I am a former hospital employee and this was THE BEST primary care experience I’ve ever had. The facilities are impeccably clean, everyone is professional and helpful (no rude, short or DMV vibes from ANYONE). So many things were automated- my prescriptions were sent the pharmacy immediately during my visit and then I got a text while drawing labs that my Rx were ready for pick up in the same building!
My husband and I scheduled are appts same day and they were able to see us back to back in the same room as a courtesy. I cannot even.
Medical assistant (Linda) and doc (Dr.Dao) were so thorough in their assessment, personable and genuine. They were so attentive and considerate, extending privacy to my husband when discussing something more sensitive and educating us both on various things.
My prescriptions were cheaper than I’ve ever experienced AND they set me up for mail order delivery moving forward.
My husband and I were walking out and he had a question for the lab etch (how long before we can workout), the front desk lady called her for us and she came out with ace wrap 🥲
I have never felt more well taken care of

First time here as I needed a new PCP. Absolutley love it. Staff is super nice and sweet and Dr Velazquez is the greatest Dr I have had in years.

My name is Yagmur Bicakci. My family and I have been coming to Community Health Center, Forest City location for more than a year. We were very pleased and happy with the service until now.
I called the office to schedule an appointment for my daughter’s check up on Thursday(6th) morning at 9:51am (I also have a proof on my phone).
The receptionist told me the first available appointment is next day Friday(7th) at 9:45am I was very appreciative how quickly they found an availability so I got it scheduled immediately. We got everything confirmed with the receptionist.
Next day I and my 1 years old baby girl showed up to my appointment 15mins early per usual. I was checking in and the lady said I didn’t have an appointment for today it was scheduled for yesterday, I missed my appointment. How could that be possible if I call yesterday to get it scheduled at 9:51am and I get scheduled for the same day appointment 9:45am? it’s like a joke…
They were very rude towards me not helpful at all. I was beyond shocked and upset about this situation because my daughter didn’t eat anything all morning for some blood testing. I wanted to talk to the manager but the women did not care what I said to her. It’s just very disappointing and I felt discriminated so before I left the office ,
I got another appointment scheduled for Monday(10th) at 9am.
Here’s the crazy part.
We (me and my baby)showed up to my appointment at 8:05am (55min early) I began checking in because my Doctor told me show up early because she was fasting for the test.
After we checked in, we went to laboratory at 8:30am again my daughter didn’t eat anything for the blood work we waited until 9:30am. It’s been a whole hour we’re waiting in front of the laboratory.
At this point my daughter is starving! He usually eats around 8am, what killed me was there was a lady inside and she was sitting idle and she knew we were waiting for her. My daughter is crying very loudly, she is very hungry. Her name is "SUPERVISOR" (Samantha Read) she is very unprofessional, rude, doesn't know what she is doing, she saw my daughter crying. The manager and my doctor have talked to her multiple times to get blood work done so she can eat, but she claims her schedule is full. And even though I had an appointment, he kept us waiting for 1.5 hours! It's a baby! And I have a appointment ! (9:00am)This is incredible! She did not accept us.
And my baby was crying because she was starving! And my doctor have talked me that please do all test different place. And I left there I couldn’t do that. I fed her in my car. 1.30 hours she did not accept us even though I have an appointment at 9am.
That was a horrible experience for us. They are unprofessional

This office was very professional, they were curious, overall had a great experience compared to my last medical doctor. The wait time was minimal.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rasul for 4 years now and he is a fantastic doctor. His staff (shoutout to Melissa!) is lovely as well and are very responsive via email. Highly recommend Dr. Rasul’s practice!

Staff is very organized and attentive, they have helped me tremendously, and Dr. Mendez has pinpointed the medication that works best for me and I have improved drastically.

Dr. Rasul is a great doctor and I would highly recommend him to everyone looking for the best. I have been going here for a few years now and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Absolutely atrocious service! I've been trying to get in touch with this establishment for TWO WEEKS, and they have consistently failed to answer the phone or return any of my calls/voicemails, and when I did get someone on the phone, they hung up on me! I have also sent an email, with no response OR call back. It's beyond frustrating to be left in the dark with no communication whatsoever, especially when it comes to mental health. I had to wean off my medication on my own because I cannot make an appointment WITH MY psychiatrist to change my medication. How can they expect to retain OR help any patients when they can't even be bothered to pick up the phone, return phone calls, or emails? Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a business that actually values patient service and communication. One star is too generous for this level of neglect and incompetence, but based on the reviews there are not many standards this office has.

