What a gem. Most places that offer an ADHD assessment for children have a six-month wait time, don't take insurance, and I assume require in-person appointments. Not only did these guys take my insurance and book me a virtual appointment in two weeks, I felt the provider actually listened to me, and talked about lesser-known effects of ADHD in girls, namely emotional dysregulation and rejection sensitivity. I know so many parents in my same boat and will be recommending AHS to them. Take note, providers, this is how ADHD assessments should go!

I feel this place is a scam! I think they get your information and use it somehow for themselves or they families because the staff is mostly from Africa! I had a CSW ask a friend to find her some people to come there and she give him $20 per person! I haven't seen a Dr therapist housing counselor nothing
but 2 times since February 2023! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Not acceptable

This is the second day they said they would have a supervisor to call. No one has called yet. This place sucks no good make you more depressed. Don't go to them. They have no Therapist. They don't help you. Medicaid money going to waste. Shut them down

The worst bed side manners I have ever experienced. In addition, provider repeatedly sent prescriptions to pharmacy without necessary information required to fill script. When I call provider to inform them of missing info and have them resend prescription, they act annoyed and drag their feet. This had led me being without my medication for weeks on end on multiple occasions. Plus side, font desk staff are lovely.

I felt like I went to sleep an woke up in wakanda. I complained and the office manager said we get alot of complaints about certain nurse practitioners but they are smart an basically they want these jobs. I said the last one I had before the one I have now definitely didn't act smart. It doesn't matter if the way act puts a barrier between you an whatever help you need. This office is a joke and their social workers are just as bad as the nurse practitioners. It's been over a year an I still cant get a therapist with them.

I have been a patient at the wellness center and have been through 4 CSW because they all did not do anything for me at all.Completed notes as if they met with me and never did. I am currently homeless with medical problems that will not allow me to go to the shelter and I am having a hard time trying to get any guidance.

I am so lucky to benefit from this service, one of the only low-cost clinics I could find in the city. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with the therapists and have recommended to my partner and friends. We are blessed to have this in D.C.!

When I was seeking treatment the pandemic was still in full swing so most of the treatment centers in my local area were not accepting new patients (or did not accept my insurance). Access Health was able to accept me as a new patient via their Telehealth service very quickly. Even though the treatment centers in my local are have opened back up I am sticking with Access Health, they are fast, friendly, and flexible with scheduling

There's a 50% chance any time that you call, that the person who answers will not be able to find you in "the system" and your appointment has simply disappeared. Nobody will call you back. Your doctor will stop providing services to them and won't tell you. There is no urgency even in times the patient needs help.

Someone needs to shut this place down.

Do NOT use these services even if in network. They do not set follow-up appointments, have botched the Zoom telehealth meetings, and do not return calls or emails when a patient is in immediate need. If you have used them and have experienced any issues file a complaint for a DC Health Facility to ensure they no longer harm others.

I highly recommend this clinic for anyone with ADHD. A VERY fine medical practice for adult ADHD. I have been to some of the best specialists in the world for ADHD over the years though I’ve had my biggest breakthroughs while under the care of Dr. Khmurets here in Washington, DC. I am an international concert artist, a violinist and violist, and I had been ‘dealing’ with ADHD for years but Dr. Khmurets has helped me exponentially fine tune my treatment and I am feeling and perform better than I have ever before! Dr. Khmurets is an extremely knowledgeable professional and I find it very easy to discuss my issues and formulate a care plan with her. Additionally, Dr. Khmurets and office manager, Alexander, are easily reached for questions or concerns and have done nothing but make my appointments and care run smoothly.

DO NOT GO HERE. They do not respond to communication. More importantly, they will take your money and provide an 'assessment' that is not accepted by schools or psychiatrists, due to the insufficient licensure of the staff performing said 'assessments.' I am extremely unhappy with their service. This was a VERY expensive mistake.

Excellent Community Support Services Agency. The level of urgency, care, and support is impeccable. Most importantly, staff care about the clients they serve.

L.E.S provide great group services, I have a great community supporter,my therapist she is amazing,my housing lady she great always on top of her game ..they call to check on you . I am just so greatful to God and my case manager for referring me to them.

I no longer see Dr. Khmurets and have not been to her new office; however, I will say she honestly changed my life while I was in her care. It's so hard to find a mental health provider who actually listens and asks clarifying questions without trying to force your responses into some pre-conceived notion.

Dr. K always listened to my concerns and over time, was able to help me find a medication regimen that has exceeded my expectations. I feel she was pretty upfront as well, in terms of what was and was not possible based on my diagnosis. She also tried to keep my out-of-pocket costs down by prescribing medications I could actually afford.

Since I started this combination of meds last year, I'm now able to complete daily activities (getting out of bed, showering, cleaning my home), I earned a promotion at work, I've lost 20 pounds through exercise and diet, and my mood in general has been great. I don't feel like a zombie or exceedingly happy. I feel like my actual self and finally have a positive outlook on life - with an ability to plan ahead and really think about what's possible. Perhaps not everyone will have such a phenomenal treatment outcome, but I highly recommend Dr. Khmurets.
