A photographer's dream spot for the Seattle skyline! I thought it was gorgeous during the day especially when Mt. Rainier made an appearance, but my goodness, the photographs I got at night were just as magical! Highly recommend this spot. Although it's busy, it doesn't ever get THAT busy where you can't find a spot to set your camera and take your photograph ❤️
Very nice place to relax. Also good for a evening run
Unique sculpture architect, tbh I don't quite get their meaning, but they look unique strange way. And you can enjoy the wonderful sea view from the park

This is just a turn off, no facilities save a trashcan. But grab some takeout, pull in, knock down that Eastward facing window, and enjoy the view.

Kerry Park is an absolute must-visit for both locals and tourists alike. It offers a stunning vantage point to behold the captivating Seattle skyline and panoramic views that will leave you in awe.

One notable aspect is how well-maintained the park is; it’s impeccably clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for visitors. However, it’s important to note that the parking situation can be a bit challenging. Street parking is the only option, but the silver lining is that it’s free. Just be prepared for the hunt as it can be hard to find a spot, especially during busy times.

The real magic happens during sunset, making it the perfect spot for a picturesque evening picnic. The views are second to none, making it an ideal backdrop for memorable photos.

Kerry Park is a true gem that promises a memorable experience for anyone seeking to capture the essence of Seattle’s skyline. Just be patient when it comes to parking, and you’re in for an unforgettable visit!

Great walking / biking/ scootering trails along the water, amazing views of the sound and ferries going by with the olympic mountains in the back ground. Shady and sunny spots with trees to hang a hammock on. Dog friendly (on leash). Some nice (rocky) beach spots with logs.
It is like stepping into another world of tiimeless beauty and captivating charm. Every blooming petal draws you to take a 2nd and 3rd look.

A must see in Freemont. The troll under a bridge along with a small park. The troll is a accessible for photos and people from around the world visit so you always meet some new cool folks. Kids are mesmerized and the always se the VW beetle before the adults!
Great lookout point to see downtown Seattle and Mount Rainier (weather permitting). The parking was a little difficult on the park was a lot smaller than I expected. Great place for pictures and maybe being long some lunch yo enjoy the view.

Lovely all-male nude beach on Lake Washington, which is significantly warmer than Puget Sound. Bring old sneakers or flip flips, because the first 10 feet or so at the water’s edge is quite rocky.

Beautiful view of skyline.

Sunset here is really beautiful (I liked view from  Dr. Jose Rizal Park also, may be better as you can see moving vehicles also there, but can't see space needle from there, But can see great wheel and stadiums nicely).

Morning or evening can sit there and relax with nice wind and view. More crowded during sunset. You can park the car on street (avoid gates) may be park few feets away and walk here. Nice neighborhood.
A quick spot just by the side of the road, will miss it if you don't make a quick right turn.
Kubota Gardens in summer is a symphony of greens. From verdant light filtering though tall maple leaves, to the dizzying array of both carefully manicured and riotous evergreen specimens, this garden in summer offers peace as well as delight. Lean into your curious nature and let whimsy choose your path through these acres. Then come back in fall for fiery colors, and spring for hundreds of blooms. Each season here is guaranteed to offer new delights.
The names of the varieties were missing on most. There was no rhyme or reason to how they are layed out. Any type of grouping would have been helpful, such as: Fragrance, Color, Variety, Climbing, Heirloom, but, alas there is none. Also a kiosk with an overview.

a fabulous garden - really feels like a hidden gem. a peaceful retreat from the loudness of life, there are plenty of little nooks you can find to take a seat and just observe. free to visit, free to park! several picnic tables available as well as various benches hidden throughout for a quiet place to rest. I thought I wouldn't be able to find a restroom beyond the porta potties near the entrance, but I was relieved to see a fully functioning public restroom located closer to the exit.

Beautiful and surprisingly large garden with winding trails and some steep parts. A huge variety of plants and it was peaceful when I was there. There are quite a lot of signs warning you to take valuables out of your car but I didn't see any break ins or have an issue while I was there.

