Using North America as frame of reference.
You crowd near the door and nurse will send you in on priority order. Ppl just kind of guide you to the registration desk. Although I had tourist visa (e-visa) they didn't care or mention anything, but if u ask they will say no, only umrah visa accepted and that's what they have on posters on walls. We got sent to room 2 yellow area, where one lady did initial assessment then sent to final Dr for diagnosis.
They have no ticket system no order or systemic way of taking in patients, just need to express your emergency to get seen faster. No one except Dr and few staff speaks English. Dr we got was young lady we didn't feel confident in her diagnosis, she told us how to use medicine but pharmacist said to use it differently. The medicine and service was free of charge not sure if that hit my KSA insurance or just free. Total time spent was maybe like 1 hour or so after jumaha, but the patient was a baby so we got faster service.

bad experience, have to wait 3 hours to get in there. Dr play a phone? lol. dr and the stuff cant even speak english. idk how Saudi Gov manage this. idk if they real dr or not

a nonsense act by hospital literally if you don’t have a umrah visa and get into trouble they won’t check you out, I was amazed the most crowded place had no facilities.I am sorry but humanity in saudia is like looking sweet water in sea.
I am from Germany, and a Muslim I would suggest please bring own medicine and take consultation from own country doctor and bring medicine via someone else in very next flight, they don’t have facilities for pilgrims from EU Nationals.

I have made a mistake of bringing my 2 year old daughter along with for umrah, and yet what she got food poisoned after eating AlBaik fries.
Being in United Arab Emirates for about last five years and been to countries like United States and the UK, the kingdom is 200 years behind in the health sector. I would rather pray in my hometown next time, because with this state of a country's health system it is suicide visiting such country.

I also feel sad for many expats residing in the kingdom they have to live in stone age for the sake of few extra buckets which they get over their home countries. They better should try in countries like Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE etc.

Customer service is not their best. Their follow through of procedures are not professional nor really sanitary, and it is very hard to contact them. There is not appropriate phone number to reach them. As a foreigner I was recommended this facility and in good hopes to get better treatment, however, that never happened. Also, I was told I would get my results at inconsistent time intervals and up to now I don't have my results.
No humanity exists here. Waited for 1.5 hours in emergency and no body did nothing.
Very disappointed. I took patient with severe cough, fever and ear pain. Waited there for about an hour and thy said they did not entertain such cases like fever or cough but only emergency. On the other hand, all staff speak arabic only.
Anyone have experience for Dialysis centre? From Pakistan for umerah visa? And how much cost?
Worst experience ever. The staff is really rude, and no one takes proper care of you. Even the doctors don’t communicate effectively. There is no system in place, and no instructions are given. They completely lack the moral character that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to have.

Great Hospital for Eye
Terrible experience. They treat humans as animals. The lady who took the blood, could not find the vein and kept moving the needle. It was gruesome. Stay away from this hospital.
The facilities available are below average. After queuing in lines for like hours they only prescribe third class version of Panadol ( Paracetamol ) to cover up fever, chest infection, runny nose , back pain and similar symptoms. The priority is given to Arabs as I experienced they were treated without queuing and other formalities. Non Arab people are victims of nepotism. Pilgrims should be treated better as they already have payed for health insurance at time of visa approval. Poor management and services by Saudi Government! Horrible experience.

I didn’t expect this kind of experience from a government hospital of Saudi Arabia. The staffs are not helpful and don’t know how to deal with a patient with care and kind. I am admitting here with my sister for two days. I have to go to the counter and call any nurse and have to wait there to remove the drip wire from my sister’s syringe all the time.
And now *2.41 am* I am sitting outside with fever and severe through pain because of the high level of Air condition providence by the hospital. I ask around 10 staffs to reduce it because it is disturbing the patient also. There should be something to control it. Everyone cannot bare the same amount of temperature or cold. I wonder when they said it is automatic and cannot control as your wish. One of the staff rudely behaved and said that, I am busy with my patient and this is not something urgent. Wallah there is no enough staffs to deal with us.
On the other hand, I came for Umrah and some facilities are beyond my expectation such as cleanliness and food.
I want the authority to take an action on the above mentioned matter. unless it will ruin the good face of the country in international people 🙏🏻

This place is completely hell. I went there with my 2.5 yrs old child at 9.00pm on 6th September'23 to get Rabis vaccine(2nd dose). After requesting several times and several doctors they ignored to give the vaccine. We went to Medina for Umrah. My hotel was in haram area. After explaining all these they told me to go another hospital to get the vaccine because, they were busy with other patients( as per their saying). I had become so helpless because, I didn't know much about that locality and my another 5 yrs old child was also with me. I was about to cry - what to do. At last, i was bound to go another hospital with my children that night. This was a horrible experience.
I want to ask the authority- Why is this negligence towards the Umrah patients? Thousands of people go to perform Umrah throughout the year from my country. If the Saudi health sector isn't smooth enough to the Umrah pilgrims then people will be in a fix while staying there for Umrah.

