Absolutely stellar! Incredible doesn’t even begin to describe how wonderful this place was. Impeccable dishes and a great choice for a birthday dinner.

tl;dr classics are classic for a reason. the potato was to die for, and the lamb & sauce incredible. martini on point too.
Amazing find in the middle of Brussels with a local feel & good attention to detail on food, service, and atmosphere. The lamb & portions amazing, as was the lobster bisque and the espresso martini.
The restaurant is warm & cozy inside, with an intimate and modern feeling that puts the focus on the food & conversation in front of you. We’re here for the meal and company, that in of itself is the ultimate show.
Service was also amazing, considerate & understanding. While a typical Belgian pre-summer takes most diners indoors, I had some work calls coming in and asked to sit outdoors even if a bit cooler & risk of rain so I wouldn’t upset other customers, and the staff were kind & accommodating with that request.
My only concern, and I think this is more me, the crème brûlée is meant to be shared and is a bit much for one. It could also be a little bit more firm but this may be down to my tastes/opinions. Plenty of vanilla bean, good firm crunch on the top, taste was on point, and if i had my partner dining with me, then we certainly would have devoured it whole. Suggestion - call out on the menu if it’s meant to be shared, then a patron can make the call or try many of the other delectable desserts you had on offer.
Would certainly eat here again, looking forward to both new twists on the classics, with Lola putting their stamp on things.

Booked for a business dinner, group of 30 people. The communication before the event could be improved, but at the end everything worked as planned.
Service was professional and kind. The food was delicious, the only negative point is that we received the sauce a few minutes after the plate, so some people ate without the sauce. A bit pricey compared to similar restaurants but overall, you won't be disappointed.

Quite fast service and chill location. Food was nice and arrived correctly. Overall nice experience for a Sunday evening dinner

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the world! The food I had was amazing, the staff was kind, the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, and was fairly priced. We ordered the lobster ravioli and lemon butter pasta.

My husband and I spent one night in Brussels for our honeymoon and our hotel recommended Lola’s for dinner. Without a doubt the best meal we had on our trip! The service was excellent and the food was divine. We had the lobster ravioli and the lemon butter sage pasta as well as the molleaux cake for dessert. Every bite was phenomenal including the bread served with the meal. This is a must visit on your trip! Make a reservation in advance. Absolutely recommend!

What a wonderful dinner in Brussels. I was skeptical because its in the heart of the tourist area, but the food, service and atmosphere was amazing. The place was completely booked and a lot of locals were dinning here so I felt more like a local than a tourist. The decor was very elegant and clean. All the food was wonderful, the wine was very good and the service was great. They gave me an English menu which was very welcome. I would not hesitate to go back here again for dinner! Well worth the money!

Really good and fun atmosphere! The random song breaks were amazing. Most of the food is very much out there which I did not expect. Service was not the best. We often seemed forgotten for long periods of time.

My server Mika was amazing from top to bottom, worked his butt off and made sure that everything was great with our meal. The food was even better, from the appetizers, to the wines, to the main courses. 10/10 recommend the filet. Attaching a picture of the appetizers, goat cheese salad, and the sautéed mushroom with bread.

I cannot express how grateful I am for finding this restaurant while walking in Sablon and immediately trying to book a table through their website. Everything from the beginning to the end was exceptional. The service, the politeness of the staff, the atmosphere and the food. A true Belgian-French cuisine and atmosphere. We tried 2 starters and for main courses, and 2 desserts and they were more than enough for 4 people. I recommend all the dishes we tried with no hesitation and I cannot recommend more for you to try the beef which was amazingly cooked.
The profiteroles were the best ones I’ve tried in my life.

We had a wonderful evening at Taverne du Passage. My asparagus soup with foi grass was sublime as was my steak. Service was fabulous. Highly recommend.