Such a beautiful Japanese garden in the City. It is vast with many trails to walk, shaded areas thoughout during hot days and plenty picturesque spots for beautiful picture ops. Admission is free and donations are welcome. This is pet friendly and the restrooms are accessible and clean. Would highly recommend.

A spectacular place to watch the sunset, sunrise and have bird's view of Seattle that includes Space Needle, Mount Rainier, The Giant Wheel and Elliott Bay( all in one frame). The park is really nice but is always mostly packed with people. The park is not that big and there's not many benches or places to sit and enjoy the scenic beauty.Yet it's really a must visit place in Seattle.

What a gorgeous day to enjoy this Seattle treasure. My friend and I wandered with no agenda. Lovely discoveries were around every corner. Maps at the entrance if you want one. The park is bigger than you think, so it's a good idea to grab one if you're on a time budget.
Most reviews and pictures for this garden are for the Seattle Japanese Garden in the Arboretum. This place is a Japanese-inspired picnic area on campus with a little fountain.

Kerry Park is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking parks in Seattle. Nestled on the south slope of Queen Anne Hill, it offers an unparalleled panoramic view of the city's skyline, including the iconic Space Needle and the majestic Mount Rainier in the background.

The park itself is beautifully maintained and always clean. It's a relatively small park, but it offers plenty of seating options, from benches to grassy areas, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the captivating scenery. The landscaping is well-kept, with vibrant flowers and shrubs adding an extra touch of beauty to the park.

The highlight of Kerry Park, of course, is the viewpoint. As you step off the streets and onto the observation deck, your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning cityscape that unfolds before you. The Space Needle stands tall, creating a perfect frame for the dazzling downtown buildings that seem to touch the sky. As the sun sets, the lights come alive, turning this panorama into an enchanting cityscape. It's an absolute joy to watch the city transition from day to night.

Whether you're a local or a tourist, Kerry Park is a must-visit destination. It's the perfect spot for taking photos, especially for capturing the iconic Seattle skyline. The viewpoint is also an excellent place for romantic dates, picnics, or simply quiet contemplation. On a clear day, you can even spot Mount Rainier in the distance, adding a touch of natural beauty to the urban landscape.

One thing to note is that Kerry Park can get crowded, especially during popular times like summer weekends or special events. However, even with the crowds, the atmosphere remains pleasant, and the view is worth the visit. It's recommended to arrive early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the busiest times.

Overall, Kerry Park is an absolute gem in Seattle. Its breathtaking views, well-maintained surroundings, and convenient location make it a top-notch destination for anyone seeking beauty and tranquility in the heart of the city. Whether you're a local or a tourist, be sure to make a trip to this park, as it promises to provide an unforgettable experience.
Always a favorite. Season is a wee bit hard to predict sometimes in Seattle. I saw roses blooming around Seattle so knew it would be a good time to try (this was June 17) but seemed like it was a little bit towards the end of the season since some were already pretty crisp and dried up.

Sculptures were cool, but other than that it is just a nice stroll in the park. It's conveniently located near some good eating and the water, so it can be quite romantic for couples. Other than that, it's just mediocre and a good touristy spot to show out of town people, or to run and have a great exercise.
What a beautiful day. We went to see the beautiful flowers and were not disappointed. Easy to walk around, dog friendly, and enty of places to sit and enjoy nature. Parking can be a problem since it is the zoo paid parking or neighborhood parking, but we were warned and went early in the day.

We were visiting Seattle, and stopped by here to watch the sunset view. Its is more like a roadside view rather than a park. There are a few benches. It was just gorgeous to see everything from the space needle to Mount Rainier. Very crowded and there was some engagement going on. Parking can get very difficult especially on weekends, we managed to get a spot on the street.
Really beautiful park with free entrance next to the zoo. Quite lovely and would be perfect for pictures, a picnic or just a stroll.
Definitely expected more sculptures with the park being named after it. But the views of the water front are amazing! Great path to run, walk, or even bike.

