During our Ross island visit our driver recommended this restaurant to us so that we can try some seafood. And I was glad that we took his advice and had our lunch as well as dinner here.
The ambience is very simple. A non-ac restaurant with adequate sitting arrangement. Service is good and staffs are professional in their approach. Seafoods like crabs(live), fish, prawns, squids are available here. We ordered plain rice, prawn curry, fish fry as our lunch. While in dinner we had mixed fried rice and chilly chicken. Prawn curry was spicy and delicious while fish fry served as a good starter. We were completed satisfied with the lunch. Along with these foods we also had lemonade which acted as a refreshment to the hot weather.
Overall I loved eating here.

Amazing seafood available here. One of the best seafood restaurants in Port Blair. Ambience is okayish and service is lacking. But it is worth suffering the same for the food. Try the crab and the tawa fried whole fish. The restaurant is open air and there is a bar upstairs.
It was such a great excursion for me. I was on a 7-day Andaman tour and wanted to try some seafood. My driver suggested me to this place. I wanna try tuna here but unfortunately, it was not available. I saw live crabs and lobster there. Being a Gujarati I have never tried such a type of seafood. In our dictionary, seafood means only fish😁. I ordered surmai fish with rice. The taste was amazing.

This restaurant is one of the only few sea food restaurants in this locality. That's a reason that it attracts crowd. However the food, its freshness and the prices are not optimum.
They keep their fishes in a glassed refrigerated showcase and guests can choose from there. They will let you know the price for the specific item.
They were trying to sell sea bass (Bhetki) as Red Snapper to one of my friends. When I challenged in the local dialect that this is a sea bass, then they said that it may be sea bass, but we call it Red Snapper in Andaman. This was hilarious. Plus, the fishes were not at all fresh.
We ended up having grilled chicken, some chicken drumsticks fries, noodles and french fries. The grilled chicken was dry and didn't taste anything extraordinary.

Tried lobster for the first time. And lobster being exotic dish the proce for small one was 1500/- but it was worth the taste. Loved it

We went to this hotel on our friend's recommendation and I thought it was a good decision as the food was really good. We wanted to explore some nice sea food and thus inquire about it with locals and some friends who have been to Port Blair, and most of them recommended this new light restaurant.
We ordered fish, prawns, and some other items, and the quantity and the food were both awesome. Everyone loved the 555 fish it was tangy and very tasty. I never tasted any fish dish like that ever before. The tiger prawn dish was also very delicious, especially the gravy. It tasted amazing with both rice and roti. We ordered some veg item too as one of our friends was a vegetarian and he too said that the dal makhni we ordered was super tasty.
So overall the experience was good and we will recommend this restaurant to all foodies who like to eat delicious food.

It is on the roadside and a shack that even the regular autorickshaw guys were unaware. It is seen on the Google Maps though. We overshot the place by about half a kilometre before we realised that we had missed the place and then on recommendation of Google Map returned.

We ordered a fried red snapper. It smelled so strongly that it wasn’t to our liking and we had to request for a return. They do not charge for three fish at all! Now, that is three quality of service which is out of the world.

I went there twice during my stay in port blair. Grilled fish was amazing, just trust the owner's choice if you're not acquainted with fish. Squids were not upto my taste and didn't enjoy it. Though they have special menu chalked on board everyday, do check their regular menu card and select the items.
Chicken burger was scrumptious with over the top/ generous filling and fish finger were tasty.
Mocktails were ok.
Just go with grilled fish, anything related to fish and also the burgers. I'm sure rest of the popular items will be as good as others.

When it comes to food in a beachside location we always find seafood. We came to know about New lighthouse restaurant from a random auto driver while we were having our ride to the market. The place is very near to Aberdeen Bazaar.
Upon perusing the menu, one is met with a tantalizing array of options, ranging from classic favorites to innovative creations. The lobster is famous there besides that there are many more options. There is a showcase for lobster and other fishes from where you can decide what you want. After choosing the item we have to wait for almost 30 minutes to get the food ready which is quite normal as the place is a bit crowded. There are two options to sit. One is outside the restaurant which includes open spaces too and the other is inside the restaurant which contains the bar. The staff are helpful but the service is not up to the mark. In conclusion, lighthouse is more than just a restaurant—it's an oasis for seafood lovers, a sanctuary where the ocean's bounty is transformed into culinary masterpieces. Whether you're a connoisseur of seafood or simply looking to indulge in a taste of the sea at Post Blair, it's sure to leave a lasting impression because of the taste of the food.

The place is right next to the sea and everything is cooked from fresh on the coals. 100% recommended. Thank you to the kind owner who gave us a ride home too!

Looks can be deceptive, this food truck by the sea serves some of the yummiest seafood dishes we have ever had. Do try their mixed seafood pasta, made with love using their very own in-house seafood stock. It was full of rich flavour. The food was affordable and portions decent. Definitely going to visit this place again.

It's a small eaterie, cooking out of a food truck, and the location is right by the waterfront, on Foreshore road. Beautiful location. Small tables and chairs are set along side the truck. The place looks very pretty after dark. Not posh but really pretty.
The food is delicious, especially so because the head cook, one madam, cooks with her whole heart. She showed me the fishes that were available and explained to me that it needs to be cooked to perfection, not too less and not too much, so as to keep the flavour of the fish intact.

One of the good places in Port Blair to have seafood. Taste is good, owner is sweet, and it's pocket friendly. My only concern is with lighting, if they can improve it, then there won't be any better place than this in Port Blair.

I wish I could ship this place to my hometown, and tell everyone that this is how seafood is cooked and served at a pocket friendly price.
Everything about this place is something different from what you'd expect. It's a perfect example of how simplicity could be this beautiful. I drove 9km to this place and I guess it was worth it . Initially I had expected to have street food like vibe,but when the food arrived, I saw that the presentation and taste was way beyond any bigger 5 star restaurant of big cities like Delhi or Mumbai.
We had Grilled Lobster, Grilled Fish and Tuna bites. Everything was cooked to perfection and it looked like the owner and the people working here really loved to feed people. I wish I could give them 10 out of 5 stars
