Good pasta and seafood restaurant in a beautiful area of Napoli. The food was delicious, fresh and on good quantity. We tried some seafood and some pasta plus dessert. Everything was good. Pricewise was correct taking into account we were eating fresh seafood. Better to make a reservation before to make sure you will have a table.

The service was appalling and the food average. Seem unable to cope with the number of diners. It took 2hours to get our main course which were simple pizzas.

The pizzas were really good, the lady who werved us was very patient and had a big smile on her face at every time despite being rushed off her feet.
The big downside of the experience is that we chose to seat outside and had to put up with the noise but mostly the fumes of the vehicles passing us by. We hadn't expected it in such a narrow street (it was quiet when we arrived).
But hey, pizza alla fume! Still happy with our food :)

Nice restaurant near by sea. Our waiter was so professional and pleasant, big thanks to him!

That was after we tried to call them a few times.
After that, it just looked like they were doing us a favor, not like it's their job!
So if you are hungry don't go there, a good chance you will wait a lot.

A MUST when in Napoli! There is nothing more authentic in the Spanish Quarter. The cars and scooter pass-by within inches of the outdoor tables. The owner and staff are amazing! The food is great. PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZZA! is what we recommend. I miss it...every time we are headed out in Kansas City (my hometown in the USA)...I think...wish we could grab pizza at Trattoria Speranzella. We didn't get to try all the food...but, the experience is the best!

True to other reviews, this genuine and traditional Italian restaurant serves the freshest and best seafood dishes and pastas. Highly recommended to try the grilled sea bass and another seafood platter to go with. Very attentive boss will make sure your food is up to standard and all your needs taken care of.

Wow! We were a party of 6 people and I got to try 5 dishes, all pasta and hands down - they were all wonderful! Such delicious food and stand out service. If you can I recommend sharing but ok if you don’t! Do book early if you want a seat.

Margherita pizza and Spagetti alla nerano were delicious. But food was sured very late. Even though 2.5euro was charged each person inclued in my small son, staffs were not kind. And nobody knows why wifi was not worked.

We made a reservation for 7:30pm, just when the osteria opens. No menu in English, the waiters kept talking to us in Italian, finally a guy came and helped us to choose our meal. He told us that the menu change every day! We ordered and soon the starters came. Nothing special. After we had finished them, we were informed that one of the main courses has finished (we were the first clients!!).

This is an absolute gem of a place, with amazing owners working here. Antonio and his son Andrea are some of the friendliest people you can meet, and the food from their kitchen is absolutely fantastic. In fact, we made it a point to come back for lunch one more time, and forgo the Naples pizza experience. Vegetable soup (Zuppa di verdure) was on point, and both our pasta dishes were terrific. If you're nearby, you absolutely cannot go wrong coming here. Don't expect to eat in a hurry though, it's a family joint, so they likely won't be able to expedite your meal unless there's no crowd.

We were only a bit hungry and opted for an antipasto for 2 people. We got several plates filled with local dishes and it was very tasty. The warm interior was also very nice, along with Neapolitan music playing in the background.

I got pasta with octopus. I expected the sauce to be more tasty than it was. It seemed like they threw in a pan precooked pasta, some tomato puree and precooked octopus, gave it a stir and called it a day.

I have never rated a restaurant so low, and it's not because the quality of the food or the service per se. But because it's the first time in my 15 trips to Italy that I felt taken advantage of. There were six of us there and after ordering a bottle of wine and our main meal, the server asked about appetizers. There was some hesitation and he suggested he would bring, what I understood to be a plate or two of an assortment of appetizers. What he brought was 13 plates of appetizers, comprising 5 different appetizers. Each plate was over 10 euros. The attached photo shows the table after 3 appetizers were brought. I had no idea he was bringing more. Needless to say we could not finish the appetizers and the main dishes were barely touched. The total bill was 290 euros for 6 of us. I felt taken advantage of. I wont go back.