Would give 0 if possible, imagine being in need of help, filling out the preliminary documentation and expressing the severity of the situation to then be told, your first appointment is a Month away. Okay so you struggle through the four weeks holding on to the fact that you're going to help on a specific day. That day comes, you muster up whatever strength you have, drive 35 minutes, arrive 15 mins early as requested only to be told your appointment was canceled because they didn't get a TEXT reply from a system you've replied to 3 times. As if your time and mentally well being mean nothing. No empathy or respect for people anymore and it's sad coming from a service that should be the leaders in this type of service. I left feeling defeated, however this too shall pass. Sidenote: it will serve your staff well to not assume that black people don't understand Spanish.
I will be filing a complaint with the State

This place is horrible I've been with them now for over a year for my daughters care either they get the rx wrong or they just don't call it in we have been trying to reach the office over 4 weeks with no response my child has been out of medication for longer it's affecting her schooling and daily life it's very sad that this place treats their patients in such manner I have filed a complaint with the medical board this is unacceptable coming from a nurse with a master's degree in healthcare

Dr Rasul has really helped me with my depression. He's a very good listener & very knowledgable about medications. I would recommend Dr Rasul to anyone who is seeking relief from your depression.

AWFUL!!! If I could give them negative stars I would. This practice over charges for appointments that the provider only spends 2-5 minutes online with the virtual patients. You can never get someone on the phone during business hours. Multiple times calling going straight to voicemail. They won’t send the link for appointments until after you pay which has caused me to miss my appointment time MULTIPLE times. Provider will only send 1 month worth of prescription to pharmacy so you have to make an appointment every time you need a refill. Appointments after insurance still costs between $150-300. The provider only asks if you are doing great and does not want to hear about any mental health issues you may be struggling with. I cannot emphasize enough - DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE!!!!!!!

I am a self paying patient (which means they make more $ off of us). Every month I have to call (I try to be nice at first) and fight to get my son’s controlled substance refilled. They schedule appointments without telling me, and I have to call to find out when they are. They can’t see us until May, but the prescription has run out…they did not allow for any tapering off the drug as needs to be properly done. I have to call and freak out to get what my children need and deserve. This practice is dangerously negligent. We are now heading to the ER after two phone calls to the provider today promising a call back and resolution. I’ve been fighting with them like this every month for the past 6 month. You cannot just let a child go cold turkey off a med that is dangerous, but here we are. There’s no on call doctor or answering service. Despicable what they have put us through, and fairly want to warn anyone that is needing meds managed, this is not the place to go. They do not care.

Wish I didn’t need to use this place. It’s a nightmare when trying to call. Call center takes at least 10 mins to answer and that’s if they answer at all. Last few times I’ve called the phone cuts out after 15 mins of waiting. So fun. The online scheduling is a joke as in you can’t do it and then when you submit for them to contact you to make an appointment, no one ever calls. The last two times I was finally able to get someone to call me back was because I had to use their CONTACT US method to complain that I couldn’t make an appointment and how immoral their system is to accomplish that. Been waiting a whole year now on a referral too. Like I said, wish I didn’t need to use this place but we can all thank the broken system for that joy.

Services were good until past year or so. Very unprofessional new providers. Telehealth calls no one ever call you. Customer service sound like they are asleep and hate their job. That's the family practice. The dental don't bother. She will cancel on you last minute.

Pretty nice office. Very helpful front desk. The staff in the back could use some clinical training, but they try. A great plus if you ask me. I'm still waiting on my referrals from last month. Not even a phone call to inquire. Not happy about that.

Thank you Doctor Raul. I appreciate all you experience, your expertise have create a new me. An outgoing person, able to see things clearly in life. Actually having goals and transformer in reality. Appreciate the dedication of Melissa, as well. Great personality and performance for all this years. 👍 For the team.

