Beautiful furniture, friendly sercice, but why 3 stars, I selected option for assembly, great job guys, and once the guys are done they dont take the boxes the goods came in back, i am sitting with that dirt. Decofurn, charged me to assemble but i must get rid of the boxes. Kuk... i tell u!
Ordered an item online. My first time entering the store ever. Went to the counter to collect my parcel. I told the sales assistant “I’d like to collect my parcel” she looked at me so confused?
Next she asked me for my order number and gave it to her, proceeded to say it’s incorrect and if she can see my phone. Then she says I should’ve given her the one time pin? These small nuances of not being able to take accountability is quite tiring and unnecessary - I have to worked in retail in my uni days and it was a bit shocking for me.

A very disappointing experience at this branch as it’s incredibly messy; all the clothes are bunched up so tightly and not colour -coordinated like the other Poetry stores. It’s the most disorganised store, no service at all either. It literally needs a complete overhaul.
Absolutely HORRIBLE with communication and delivery! We ordered a mirror in the beginning of December 2023, and its now end April 2024!
And every time we call to find out about the order , they tell us that they will call us back ! WHICH THEY NEVER DO !

I absolutely LOVE shopping at decofern. They have unbeatable prices, all the staff are so so friendly and the sales people know their products... It's so easy to shop there and everything just works there. I can't wait to go buy my new couch from them. Best service and value for money!!! Please keep it up guys, you are all SUPER ⭐'s.
Although the prices are good and the products are beautiful this does not make up for the bad service we experienced. It is so bad that we would rather spend hours searching for an item then be met with the concending service we have experienced. It almost feels like you are bothering the staff by asking for assistance.
Has a lot of choices. One of the main stores with men's clothing which is generally difficult to find on this end of the world.
They have good furniture pieces but their customer service is terrible. I had to follow up on an order and do all the calling in to check how far they were with my delivery.
Spoke to the manager about this and he didn't seem to understand what my issue was.
They don't communicate well and they have a tendency of saying they will call you back when you call in and sometimes they don't.

Terrible service, long queues as they only have 2 staff members at the tills. Management ignores you if ask a question.

I was returning an online order and the store manager and guy at dispatch was so helpful and tried all avenues to make the return process so smooth and easy. They explained to me what was happening and kept insuring me that they were still busy with me not to leave the store. Took less than 15 min and everyone involved from the store manager to dispatch/collections to the cashiers were very friendly excellent customer service and after service

Terrible experience with Poetry of Living. I’ve ordered furniture online twice- the first was a dream, the second an absolute disaster. I queried the delay in receipt of my coffee table and was advised by consultants that the order was “out for delivery before 5pm today” for TWO days in a row and nothing arrived, despite me ensuring that someone was at home and available at all times to receive the order. The courier did not contact me to schedule or alert me of delivery date either. When it finally arrived today, the couriers said they do not assemble (which is apparently offered to customers). When I opened the box, I discovered the loose screws strewn around (not even packaged together) and there were only seven screws and washers for a table that needs EIGHT at a minimum (12 to cover all). I’ve never received furniture without the necessary parts to assemble! To top it all off, the length of the screws sent were too short (40mm) so I had to go back to the hardware store to get all new 50mm screws. Absolutely disgusting service. I also never get a timeous response by emailing customer service - their responses are always delayed so I have been on the phone with poetry at least 8 times this week. Absolute waste of my time and money. Beautiful furniture but so not worth the drama and poor service that accompanies it.

I received no box, no instruction manual to assemble a simple office chair. I called the store a thousand times and each time there was no solution provided! the Manager was to busy to return my call and the staff was not solution driven!!!
This was indeed the worse WORSE! service I received from Mr Price!!!!
Next time I'll take business else where. This is not worth a 1 star-rating at all.

I will not waste my time by going there again. I recently bought a 2-bedroom flat and thought it a good idea to go to one shop to fit the place out.