Everything was perfect. Great food and service. Restaurant was fully booked. We were lucky to get the last table when we walked in without a reservation.

So called “prawns” turned out to be just one shrimp. The food looked more depressing than any emo-kid Ive ever seen and it was cold. 2€ for a below average service?

Great service, would go back. I came in an hour before they closed on a weekday and I was the only one in the restaurant besides the owner and employees. The only negative thing was the noodles were slightly undercooked but it was still delicious and a great price.

We were brought some complimentary arancini. One of them dropped off the plate and the waiter caught it in his hand. He disappeared and came back almost immediately with what was clearly the same plate, just rearranged a bit.
Our mains were a tepid slice of fish with a drizzle of oil next to an unwashed, undressed handful of rocket, and an incredible dry lump of beef covered in what looked and tasted like tinned tomato puree.

Food was too salty (I had spaghetti con vongole). The portion for that prize 17 EUR was really small and they did not bring our food at the same time. So I finished my pasta and my partner received his food :( I was disappointed.

I’ve been in Italy two weeks all over and this is by far THE BEST ever!! Not only the food is amazing but the chef is the sweetest and most kind person I’ve encountered so far. We ate two days in a row and couldn’t be happier with the menu. I recommend 100%!!! Loved it.

We came here the first time with my family , the foods are so good , fresh cook , and the owner guy who take the orders and give us the services he is so nice to us. We decided to come the second night for dinner because of satisfaction of service and good food here

Awful service for high prices. Waiter got my order wrong and when asked to change upon receiving wrong meal they tried to force me to have it. I asked for the correct dish as I wasn’t able to eat it and they said I would need to pay for that. I’ve never had such a bad service in my stay in Naples. The quality was very low for the price of the meal. They also add an extra €4 to the bill without explanation, sadly we only saw the receipt after we left. I do not recommend this place at all it’s a scam.

Good atmosphere. But the food is ordinary, and the service is poor. We complained about one meal having a very bad taste (rotten tomatoes), and the waiter wouldn’t believe us. Also, they brought a different and cheaper type of fish than what was listed on the menu, claiming arrogantly that they didn't have time to modify the menu. The owner was very polite, but the rest of the staff was arrogant and unprofessional.

Great service, good food, but unfortunately not warm enough. We didn't sent it back, because we were very hungry and didn't want to waste food. The waiter was lovely and very attentive.

The pizza we ordered were delicious. We tried the capricciosa and the vicchiarelle. The tri bruschetta was also good. The service was genial and friendly. It was our first meal in Naples and it was a good start.

Antonio's restaurant is a lovely place near the port. He and his son run the restaurant with warmth and pride. Believe him when he says that everything on the menu is good. My personal favorites are the grilled and marinated seafood dishes, as well as his pasta pomodoro and spaghetti vongole. The pistachio and ricotta cheesecake is a great dessert.

My wife and I noticed this place on the way to another restaurant, we had a bottle of the house wine Paterno's, for dishes we had the spaghetti and clams, and clams mussels and pasta. Then for a secondary we had the seafood fritte. Food wine and service (fantastic.) Mario, Emanuel, Francesca . Not to forget the kitchen staff who did such a great job on our lovely dinners.

This family run independent sea food restaurant is amazing from its great service, food and drinks (they make the best aprol spritz). The waitress was very helpful and they can also communicate well in English for those who are not fluent in Italian. I would suggest going for the "sea food platter" and the "fried cod" which both dishes are amazing. We was very impressed overall so we went back on three occasions. I am happy to have supported this family business and finally the local area is very safe to walk around late in the evening.

Outstanding cuisine at this trattoria! I had a seafood plate which was served over sautéed vegetables. Generous portion. It was served with a delicious dipping sauce (oil & garlic, very tasty). Yummy, flavorful bread, crunchy crust and soft in the middle. It was absolutely delicious. I received excellent service from my waiter who was spot on with making sure that I was happy. He was very kind and warm. Complimentary taste of lemon cello after my meal which I enjoyed and appreciated.