After years of psychiatrists I finally found one that was willing to listen and heal me. I am so grateful that I found Doctor Mendez and team Because now I'm not only living As opposed to just existing. Thank you Alma behavioral group for having such wonderful caring doctors.
Sincerely and appreciate,
Luis Fernandez

Office is clean and staff is SUPER friendly. My provider however rushes the appointment and doesn’t listen to me. It’s one thing to hear, it’s another to actually listen. If she stopped rushing and took time to listen to my concerns it would be amazing.

Sorry no pictures..but PPS is a Wonderful Dr.s office with a great staff .I don't like talking about my mental health but thanks to PPS my life is back on track....I feel back to normal and as a veteran and a senior citizen that all I needed was a little help...and I got it there at PPS...thank you from the bottom of my heart

This place has the worst mental health “support” that I’ve ever gotten. I originally came here for therapy and to see a psychiatrist. I was told that I was high priority and that I needed to be put on the waiting list for therapy and they would call me when it was my turn. After a few months of being on the list, I called to see how close I was to getting therapy and I found out that they took me off the waiting list without telling me. I called the psychiatrist for answers but they couldn’t give me a good reason why I was taken off the list in the first place. I asked for therapy once again and I was told that I needed to join the waitlist for the second time. For someone who was told that they were high priority, this company didn’t act like it. Not to mention the psychiatrists running late/canceling appointments. I would recommend that people find help elsewhere.

I signed up for an appointment and the days of the appointment the time was change 2hrs ahead of time, mistake happens so i didnt think much of it, I wasn't sent proper paper work so it was push back an hour to have it filled out. Got to talk to the doctor but they were eating snacks throught the meeting, and the communication just wasn't there, I didn't feel heard. My issues with memory loss or anything I stayed wasn't brought up also ask if I lived with my mom(?) It felt judgy a bit? I put in the paper I live with my boyfriend... nothing in the paper work I took an hr to fill out was bought up either. At the end I was given maybe stress relief medicine for all my issues I didn't get to really touch on much and abruptly the meeting was over. Concerned I reach put to fornt desk to give my experience in a respectful way and was met with a bit defensiveness, idk no what happened...

Thank you, once again, to everyone there during my TMS treatments. It’s a very kind and compassionate place.
My treatment went perfectly. I was always made to feel comfortable. Everything was explained to me and every question I had answered.
I would highly recommend to those seeking this treatment.

Dr.Rasul and his staff have been extremely helpful and flexible with my personal treatment. If you are looking for psychiatry services that are tailored to your mental health requirements and predisposition(s), then Serene is a great option in the Orlando area. After switching to Serene, I know now that my voice is heard - and my mental health has improved significantly.

I was looking for a new clinic and decided to check out this place in person. When I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff whom seemed eager to help answer all my questions. Beatriz was so patient with me. She is well educated on the programs and very knowledgeable when it came to answering my questions. She had such an amazing attitude and made me feel comfortable during this process. Beatriz is truly a great person for taking the time to help me and make me feel like I am important and not just another patient. I definitely recommend this place and recommend speaking to Beatriz if you have any questions or concerns.

Screw this place. They lie to you and push you away. They help no one. They don’t care about their patients getting any treatment. They just push you away. Stay away from this horrid awful place. Unless you want to be pushed into committing suicide, stay far far away.

I used to work for this company for 2.5 years. Like all work place it has its up and downs, but during my time there I experienced a lot of growth and made some amazing friendships.

Nikki is such an amazing, understanding and educated therapist. She not only counsels me on treating my anxiety, but how to deal with the day to day stresses in my life. She does it with such compassion and understanding of how I act and could react. Helping me make better decisions in my life, to better my life and talking through the situations that arise with me. Teaching me how to be a better communicator and how to live with my anxiety. Highly recommended this service. My life has a calm over it because I made the decision to seek this kind of at home therapy.

Wonderful people that are professional and caring. Highly recommend this company to anyone!

