French onion soup was great. French fries are equally amazing. The mashed potatoes are good. The coq au vin was okay to me, but my companion thought it was pretty good. Overall, a good meal. Prices are a bit high, so bring cash.

Very nice bistro on Smith Street. I went there as part of a group of 6. We all greatly enjoyed our brunch meals. The iced coffee wasn’t to my flavor profile, but it was good.

We held our ceremony and reception at Bacchus for our intimate (70 person) wedding a month ago - and my husband and I (along with our guests) had a wonderful experience.

Our planning period was around 6-7 months, and the whole process was fairly easy and low-key. I researched other restaurants/venues in Brooklyn, and it was the most affordable/had the best value out of all the options we looked into.

We met with Meryl (the Bacchus coordinator) a few times and she was great to work with. We went in for a tasting, and the food was incredible.

On the day of, the weather was unexpectedly awful and extremely windy, and Meryl and the Bacchus crew were able to seamlessly adjust the seating last minute.

The venue itself is lovely, so we didn't have to do much for decorations and just ordered flowers for the tables. The wine bar section just got renovated literally a day or two before our wedding - and it was beautiful!

We highly recommend Bacchus as a wedding venue!!

We had a beautiful dining experience in the garden. The 2019 Saint Emilion was perfect. We split a salad, and enjoyed the duck and the papardelle with poached egg. Can’t wait for our next date night at French Louie.

We had our baby shower here in October 2023. So this review is long overdue.

I was set on the event being outdoors, in the backyard area. Unfortunately, on the day of, we got hit with heavy rain.

The Bacchus team was so amazing and accommodating. I chose Bacchus because they do such beautiful outdoor events. But with the way they improvised, making an outdoor event into an indoor one, with such short notice, was incredible. I believe I wound up liking the indoor aspect even more!

Our baby shower hosted 50 people. Bacchus started with an outdoor covered cocktail hour, with a specialty drink in our honor. After which, our guests were led into the indoor dining area set up.

We’ve eaten here both before and after our baby shower. So we knew the food would be great. Nonetheless we were impressed and so were our guests.

Thank you Bacchus and Meryl!

We chose the 3 course pre fixe menu for the evening before our show at BAM. Food is good and the service is great. Dessert, so so.

While waiting for our bottle of red wine to breath, our waiter come by with a glass of bubbles for each on the house.

I would definitely recommend this place for pre show dinner.

French restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere serving delicious food. My roommate loved his dish (Coq Au Vin) and I enjoyed my octopus, although I wish it was crispier with a larger side (three creamer potato's was a bit small)

I appreciated the attentiveness of the wait staff but did feel a little rushed eating here, with the entrees coming out 10-15 minutes after we ordered (a bit fast for a higher priced spot)

Overall it’s a cute spot serving delicious food and definitely worth a visit if you live in the area. Would recommend for a romantic night or just as a spot to catch up with some friends or family

The food is delicious! And the crepes are excellent! I had the buckwheat crepe with mushrooms, caramelized onions, and smoked salmon, it was delicious.
The cappuccino is good, but very strong.

I will be coming be back to this restaurant.
Been here twice for brunch and dinner, and it’s been a 10/10 experience both times! The service is excellent and every single dish we’ve has been absolutely amazing. The restaurant itself is also extremely cute. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back!!

I came here for brunch and had the Eggs Louie which was pretty good. I switched out the poached eggs for eggs scrambled soft. The buttery croissant was the star of the meal for me. I also ordered the Creme Brûlée french toast. It was just ok, the texture was nice but the sweetness wasn’t there as much as I expected.

What a cute place! Cozy French cafe vibes. Upon doing a little research, it seems like it’s been around for a while. They have a nice outdoor seating area in the back but it was raining so I sat at a small table by a window to people watch.
Ordered a small orange juice and the eggs florentine. The cheddar jalapeño biscuit that comes with was so delicious! The eggs were perfectly cooked. The OJ was freshly squeezed which was a real treat.
Didn’t catch the server’s name but service was excellent. I’ve dined in twice before and service has always been welcoming, kind, and attentive.
Also peeped some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies being left out to cool and they looked and smelled amazing! I’ll have to grab one the next time I stop by.