Excellent nudes beach the parking is on the main road... Dont follow google!!
An absolute hidden gem. Not for the weak of knees. Wear appropriate shoes, it's a near-vertical climb but it's absolutely charming.
The rose garden is an absolute neighborhood gem. This precious park offers an abundant source of tranquility and beauty for any visitor lucky enough to drop by. Perfect place to bring a friend and a book to spend an afternoon with.

This is a lovely waterfront park hidden away in Madrona. The path is found among some obscure side roads and when you get down the winding way, you are rewarded with a peaceful place to sit. There are a few log benches, a stone wall closer to the water, and grassy areas to sit in. A place you could contemplate life and/or go for a swim!

When I say hidden away, I really mean it. I met a strange man there during my visit, so also remember to be aware of your surroundings all over the city.
I love this place when sun is out. Good city and sea views. Nice to walk or seat place. Also relax place and parks. Nobody bother you. Enjoy with views

Its under alot of construction this area at the moment, the aquarium is expanding . This location has good views of the waterfront & big wheel & Harbour in some the areas not under construction here . The businesses around are all open like miners landing ,big wheel, aquarium they are all open to enjoy.
This is a nice "park" that is really one long viewpoint above Puget Sound. Park in the parking lot and then walk along the sidewalk as you take in the views of West Seattle, Mt. Rainier, ferry boats, downtown Seattle and, of course, the water.

Easy way to spend a few hours in Seattle. Go on the great wheel, preferably at night, or wander through the shops. There's plenty of food, a small arcade, even a mini carousel.
First came here on a picnic with a pal I made at University along with my now wife (the word still feels . . . weird) and my pal's partner, who we love. I brought another friend here, briefly, however, because work called in to interrupt us. This time is was my parents I towed here. I think they liked it. Hard to believe that this is still part of Seattle. Such views! All the boats--ferries, sailboats, tankers, cargo ships--so miniscule-looking, so miniature-looking. And a ripe spot to launch on off to discovery park where you walk down to the beach. From the bluff to the beach. That's what it is. That's what we did. That's a memory I'll hang on to.

Great venue to visit and take in the skyline. Took a boat trip along the waterfront to the needle and back. Starting on the pier by the ferris wheel. Paid about $30 for the hour trip and had a great west on the top deck and a great tour guide included.
I go up there to sit on the grass and read. I love the quiet and neighborhood up there.

If I could live there, I would. Not that lower Magnolia is any slouch, but I LUUURVS it up there!! Needs it!!

Definitely not worth the exorbitant entrance fee for such a tiny place. My apartment has similar small garden spaces 🤷‍♀️ The whole place can be walked around in a maximum of 10 minutes.

But it’s a pleasant atmosphere. There’s plenty of koi fish, but I didn’t get to do that since it the timings is between 10am to 2pm. I did get lucky to spot a tiny tortoise and a baby bunny though.

Don’t know what the hype was all about because I’ve definitely visited more places with similar or better views at a lesser cost

I loved this neighborhood to spend time for walking around and enjoying the beautiful view
Beautiful views and lots of seating. Great place to take the dog for a walk. Easy access to the Elliott Bay trail too.
I have been visiting Magnolia’s “Space Tower”neighborhood park for over two and a half decades. This iconic location never disappoints; with its impressive city views, and the most spacecraft-like water tower in Seattle, the park provides great vibes throughout your visit. If you really want to WOW your partner on a date, I highly recommend a visit to Space Tower. Admission to Space Tower Park is reasonably priced at, $0.00 and parking is free. Be sure to respect the peace and tranquility of the giant Space Ship and those who reside in its shadow.