Their TMS treatment is amazing and definitely something to look in to! Their staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! Thank you Diana for guiding me all through the process and Dr Mendez for being my savior!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Rasul enough. He has been nothing short of excellent. His office is very easy to communicate with, and they’re accommodating. When I first came to him as a new patient, he took his time talking to me. He was able to accurately diagnose me and put me on new medication, that actually works. My previous physician misdiagnosed me and the medication I had been on for years never seemed to work. Thank you for helping me live a happier and more stable life. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist in the Orlando area, look no further than Serene Behavioral Health.

to start the training in one week and they think that the following week you will learn what they have known about the program for years, bad attitude with patients on Tele calls, they have to know that they are working with people who have mental problems, emotional and those people the most they need is empathy the person who gave me the training her attitude is unprofessional and the truth is I don't know how to name her as coordinator if in a week I saw her bad attitude not at all professional for the job that they have been training for a short time and when a new employee makes a mistake there is a professional way to tell them things, they tell you that you have to ask some basic questions before connecting the patient with the provider and if you are late they tell you something no no like that They will not treat me badly and as long as they continue like this they will never have staff in the Orlando office

Horrible management. It’s all about profit here not patient care. If your not politically correct here watch your back. Worked here for the past six years with glowing reviews and ratings and let go for saying something they feel was in appropriate. They have lost over 12 secretaries in the six years I worked in the Orlando Office. Incompetent administration from top to bottom. Run from this place if you need Heath care

I went into your office today with no appointment. I couldn't not find my medication at any CVS or Walgreens. Amee took the time off her office work to call a pharmacy that she knew of. They had it and I was able to get my script. Great job Amee! Thank you.

The worst place ever. They don't care about there patients the office personnel are incompetent. They don't give your appointments on time so you run out of your medication, you fall into a crisis because they don't care. No empathy, at all. I have never seen or experienced a mental health care facility with such incompetence in my life. They just don't care about there patients. Where is the compassion for the patient?? You need to hire professionals that know what there doing . First one that needs to go is the office manager. Shame on you all. That includes all the hire ups. Your failing your patients. I decided to go elsewhere for my mental health care. I recommend everyone who has had my terrible experience you have a choice to go elsewhere to get mental medical care.

I have been seeing Dr. Mendez for close to fifteen years now. He's a genuinely good-hearted doctor who couldn't make it more obvious that he was put here to help others be the best they can be to themselves, their lives, and those around them. Dr. Mendez is a fine doctor who takes his career and the responsibilities of his position very seriously, just as much now as he did the very first time I saw him.
More recently I have been doing TMS therapy at the office, and I am noticing a difference in day-to-day life. I have already completed one round and will be completing an additional round for more noticeable results that I want out of the TMS therapy.
And since I first started seeing him, Alma Behavioral Group has grown a great deal. This newest office is beautiful and a nice size too. The staff, which has also grown over the years, is and always has been very friendly and helpful.
Dr. Mendez has made a big difference in my life and thanks to him I'm a happier and healthier person, both mentally and physically, and I can't thank him enough for it.

The psychiatry department is fine besides the ridiculous wait on my first appointment. But I tried getting therapy and saw someone for the initial evaluation. I never heard anything from anyone so today, three weeks later, I called and was told someone from the therapy department would call me.
EDIT: I was told I was assigned to a therapist and they would call me. That was days ago. This place is run so dysfunctionally.

Highly recommend. Dr. Mendez is fantastic and has helped me tremendously. The staff is always friendly and professional. Also recommend trying the TMS treatment if you can. No medications necessary and it really helped me with my depression!

UPDATED ** my mother GOT ABUSED HERE BY AJ BRIAN & Ruth the worst place you could ever imagine. this place will make you crazier, ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY IF YOU HAVE A GOOD INSURANCE . lets begin with my mother going into this facility thinking shes in good care and to change her medication, its been about a week now that shes been in there. i cant get a hold of anyone on the phone and when i do shes allowed to talk for 3 minutes because shes heading into group.. okay thats fine but everyday??? now my mother went into that hospital fine she just wanted to change her medications everytime i talk to her she sounds worse and worse everytime. theyre inducing her with medication that we dont know if its doing her any good and when i complain to a nurse about this they keep saying shell have to wait to see the doctor. she got a sezuire 3 days ago and she fell and one of the techs kicked her leg and said “GET UP AND STOP FAKING “ IT she broke her toe so they sent her to dr phllips hospital in which we DID NOT KNOW UNTIL WE CALLED THIS FACILITY , ALLEGDLEY they sent HER BACK HERE and also keep in mind when i called dr phllips hospital they said she was transferred back to parkway now we got false information and we dont know where she is and obviously they take away your phone so we have no way of reaching her and seeing if shes okay. this all takes us back till today.. they discharged her and did not contact us at all. NO ONE CAN HELP YOU HERE IF YOURE IN DANGER PLEASE STAY AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN. IVE ALREADY CONTACTED A LAWYER AND WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTIONS

The photos are nothing like the inside. The only windows are in the phone room/quiet area (which is the loudest room) and the cafeteria. Common areas are only swept/cleaned once a week at best. Sleep is impossible as the techs constantly gossip very loudly with one another and click their pens constantly when they are doing their checks every ten minutes. Having a bed closest to the door is not ideal if lights are a problem for your sleeping, but no worries, they will just try to feed you more drugs. I was held past the 72 hours, although deemed competent for self release, they then tried to keep me another 3/4 days because it was the weekend?! They also lost my medication in the longest process (over 24 hours) of admission. They ask if you have any dietary restrictions, yet don't follow through until you're about to leave. I was giving absolutely no information about the process and had to track someone down multiple times to find out what was going on. That still took another 36 hours and someone on the outside calling in to find out. Not to mention you see the psychiatrist through video for about two minutes every day or so... Cherry on top is they even spelled my name wrong. Worst $9000 "vacation" ever.

I do not know how this facility stays in business. The only thing I can say is that it was false imprisonment, as they would not release after a 72-hour Baker Act hold.
1. They have no oversite of an actual doctor; their CEO is a nurse, and they only have doctors contracted.
2. Apparently, if you have good insurance, they will attempt to keep you for as long as possible. If you are admitted under the "Baker Act" it is a 72-hour hold. Do yourself (or your loved one) a favor and request form: Right to Release (they call the R2R form) at the exact 48-hour mark to ensure release at 72 hours.
3. They kept my loved one incarcerated (after the 72 hours) because they said that they do not discharge on weekends. LIE. When I pointed out that their facility policy does not supersede state law, they changed their story and said that it was because the Mon-Fri contracted doctor didn't leave release instructions and the Sat-Sun doctors didn't feel comfortable releasing. I called the Sheriff's office to report False Imprisonment and have that Sheriff's report.
4. I arrived at the facility with a copy of a Healthcare Surrogate, which they would not accept, and the Baker Act actual code to advise the facility that they had no legal right to keep my loved one past the 72 required hours. The woman at the front desk who Identified herself as the Managing Nurse (Flo) told me that she was not going to look at the code and that I was wasting my time. I sat in that lobby and called the Sheriff because the legal counsel I sought advised me to do so. I was at the facility for approximately five (5) hours.
5. I have video documentation of the facility letting my calls ring then disconnect repeatedly. I also have proof of calling from another line/phone and the facility immediately answering.
6. In our experience, they do not offer real assistance to their patients who are being held for the Baker Act, they do fly-by assessments and "group therapy" if the patient is interested, but my loved one never saw it occur and was not informed of it until I spoke to the therapist, Stephanie, to notify them.
7. It was a nightmare experience for my loved one and I. Now my loved one is reporting PTSD from the Central Florida Behavioral Hospital "care".
8. I have copious notes, names, dates, videos, screen shots and witnesses of the entire ordeal and have advised the insurance company of the situation as well as the admitting primary care provider who has promised that their office will never send another patient to that facility.
Closing advice: DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO THAT FACILITY. If, like me, it was too late, and they are already there: Demand to speak to the Patient Advocate (they (Flo) would not let us speak to one) and fill out the form Right to Release at the 48-hour mark or advise the Patient to fill it out whenever you speak to them.

My complaiment is about Cynthia. I speak in Spanish with her (I am from Brasil). I called her and said my name, she said: “ I DONT CARE como puedo ayudarte? I Said in ENGLISH: wait, did u say I DONT CARE????? She said: i said how can i help u sweet heart. And than was the most friendly that she had never been before. ITS UNNACEPTABLE. SHE WORKS IN A BEHAVIORAL OFFICE, could u guys provide some medicine and Therapy to her please, she needs it.

