This place is awesome. Pier 62 has indoor basketball courts, soccer fields, gymnastics rooms, etc.

Okay now that that's out of the way, the real reason I am writing this review is I just finished a pickleball league here, and need to write a message to the Fermented Cucumber faithful. I wont be speaking to the media or doing an exit interview, so this will be my final message for the Cuc fans until next season:

First off, I would like to address the rumors head on. Yes, I had about 6-8 Tequila sodas on the yacht before the game on Thursday. After knocking off the #1 seed "It's Kosher" the week prior, I will be the first to admit I took "Dil with the Dinks" lightly, and it showed.

The bigger picture is that I let the newfound fame, money, and success get to me. When you are from where I am from and receive a Brinks truck of money over night, it's hard to not get lost in it. Icarus, who ignored his father's warnings about his wings melting when flying too close to the sun, comes to mind.

The former undisputed middleweight champion of the world Marvin Hagler but it ever-so eloquently when he said "It's difficult to get up and do roadwork at five in the morning when you're sleeping in silk sheets." I lost sight of what got me here, but I promise you, Cuc faithful, I am getting it back. There is a fire in my belly now bigger than I ever could have imagined. I am going to soak in defeat, and really feel this feeling to fan the flame for next season.

Next season for us starts right now. We have a million and one excuses that we could go to. The fact of the matter is we aren't going to make one. The Dinks played better than we did in this series and we still had an opportunity to win it, but it didn't go for us. This offseason, I'm going to push myself to exhaustion to get back here.

I will not sleep until The Alphabet City Fermented Cucumbers are the ZogSports New York City Indoor Pickle Ball Chelsea Piers Thursday night Champions of the World.

As I write this, Drew Zhou and I are on the way to throw out our silk sheets. I will see you in the Fall, Cuc faithful.

Highlight of our trip. Quiet enough before noon for the kids to play in this space. Pick-up games are fun to watch - and catching some of the Kenny Graham tournament was amazing. Better than Rucker.
There is an insanely creepy tunnel that goes underneath the Hudson River Parkway is not lit up and is scary.

‼️‼️‼️ LET'S NOT LEAVE OUT THE SPRAY PAINTED WARNING THAT SAYS "TWO UNSOLVED MURDERS HERE: WATCH YOUR BACK" ‼️‼️‼️

Super cool park located by the subway! Kind of small but perfect at the same time to have a basketball game or handball game. We just sat and watched the scenery! It was a lot to take in!

I had a great time we all did with the family and friends and the park is nice because the rangers come around and grounds men clean up and make sure things are orderly and things are clean. The families that are all around people's own families are you getting along everybody's having a good time cooking meals, very nice park and a nice playground area for children very nice.
Historic, Historic famous West 4t Street Park. It's a spot to see real street ball, real street rules hard-core basketball. It's maintained and sponsored by Nike. Not really a place to sit and watch but if you can find some standing room it's a vibe. Must see if you're in the West Village

I love taking in the view of the Hudson while playing golf. I don't know of any other place where you can enjoy such a great view while you play golf.
Watching the games is always amazing here. Great company and wonderful vibes always

Excellent! An experience we'll never forget, and one very different from the times we went on other Harbor cruises.
A breath of fresh air in comparison with other, more crowded , NY City tourist attractions.
This park is definitely more that meets the eye. From the cleanliness of the park, to the peace and tranquility, plus the scenery. Not to mention the free movie's in that park. Definitely a great experience.
Awesome Place Court is kinda small how do tournaments play here ? Maybe I should try a tournament one day and see how it goes I'm quite interested

One of NYC's premier Pro-Am basketball leagues is played here from late May to mid-August. Weekday games are at 6 pm. Weekend games start at 10 am, every 2 hours, and the last game starts at 6pm.

The pick up games can be very entertaining as well. It's quick entertainment for the passers-by or a basketball fan.

Fun place for kids and adults who play sports. Pier 61 has a couple of ice skating rinks.
But it is expensive. The vending machine with chips etc is $2.50 / ea
That is crazy!!

I've been coming here since childhood to relax and let go. This place indeed has changed over the years. The best time to come is during weekdays and preferably in the mornings.
It's hard to get a spot to play because it's busy all the time. But good for a group of friends in summer. It has fresh air from Hudson, consider it as a natural air conditioner. Perfect public place with a nearby restroom. I highly recommend basket players try this place.
Imagine this scenario:
It's a nice spring Saturday, a perfect day to take pick-up basketball way too seriously. You have just scored 4 baskets in a row, telling the other team made up of accountants and construction workers "GET A HAND UP I'M TRYNA GET BETTER!"

A crowd is gathering along the fence. The baddies running down the westside highway stopping to see what all the commotion is. "Who is that guy?" They wonder to themselves, subtly biting their lip.

It's now game point, the Freedom Tower also has eyes it's on you as you call for an iso. The crowd anticipation is tangible.
In and out cross, the defender buckles. Hard pound dribble to a step back as you let that thing fly...... BAAAAAANNNNGGGGG!