Super friendly staff, we asked if they can make us a lobster risotto even though it wasn't on the menu, and it was delicious. Would also recommend sitting outside during sunset, you will have a great view of Napoli.

We wandered around the Spanish quarter which is a lovely area full of bars and restaurants and people, we saw this lovely place with nice atmosphere and we decided to go in.
The staff were nice and welcoming; we ordered fish fry (that’s how it’s called) and a regular pasta with tomato sauce; of course the pasta delicious (I didn’t taste bad pasta here in Italy), the fried fish was ok.
I recommend this if you don’t want to wait in long lines for other restaurants around

The road might be slanted, the terrace is not. A great place if you like fish and seafood! Make a reservation to make sure you get a place on the terrace. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great food!

Restaurant mit frischem Fisch in hoher Qualität. Die Degustazione aus dem Meer ist ein Erlebnis, man bekommt hier eine vielfältige Zusammenstellung über mehrere Teller verteilt, dazu genießt man am Besten eine gut gekühlte Flasche Mionetto Prosecco. Nur der Octopus war etwas zäh. Das Tagliata de Tonno, einmal kurz am Rand angebraten und in dünne Scheiben geschnitten, könnte zarter nicht sein. Gediegene Musik sorgt für eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Schade dass es keine Terrasse gibt, vorne am Eingang im halboffenen Vorraum sitzt es sich jedoch fast wie draußen.

Divinely tasteful and numerous dishes that get you to know the authentic Neapolitan cuisine. Good food quantity and relatively normal prices. The staff always helpful and accommodating. The atmosphere is also nice. Definitely a must-visit if you want to explore one of the most famous streets in Naples.

I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was so fresh, cooked so simply, but done so well. That's all you can ask for, when the ingredients aren't messed about with too much. I had the mixed grilled fish and a tiramisu, both were spectacular.

Location/ atmosphere is awesome and unfortunately that's where it ends. I got one of the spaghetti dishes and it was meh at best. Wifes dish was seafood with ravioli and she had similar feelings. We were recommended by the wait to get the appetizer that had various types of food on it. Wished we saved our money there.

Super beautiful terrace in a calm pleasant surrounding - I ate there even though I don’t even like fish 🙈 sweet service, great homemade pasta und tasty drinks. 100% recommended!

Late dinner for us. Kitchen was closing but Christian secured some food for us.
The food was amazing! Excellent fried food and the best pasta we have had in naples.
The best part was the service and the hospitality. This could look like a typical street restaurant like the others, but this is the real napolitan deal. Just try it! 🥰

Small but very cosy restaurant with wonderful fish dishes for reasonable prices. The outdoor terrace is tasteful, the staff more than friendly. Parking places could be found in the street.

Found this place by walking about Napoli, and it was the best dinner I had during my 3-night stay in the city. Our server, who was the owner along with his wife who made these amazing dishes, was so welcoming and kindly explained the menu to us in English, the latter of which I didn’t expect (our Italian skills were clumsy, anyway)! Everything about this place was amazing, including the cozy nautical decor, the freshly prepared food, and the people. Their menu changes, but I’d recommend the seemingly regular octopus salad and oysters; no dish is wrong here!

Cute place with beautiful murals in the top room and a gorgeous wine cellar underneath. The owners are the NICEST! The food is absolutely out of this world. The menu changes frequently, but we got the linguine with clams and bottarga, I forget the name of the dish but it was almost like a ravioli stuffed with shrimp and scallops topped with truffle, and smoked tuna with grape reduction and caramelized onion and truffle. Absolutely amazing. My favorite meal that we had in our whole trip!

All the meals were delicious, in particular tuna was super good. The restaurant focuses on detail and we had here great experience. Lemon sorbet was very refreshing considering the hot summer day we had. Worth mentioning is also the regional wine. Recommended.