I know you may not have a choice where to bring your child, but if you... Do not bring them here.
Five hour wait to be admitted, locked in the psych unit with your child, no cell phones allowed - no way to make emergency calls... If you ask the staff is very rude. All the staff was actively joking and laughing, having a good time, while not helping anyone. After admission, they tell you a Dr will be in contact. It was almost impossible to get any contact with anyone. I called day after day after day. Left messages, sent emails, no one was interested in helping. I tried to advise them that they were giving my child far less meds than she had at home. I tried to pass on troubling information that we found in her room. I tried to pass on that her psychiatrist discharged her and said she was a danger to herself and to others. No one would listen. They released her with a crisis plan that would require her to have the things that got her into that predicament. No one contacted me about the plan. My child was in the same situation when she came out, danger to herself and to others and was picked up by the police and baker acted within 12 hours of release. They did call the day after release asking to be paid tho.
There is a lot more to my story and it is well documented. The actions of central Florida behavioral health, in my mind, were criminal and negligent.
If I could do no stars I would. This is probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. My loved one signed himself in voluntarily and after 24 hours realized that he would benefit more from an outpatient program so he can get actual therapy. I am a social worker and have been working very hard To get my loved one set up with the services he needs and we made the mistake of bringing him to a place where we were under the impression they would be doing what he needed, and that was not the case. They started the discharge request, but told him he had to wait until the next morning to speak with the psychiatrist. When the psychiatrist came, he told him he wanted him to stay one more day. I called and spoke with the nurse Joey to ask him to tell me legally how they are able to hold him if he is not baker acted. He said it’s a “process” and when I asked to be read the lines in the paperwork that state they can hold my loved one for 72 hours he told me to “google it”. So I did my research and found that if someone admits voluntarily and requests to discharge then the facility must discharge that person within 24 hours of their initial request and we were almost at the 24 hours. If the psychiatrist disagrees with the person discharging, then they can choose to petition for a baker act with the court. I called Joey back and explained this to him and he said he would talk to the doctor and call me back. My loved one called me back and told me he signed a paper agreeing to leave the next day because someone came to him and scared him by telling him they will baker act him in court. My loved one then decided to tell them he changed his mind and he would like to leave same day again. Joey spoke with the doctor and I got a call back from him stating that the doctor signed a “right to release form” but will still discharge home tomorrow. AGAIN, I asked Joey legally what gives them the right to hold him against his will if he is not baker acted. He talked in circles and told me he will talk to the doctor again. Then I get a call from my loved one saying they are going to baker act him!!! My loved one was not having active suicidal ideations or thoughts of harming himself or others, meaning that there are no grounds to baker act him. Of course when I Google it, I find out that if a doctor decides they want to petition for the baker act they have 24 hours to do so! I called Joey back and asked him if the doctor has decided to petition in order to buy himself 24 hours and will conveniently rescind the baker act in the morning so my loved one can discharge. He literally said “that is correct”. HOW UNETHICAL! I asked to speak to the psychiatrist so I can understand on what grounds he feels it is appropriate to baker act my loved one and he said “you can’t talk to him today he’s busy”.
Needless to say, I feel terrible for the people in there that aren’t able to fight for themselves, it is such a broken system. These people clearly don’t know the laws. I will continue to spread this message and have contacted a lawyer.

Straight up terrible facility. I will be looking into escalating this complaint with the BBB and FL board of mental health. Wife went in for a simple PHP intake ( that was to be fully remote mind you) and sat for over 5 hours. They obviously were trying to play games to get her admitted into residential , took her phone and keys. Feel like she may not have been released if I hadn’t called with a strong inquiry into how she was being treated. By the way , when I did call I was greeted by a rude individual who literally routed me to a voicemail.

I recommend Central Florida Behavioral Hospital to anyone seeking professional assistance with depression, addiction, or any other mental health concern. The hospital programs (both inpatient and remote) offer the patients strong counseling and skill building, as well as, appropriate action plans and resources for crisis scenarios. Access to psychiatric treatment plans, counselors, and nutrition are provided.
The therapists do a great job personalizing individual treatment plans to a diverse group of patients- it’s not “one size fits all”
The administration staff works directly with each patients’ insurance provider to ensure proper coverage and communication are in place. The office staff also works directly with employers to assist in returning those patients on leave of absence back to their jobs healthy in mind, ready to perform.
I have had a very positive experience with all aspects of this organization. They helped my healing - both physically and mentally.
Thank You CFBH!