A friend and I went here as a quick alternative to the Kubota garden since we were short on time - it was hugely disappointing. It’s planted in the middle of all these school buildings, I saw no lake or open areas, it’s just a good handful of trees and a little waterfall into a small pond with maybe 2 koi fish. It would be a nice retreat if you lived nearby or something, but if you’re visiting from out of town and seeing the sights then this wouldn’t be one of them. Wait until you have a good chunk of time and see the Kubota or other gardens.

August 6, 2021. Wonderful first visit, mildly busy (Friday 3-5pm), only males were present, will be back!

BE AWARE that the sunset is blocked by the trees, so there isn't much daylight for sunbathing in the evening and the temperature can get quite cool.

There is a steep path down from a small parking area on the side of the road. Do not try to drive down closer to the park as there is no parking. The path is not ADA accessable and there is no restroom at this location. After a short distance down the path is the clothing optional beach. There are no posted nude signs, so most people seem to wait to change until at the beach.

The beach felt very friendly and inclusive. I didn't notice anyone going in and out of the woods together like some of the other nude beaches; still, be safe (whatever your plans may be) and enjoy!
Seems like the city could water the grass. I mean the water tower is literally right there!
Just a beautiful part of Seattle history.

Tiny hillside switchbacked network of garden paths. Pretty overgrown in May, but in a Secret Garden kind of way and very pretty.
Loud traffic from all angles.
Parking tight on the dead end street, I parked at the top of the hill and walked down.
Smack-dab in the middle of a picturesque neighborhood in Magnolia Hills, this 1 million gallon tower built in 1947 is located on a slight rise at the northern end of an open grassy site, which covers an entire city block between West Dravus and West Prosper Streets and 38th and 39th Avenues West.
A small hidden gem of a park. Beautiful mix of flowers and trees and a fabulous view of Lake Union and downtown. Unfortunately there’s the constant background sound of I5.
Such a lovely view at all hours of a beautiful city. Moderately clear days show water and mtn views. Early mornings dazzle with soft lights. Throw in some train horns from down below and you have an authentic city view with plenty of fresh air; much needed after a week of being inundated with forest fire smoke.

Discovered a “secret” bench here in April and absolutely fell in love with the place. In spring, it feels like you’re stumbling upon a treasure. The paths up near 10th, off the stairs, are probably best explored by the sure-footed in sturdy footwear, however.
This is the highest point in Magnolia with views of downtown and Mount Rainier on clear days. Besides the impressive vistas, there is not much here. It's an open grassy field where people play with their dogs, picnic, and fly kites.
Gorgeous views when it is sunny, allot of dogs walking along the boardwalk.

The pea patch is nice, but, it is nothing to write home about. It is next to highway 99 Aurora bridge, so be prepared to listen to the constant hum of cars whizzing along the bridge.
City workers and volunteers cleaned up the homeless camp in the area, so the needles and garbage are gone. (I hope it lasts!) It is wonderful to see the effort volunteers put into making the place trash free!

This place has break-ins from homeless people at least once a week. Campion Hall is not the place you want your kids to stay. And this Garden is not going to suddenly make it worth it to have your kids be in such danger in Seattle University.
I love this park. Ben is a great tour guide and I had a lot of fun learning about this history of this park. I love my visit here. It is an oasis from the chaotic city traffic.

Beautiful views of Seattle skyline and the bay. A safe active parking area for those who want to catch a glimpse of the Seattle building growth. Views of the bay and boats.
I loved this place. Was not expecting it while visiting the troll next door, got to see plants that I had never before seen in person, and the grounds are really well kept. I wish they had a place like this near where I live.
A quick spot just by the side of the road, will miss it if you don't make a quick right turn. From this point you can capture some nice shots of downtown Seattle, depending if trees are trimmed or not. Make sure to read up on the plaque by the statue of the history of the place and it's people and admiral.

This is a great hidden beach that you’d never know was even there. Very small and private. Definitely NO clothes required and mostly male, though plenty remain clothed. I’ve never seen anything inappropriate for a public place but this is Seattle. Definitely for people that just want to hang out naked and are confident in their image. I wouldn’t call this a hook up or cruising spot.