What a wonderful welcome from Namhle. I had a great experience in this store. I came looking for a belt and left very satisfied. Every staff member was helpful and attentive.
Our cousin's from Abbotsdale was ready to purchase tiles and we suggested Malls Tiles and I am glad to report, they were pleasantly surprised and the left with tiles of their choice and price range. Thank you for your service
Just wanna shout a big up to Lucinda at Poetry Somerset Mall, what a star and an excellent service you deserve a big up ,walking in your store and you could pick up I'm troubled and you going all out to jump for your sister store Cape Union Mart .I had such a bad experience upon collection of my order where I was told even the courier company does not exist but that didn't stop you to look deeper to my problem, track and assist to find my order that was actually there, stopped me on using my airtime after being on hold for 22min to find my order. You assured me that you will find it and revert back to me and indeed you kept your word. All along my order was there with them just someone couldnt do their job properly. It was so disappointing to get such service but thanks to someone like you who put me all at ease and helped me to track my order I'm forever grateful, stay as humbled as you are Poetry Somerset did a best job by selecting such a champion …..Thank you so much , you deserve a reward and keep up with your good work .

I can understand why there is only five star reviews. The ordering and payment was seemless. The subsequent communications were clear and kept me up to date and the order was delivered in less than two days, with a little personal thank you note. Fantastic.
Fantastic, I had an order, paid for it, got to the pickup point, and found it to be the wrong tile. I informed them, and they quickly sorted out my wrong tile box and gave a refund. George, the sales consultant, was great and helped me quickly
We were looking to buy dining room chairs and went to look here at Decofurn Furniture.
This store is like a warehouse, a big and open-plan room, filled with a massive variety of furniture.
They are reasonably priced and we not only left with six beautiful chairs but with two cupboards and a dressing table for my daughter’s room. Good quality for money.
The only thing I do not like is the Marketting messages we now must put up with.

What a wonderful experience. Greeted at the door by friendly faces and immediately directed to right person to offer assistance. Show room, downstairs and upstairs, beautiful and clean. Great variety. Fast service, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Stand out features: table with colouring activities and caretaker for kids :) Vending machine. Clean toilets.

i)LOVE everything about the wrapping - brown paper, knotted string pattern and the exquisite handwritten address details!
ii)Impressed with your chosen courier company; they notified me on the day the parcel arrived, and again 5 min before arrival, and also gave me the driver's name - I didn't have to wait all day and I felt more human being able to greet Enoch.
You have managed to successfully bridge change by pairing and what is good about the old-school style with digital technology that is very satisfying.

I'm very disappointed by this store’s service. I went to take out my laybye only to be told the jacket is nowhere to be found. I waited over 30mins as they were busy looking only to be told they will call me when they find it. I travelled over 40km to go fetch this item for tomorrow’s event. What an inconvenience! Someone from that store sold my item as it was the last one in the country.

Large variety of tiles with lots of displays showcasing their offerings. Busier than other tile shops in the area... they have tiles on specials and regular prices so there are bargains to be had if the discounted tiles are the size and color you're looking for 👍
Installed polished porcelain tiles in dining, kitchen and lounge area in Dec 2021. After installation we noticed water stains on various tiles and the stain could not be removed ie: plain tap water with no chemicals staining on the tiles. Informed Malls Tiles on 05 Jan 22 (Alia) and Floor manager (Welcome) came out 06 Jan 22 and confirmed tap water leaving a stain as well as dropping normal tea on the tile which left a stain. 2 Weeks later (18 Jan) still no feedback provided after I emailed on 11 Jan 2022 for feedback. Called today (18 Jan 22) and spoke to Welcome to enquire about lack of feedback, as the branch manager was not available, and was informed there are many people on the list and we the last on that list and would need to give me feedback when the person dealing with this comes in tomorrow (19 Jan). These tiles were not cheap and the after service experienced is very bad.

Helpful and friendly staff. Bought porcelain tiles which was sold as 1st grade,but it's third grade at other stores. I guess hence they cheaper. Allot of their tiles has chips and tiles are not aligned.
Carefully curated best of the best Japanese products sold and delivered by a great team offering fantastic service. Thoroughly recommended -;particularly if you're looking for that something for someone who has everything...

Bought some oil diffusers and scented oils and I'm IN LOVE! They were really kind to set them aside for me (they sell out fast, at least at the other stores they do).
They burners are so gorgeous, intricate and such a good value for money considering the price of scented candles and other fragranced items. The scent is absolutely beautiful and definitely adds to making my home smell more homey! Perfect for our new house.
The clothing is also gorgeous and wonderful quality - always get complimented when I'm wearing my Poetry dresses! Lovely store.

This is such a nice shop to visit. The shop is massive and have a homeware, a clothing and a sports department. Their prices are quite reasonable and it is a pleasure to shop at a place with wide isles with plenty of space to stand and browse. They also have ample stock on the floor. Their displays are really lovely as well. The shop has large windows and with lots of light streaming into the shop. We'll qoth a visit.