Stopped in this evening for dinner after work with a friend. The atmosphere was lovely, with a cozy welcoming vibe. The service was excellent, with pleasant staff. The food was good.
It was fresh, delicately flavored and beautifully presented.

My sea bass had a couple of small bones, but I easily removed them myself. I experimented with the drink I ordered and discovered the smokiness wasn't to my taste, which is a personal preference. It was well made and looked nice. Although I may return again in the summer to try another dish, I don't think French cuisine is a favorite of mine. Give it a try and decide for yourself.

The atmosphere was very intimate and cozy, and we were there only a couple hours before close so it wasn't super busy. Our server was pretty unfriendly but otherwise the experience was good! the cocktails were pretty good but dinner and dessert were very very tasty.

This place is so cute and you can tell is a neighborhood gem. I went for a late Saturday brunch as a table of 9. Our group was loud and energetic and the wait staff was just so incredibly accommodating.

We were busy talking so I didn’t take enough pictures but the food was absolutely incredible. They do everything to perfection. The French onion soup was out of this world. The espresso martini was smooth and not too sweet. The portions were perfect.

They even treated our group to a round of shots as a thank you for our business. The waitstaff for a group this large truly was so incredibly accommodating. Thank you for having us!

This place is absolutely amazing! Their sunset happy hour deal which includes a variety of cocktails, pitchers, and wines is extremely affordable accompanied by 8-10$ small plates. Do not pass up on the octopus, fries, or french onion soup. The staff are super friendly and accommodated our group of 12 on a day’s notice.

Exceptional in every aspect!!

We were greeted very warmly and seated promptly. My mom uses a wheelchair, the staff is truly outstanding, even went outside to help fold and bring inside. Really appreciate!!

Madison walked us through the menu and specials.

Big fan of their Chocolat Chaud, perfect with Grand Marnier.

Escargot is an absolute must, we would have ordered two if we didn’t get Foie Gras and Tarte Flambee.

For mains we ordered to share Salmon Linguini, Berkshire Pork Chop, Beef Borguignon and Steak Frites. The linguini sauce is a delight, the meats were surprisingly tender/juicy and the lentils were amazing. Every dish was so delicious, we finished every bite.

For desserts, we enjoyed Apple Tartin and Chestnut Crepe. Perfect balance of flavors and emphasis on natural sweetness instead of adding too much sugar.

Instant favorite and for sure we will be back!!

Came here for a night cap during the middle of the week. Cute restaurant, dimly lit and romantic. Liked our drinks. I got the absinthe frappe which tasted like a licorice mojito. Tried escargot for the first time and it was alright but the green sauce that they put on top of it was amazing. Glad I went. I plan to go again in a few days to try more food and to go to speakeasy for burlesque show

5 stars! Beautiful, high quality, professional and affordable.

We cannot express enough how ecstatic we were with Bacchus hosting our wedding. This was the absolute best decision we could have made. Not only were they extremely affordable with highly competitive pricing for the area, but the quality of the food, treatment, service and venue was unbeatable. Our dream Brooklyn wedding was made a reality (in only 8 months!) because of Bacchus.

The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond. Each and every one of them. They were completely hands on every step of the way and covered every detail, even the ones we didn’t think of. Our decor was assembled and put up for us. All the drinks we wanted were served. Every allergy (and there were many) was perfectly accommodated. The wine selection was top tier! Thank you, Kaza! And the food!! Wow! Chef’s kiss. Our guests continue to talk about it to this day.

The space is so minimalistic, beautiful and rustic. Very little needed to be added to complete our vision. We were even supplied with a beautiful cage for our cards so we did not have to buy our own. My guests were so well taken care. WE were so well taken care of! They were with us every step of the way and with the best and kindest attitudes, it’s almost hard to believe.