This used to be a restaurant I came to often. In fact one of the first restaurants I visited when moving to Brussels. It’s stilll a restaurant with excellent food - but the service? Waitresses are super stressed - run around and miss details. Add more staff! Today I had to ask for sparkling water twice before it arrived. And after a very good lunch I asked for the dessert menu. 20 minutes later I have the menu but absolutely no one picking up my order. But the food was excellent. And now waitinc to be able to pay ……. Another marathon

The overall food experience was nice especially for the main dishes , which were really tasty.
I strongly recommend the risotto! However, the starters which we ordered were not really tasty and totally overpriced, a basic French onion soup for 26€ and a non tasty lobster raviole in a watery soup were a dissapointment .

Very classic restaurant with good food. The place is traditional and they don’t even serve Coca Cola or fizzy drinks. The food is wonderful and the meat is with unlimited fries and salad, mayonnaise. The meat is really good. The deserts I didn’t understand what was it in the menu but it was really good good!!

Boooked for a special lunch, the restaurant is a classic! Lovely atmosphere, deicious food and effortless service.
Generous portions and dining also with two children (not particularly fussy with food) was easy as they shared an adult portion. All was well cooked and full of flavour. Despite the escalope being slightly overcooked the rest were to the point.
We only had mains, and frankly they were rather filling on their own.
The mussels Mariniere were one of the best we have tried.
Easy to communicate, both in English and of course French.
We will be happy to visit again when we are back in Brussels.

It’s my second time coming to this restaurant. The first time which was a year ago I had an amazing experience and I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Unfortunately, the prices have increased significantly and the quality did not follow. We waited one hour for our dish and in the end we got frozen market french fries, small piece of fish that was not evenly cooked and some pathetic excuse of 2 bites of vegetable side. I can’t even say that the food was average.
This was very disappointing because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary with my husband and we wanted to have a special dinner.
The experience was not worth 95 euros. Save your money and go to St. Catherine “Mer du Nord” if you want to eat good fish. If you just want a fancy place with “side eyes” and to get “robbed”, this place is for you.

I go with the day's recommendation: risotto with squid and octopus. It's yummy! For dessert, lemon sorbet is wonderful!

We went there as part of a team-building experience, which made the night all the more fun. The atmosphere is rather cozy and the location is great. That being said, I had higher expectations in terms of both service and quality of the food. For instance, the waiter was rather clumsy and spilled a glass of cava on my lap, which I can understand happening, but when you add it all up, you start questioning whether the restaurant deserves its acolade for its service. When it comes to food, the main dish was excellent and elaborate, which is to be expected, however the dessert was not as presentable as one would expect in such an establishment. It was simply chocolate mousse in a small cup. Nothing impressive about that, in my opinion. Nonetheless, the restaurant deserves its place on the map due to the freshness of their ingredients.

This is the place to come if you want a genuine dining experience away from the tourist areas. The food was delicious in a beautiful art nouveau setting. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We tried to book the reservation through the Fork app; maybe we made this booking on the same day morning, but they didn’t get our booking from The Fork App; however, we seemed lucky again that they still could offer us a table two. I found a Google review that they had a confit duck leg, which I would like to taste from a Michelin-star restaurant, but maybe they changed their menu regularly, so there was no luck to taste it this time. We ordered fish soup and pan-fried scallops as starters, which both were absolutely amazing and good. For the main, we had Monkfish and a chicken pastry. We like both of them, but we will say we had some better monkfish from the other; they are still very yummy and tasteful. And then we had a Lungo coffee to finish our one-star Michelin experience.

The food at this place was absolutely amazing. If you want authentic Belgian food, this is the place to go! Definitely make a reservation though, maybe a few weeks ahead of time. This place fills up quick. I was able to “squeeze in” by stopping by exactly when they opened for dinner and was lucky to be seated.

Food and ambiance was excellent.
However we had some misunderstanding with our waiter, but probably through the language difference. In general staff is not attentive for a such restaurant.

A little hesitant knowing the location and landmark it is but honestly it was good food with great service. Went for the Belgian mussels marinière style with white wine and the vol au vent and it did not disappoint. Specially happy with the sweetbreads in my vol au vent and the fries were right on point

The food was great, everyone had more than enough with the raclette plate each of us chose, the service wasn't the quickest but the servers were very nice. The atmosphere was very nice, albeit a little warm because of the grills, but nothing too bad. A nice family outing for sure!