But yeah, this court is great as the nets are fully intact and court is freshly paved. The upkeep is unmatched. Tompkins square park please take notes.

I've heard about this facility for a long time and can't believe it took me this long to sign up for their league.

The league management is tier one and the facility does not disappoint.

There are probably 8 and a half full length basketball courts that all have state-of-the-art scoreboards and the the floors look newly renovated.

If you're looking for a league that's well-ordanized and has good competition, Basketball City is definitely where it's at!

Narrow strip of land with steep slope, it took a great design to make it a neighborhood place for people of all ages to enjoy. Best in summer and fall where various outdoor activities are popular for the neighbors nearby, from BBQ to baseball game to outdoor cinema.

Beautiful park with morning sunshine. It feels so peaceful to hear children playing and see families gathering here for the weekend. It adds a hint of warmth and tranquility for life in this busy megapolis :)

Passed through this park on the Hudson River Greenway bike path. It has tennis courts, a public bathroom & plenty of benches to sit on & look at the bridge, Hudson River & NJ.

A long thin park definitely worth a walk! Climbing up the few flights of stairs there will give you a lovely view as well and I would definitely recommend it. I have not done it at sunset but I assume it can be gorgeous too. Overall, definitely worth a calm and nice walk there to enjoy the park itself and the scenic view it gives over some parts of the city. If you walk it north to south you can then easily end your walk in Central Park which will be just nearby.
This is one of the best park to relax. Fresh air, great views, peace and quiet.
And they have 8 tennis courts and they have a tennis lesson at court 1. This coach is great!! He is very energetic and care for each student's level. He is very popular!!!

This Pier has a combination of Piers, you can organize the best wedding and any event here. The Staff are well-trained, friendly and welcoming. This is kind of located on the Hudson River and you will see different types of Ships here.
A nice basketball court by the river.
It's a really good park it has so many different enjoyment and also has good stuff for the kids really good Park
I enjoyed a live concert titled, "Breathe" conducted and produced by Craig Harris, composer, arranger AND co-composer of the soundtrack for the film "Judas and the Black Messiah." Harris is also the artistic director for the Harlem Jazz Series. You can find out more about his live jazz series which happens in Harlem at HarlemJazzBoxx.com

This place is really cool, really fun. I was invited to the driving range today. Got to whack some balls. The tee sets the ball itself, I just swung over and over again. Even felt myself improving over the 2 hour period.

Overlooking the Hudson, laughing and enjoying the easy vibes. Felt like a nice getaway even though I was still in the heart of the city. Definitely will return soon
My favorite to go place which has lots of amazing views. It lies below the Washington bridge and on the side of beautiful Hudson river. There is lots of open space , playground, swings and other material for playing. This place is always crowded since most of the people go their for evening walk. Also this place is best for running and doing exercise. There is spot for family picnic as well. Absolutely a hidden gem on the bank of Hudson river.
This place is terrible. The hoops are broken. The concrete is cracked and I broke my ankle when landing on it. I would not recommend going here!
Fun place to hang with friends
July 5, 2021 So beautiful and I enjoyed the lighthouse. I wish I could have gotten a better picture but you know there’s always people around in New York lol.
Thunderstorm was approaching as I took my walk. Then this creepy guy in a black and yellow umbrella came and sat two feet from me. I had to move. So much space and he had to set up his chair right next to me. Lord have mercy!
Seems like he was waiting for the rain so he can bath in it.
Omg watch out for this guy if you ever walking and a storm is coming.
NYC life is real! Watch out be safe. Blessings to all always!
Best place to ball in manhattan
Muy bonito lugar
Biking or walking around this park is great . Stopping from time to time to enjoy the views of the Hudson and New Jersey and downtown manhattan is a must . Great locations for pictures . Much more busy on the weekends when people come to have family time and picnic.

There is a parking garage. I went on a dinner cruise and Chelsea Piers was a great place to take a taxi to and from the pier. A great place for indoor and outdoor recreation. A beautiful clean place to take pictures and enjoy the scenic view of the river.
The court is in incredible good condition and it has lights so you can play at night.
Nice outdoor courts available free to the public in a great neighborhood.
Nice court right on water. Stop for a game on your jog.
Good and quiet basketball court, especially for shooting sessions. For pick-up games you might look elsewhere. Recommended though
I practice here every now and then. Most of the time there are just few people shooting, every now and then there is a game going on.
Great basketball courts, competition. Parking is $20, which sucks and it can be hard to find parking on a busy tournament day.

Basketball City is a huge event venue along the east river in Manhattan. On December 8, 2018 Pandora Music service hosted their annual Holiday Celebration with Post Malone, SZA and Cheat Codes among them.
West 4th is one of the most famous street courts eother in new york or in the WORLD ! If you are looking for a good competition in basketball, come here. Also the basketball tournaments here are amazing and awesome
5 star court ! Beautiful court with amazing backboards and nets