A very special thank you to Meryl for her leadership, kindness, attention to detail and cool control. Her support was truly priceless and allowed us to just be present on our special day. We could not recommend Bacchus more. Truly. A million thanks and a lifetime of memories made. We’ve shared some of our favorite pictures to reflect our deep gratitude.

Sincerely,

Chrystelle & Ra

At [Restaurant Name], the culinary experience surpassed all expectations. As an appetizer octopus and steak tartare is a must. The seared scallops was a delightful main dish, perfectly cooked and complemented by a nuanced combination of flavors. The roasted chicken with risotto stole the show – the chicken was succulent, the risotto creamy, and the blend of textures was exquisite. Not to be outdone, the lamb chop main course showcased the chef’s expertise, presenting a tender and flavorful delight. Each dish, from the scallops to the lamb chop, reflected the restaurant’s commitment to crafting a culinary journey that lingers in the memory.

Nice little french restaurant with a penchant for witty details. The waiters were very kind and attentive. In the back there are small tables where u almost feel like u’r in paris. Food is available at 5pm, we had a relaxed sunday brunch at 3pm. The hamburger was really tasty and the fries were excellent « frenchish ». The crepe needs a bit more work, but good enough for nyc. check out the bathroom wallpaper😉

This is my 3rd time at Le Crocodile and to start the service was exceptional! We came for brunch and enjoyed several delicious meals. We ordered the French toast, the omelette which was exceptionally fluffy and filling. For the mains we shared the chicken jus, and the steak frites. The chicken is always a highlight it is extremely juicy with perfect crunchy skin perfect balance. Ended our meal with the date pudding and ice cream perfect blend of sweet and salty

I love that the Adore waitress was super nice. The food was ridiculously good. It was so well portioned the portions were very big. The drinks were a bit small but they were tasty. The pickle okra was incredible. I have never tried that before, and the Spanish Dominican culture we eat this a lot, but never like this, so it was a great surprising new taste. I love how the waitress was very attentive and gave us enough time. They also had good energy in the restaurant. I really enjoyed this place. The food was very fresh. It was very well plated. The eggs were cook perfectly.

We did a buyout of Bacchus's wine room (for cocktail hour) and dining room (for dinner) to celebrate our elopement with our friends and family. It was an intimate affair with only 37 of us dining that evening and was an absolutely perfect evening, from the food, the drinks, the coordination, music and more. Meryl, who worked with us to plan our event, was incredible and made our vision for the evening come true.

Planning & Coordination: Meryl was fantastic. She was attentive in talking through our plans for the evening and flexible with accommodating any special asks for the evening to really make the event special for our guests. She was especially helpful in figuring out the right seating arrangement for our guests to ensure that the room felt connected and cohesive. Communication was so easy and all the final planning in the days leading up to the event was done so effortlessly that when the day came, there was nothing to worry about. We were able to enjoy the evening with our guests.

Food: Excellent. Our guests LOVED the food. We served the meal family style so everyone had a little bit of everything. We have friends that are saying they'll go back for dinner soon.

Staff: The staff was amazing, they were attentive and well-coordinated. Everything flowed so well.

Atmosphere: It was a really sweet, intimate, romantic evening. We had lots of candles everywhere (both supplied by myself and Bacchus) and it made the room look so beautiful.

If you ever need to host an intimate dinner in Brooklyn, I highly recommend inquiring with Bacchus. Or if you just want to have a delicious dinner (or brunch), definitely go too! I cannot wait to go back.

I ate at this restaurant and had a bad experience only to find out some of my friends had eaten there too and also hated it. There are very few vegan options, which is fine, except for the fact that our server didn’t seem to know what vegan meant and tried to recommend a salad with cheese on it to me. No one came to check up on us after our food was brought out and it took a while and some aggressive flagging just to get a side order of fries. This could’ve been because of plain old poor service but I have a personal theory that the French just don’t care about their guests.