One of the best meals we had in Napoli. Really amazing experience from the beginning till the end. We were only two tables sitting that evening, which increased the pleasant atmosphere.

Als meine Freundin und ich vor lauter Hunger nach dem langen Tag endlich Abendessen wollten, sind wir zufällig an diesem schönen Restaurant vorbeigelaufen. Der Kellner hat uns angenehm empfangen und uns die Speisekarte erklärt (für Wünsche war er sehr offen). Wir mussten nicht lang überlegen und haben uns für sein Lokal entschieden. Das Essen wird wöchentlich geändert was die Karten Beschreibung/Übersetzung erschwert, jedoch hat er uns diese perfekt nahe gebracht. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Ambiente war sehr angenehm.
Zum Schluss hat er uns ein wenig Geschichte Neapels in Verbindung mit seinem Restaurant nahegebracht. Es war ein sehr angenehmes Gespräch.
Zum Schluss hat es einen selbstgemachten Digestif (selbst-gemachten Zitronenlikör seines Vaters) gegeben. Somit sind wir mit einem vollem und entspannten Magen nach Hause gegangen.
Das nächste mal Neapel gehe ich nochmal dahin.

We ate here tonight and the food was very delicious. The service was great, friendly, and warm. I ordered the sliced raw beef with parmesan, and it was very delicious. Perfect summer trattoria in Napoli.

On our last day in Naples we visited this osteria for dinner and that was a great choice😀... Meals were so delicious,and we liked the romantic ambient on terrace. Service was also great. With prices are a bit more expensive then the rest of Napoli, but it is worth it, becouse you get tasty inovative plates, and after few days tasting pizzas and pastry this was something that we were looking for😊

So here what really counts is the atmosphere because you are by the castle, by the sea and it's really nice and romantic and picturesque. But for sure you can eat better in other places. Portions were really small. Food wasn't bad but also wasn't great. Waiters were trying to do their best, but we had to chase them down to pay: they are super busy and understaffed. They offered us limoncello to apologize which was very nice. Snobbish clientele, but we found a table even though we didn't reserve in advance but it was early for Italian standards (20:00). Bathroom need a good renovation.

Small restaurant with many recommendations. I came with high expectations and found it a little less than expected. Gnocchi was a bit hard. Octopus Salad could have some more flavor, Sea food Risotto was good, but I had better in other places. Tiramisu was excellent. They forgot to bring an order of coffee (it was on the bill and removed to my request). The waitress was very nice and helpful. The total experience was good, but not as special as I expected.

One of the most interesting and delicious dining experiences we have had in Italy. The mozzarella and broccoli appetizer was both original and very delicious. The fish was perfectly done as were the sides. Portions appropriate, a nice charge from the mounds of pasta and giant pizzas. The photo of the fish is a split plate. My wife and I shared the order, so the portion is twice this.
The atmosphere was chill in all the right ways. Interesting art in the wall and other nit-knacks. The pacing of the meal was leisurely. Outside dining was busy.
If you are in any way a foodie, you'll find something on the menu to peak your interest. Oh and the chef is the son of the owner.

This was probably our best meal in Italy because of consistently good food and excellent service. We felt like family dining in the restaurant owned by Antonio. He and his son were warm, welcoming and 100% Italian in honesty. Bread is served only with excellent olive oil, no balsamic nonsense. The grilled sea bass was very fresh and perfectly cooked - highly recommend. Lasagna was flavourful and substantial, perfumed with fresh basil. Spaghetti vongole was very fragrant and fresh. The wild strawberry tart was a delight - desserts may differ day on day. Lovely ambience too

I am sorry to admit, that was the worst meal I have ever eaten. We ordered 4 different dishes and all of them were pretty bad. The rice in risotto was cooked wrong, it wasn't creamy at all, It tasted like the sauce was added separately. The seafood in pasta meant only one octopus and it was also cooked badly - very chewy. The Ragu sauce tasted like form concentrated tomatoes. Only acceptable was Zita alla Genovese. The best was wine - Falanghia, but it's not a product of the restaurant. The thing to add is that sharp knife to shrimp wasn't added, and there was no plate for shells. :(

Lovely place with good kitchen - delicious sea dishes. You don't have to wait a lot of time to eat. It's noisy because cars pass next to you but I think it's unusual and interesting.