At my appointment today I was told the new director said the clinicians can no longer prescribe Wellbutrin and Vyvanse (or any stimulant ADHD med) because of the possible side effects. I have been on this combination for 30 years without a problem. Patient care should be Individualized and not based on some sweeping generalization. I am furious. I have been functioning very well on my current medication regimen and it shouldn’t be changed because of this new director who knows nothing about me.

I Have to said his place had safe my son life several times. He had mental health problems plus addiction. He been there several times treat with respect and compassion I have mention David in the serenity unit his amazing and so caring I really appreciate this place. Wish they can help my son more to find a safe place for his mental issues and addiction before releasing him. This is Diane omar Perez mom thank you central Florida behavioral staff 😢😢🌷🌷🌷

I am so grateful to have found this clinic! From Camille being so nice and helpful, to Dr. Erica Diaz who is very knowledgeable and professional, to Cynthia who's the real MVP going above and beyond to help parents and patients with documents, copies, prescriptions and resources.

I have been going to the Pan American clinic for the past 6 months. Through this journey I can only speak to praises of all the team who have served me. Yes, this includes the interaction and care Cynthia has given to my wife and me. We moved to Florida in 2022. In seeking to find assistance Pan American was the entity willing to take me on as a patient. This in its own speaks value to me. From my initial sessions to this day, I have found ease in coordinating appointments, addressing any requests for refills on prescriptions and handling administrative paperwork I have found required by my employer. I do hope as others are seeking care, they will leverage this rating and find they too will receive attentive service in their journey.

Dr. Mendez has been helping me for many, many years. The staff is very nice and efficient, and it's rare that I have to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. Dr. Mendez is incredibly intelligent, kind, compassionate, and understanding. He takes the time to figure out what is going on with me and what medication, if any, might be helpful. I never feel rushed during my appointment. He also offers advice on lifestyle changes that could help with my condition. Most importantly, he and his staff treat me like a person, not just just a name. I've been to several psychiatrists in my adult life, but Dr. Mendez surpasses them all by far, which is why I have stayed with him for more years than I can remember. He also has helped three of my children as teens and young adults. Dr. Mendez is a blessing to my family, and especially to me. I give him my highest recommendation.

Better than Aspire aka Lakeside Behavioral,Tammy was a great psychiatrist as is Erika. Cynthia is doing a decent job,I don't understand the complaints, work can be stressful at times and she is human ,people need to cut some slack here.

When it comes to dealing with this facility I strongly suggest going to a different facility. My daughter had an appointment yesterday 11/7/2022 and upon check in and waiting her appointment was cancelled due to HER FATHERS NAME NOT BEING ON HER BIRTH CERTIFICATE. I am in the medical field and have been for 12 years. I have never denied a patient his or her visit because their parent was not on their birth certificate. My kids have been to doctors appointments, dermatologist, ENT appointments and never once have they been denied service due to their father not being on their birth certificate. The facility expects me to get a notarized letter for her father to take her to these appointments.
THIS IS ABSURD!!!!!!!! If your child needs care or a councilor or a physiatrist I would strongly suggest taking them elsewhere.
IN ORDER FOR ME TO LEAVE A REVIEW I HAD TO GIVE THEM A STAR. IF IT WASNT FOR THAT THEY WOULD HAVE RECEIVED 0 STARS.

I have been going to this clinic for x amount of years never had a bad experience with NO EMPLOYEES Including Cynthia . We as humans need to be careful with calling people out , especially who’s behind the desk , my daughter works at a pain management clinic and the humiliation and nasty ppl she has to deal with is horrendous and let alone the under pay …..as humans we do get out of character when things don't go our way. Maybe if we all act like grown adults we will be treated accordingly.