Had a fantastic time today at La Marmiton. Our waiter Raphael was more than helpful and amicable. He helped us in seating during this busy time in Brussels although we didn’t have a reservation. The food was superb. I will definitely come back when visiting Brussels. Highly recommended to all Brussels visitors.

We got lucky to get a table for 2 during a very busy evening without a reservation.
The food was soooo yummy!
And the staff was impeccable!
They are so friendly, sincere, and accommodating.
I would definitely recommend eating here!
But don't test your luck, make a reservation because I don't want you to miss out!!

Classic Belgian restaurant, the food was really good. The risotto was the best course, definitely recommend. The Brussels waffle was a big disappointment though. It was dry and crunchy, didn’t taste fresh, more like reheated yesterday’s waffle.

The steaks weren't seasoned ( no salt or pepper). The pepper and mushroom sauces that came with the steaks were watery and had absolutely no taste. I found out later that they charge 2 euros per sauce. The 18 euros chef's salad was mostly iceberg salad and heated up frozen seafood drowned in some salad sauce. Service was slow and chaotic but friendly. Too bad..

The bone marrow starter was one of the most amazing dishes I’ve had. Steak tartar was delicious as well. Chicken with rooted vegetables and morel sauce was filling. The yule log was sweet, and crème brûlée was soft and not too sweet. Great service.

Do book before coming here, they are usually full house! Service was great and we particularly liked the hare, mussels, foie gras and the grey shrimp croquettes! Highly recommend when you are here at Brussels

We ate here last night and my husband and I agreed that it was probably the best meal we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious. The staff were also amazing. Really kind and helpful. If you are in Brussels I highly recommend visiting.

Lots of good options on the menu, enough varieties of beverages selection. I dined solo and ordered lobster ravioli with bisque, beef tartare and a bottle of chateauneuf du pape. Food is in healthy portion. Feels like it’s a nice place for group gatherings or date. Casual and chill vibe. Be sure to make reservation as it gets busy real fast.

Tried to book online a day before and it shows fully booked for 2weeks, so we decided to try our luck and went to the restaurant in person
Luckily, we got a table
We ordered one carpaccio beef to share as starter.
We got 2 separate plates so we thought the waiter misunderstood and put in 2 starters but we were only charged for one starter at the end, so turns out the chef separated it for us! It was a great surprise and the portion is large if that's one portion!
I had mussels for the main, ordered the spicy one but it wasn't spicy, turns out it was mussels with white wine, so can't comment on the spicy soup hahah
The carbonnade was good too and the chips were crispy and very flavorful
Had apple pie to finish and it was tasty 😋

The only good of this restaurant is the nice atmosphere: the Decoration is authentic Belgian. Food moderate and over priced as such. Staff simply snob (except the one waitress who was not native European) and superficial. Good but below of our expectations

The service was very nice but the food was not that good. We had the onion soup and the cheese fondue, and both of them were mostly made of this super stringy, hard to swallow cheese that you don't usually find in a fondue. I don't know if it was hard mozzarella cheese (because it also barely had any flavour) but I think the recipe could definitely be updated. Maybe the raclette is better though, idk

Price medium-high but overall good.
They offer Belgian menu with few interesting proposals. food is good as well as service. I’ve asked for a changing due to food allergy and they were able to adjust with cooker.
Staff is very kind and with fast service.
Athmosphere relaxed in elegant environment. Inside of the gallery, very well perceived.

Lovely restaurant, would recommend booking as very busy, we shared a fondue & raclette, worth a visit if visiting the city!

Great old school place with an old world vibe. Not what I would call highend food but Great eats with more of a French comfort food style. Staff super friendly and the value is good. Oh and if Cantillon is your jam you must stop here.

