The steaks weren't seasoned ( no salt or pepper). The pepper and mushroom sauces that came with the steaks were watery and had absolutely no taste. I found out later that they charge 2 euros per sauce. The 18 euros chef's salad was mostly iceberg salad and heated up frozen seafood drowned in some salad sauce. Service was slow and chaotic but friendly. Too bad..

The service was incredibly fast. The Atmosphere and location were both amazing. The Flemish beef stew was disappointing. The sauce was bland, just large beef chunks with sauce and no vegetables ( no carrots, no potatoes and no onions ). And the beef cubes were kinda of cold. I loved everything else about the restaurant. The beer wasn’t over priced either.

The sample beer was great and brought to my very quickly.

Went in mid-afternoon, during our visit of Grand Place. Conveniently located next to major attractions, it was a great find.

Food was great and was not as expensive as I thought it would be for such a highly touristic area. They also have a good selection of beer. The waiters were friendly and even though they were slammed with orders, we didn’t wait to long to get our food.

Overall, definitely suggest if you are looking for a place to eat next to Grand Place.

Nice bere selection. Burgers and pasta şaş really delicious. Big portions and very tasty. I suggest this Place. The mussels look great. Nexttime we will try Mussels

We recently dined at Brasserie de la Reine in Brussels, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. This charming establishment exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere that sets the stage for an outstanding culinary journey.

Both the Pasta Bolognese and Pasta Carbonara were exquisite. Each dish, thoughtfully prepared, brimmed with robust, authentic Italian flavors. The Bolognese sauce was a savory symphony of meat and herbs, while the Carbonara offered a wonderfully creamy concoction, studded with crispy pancetta.

The Battin Fruitée beer was another high note of the meal. This fruity brew, with its refreshing tang, provided a perfectly balanced accompaniment to the hearty pastas.

One aspect to note, however, is that Brasserie de la Reine accepts only cash payments. They do not take credit cards, so ensure to have cash handy to avoid any inconvenience.

Nonetheless, I recommend Brasserie de la Reine wholeheartedly to anyone craving a fantastic meal in Brussels.

Beautiful restaurant, great service, delicious food, reasonably priced meals. It honestly deserved more customers. I didn’t look it up online so I wasn’t put off with what seems like a low rating, I was gonna go next door but it was expensive and this had gorgeous ambiance, reasonably priced, and quieter. I took a chance and it paid off but it was kind of sad how empty it was, the chef was just looking out the window and was so happy when a family decide to come in.

The scampi was delicious and they were very generous with the shrimp. Great beer selection as well and I would’ve stayed for desert if I wasn’t so full. I do recommend this place, give it a shot.
