Honestly one of the best dentist offices in the area! The staff is amazing and kind! They accommodate nervous patients and set a great and relaxing experience/environment! 10/10 recommend!
Doctor Miller is amazing I highly recommend this office as well as her. She was gentle and gets the job done. Thank you so much!!!

Dr. Dean has created somewhere truly special with this dental office. They care and more than that, they do excellent work with top equipment. Thank you for taking such good care of myself and my son during our time on Medicaid insurance when so many other medical providers just wanted to get rid of us because we couldn’t pay more. Bless you and all your wonderful staff.
My 2 year old had his first dentist appointment today and they were so fantastic with him! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist. They also took our Medicaid! So awesome

We've used Smiles 4 Kids since our children were toddlers and they are teens now. A great place for every age, they do their best to educate, not just tell them to brush their teeth. They have always been on point handling any scary moments, my middle daughter preferred them to pull her teeth vs herself when she was losing teeth. A great staff, a great atmosphere, if I could give more stars I would.

I called their office because my Kids’ dentist told us she needed a root canal and no one in our town had any availability until two months away, I called several offices in Grand Junction and this one was one of them. I asked if they did root canals because my child needs one according to her dentist the lady who answered the phone said yes we do but we will need to make a first appointment and then schedule the procedure. I thought that sounded reasonable, so I scheduled it for today. Keep in mind that we live an hour away and I had to take time off work so I can get the ball rolling with my kid’s treatment. We get here and for some reason, their windows have been vandalized (that should have been a tip-off) we check in and they want to do X-rays I asked them if they did not get the ones from our dentists because I was worried our insurance would not pay for another set of X-rays. The lady said we did not but no worries we like to do our own anyway and your insurance will pay. Finally time to see the dentist he goes in checks her teeth and says yup she needs a root canal and a filling on another molar. We can refer you to someone for this root canal. Wait a minute I thought you guys do root canals, dentists say nope we don’t so I explain my frustration and he just says well there must have been some sort of miscommunication and that pissed me off even more. I was very clear when I made the first phone call there was no misunderstanding on my part. You just like to scam people and bill their insurance. Don’t waste your time here they are not worth the boards that are covering their windows.
Very good dentist. They consider all options and include all dimensions involved in their recommendations, examinations , and procedures. They work with me to suit my specific requests, where I'm not willing to get fillings. I especially appreciated working with Marixa. She first made me feel a lot better, and the work she did on my tooth was far superior to any other dental work I've ever seen. Very precise and detailed, plus customized to fit my needs. All with in-depth care and collaboration amongst the doctors, as needed. You won't find a better dentist anywhere near Grand junction. I actually did have fun at fun at the dentist.
Thank you
BEYOND DISAPPOINTED AND FURTHER TRAUMATIZED FROM AN OVERINFLATED EGO...... Seemed to be a really cool and accommodating dentistry at first and it is to an extent, that is if you get helped by the right people. Not entirely sure who the clown is that doesn't know how to do his job, so i wont put him on blast entirely but him and his clown assistant should probably figure it out and be more professional. If i tried to voice my concerns it was met with smart remarks and rude things said in a demeaning way which really caught me off guard because the consult showed me two entirely different people. It took until the sweetest assistant ive ever met came along and actually took the time to help me and the situation her rude coworkers had gotten us in. I was hurt pretty bad and needed a second to process what a "doctor" had just put me through and he went on to say " im not sure this is going to work because this is not normal behavior" like oh yeah im sure bub, id wager when someone gets an injection into the front of their mouth without any previous numbing gel on the spot he was "trying to get" so every ounce of the "pinch" was felt to the most extreme degree it should be expected.... not "taken as a surprise" and then shoved off as blame on me. REALIZE WHERE THE NUMBING GEL WAS ACTUALLY PUT AND MAYBE DONT INJECT INTO GUMS THAT WERENT IN ANYWAY NUMB AT ALL. When the incident was happening I raised my hand and winced the best i could without spitting everywhere because ms.little no help assistant thought borderline water boarding me was a good idea. I sat up as soon as they were clear from my mouth and he then couldnt wait at all for a response and instantly went on to make demeaning remarks and say beyond unprofessional things and he even asked my partner if i have a "medical condition" because the anxiety and physical pain he had caused not 60 seconds prior made me get overwhelmed and emotional.... real quick just wanted to mention that i did indeed fill out a medical history/medical chart, did dr.clown not even look at that? I was referred to this dentist by someone that had gone for more than 10 years without a single problem and i truly think my biggest mistake was not making sure i was seeing the same dentist that was nothing but wonderful for her.... if any more things need said to stay away from that clown you can look on their website and i believe the clown is the so called "doctor" with a three word description of himself. Beyond disappointed and as a patient, dont see how such a disgusting person could even get into such a position to "help people"....Dr.clown, you know who you are. Ill be waiting for an apology.
Very good experience for my two littles! Although they are young, their fears were set at ease with the very kind and understanding staff. Thank you for making first timers feel welcome and at ease.