Chic restaurant in the heart of Brussels at the Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries. The place was bustling, and we were lucky enough to snag the last table. Making a reservation is highly recommended, as we witnessed many being turned away.
The food was outstanding! The grey shrimp croquettes were crispy and warm, the mussels were plump and juicy in a delicious broth, and the beef carbonnade melted in the mouth with tenderness and was engulfed in a rich, tasty gravy. While not cheap, the quality and exceptional taste of the food justified the price.
However, the service fell short: they forgot to bring serviettes, wet wipes for the mussels, and even bread upon request. Overall, the evening felt a bit rushed and hectic, as if they were eager to turn tables quickly.

Everyone was so lovely to me the tourist. And the other reviews are right - these are the BEST MOULES FRITE (MUSSELS AND FRIES) IN BRUSSELS. other places are not as flavorful or plentiful or food service wise. Yes it's a nicer restaurant but it's the real thing and it's worth the price. I got the spicy house moules frites and they were one of the best things I ever ate. And I eat a lot, everywhere! Go here if craving the best. Look at the menu before you get there too because they also have some fun tasting menus as reasonable prices. Lastly the drinks were cheap overall, Yay! Enjoy the food and view and service. 10/10

The service was incredibly fast. The Atmosphere and location were both amazing. The Flemish beef stew was disappointing. The sauce was bland, just large beef chunks with sauce and no vegetables ( no carrots, no potatoes and no onions ). And the beef cubes were kinda of cold. I loved everything else about the restaurant. The beer wasn’t over priced either.
The sample beer was great and brought to my very quickly.

Food was okay, atmosphere and staff are great though :)

Terrible, rude service, refused to honour a reservation.
We called at 1:30pm on a Thursday to ask if they had a table for two people, and (given it was late) until what time they would take us and when their last orders were.
They told us they had a table and their last orders were at 2pm so we had to arrive before then. Fair enough.
We drove there and got to the restaurant well in time at 1:50pm. However, a very rude lady refused to seat us and told us that they were closed. Her colleague (who spoke to us on the phone) confirmed that we had called and that he told us last orders were at 2pm, and it was well before 2pm, but she continued to be extremely rude, roll her eyes, and didn't even apologise.
Terrible service and rude staff. To not even apologise for making us drive across Brussels and for wasting our time, and to be so extremely rude on top of it to kind and calm customers was absolutely unacceptable. A pity as we were regulars and took many friends there. Never again. The service at this place is awful.

What a gorgeous little restaurant! From the beginning staff were friendly and so helpful! A friend and I shared the raclette and fondu which were both delicious! Thank you for a lovely experience.

Excellent food and service. Very pleasant atmosphere. I loved the music played in the restaurant. Very pleasant staff. We could have a table by the window, which gave us a view over the square. Warmly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Just so great!
It surpassed our reasonably high expectations. It's not cheap but the quality more than justified the price tag.
My lady and I ordered a Raclette and a Fondue and shared the two. I highly recommend sharing as both were great and unique.
Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Delightful treat among the row of touristy restaurants. Highly recommend a reservation! I was able to snap a table with a 40m wait on Tuesday night. Healthy list of wines, but as a non picky wine drinker, I'd have a go at the selection of house wines at 6 euros a glass! All delicious choices. The snails and the mussels are an ABSOLUTE must. if you have room, follow it with beef stew, then if you have more room, fries! Skip on dessert, and eat a few more of those mussels because it'll be awhile before you find another pot of mussels that is so delicious.

The best food we have ever had. Everything about the experience was perfect. The staff were very personal and gave great service. They listened to our tastes and gave great recommendations based on them. Couldn't be better. It felt like a very personal experience and it was lovely how they celebrated people's birthdays. Thanks for the great night.

My fianze and I shared a few small and large plates and a very delicious pavlova. The portions are really generous and the food is incredible high quality and tasty.
The only con is it was a bit hot inside, so if possible I recommend sitting outside especially when its not so hot outside :)

Went in mid-afternoon, during our visit of Grand Place. Conveniently located next to major attractions, it was a great find.
Food was great and was not as expensive as I thought it would be for such a highly touristic area. They also have a good selection of beer. The waiters were friendly and even though they were slammed with orders, we didn’t wait to long to get our food.
Overall, definitely suggest if you are looking for a place to eat next to Grand Place.