The stunning architecture of this property is such an incredible draw, particularly the exterior masonry, as well as the interior historical elements restored as part of the restaurant. My lunch dining experience was absolute perfection. Ordered the French Onion Soup, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, Maple Creme Brûlée for desert. The food was a pure gustatory delight and the service was impeccable. Beautiful holiday wreaths also tastefully adorned the space to celebrate the holiday season. When they dimmed the lights as the sun set, the ambiance was quite magical. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Great service. My daughter loved the fries. I had the buckwheat crepe with 3 options to stuff in, which I chose goat cheese, spinach and ratatouille! Magnefique! I also loved all the art and posters on the walls and the size and atmosphere of the place. I also noticed they have a back area that is nice when the weather is agreeable.
Fantastic happy hour (food & drinks) at the bar all night!
The food was delicious, the bartender was super attentive and it had a very cozy feel and had great holiday decor. Definitely recommend!
found this place after searching brunch in the area and do not regret it at all!

the decor and inside was super cozy and aesthetic. i loved the ambiance and vibes of all the plants everywhere!

the staff were also super friendly and tended to us in a respectful amount of time.

we got the eggs benedict, shakshuka, boursin omelette and some sort of sandwich which i’m now forgetting the name of.

everything was delicious but i would highly recommend the boursin omelette and shakshuka. those dishes were definitely the highlight of our meal! the potatoes on the side were also another highlight that i would recommend.

i would definitely come back and would love to try their dinner menu!

Absolutely beautiful vintage and plant filled space! We tried a latte, french toast, and a sandwich but the french toast was the star. The carmelized bananas and fresh cream really elevated the dish. I would come here for breakfast/brunch since the lunch and dinner menu didn’t seem as good.

I really enjoyed the escargot. It came out sizzling hot so I would just advise to let it cool down first. Other than that the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Our waitress Ude was amazing she was so funny and her French accent really made the food sound even better. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice Thanksgiving dinner with a lot of original dishes. Turkey was kind of dry though and it didn’t feel like it was worth the expense. Best was the soup and the trout but everything else while very good was not as good as hoped. Sat the end of the bar which was okay but they should have told us before we came that they could not accommodate our seating request.

One of the coziest nooks in Brooklyn during the winter, and most refreshing patios during the summer. The menu changes just often enough to keep you interested, and the waitstaff treats everyone like family. 10/10 recommend any time they are open, and you are in Bushwick!

Much hyped on the socials but it delivers. The venue boasts a wall of tables for two with banquet seating and an outdoor dining space. The service is attentive without hovering. You're greeted by the cheery barstaff then the host guides you to your table. The menu is small but the execution is near perfect. Despite the size, the restaurant is family friendly and not very loud when full. It fills up fast so reservations are absolutely recommended.
I saw the place while driving looking for a quick place to grab a bite nearby. As soon as you enter the atmosphere feels very welcoming and cozy. My girlfriend and I ordered four appetizers, the grill octopus, little gem salad , some oysters and of course cantaloupe never go wrong with a french clásico the escargots. My favorite out of all of them was the grilled octopus with the salad.
We ordered the juliette spritz and a glass of pinot noir.
For our entree we got the diver scallops and the lamb burger, which the burger was cooked to perfection and the scallops as well.
Definitely worth giving out a try. Without knowing my girlfriend and I had a amazing date at Juliettes

The staff were very helpful and attentive. Emily D was our server 😀

French Louie is perfect for a special occasion, casual brunch or a quick drink. Their food is special without being fussy and they have consistent staples with a few rotating, seasonal options.

Last night I enjoyed gougeres and mussels in a broth of cider, mustard crème fraiche and leeks that was so rich and well balanced. They also had a seasonal squash and apple soup with oat milk foam as a riff on a cappuccino, with a crunchy and sweet pistachio biscotti. Great food and flavor combinations, drinks and vibes!! Make a reservation!

