Great staff, nurses, and Doctors, they far exceeded my expectations. Knowledge and happy personalities make it a great place to go when you need Urgent Care. Especially the great smile of Medical Assistant Kaylee.
Great , friendly, kind and fast. No appointment I think I was there a total of maybe 30 minutes at the most. They found a pharmacy for me that is open in Sunday so I could get my RX today. Hopefully I won’t get sick again but if I do I will come back for sure.
Elizabeth Bui, PA at AFC Urgent Care Wichita is extremely welcoming, thorough and well rounded as a provider! She took exceptional care of me and developed a plan to get me back to my baseline quickly. I will most definitely be returning to AFC in the future for urgent care needs.
Been using them for years in place of ER calls and we have always been very happy with their level of treatment. Dr. Mansody (so?) was probably the most comforting physician I have ever encountered. Kind and very professional.
Everything was meant with the best of care. Gave us steroid for our covid and antibiotics. Steroid helped immensely even first night. Very nice nurses and PAs. Not a long wait.
I had an exceptional experience at AFC Urgent Care on Rock Rd today! Within 30 minutes, I was seen, diagnosed, and treated. The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it off, the doctor even shared some of her personal Halls vitamin C lozenges. It was a 10/10 experience, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received.
No one seemed to care what was going on. Didn't even barely look at the spot and just told us the name of a medicine and left the room. They didn't tell us what they think it is or anything. I have never felt so disappointed in a provider... well definitely not be coming back.
The visit was quick, I was in and out. The staff was helpful and friendly . I will be returning with any other medical needs myself or my children have.
Everybody was very helpful! The lady at the front desk was very nice and helped me figure out payment options that worked best for me. The physician and nurse were so nice and helped me immensely. I definitely recommend going here!
On 09/13/2023 was my first time at this facility. It was very clean and comfortable atmosphere. They work quickly to keep the flow going with waiting patients to get everyone processed quickly and seen in a short timely manner. I did notice all the staff members worked very well together to keep a good flow going. This I dont see much at busy urgent care facilities with the staff members, most of the other urgent care facilities I visited in the past can't seem to keep up a good flow when there are several patients coming in back to back next thing you know your there another 2 hours before being seen even. The staff members who was involved in my care process were kind with smiles and good attitudes the whole time. I was back there after intake going to a room, getting x-rays, and all done within 10 minutes. I was impressed with the urgent and kind service as well. From when I arrived to when I left, I was there 1 hour total, given I had showed up during a busy period, that is a new record for me :) I received a phone call with my results within 2 hours after I left. This is the first time I have been able to say this about any of the urgent care facilities in wichita, KS (that I have visited),- I highly recommend giving AFC Urgent Care a try! :) I look forward to going back here again when needed :) To the Staff: Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality!
Staff not very attentive or professional at all. Me and my son walked in I was not greeted I was not asked how I can be helped, lady at front desk was on her phone when she looked up at me I asked her if they can do blood work her doctor's orders and she just looked at me and asked a group of nurses that were sitting in a circle talking and on their phone and they said no we don't do that here we don't do any lab work here you would need to go to Wesley or some kind of hospital for that and I said okay thanks and they didn't say you're welcome or anything they just sat back down and got back on their phones. I feel like my son and I was denied service because they simply didn't want to get off their phones and in their conversations wouldn't recommend going to the next Care on Seneca in the evening time.

The only suggestion I would make is if you have customers who made appointments you take them in and maybe take your walk ins every other appt patient. Putting everyone in the same exact list and taking them as they arrive makes making an appointment absolutely pointless. But staff was kind and efficient once we were back. The people who logged in and made an appt should get some sort of benefit for doing so. Thank you though for being efficient and courteous once we were back ❤️
The nurse that took care of me was very kind and patient. She made me feel very comfortable, even when my body wasn’t cooperating. Thank you all for your empathy and understanding.
The wait was quite long - but the care was fabulous. I am very appreciative of the thorough work up and explanations as well as the attentiveness of the nurse practitioner. While we were waiting I was thinking I would never go again because it was hours of waiting, but now I plan to return if needed and take advantage of the online check in to save wait time.
The front desk person was nice. That's the only thing keeping me from wishing I could give this place zero stars. The nurse I had seemed to hate her job and didn't seem to care about a word coming out of my mouth. The provider I had was Jody Morrison. She was very straightforward, bordering unfriendly. She seemed irritated that I was there. She made me feel stupid for the questions and concerns I had. I felt judged. In my patient portal I was able to see the chart notes from the appointment, and even those came across judgemental. She didn't ask me to elaborate on how I was feeling or when my symptoms began. She seemed to just want to get me in and out asap and acted as though I was a burden. I then heard her outside tell someone to tell the next person it would be a 45 minute wait. Why? There was only one car in the parking lot when I arrived and one when I left. While I waited about 20 to 30 minutes for the provider to come in, I heard staff outside the door complaining about other people. I understand needing to vent, but to do so when patients can hear you is very unprofessional. NextCare does not care.
The wait time was fine and the receptionist and triage personnel were great. The doctor however was not. I spent no more than 2-3 minutes with the doctor, in which it felt like she had diagnosed me within the first 30 seconds of our interaction. She did not allow me much opportunity to speak on my own behalf. If so, then I would have been able to tell her that everything she was recommending that I do I was already doing daily as a large portion of my job. She left the room telling me that she was sending medication to my preferred pharmacy twice but failed to tell me what medication I should be expecting to pick up.