Started coming here about 2 maybe 3 years ago. everything was great at first but every since I moved I cannot travel as much back and forth recently I’ve came back to try and get some help for my mental state Cynthia has gotten very unprofessional she’s very rude and unsympathetic takes her stress out on patients they didnt even offer me counseling just shoves a prescription at you “here you go you should be fine” I’ve tried calling multiple times to reschedule a appointment and no one answers the phone! No problem this place doesn’t want to help anyone they just want money in their pockets. Save your time coming here.

Excellent professionals. Very respectful and they know what they are doing. When someone is or show outrageous behavior and negative feedback about an specific place or a professional, that person needs help STAT. Counselors in mental health can read people and they know when someone's behavior is innapropriate, they will let you know by dropping you from the program.

Some of the staff are lovely and I've had no problem with but if I could give 0 stars I would .My problem is with Cynthia who doesn't know how to treat or deal with the public. Being the first person you deal with when you walk in you would think they would have an educated person who KNOWS how to repectfully deal with the public in a calm and professional matter.Thats far from the case she is loud cuts you off puts the blame on you and I've sat in the waiting area while she has clients on speaker phone and everyone can hear private matters about medication and everything else which is a privacy violation since the other person doesn't know everyone is listening .Medical board will be contacted along with the executive officer Mr Ramirez

Cynthia is by far the most unprofessional coordinator/administrator I have ever had to deal with. The way she speaks on the phone, her attitude, her tone, the way she cuts you off while speaking, all of it is appalling. She works at a business that “attempts” to help people who are in desperate need of guidance-she should be released immediately and reflect at her actions towards others. Simply disgusting.
The therapist-and I use that word loosely, Luis should be ashamed of himself. Did not help or address certain detrimental matters with my children. Wasted 6 months.
Please do a sweep of your employees and clean house! Will never recommend this business to anyone!

Great support, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are extremely friendly and kind hearted.

Vanessa Bennet is the best person to talk with. She is really understanding, sweet and helpful. She really makes the difference! Great team!

CJ Varghese is an EXCELLENT counselor and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very personal and really digs into what ever the issues are. Wonderful counselor. Very thankful for CJ Varghese.

This place is a joke! The therapist they sent to my home was a young 24 year old who did not know what she was doing. She just sat and played board games with my son every session. She then told me 4 weeks in I didn’t need therapy, that I was fine. I reached out to her advisor with concerns of her “therapist “ education and requested someone with a little more experience. The advisor “Angelica” was not nice. She then told me she was discharging me from the program. We then had an argument because i couldnt understand why they were dropping me just because I requested someone new. Angelica then hung up on me. Do not go through these ppl for counseling they are not trying to help. The do not care about their patients. I didn’t want to give them one star but it wouldn’t let me post it without one.

Dr.Rasul, is extremely nice and polite. The place is extremely clean and the staff is nice. The place is modern with a calm feeling right when you walk through the door. The doctor listened to all my concerns, for about 45 minutes before making any decisions. I highly recommend Dr. Rasul.

This office has a dynamic range of counselors who are well trained and diverse in their approaches to helping the client. A "one size fits all" does NOT apply here. I am confident that you and your family will find just what you need for this season of your life.

Cutting edge new therapy offered such as ART, EMDR, EFT; just to name a few! Portuguese, Spanish and English available for professional counseling. A place to learn to live a life of a healthier you!

Horrible services- my therapist Cristina Ally was very unprofessional and immature. She made the whole session about her. Acted like a 10 year old girl

I have always felt very much at home and safe after speaking with CJ. He has an amazing gift of really listening to your heart and allowing you to be you. I always feel very enlightened, empowered and refreshed after our interactions. He's also one of the kindest and most gentle human beings I have met. He is definitely a lifelong friend!

CJ Varghese did not make the therapy sessions personalized and used a systematic approach that could be applied to anyone with the same complaint. He did not ask me personal questions and ignored the things that I said that were bothering me even though I brought them up several times. I left my therapy sessions feeling worse because he was condescending and judgmental in how he spoke and made me feel like the issues I was bringing up were unimportant. He didn't know major details in my life because he didn't listen to anything I was saying since he had his own agenda instead of building an agenda with me. All he cares about is money and I don't want to give specifics about this or it would identify me. Please don't waste your time and money