I never give reviews, but this place is criminally underrated. Only speaking on the food, as I only tasted the house wine so I don’t think that’d be a fair judgement. Our dinner was delicious. My boyfriend got the all-you-can-eat mussels, and they were SO good. And you can’t beat the price (if you’ve got a big enough appetite to indulge in at least two portions). We’re also pretty harsh critics of French fries, and their’s were great. Nothing to write home about, but exactly what you’d want when ordering fries at dinner. The broth the mussels are in is honestly chuggable on its own, but compliment the mussels so so well. I got the fish of the day (can’t remember what fish it was), but it was DELICIOUS. The full plate of flavors are honestly magical. So light but so satisfying. I think about it often. Service could have been a bit more engaged/pleasant, but everyone has off days and it’s not enough to knock it down a star. Go here. It’s vastly better than the other French spot nearby.
I photographed this couples beautiful wedding here in the fall. I highly recommend it! The food and atmosphere are amazing. I love how versatile the venue is! You can transforms it into an outdoor and indoor dance floor at the end of the night. ig @konradbrattke

The dishes were absolutely beautiful, and every bite was heavenly.

The wonderful and kind staff create a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, (we unfortunately didn’t catch our server’s name: great recommendations, thank you so much for today!))

So many interesting options on the menu, I personally had the egg Florentine: warm, crispy biscuit bread with garlic and a perfectly poached egg topped with a creamy sauce.. so delicious.
And for dessert: macadamia and cherry cookie - there’s no point in eating any cookies if they aren’t THIS delicious!

Merci Beaucoup for your talent and hospitality! We shall return!
Very late review, went July of last year for my birthday, but still. Awesome. Amazing food and drinks. As someone with a seafood allergy, disappointed that their chicken dish contained a fish sauce. Had the steak frites which was well seasoned and tender. Casio Pepe orzo was good too
The atmosphere was so cute especially at night with all the plants. They have a super cute sunroom. The food was good but a little expensive. I didn’t get anything to drink but they did have a large drink selection and my friends said they were really tasty and creative. Very cute restaurant, nice place to come with friends. French onion soup was out of this world! I also got the scallops, they were great at first bite but the flavor fatigue hit fast with the amount of salt used.

Had a great time here (it was also my first time). I loved all the cocktails because they were made well. The staff was very warm, friendly, and helpful whenever I had a question about their menu.

I highly recommend their octopus appetizer. Usually a lot of places mess up cooking octopus (mainly over cooking it to rubber), but they cooked it just right.

I highly recommend coming here.

The food here was just okay, I had the duck which came out really dry and tasted as if it was possibly frozen? The dish itself looked like a thanksgiving plate with everything piled on one dish. Not to mention it was $37 for this dry frozen duck, I don’t ever mind paying that for food but I mind when the food just isn’t up to par. On the other hand service was great and the bartender makes an awesome Negroni! Definitely recommend for drinks and maybe an app but not the duck!

If you happen to be in the Boerum Hill area I would stop by and grab the salmon burger. It was juicy, lemony and super fresh. The calamari was also very well done, crispy and the sauce that comes with it was tangy and mildly spicy. I was not the biggest fan of the charcuterie board we got. The meats were regular cuts of deli meat and a patee that was good but I have no idea what it was made from. I still ate it though- it’s an acquired taste. I wouldn’t recommend it but if you’re in need to grab something to share then that’s a good idea.
Always a lovely experience here! Ambiance is perfect, service is friendly and inviting, and the food is always great. Had a beautiful sparkling rose with the pumpkin & carrot soup and the Coq au Vin for dinner with a Pinot/Gamay blend, can't go wrong! Thanks Mominette!
Food:
- French Onion Soup - Good flavor profile
- Escargot - Good flavor
- Mominette Burger - Good, average burger, nothing special.
- Coq Au Vin - Good
- Duck Breast - Good (skin crispy!, yet they could have render the fat a bit more to my tasting).
Service: The service is perfect for me. The servers will leave you alone and will come to you upon request. It's not your typical American restaurant that its about turning tables. Here you will get to chill and spend time with your love ones and friends without feeling being monitored.
Ambiance: It's your Brooklyn restaurant standard, nothing grand (but the food is special), it is quaint and the loudness level is low which you can actually hear conversations with your group.