The staff are so friendly. The dentists are very knowledgeable and amazing with the kids. They create a great atmosphere the kids enjoy and feel comfortable in.
Everyone here was so incredibly kind, attentive, and informative! It's easy to tell they love working with kids and want those kids to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. We will absolutely be going back for our twice a year check-ups/cleanings because it's, dare I say it, kind of fun to be there? Thank you all so much!
10/10! The entire staff is phenomenal! What an absolute find. I originally came to this due to an emergency, and their caring, welcoming staff put me right at ease. Doc is really great and looked put for MY best interests and treatment plan. Transparent pricing and billing based on my insurance was available throughout the process. For me, dental is never easy, and good dental is never cheap, but these folks made it the best possible experience I could ask for.
Wow!!! Dr. Beck and the staff are INCREDIBLE!! It was our 16 month old daughter’s first ever dentist appointment and they did a wonderful job making her (and us) feel comfortable. They even had bubbles to finish off the appointment. We all left smiling. 😁
All the staff that I’ve had the pleasure of talking & working with truly went above and beyond for my son and I. I had to find a new dentist for my 4 year old as the previous place wanted to put him to sleep & cap all his cavities with silver, which I felt was very drastic. I was able to thankfully find and work with Dr. Ryan who took the time to fill his cavities instead of capping them (there was also 4 less than what the last place said) and he was able to be awake with local anesthesia + laughing gas. Regina and him were very patient, kind and reassured my son through all of it. Lindsey and Robin also were very sweet, helpful and really care about their patients. I would 11/10 highly recommend to anyone in need of a new dentist. Thank you again for all of your help and for taking the best care of my son! 💖
First of all this place is very LGBTQIA+ friendly! Huge plus, I couldn't recommend them enough. Mel was the one who did my dental cleaning and exam and she was absolutely lovely. The Dr I saw was also incredibly informative and kind. Very lovely staff, have been incredibly happy with my care thus far and look forward to getting my mouth healthy and happy. Thank you again!
There are no downsides to this office. They treat me and my kids wonderfully every single time we go in. They take the time to explain everything and make sure you as a parent are comfortable before moving forward with anything. I truly could not imagine a better experience.
I’ve had bad experiences with dentists in the past and have avoided making a new appointment for years because of that. After one visit here I can honestly say I don’t feel the need to to do that anymore. All of the staff were very kind and relaxed and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was a really good experience. Definitely recommend!
I was very pleased with my first visit to Ruby Canyon Dental. The staff was informative, thorough, and very personable! I am looking forward to my next visit. What a wonderful group of people.

While traveling through the area I had an issue with a crown. Ruby Canyon was able to get me right in and review the situation. I thought I had broken the crown but, after their review, it was only an adhesive failure. Silly me, I forgot the crown where we were staying an hour away. Brought it back the next day to be reattached. Whew, quick cleanup, reattach and I was good to go. Great education, patience and customer service. Highly recommend. Thank you.
AWESOME TEAM.
I had a medical emergency and Dr. Helgerson is jumping through hoops to make me whole on the weekend! Regina has also gone above and beyond. These folks all really care about your needs and comfort. I give them a 15 on a scale of 1-10.

Beyond satisfied customer.
I would give it a higher review, but they canceled my kids appointment within a few hours, which they should reconsider because sometimes parents have to work and I get in at 7am and by 9:58 it was canceled, I'm not allowed to be on my phone at my place of work, so my lunch is from 12 to 1pm. How am I suppose to respond when I work fulltime. But because of this press C to confirm thing and if you don't respond within 5 seconds(this is exaggerated) but it will get canceled. We also thought it was weird they wanted to take our 3 year old back without a parent and put her under 6 months ago. Make sure you do appointments on a day off because you might have to wait a long time. The Dentist was really good with our kids the 1st appointment. I went to another dentist with my oldest when he was 8 and his brother was 2, they let me take my youngest back there(this dentist office won't let you).
I am a new patient to Bookcliff Family Dental as my previous dentist retired. I was so blown away by how cohesive the staff's teamwork was. My interaction with Bookcliff started with Robin who was employed at my previous dentist's practice. She facilitated matching me to a hygienist she thought was similar to the one I had at the previous practice, which made me feel well taken care of from the get go. Also, it was nice to see a familiar face at a new office. Melanie was my hygienist and it was evident that she knows what she's doing. She gave me so much information that I wish I would have known about my teeth and oral health sooner. Melanie was kind and listened to my questions and concerns. I am newly postpartum and Melanie genuinely asked if I was doing okay and how the healing was going, validating how beautiful, albeit difficult at times, motherhood can be. Dr. Ryan introduced himself as 'Ryan' which I thought was very humble, he did not have an egocentric energy to him and rather looked at our appointment as a collaborative effort. Overall, I had a comprehensive initial appointment. I was well informed every step of the way. The care was safe, clean, efficient, and caring. I have referred my husband to start receiving his care here and look forward to having my children meet the office as well. My only possible gripe is that I was informed my teeth were too white for whitening treatments, lol! Which I suppose is a wonderful thing for my teeth (and wallet) afterall. Thank you Bookcliff Family Dental!