I can only give the highest praise to this Restaurant. The service was great, fast and friendly, ambient was very nice but ultimately what made me give 5 was the Food served which can only be described as orgasmic.
Starting with an octopus served on potato cream with balsamico, to perfect spaghetti in white wine with sea food, and finally closing it off with the best Tiramisu I have ever tested in Naples(and beyond).
All of dishes also came with a proper and nice presentation on its respective plates.
It's not a cheap restaurant but its also not trying to be one, price quality fits and I would and will visit again.
5 stars from me.

I randomly went into this restaurant and got really surprised. It had fantastic view. The food was really good. The fried calamari was nice and way better than what I'd had in the UK. The pizza was AMAZING! Usually when I eat a whole pizza I'd end up feeling so thirsty cus the pizza is so salty and greasy, but their pizza was nothing like that! I was even able to eat a rum babba afterwards which was also good! Would recommend definately!

Typical napolitan pizza. The staff was friendly, the food was good. And the prices are also okay. We were satisfied. One star I'll withdraw because the atmosphere could be a little bit better. We felt more like we were in a street food restaurant than in a traditional, 120 year old establishment. But in general we can recommend it, you'll definetly not will stay hungry.

The food is good, the employees were nice to us, but in general I have to say since I have been in different restaurants this is NOT-wow 🤩 for me!
Perhaps I think 3.5 stars would be how it can define this restaurant.
We ordered two pizzas some part a little bit darker( burnt) but in general the taste was good.
The bill;
They add some more money to the bill, so the two pizzas (16)and two coca cola, (5 €)and one french fries( 4€).
But what was the bill? Yes 4 € more!
So be careful it seems in Italy 🇮🇹 they are getting more money when you are a tourist!
I have to say as a habit of giving tips,my husband gave them a tip but after that he realised they already added more to their bill!

We have been here 6 times now in a few months.
The first time Bolognese and desert which was good lunch time which was good and good service.
The second time we had swordfish with veg the swordfish was frozen.
The third time we took my mom i had steak they didn't have oven potatoes and the veg was cold. Service wasn't got it was on the evening.
The fourth visit we had mixed meat with veg which was very good.
The fifth visit genovese which was very good again and the service was good and the staff was very kind.
The sixth time was yesterday. It was the most disappointing visit yet. Their own speciality dish was a disaster. No flavour, barely any meat not edible but no refund given, the mixed meat was good but had to be shared due to the awful pasta dish. They never have oven potatoes despite having it on the menu so ended up with fries.
It is very hit and miss depending on the time of the day, who is cooking, how busy it is. The most friendly staff is the one employed to get customers.
You need to know what to order here in order to get a good meal. The mixed meat seems to be the consistent dish. Veg and pasta hit and miss and pizzas are ok but on the expensive side.
Very poor business not to refund food that could not be eaten even to regulars

Ate here with my husband. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to be seated on one of the platform tables. Service was excellent. The mussel pasta was delicious. My husband had the swordfish which was the fish of the day. His food was a bit cold but overall good.