Cute little neighborhood gem — so pleasantly delicious! French Louie has a beautiful, intimate setting with great food. I got the Bavette steak frites for dinner (comes with a really yummy and fresh mixed salad. Topped with pickles tho so if you don’t like pickles, I’d tell them!). The fries are hand cut and so good. For lunch I got the trout po boy, also delicious and came with fries. My husband got a vegetable dish that I can’t remember the name of. It was good but we both admitted my po boy was better. We ordered a side of fries. Very intimate and chill. Perfect date night

This place is as French as can be when you're in Brooklyn. The ambience, the decor, the music, the bottles on display, the food and drink menu.

I had the tartar, and it was great! Will come back if I'm in the area again!
Cute little restaurant with amazing plant life ( don’t take reservations) but was worth the little wait. Rather quick service and cute place for brunch. Enjoyed the croquet sand which so cheesy and split the kale Cesar. Overall recommend.

Solid French spot tucked away in Bushwick! Went for Brunch, so can’t speak for their dinner- but was better than I expected! Got the chorizo eggs dish, which was like a Benedict with slices of chorizo on top of potato latkes, with perfectly poached eggs on top. It tasted good, but I don’t think it has to be $20. Same for the chickpea fries-very good-tad salty-but shouldn’t be $9. So that’s why Le Garage gets 4 stars- solid food but nothing crazy amazing and pricey.

Loved this place. Beautiful space and excellent service. I’d describe the menu as upscale brasserie. I started with escargot which were not the traditional but in lovely Pernod sauce - excellent. And then went with the roast chicken and frites - their signature. I don’t usually order chicken out but this was really good - so tender and flavorful. I’ll be back.

The spring risotto is absolutely bomb! Delicious truffle oil smell and great vegetarian dish to try! The salmon tartare is too salty. But the RISOTTO is a must try!!!!! Perfect dish for summer

Wandered into this wonderful little French cafe, right in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, while awaiting my bike repair. Really neat place, they even have whicker chairs! And also, a back yard area. Great comfort food, great service, great atmosphere—I’ll be back for brunch. Gotta try the French Toast! And the owner personally bakes all the cookies!!!!

Loved dining here. Came for brunch and got the 1/4 chicken and omelet as well as the ice cream for dessert. This place did not disappoint! The chicken sauce was so flavorful that we didn’t ask for ketchup on the side for our fries, we just dipped them right in, and it was delicious. The omelet was perfect in terms of flavor and texture, even the side salad it came with was wonderfully dressed. And to finish it all off we had some delicious ice cream. HIGHLY recommend

This place has some good drinks, fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Drinks are great and have a strong French theme with name and style. I had three cocktails and a bowl of fries with a friend. Fun time and will go back.

We came here for our anniversary dinner, the food was so good, friendly staff. You can see from my pics, the rib eye was so tender and juicy, sided with potatoes and mushrooms, yummy! The French bread love it! Overall 5/5 we will be back again for sure.

Fradei is impressive. The food was incredible, with unexpected yet delicious flavors, like in the wagyu beef tartare with sesame seeds. Please go try their food. The ambient is a little cramped and not much effort was put into the decor, which is fine. We had to wait for 30 minutes for our reserved tables, but service flowed wonderfully once we were sat down.

A nice laid back restaurant. The food and cocktails were great. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing afternoon. We went for late lunch and the service was a little slow, however we didn't complain as the ambience was nice. The outside tables are spaced out enough unlike the cluttered NYC places.

This is a cool local spot! I ordered the steak tartar and fries. The tartar is ok, a little plain. Fries amazing, drinks are great! The ambiance kinda has a feel of your rich friends’ house in the midwestern suburbs in 2009 which is fun. Good spot to hang and have some drinks!