Went here to get a check up and cleaning, the hygienist cleaned about 3 teeth before the dentist walk in, told me, not asked, that he was going to schedule me for wisdom teeth surgery, which when I politely declined he seemed irritated at me, and told me I need 2 root canals. They never finished cleaning my teeth, And I never heard back from them to get the root canals I "needed".

I went for a second opinion at a different office and the other dentist saw no need for invasive root canals, or for wisdom teeth removal as they are not giving me any problems and grew in just fine and just simply gave me the fillings (not root canals) I needed and did it in a nice professional manner.

I am biased based on my negative experience with yes dental and this is purely speculation but it seems based on what happened to me, money earned per patient was a deciding factor on what care should be provided. Not what would be best/ healthiest for the patient.
I have been using them for a couple of years now. Great staff. Professional

Scheduled an appointment for a 6 month cleaning, 2 weeks in advance. Arrived on time and was told they were running 15-30 minutes behind. Waited for 30 minutes, only to watch 4 patients that arrived AFTER me get called back.

Everyone at this practice is very friendly and professional. This is the first time I had to wait more than 15 minutes to be taken back for my cleaning. I mention this because there is a sign posted that states "If you have been waiting 15 minutes, let the receptionist know." I gave the hygienist a few extra minutes and was about to talk to the receptionist when my name was called. The hygienist was very gentle and did a great job cleaning my teeth.
Best practice I have been to ever. Kind, courteous and informative. From basic cleaning to replacing old fillings, I was told exactly what was going on. Always on time, never sitting in the waiting room while assistants are chatting. Professional and clean. Finally found a dentists office I can count on
My wife went in with pain from an abscesses gum he took a bunch x-rays didn't even look in her mouth and charged the insurance for which she only has a $1000 worth of dental and "referred" her away once he billed out all her insurance money on x-rays...SCAM ARTIST
AWFUL!!!! DONT GO HERE!! was coming in for a root canal and to get a tooth pulled and they were incredibly unprofessional!!!!!!! Don’t recommend this place to anyone. The dentist walked out of my room and refused to help me simply because I have anxiety!! Truly an awful place to go especially if you have anxiety. I’ve never had a worse experience

My far the worst place to go!! Never will we ever go here again. They need professionals to work here. The lady at the window is the rudest of all people!! Never in 49 years have I had to show my ID to take my child to the dentist!! People here are petty and unprofessional!!

0 as well. I went in for a root canal/ crown, granted i didn't have any pain or irratation.

They started to drill it out. then said not enough tooth to save or we could try, and then the crown fails later just to have an extraction later. I asked them to pull it right then. They said No to busy, so they packed it and said, "See you next Thursday." No pain pill no antibiotics nothing!

Two days later, my face swells to the size of a softball because of a massive infection that i didnt have to start out with and I have to go to the ER on Sunday and miss work. AND then they still charged me for the full root canal when they didn't even complete half of it!

BY FAR THE WORST DENTIST I'VE EVER BEEN TO!!

DONT COME HERE!!
My experiences at Ruby Canyon have always been great. Today Jenny was the hygienist. I have sip sensitive teeth . Jenny was extremely gentle and listened to my pain level. Made me very comfortable and not feeling anxious. The entire experience was very good.
I would also like to that the front staff. They are always very helpful and handle everything task with ease.
Thank you
I've been going here for several years and haven't had any problems. The staff is curtious & friendly. The dentists are caring and talked about options I had when a tooth was problematic. I highly recommend them for any age group.
I cannot rave enough about Everyone at Fun @ the Dentist! They are considerate, gentle and take tremendous pride in the work that they do. I am always confident and grateful in their work. Thank you all for your help and support!😁
It was my first time going to this dentistry and I had a great experience! My hygienist, Abby, explained everything thoroughly and made me feel comfortable! Dr. Ryan was also very friendly, when I expressed that I had a referral sent out to an ENT from my primary, but had not heard anything, he processed to give me the contact information of one and speed up the whole process. Overall, I had a great experience and will continue to come here.
New in the area and this place was recommended by a friend. Friendly front office staff! Friendly faces that made us feel welcome 🤗
My kiddos are 10 & 8 yrs old. Jamie & Dr. Beck did an amazing job making my kids feel comfortable, especially for my 8yr old who is special needs. My 8 yr old was starting to feel anxious especially since it is a new place, and new people. They both too the extra steps to making her comfortable where they were able to finish their work. Afterwards they explained everything and gave opinions. I am thankful that this was a positive experience! This is our new dentist! I would definitely recommend this place!