I was surprised how many negative reviews are posted for this place. Most of them center on the service. And probably that is correct. These guys are old and have an old school attitude.
That said, I go for the food and will review from that perspective
Basically, this has been among my best eating experiences in Italy. As a starter… the bread was definitely the best. I ordered a glass of red wine… also outstanding.
Actually, I only came here because I was hungry. So I ordered lasagne thinking …. What could go wrong. I would say it was good… although a little dry. And a long wait to bake it
That said. I was interested to see how they make lasagne in Italy. They used fresh pasta. And, allowing for the difference in style from the USA. It was good
They used cloth napkins for lunch. Which I appreciate since the normal wax paper napkins one encounters are a serious annoyance for me
From my seat I could see all the dishes coming from the kitchen. They all looked fantastic
I closed with tiramisu and cappuccino. Very good. And no side looks from ordering a cap too late in the day
Bottom line. Aside from the service. An excellent experience

When in Naples you must make a stop at Al Vecchio 53 Restaurant. It is located in the historic part of Naples. Once you get to Piazza Dante, you know you are almost there. A hidden jewel in the city! Angelo the owner, Tania and all his staff will greet you with a warm welcome. They are the ultimate hosts. You can try a little of everything, or only your favorites. So much to choose from. If you’re getting full on appetizers, you can ask for 1/2 portion of pasta (sea food the best), or share your main course. One of the best quality value in town. It recently received a certificate of excellence, and one of the oldest restaurants in the city of Naples (Napoli). Politicians, Religious leaders, famous people, and people like you and me can take a break when visiting Naples and enjoy a fabulous meal at 53, and it won’t break the bank. It was my second visit in a number of years, and I know I will be going back every chance I get. Soak it all in. Naples is beautiful❤️🇮🇹🇺🇸🇨🇦❤️

This place was near our b&b so we went there for lunch on the first day and we were pleasantly surprised! The service was great, there was also someone who spoke English and translated the menu for us so we really appreciated that. The food was also really good and pretty cheap. Highly recommend if you’re in the neighborhood!

This is just amazing restaurant with beautiful terrace and service aa well.
Any star below 5 or 4 for me is just not ok since the food is amazing.
We ate fish soup for the start and it is absolutely amazing. The taste is so good, just a bit spicy and I would it recommend to any guest here. Main dish (fish) is fresh and as I saw, locals come here to eat which for me is sign food has to be good! 5* deserved!🙌

I have been here severa times, never been disappointed once. Zio Ciro only serves top quality seafood, perfectly cooked in the traditional way. Family run restaurant. Try it, love it!

The food was fantastic. The wine was super. A good experience. But we waited quite a long time for them to take our order, a very confused staff. It seemed like they were trying to avoid us because we didn’t speak Italian.

Absolutely superb seafood, served in a very welcoming environment that has a nice seaside vibe and, for industrial archaeology buffs, gritty views of the long abandoned and disused metal factories once at the heart of working class Bagnoli's social fabric.
This unpretentious trattoria has become a must go place for me and my family every time I travel back home to Naples (having lived overseas for many years now), so we have sampled many of the items on the menu, and never been disappointed.
As is the case when ingredients are truly fresh, the menu choice is varied, but not overly extensive: pasta dishes include all-time favourites such as spaghetti with clams or traditional pasta allo scoglio, alongside more adventurous creations such as the superbly tasting carbonara di mare, one of the chef's hit dishes. Their paccheri with salted cod are absolutely divine, lapped by the sauce of the most delicious tomatoes I can think of, so sweet and flavoursome. So there's something for everyone or every occasion, according to whether you want to stick to the stripped back simplicity of time-honoured Neapolitan cookery or branch out to more complex flavours.
We have also had all sorts of grilled platters and they have equally been excellent (swordfish, squid, king prawns), as well as daily specials cooked to high standards.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place for those who are looking for uncompromisingly fresh ingredients cooked in an uncomplicated way, and served by kind and attentive staff. There's always a specially personable touch in Zio Ciro himself coming out at some point from his kitchen haunt to check you are enjoying the meal. Such a homely feel and always great chats!

Located in a nice neighborhood but somehow the place just feels uncomfortable. The service was rather cold (maybe cause the waiters were mostly focused on the football match rather than the guests). The food was average, I would even say not delicious enough, especially given the “good” price you are being charged for. Overall did not enjoy it here at all and it was a big disappointment (as we were in Naples for 3 nights only and were focused on finding tasty places for the dinners).