Nice bere selection. Burgers and pasta şaş really delicious. Big portions and very tasty. I suggest this Place. The mussels look great. Nexttime we will try Mussels

We recently dined at Brasserie de la Reine in Brussels, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. This charming establishment exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere that sets the stage for an outstanding culinary journey.
Both the Pasta Bolognese and Pasta Carbonara were exquisite. Each dish, thoughtfully prepared, brimmed with robust, authentic Italian flavors. The Bolognese sauce was a savory symphony of meat and herbs, while the Carbonara offered a wonderfully creamy concoction, studded with crispy pancetta.
The Battin Fruitée beer was another high note of the meal. This fruity brew, with its refreshing tang, provided a perfectly balanced accompaniment to the hearty pastas.
One aspect to note, however, is that Brasserie de la Reine accepts only cash payments. They do not take credit cards, so ensure to have cash handy to avoid any inconvenience.
Nonetheless, I recommend Brasserie de la Reine wholeheartedly to anyone craving a fantastic meal in Brussels.

What I liked the most about Les Petits Oignons was a nice summer terrace right on the street with a beautiful view of an old palace-like building. So tempting on a warm summer day! However, the food in general was okay but not fantastic. I ordered the salmon tartar, which wasn't especially tasty, and ended up not finishing it. The croquettes were good, but average for the city. The one thing that was definitely a high advantage was that the restaurant serves champagne by the glass.
Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the service as the waiter didn't respect personal space. While cleaning other tables, he passed by too close, which was disturbing during my lunch. Additionally, he sneezed loudly close to the table, which was unpleasant. The overall atmosphere was not cool, and on a Saturday during lunchtime, the restaurant was only half-full. There were no young, cool people around that is also a signal that something is wrong.
In conclusion, I may recommend Les Petits Oignons for one visit just to taste the croquettes and enjoy champagne on the terrace, but not for an impressive food experience. You won’t get it there.

Beautiful restaurant, great service, delicious food, reasonably priced meals. It honestly deserved more customers. I didn’t look it up online so I wasn’t put off with what seems like a low rating, I was gonna go next door but it was expensive and this had gorgeous ambiance, reasonably priced, and quieter. I took a chance and it paid off but it was kind of sad how empty it was, the chef was just looking out the window and was so happy when a family decide to come in.
The scampi was delicious and they were very generous with the shrimp. Great beer selection as well and I would’ve stayed for desert if I wasn’t so full. I do recommend this place, give it a shot.

Came for dinner reservations, but was not necessary. It was not overly busy and could have been seated right away without a reservation. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, but sat inside with the cold weather. Service was friendly, welcoming, and quick. Ordered Battin Extra and Battin Triple to drink, which were both great. Ordered fried calamari for a hot appetizers, which were cooked great and not overdone. Then ordered the vol-au-vent that had a great sauce and moist chicken, not overlooking it. Also had the grilled salmon, which was cook well, although it did not have the skin for a crisp texture. Lastly had the Bailey' coffee, which was a really great way to finish dinner. I did want to order the mussels, however they were sold out by the time I came to the decision to get orders. I would recommend coming earlier if you I want to order mussels. I YOHefinitely come back for another meal.

Absolutely phenomenal meal in a old school posh setting, without being too uptight.
Portions are generous, so adjust accordingly. We were 3, and decided to split 3 entrees and 2 mains, which was enough for us.
We tried the brains, because why not. It was pretty good!
We also had a wonderful plate of cèpe mushrooms and some trout, really good.
We were told by others that the vol au vent was not to be missed, and it lived up to the hype big time. To take a meal my mom would make on a weeknight and elevate it like this is simply amazing. The sauce was devine.
We also had the veal cheeks, super tender, with another crazy delicious sauce.
Really great wine list, with plenty of Cantillon beers too.
Service was fine, both serious with a bit of tongue in cheek.
Definitely not a cheap meal, but it is a worthwhile splurge.
