Smith Park and some play fields. I visited at 9 am so it did not get much crowded. I felt relaxed and comfortable after visiting this awesome park. Highly recommended

We went there for the Juneteenth party. It eas packed with people and positive energy to celebrate freedom and equality. I am so happy Seattle has such a venue/park and I live right there. :)

I had the pleasure of skiing here during the snowmegeddon in 2020. The conditions were great, but they could have made even more snow. 6 inches of fresh powder over 2 inches of grass made for an interesting surface, that’s for sure. Visiting in the summer is nice, too. There are plenty of trees to climb, large areas to throw frisbees and stuff, and walking paths to explore.

Parking isn’t bad if you look around for a few minutes.

Cozy little park with good family appeal. Some picnic tables so you can enjoy an outdoor meal while the kids play. Great views from the overlook point.

This unique pocket park, nestled between High Point townhomes, offers walking paths, picnic tables and benches, a jungle gym, and a some fantastic views. Pond Park (just below, and accessible by stairs) is well framed in the foreground, and Elliot Bay and downtown Seattle look lovely in the distance.
Beautiful area, great for running or dog walking

Absolutely beautiful park right next to the water. Amazing views. Nice walking trails as well. There’s a few giant sequoia trees located in the park!

The "views" that Viewpoint Park provides are really of the pond below, but that's still okay. It's a wonderful little outlook just for that. I spotted a blue heron and got really excited about it before learning that blue herons are, in fact, a very common bird. LOL

Snow or sun, this little park has the best views. There’s a secret swing set tucked up above the tennis courts with an even better view too. The Leschi market is right at the base of the park so you can grab a snack to sit and enjoy the view. Love this little lakeside slice.
Washington Blvd has many beaches and stops but this one is a little closer to the road with parking. Has ducks and geese. Nice place to walk together or alone.

Has bench and grass to sit on. You can see Mercer island and Bellevue downtown across the lake.

This is a wonderful place to walk! The ducks on the pond mean the scenery is constantly changing so I can walk laps and never feel board!

Great lakeside park. Canadian Geese make sitting in the grass impossible. The Marina is a mismanaged mess but somehow manages to work for the neighborhood.
I'm stumbling through this neighborhood where there's mostly warehouses and right in the middle where to Stewart's in across there is as nice little bench and nature around where you can just sit and ponder life. not less than a block away is there the stairs that go up delridge or a place you can park in the rotunda and watch traffic come over on the West Seattle bridge. And if you're looking for a fresh nettle patch, ferns, big healthy nature you're really close keep following all the ivy. don't forget to recycle recycling centers right behind ya!

I really love the view from this place.  I make a point to visit here at least one time, each year

I was inspired to take the pictures posted with this review from observing sunrise from the Summer Solstice of 2021 - my most recent visit.

Looking forward to gathering for my annual tradition, soon