My experience was amazing! Everyone really does want what is best for the patient, it's not just about the money. I admit it has been a while since I've been to the dentist but now I'm on an affordable yearly plan and can't be happier with the service I got today. Thank you all for an unexpected pleasure.
Short and to the point. As a new customer they get you in and rescheduled, no problem. But as you become a "regular " you can't get simple things done every year, like cleanings. We pay for the "insurance " at ruby canyon and I am supposed to have 2 cleanings a year, by the time I get my next cleaning it will have been 14 months. Don't get their insurance, it's a rip off.

Came in for a small chip on one incisor. Dr. Clifton wanted to add a lot of material that would be costly and require anesthesic. I mentioned I would rather it just be smoothed. He was curt and began working right away. He ground up a large chunk of tooth, much more than I knew he would. He also began, without permission or even informing me, to grind large amounts of my lower incisors. I went in with a little chip and no pain. I left with multiple teeth I can't bite with because they hurt so bad. My teeth look bad and uneven.
Thank God they gave me a decent discount so I can hopefully afford to repair the massive damage he did. Other than the dentist the rest of the staff I met was very nice and patient.

First trip here! I will tell you. Given I don’t like dental work at all! These people rock! Jordan did a great job of introducing me to the facility doing all the normal first time dental stuff. He was fast AND efficient. Did a great job on x-rays and cleaning. Plus He explained the the probe measures perfectly. The place is high tech, clean and efficient. Oh yes, very personable and friendly. Dr. Waddell is great too. I claim both of these people as mine! I was told I have an issue to watch and she explained it perfectly. Great job to both of them. Based on everything I went through I would guess everyone there is professional and so their job just as good as mine. Exemplary is the best word to use!

I never write reviews but this place is absolutely HORRIBLE. Right when you walk in something seems off. It looks like a pop-up telemarketing office more than a medical/dental office, and there is zero effort made to appeal to their kid patients. I brought my toddler here and was told he would need 4-5 extractions. This seemed suspect since less then 2 weeks prior his regular dentist had seen him and that's not at all what the referral was for. They also wanted me to come in for multiple appointments because my insurance would "only pay for so many teeth at a time". Luckily my gut feeling paired with the uneducated, misinformed, highly disorganized, and RUDE front office staff put me off brining him for the appointment. Upon getting a second opinion he needed ZERO EXTRACTIONS and just some simple caps which was all done in a single appointment lasting less than 1 hour. This place's staff DOES NOT HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL PEDIATRIC TRAINING. It is exactly what it looks like: a bottom rung operation run by minimally educated and unprofessional staff milking insurance money with unnecessary procedures and visits. The only reason they haven't been sued is probably because they cater to low-income medicaid patients who can't afford to stand up for themselves in a legal battle. RUN FROM THIS PLACE and believe the bad reviews.
Went In about 2 years ago and had all teeth replaced with crowns. A little under 30k. Should last 15-20 years. That being said it's been under 2 and the majority of the teeth have already failed. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't make the mistake I did and go elsewhere. How does 1 dentist do 22 teeth wrong and stay in business? They shouldn't be.

Definitely would not recommend. My son needed cavities fixed and the procedure that was recommended seemed very intense and traumatizing so I went to a different dentist to get a second opinion, turns out the procedure that smiles for kids offered is extremely traumatic for kids to go through and goes against guidelines.

While vacationing on the mainland from Hawai’i, I had the misfortune of damaging my crown. After calling several dental offices who couldn’t accommodate me, I was thrilled to find Bright Smiles in Grand Junction. From the very first phone call, the staff was very professional and went out of their way to work me into their busy schedule. When I arrived, I promptly received the dental treatment I needed and everyone was so kind. Kudos to Dr. Clifton and all the staff! If I could rate more than 5 stars, I definitely would. I HIGHLY recommend Bright Smiles Dentistry and Dr. Brett Clifton. Cathy Zimmer

I fully trust Dr. Clifton and his staff. His hygienist gives me the most thorough cleanings I've ever had, and she's super gentle. They recently fitted me for an occlusion guard because I have TMJ syndrome from grinding my teeth. I've gotten so used to chronic jaw pain that I had no idea how much better I could feel. After getting the occlusion guard, I noticed improvement right away. My jaw doesn't ache any more! Dr. Clifton is very honest and takes time to explain treatment and answer questions.