The intimate space is warm and inviting, and might be the smallest restaurant I have ever seen, in the best way. Book a resy here for a romantic date night or the perfect evening of exploring natural wines with good food and friends.
Food:
•Red Endive - This salad was insanely good and definitely inspired me to try to recreate it at home. Served with bon bon dates, tango mandarin, and verbena. Each leaf was perfectly coated with the most delicate and flavorful dressing. So perfect
•Yellowfin Tuna - Amazing quality tuna served with a lovely horseradish cream. Definitely get this!
•Bucatini - This nautical pasta had calatura di alici, dulse, and egg yolk woven throughout. Very delicious if you are looking for seafood pasta vibes.
•Sunchoke Scarpinocc - This pasta was seriously delicious with chestnut, chanterelles, and pecorino.
Perfect comforting pasta dish for a rainy night.

Drinks:
I started with a glass of Ca'Liptra Arancio made with 70% Malvasia Toscana, 27% Trebbiano Toscano, and 3% Sangiovese from their estate in Cupramontana, one of the highest-quality villages in Verdiccio die Castelli di Jesi.
This wine offered a great balance between delicate aromatics and grippy tannins from the skin contact.
I also tried an amazing Chardonnay from La Fermented e Jeanne in Bugey. I think this is only the second Chardonnay I have trie from Bugey, and it might be one of my favorite places for this grape. Perfect tension between a round, oily texture and razor sharp acidity, alongside some stellar aromatics. I am always down for some Bugey.
Ended the night with a lovely blend of 50% Mencia and 50% Albarin Tinto from the Asturias region of Spain.

One of my fave bars from my old neighborhood! The staff is super friendly and great mixologist so all my cocktails were always delicious. The place is covered in plants, need I say more?! Pretty tasty bar food and the wallpaper in the bathroom has Biggie in its wallpaper. The perfect gem!

Was nearby in Brooklyn , I knew this place has been awarded Michelin Star so had to check it out .

The staff was very friendly , the staff let us sit and wait till they started serving dinner. ( The dinner menu was much better than the mid day menu ).

Food was definitely solid . Salad was very nice . I’ve had better steak , fries were good , would happily come back due to the atmosphere. Would like to try some other items in the menu .

All the servers and bartenders were beyond polite! Austin (I hope I remember his name correctly) was an absolute doll. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

We had an amazing brunch experience at Chez Moi! The Croque Madame, Egg White Frittata, Homemade Scones and cappuccino were all delicious. The service was great, and the prices were fair for the quality. The cozy and tasteful atmosphere made it even better. We definitely plan to return!

Came here for a weekday date night at 9pm since it so hard to get reservations. Thought the food was pretty good but didn’t knock my socks off and it was pretty pricey / small portions. My favorite was the kumquat salad - really unique and a creative way to eat the fruit. I really didn’t enjoy the hard bread they served w the cheese.

My favorite neighborhood French brassiere. Today I had the unlimited mussels with potatoes and a glass of white wine. The mussels were delicious and the bread was a great combo to soak up all of the juices the mussels were cooked in. The potatoes were prepared amazingly with a nice crunch. The crème brûlée was just the perfect amount of sweet, without feeling guilty for consuming!

Definitely a recommend if your in the neighborhood and looking for a great value meal.

Brunch on the weekend is also great and worth a trip.

Stopped in here for drinks and appetizers and sat at the bar. The lighting is low, music at a good level, & the service was great. The calamari was perfection, French fries were pretty basic for truffle fries. But overall this is a great spot for quick bite, a date night, or solo dinner/drinks.

Chez Moi is the perfect place for a beautiful date night or get together. They have a small munu that in my experience has been executed flawlessly and a cozy yet elevated atmosphere. The service is wonderful and has become a spot my boyfriend and I regularly frequent. Highly recommend!

Went for brunch - simple restaurant inspired from French brasserie. No frills place that does the job and makes you feel in a true brasserie. Dishes were quite good, coffee was decent but nothing exceptional.