DO NOT come here if you are on a TOURIST VISA, you'll be turned away and asked to go private! Why say health insurance is included when booking the eVisa??

Lack of communication and cleanliness, especially kidneys dialysis.
Alhumdulillah I received excellent treatment from the surgeon and hospital staff. I came for umrah and had a severe brain hemorrhage. The scan result revealed that I was not treatable and the good surgeon operated on me anyway. Today alhumdulillah I am as I was before. The surgeon did an excellent job and the nurses were excellent in their tasks taking into account the shortage of resources. I am grateful to the hospital staff for their support and service in getting me up and running. May ALMIGHTY Allah reward them with immense barakah and hidaayat. May Allah paak return me and my family repeatedly to madeenah shareef especially to return to our eternal abode. Aameen

Used this hospital as an emergency and came via the ambulance. After reading the reviews I was not expecting much, but I have to say we must have been lucky. As we entered we were greeted by the main doctor on site Dr Yusuf. He immediately reassured us that everything would be ok. It was great to know that he was from the UK, spoke fluent english and was genuine in making sure we got the best care.
Tests had to be run, this was done by the nurse - she didn't speak any english and was pretty rough. The other attendents varied in the level of english skills.
You need to have your passport, visa documents and health insurance so make sure to take them before you go. That part you are pretty much trying to figure out what the admin are saying as they speak minimal english.
Overall there is a lot of waiting and the hospital does not look in the best shape compared to say the UK.
However saying that Dr Yusuf showed care throughout and even walked us out to the door when we were being discharged. For this reason I am rating this experience 4 out 5.

Non saudi residents need to pay for the treatment, and the employee of payment collection department of the night shift was really irresponsible and unprofessional person. He must be fired immediately because he is always not in his office, The duty manager is also not available to attend patients' complaints. I waited 3 hours to approach the doctor, and my son was on emergency bed, and the nurse was not giving him the IV injections and they were asking to pay the money, and that non serious employee was not in his office to take the payment and provide mei the payment receipt. He will be responsible on the day of judgment In Sha Allah, and I will never forgive him
Such a big hospital must have professional employees and fire all the no serious employees immediately if the hospital management is concerned about hospital image.

Please do not come to this place if you have an emergency. For the sake of your child and your sanity, if possible, go to a private clinic. They don't take matters seriously here. I had a bad experience here at the ER when I was pregnant and a TERRIBLE one at the ER for my newborn.
My 4 day old baby was unresponsive, almost like he was in a coma, and didn't eat for a total of 11 hours. They made us wait many hours all the while time kept passing without him eating. They didn't treat his case with urgency. After waiting to be seen for hours, they drew his blood and wanted to make us wait even longer. They did absolutely nothing to help him. He showed signs of dehydration and no one was concerned. We finally left when we realized these people won't take his case seriously. We went to another hospital and they fed him immediately. Allah knows best as to how long these people would have taken to help my baby if we waited on them. Totally USELESS!

I had a brain hemorrhage and they operated on me in May.
The surgeon did an excellent job and now I am as normal.
I am grateful for the service and hospitality. After all this is the city of madeenah shareef and I have absolutely no reason to complain.
My family gave many gifts to the surgeon and hospital staff.

Pathetic service for umrah patients. My son(infant) is suffering from fever and cold and cough and we are sitting here from last 3hrs and they gave us a number which is after 35 numbers , and these 35 patients are not here. And now when I checked, last 10 numbers are still same and we are just waiting and waiting for no reason. These saudis may think other ppl are not human and they are only vip treating their own race. Very disappointed low level of service. Please treat all human equally or give hospital management to any European company.
Worst hospital in the world, wait for 5 hours then u don't get a proper check up, then after 3 or 4 useless appointments, you're told to get a surgery and that is two or 3 months later, worst hospital in the world!
The whole healthcare system is well structured, internally the hospital and healthcare processes are messy. No one is ever punctual and no one is in their intended place..

One of the worst hospitals I have ever been into in my entire life. I hope we never have to go to that place again.
Patients coming from villages and very far cities for an appointment to do analysis while they are fasting early morning and careless worker said machine is not working but you can stay in waiting coz we don't know maybe machine will be fix today or week or month. No humanity in this ppl heart.
Good Hospital. My son treated for free as we were there for Umrah. Nurses and doctors know english but security and administration staff do not know english.

My mother Zainab khatoon admitted in ohud hospital on 4th February during perfrorm umrah due to H1 virus Alhamdulillah now she is better, very well treatment and care by doctors and sisters, I salute to them and hopeful to see my mother soon.