Visited this lovely restaurant for our first dinner in Naples. These guys clearly specialise in seafood and had an abundance of different options (including fried calamari and prawns which were delicious!). Our waiter , Salvatore was so attentive and friendly and spoke fantastic English - he took our temperature on arrival and contact details for coronavirus track and trace, so we felt very safe. I treated myself to an excellent margerita pizza and a dessert (not 100% sure what it actually was as it was recommended by the waiter, but it was delicious nonetheless). Would definitely come back here!

My food was perfect, however, service was brisk and a bit cold (a bit neopolitan I suppose) and their treatment of my husband regarding his nut allergy was frustrating. They removed all sauce/ garnish/sides without saying or recommending a more suitable dish. He was still charged the full price for half a dish.

We had dinner late at night and, considering that it was during the week, this is pretty unusual, but definitely a good aspect. The food was amazing: we ordered raw fish as a starter and, as a main course, steamed salmon with vegetable and grilled swordfish. A very suggestive location, on the seafront with a romantic atmosphere. Everything was ok (what a pity that some waiters were not totally friendly with us). Anyway, suggested place!

Excellent seafood restaurant, good service, wonderful experience
N40°49.700' E14°14.914' on the island of Castle Nuovo, this restaurant is known for its seafood dishes. Carnivores should not be disappointed: they also have a good meat menu in English. Dinner starts around 7.30pm and the restaurant fills up quickly. The restaurant has an outside terrace on the square and a second one on the waterside. In April 2019, we made a reservation to sit inside in a beautiful interior overlooking the water and close to the lobster tank.
In April 2019, we ordered Caprese salad (€12) and seafood soup (€16) as starters. The latter is not really soup but a small portion of boiled mussels. The Caprese salad with mozzarella and excellent olive oil was delicious. Such a simple dish offering so much taste. Amazing.
The first main course was fried fish (cod, mullets, sole, anchovies, squids, red prawns, wheat flour, salt, pepper) €18. Fried like Japanese tempura, it was delicious. To supplement the little portion of salad, the eggplant lasagne was a good side dish.
The other main course was the tuna Sasà (tuna sesame) with simple strawberries salad (€22). The quality of the tuna was equal to tuna served in Japan. Fresh, delicate and full of flavour. Instead of the soya sauce, the sesame oil was a surprise. The salad with small strawberries was excellent. We enjoyed the local white Lacrima Christi del Vesuvio Mastrobernardono (€30)
With a line of guests waiting for a table, the best thing about the service was not rushing our dinner. There was no pressure from the waiters at all. After finishing dessert, the waiter asked if we would like coffee or something else. We stayed and enjoyed the music of the guitarist and the singing of the guests. For foreign visitors, a wonderful experience.
La Scialuppa offers a culinary experience with excellent food, great service and music in beautiful surroundings. Although not cheap, it is worth the price. Very recommended.

Really nice and Kind service. Tried the chocolate dessert and it was really yummy. Homemade gnocchi were tasty 👌🏼

Been In naples for 4 days, out of all the places I have eaten this was by far the best, that good been 2 times as 1st time was undecided over calzone and a pizza, don't believe me, just try it, staff amazing, genuinely want your custom, food is just as good, the restaurant decor, music it all just works.

Visited this place for an evening meal with friends which was minutes walk away from our hotel. The place is set in an Italian traditional building next to a yacht marina. The surrounding area is beautiful. Food is fantastic especially for all those who love sea food and fresh Mediterranean fish. You can dine inside or out side. An Italian was playing the guitar and singing traditional Italian sing along songs from table to table. The sweet pastry 'Baba' at the end with an espresso were the highlight of it all.

Very friendly staff services, good prices and super good food. I've been in Naples twice. My wife and I eat there everyday we vacation here in Naples.. they make us feel at home....