Such a cute place for a date or just friends hangout.
Recommend - the cocktails. I love the menu gives guidance such as “if you are a whiskey sour/express martini drinker this is for you”
Food - The vegetarian risotto is also AMAZING. I wish the salmon is less cooked.
Food was tasty. Service is great. Drinks are unique. Dessert (cake) wasn’t good 😌.
We ordered foie gras, butternut squash soup, prefix menu, mushroom with polenta, fish of the day (bass), Iron Lady drink. I would recommend everything except the cake! Overall a nice restaurant!

Chose this place for brunch after morning activity around the hood. Wanted a French cuisine and saw the reviewers pic of escargots, so perfect. Came to this place and got seated right away, my boyfriend and I came at the right time when that place was not busy yet. Staff were so friendly and food was great. I ordered egg Florentine and escargot as the appetizer. Love both and the complimentary bread was still warm and so soft in the inside and crispy on the outside. Tres parfait. And boyfriend ordered the Putin.

I came here for brunch. I recommend sitting outside if you can since its lovely. The service was pretty regular but the wait staff is good.

We got the coffee- sort of ok- and then the pancake, the ratatouille omlette and the burger. I highly recommend the pancake, it has a cake consistency and comes with a delicious strawberry butter. I also loved my burger, it was one of the better ones Ive had from a preparation standpoint, I got it with the blue cheese. The ratatouille omlette wasnt really a stand out but it was good.

The space outdoors is lots of little cafe tables and chairs, it has a roof on top in case it rains and has one big group table for shares and large parties.

I think I will be back for dinner

one of my all time favorite restaurants, fradei hits the mark every time. the food is remarkable and unique, the service is impeccable, the restaurant inside is small and quaint and absolutely perfect for the experience, i cannot rave enough about this place! also a wine pairing for $55?! EASY choice, and they do it beautifully. I’m surprised they don’t have a michelin star yet, but you will not be disappointed here!
Very nice and Cozy French resto to go to. Great for dates, or meetings with friends. Prices are very raisonable. We had
- Loster Bisque (Best! I've ever had!!!) Délicieux!!! Very light, no potatoes in it, A MOST TRY!
-Ratatouile, taste wise it was excellent. My only complaint was the presentation, they went for a lazy one, it looks like some boil/sautéed big pieces of squash.
-Escargot, that was our first time, we were suprised, not exactly was we were expecting. Lightly chewy, tasted like salted pork. It was ok. Something to try at least once.
My drink was Douce Passion, mildly sweet passion fruit cocktail served in a tiny glass, it was excellent just too little.
I definitely recommend this place. Bon Appetit!!

I never had Italian food that was this original. All the dishes look simple, but they're deceivingly original and carefully crafted to produce a unique tasting experience of flavors, textures, and visuals. The staff is very chill and the 80s music helps you flow through the 5 courses. I especially loved the dessert, smoked fish, and the vegetables, but everything was good.

Nice French restaurant— we went for brunch and the drinks and food were tasty, but the food was a little on the cold side. Service was pretty good— everyone is friendly and polite. I think they were setting up for a really large group which distracted people a bit.

Nice designed venue but not the best tasting food. In fact, I had to add salt, pepper and hot sauce to my eggs. I ordered a side of bacon that was more like beef jerky due to its stiffness. I wouldn’t go back. Etsy (might be misspelling her name) was probably the highlight of my experience. She was very attentive and a lot more helpful than our actual waitress..

Pretty decent price, but it is nothing fancy either. The atmosphere is pretty relax, seats are a little tight but not over crowded. The service are excellent. However, the food and drinks are just ok. 2 out of 4 cocktails are pre-made and bottled from a local cocktail place, but the best of the 4 is actually one of the pre-made. The fried paniess were just soggy, and doughy. There’s not special about foie gras, and I feel like they just throw in 2 slices of bread and called it a dish. The hanger steak is really good tho, perfectly cooked and season, it’s the only thing that I will recommend. The duck breast has crispy skin and good flavor but it is too chewy for my taste and gave my jaw muscle too much of a work out. The ravioli is pretty good but it’s less than warm when they bring it to the table.
