Awesome shrimp scampi and bread! Lemonade was fresh too! Great place to eat and work if you need wifi! Will be back soon!

After ordering and purchasing my food. I noticed that one of the employees handling the food and drinks. Had a large amount of mucus dipping from his nose. He kept wiping his nose with his hand while also touching cups, food, and other items in the kitchen. This same person also delivered our food to the table. I was really grossed out and asked for a refund. They told me it was too late to get a refund because the food was already cooked. We told this employee that had mucus dripping from his nose and he told he reply I know without doing anything about it. He continues to do business and take orders and handle food as before. I told the manager/supervisor which was coughing and under the weather also, and her response was sorry. The food was cold. The decaf coffee was cold and the half and half creamer container was empty. I will definitely not be dining here again, Nor will I refer this Cafe to anyone else.

We came here for a quick bite to eat for breakfast. The food came out quickly and was hot, the service was great, and the coffee was wonderful. Super friendly staff and a clean restaurant.

I wish we had one in my hometown. Love all the variety of baked goods. It is a great place for soups, salads and light entrees. The yogurt parfat was creamy and big portions. It had plenty of fruit in it as well. The oatmeal was ok but needed more flavor and jazzing up. The bacon, egg and cheese panini was good and fresh but almost burned my bread. Was too crunchy. Overall a good experience.

Had the grains salad here and it was pretty good but nothing special. Good and spacious for the weekend. Good spot for a healthy lunch

First time at a Corner Bakery and I am delighted! Food arrived at our table a little late, but it was fresh and tasteful. Mostly run by ladies and I am happy to support them.

I decided to go to here for breakfast this morning and was somewhat delighted and slightly disappointed. I've ordered this before from another Corner Bakery and received different results. I waited for 5 - 10 minutes for my food and it actually arrived at my table cold. I do not like cold food. Overall, the restaurant was clean and not real busy at the time. I like to come to corner bakery because your food is made to order (at least I thought) and I just didn't get the fact that it came out cold. Try and at least place the potatoes on the grill for a few minutes so the food will be hot for the customer.

The food here is what you would call serviceable--there's not much going on with the flavor, but you won't be disappointed and you won't leave hungry. I haven't tried them, but I suspect the breakfast wraps and sandwiches are better than the other breakfast plates.

Everything i ordered (panini, pasta , tomato soup , caesar salad and chocolate cake ) was excellent and large portions . Fast service and nice atmosphere .

The food has consistently been very good, enjoyable and plentiful. The food is made carefully and is illustrative in the delivery and presence of the dish.

Service is great too. The staff work in a busy downtown so they have to be good, fast and agile - which they all are. Friendly and helpful. No complaints.
It's a busy cafe made for small groups but in sure if your needed to fit a group of 6 or so in, you could. The atmosphere and divina dining area still are very comfortable and relaxing.
Overall, a good recommendation when visiting downtown Houston.

Very friendly staff, clean space, and good food. I could tell they may have been struggling with some staffing issues but they did their best and I still got food/service quickly and efficiently. Would have loved access to a bathroom and maybe some additional menu items and I was not overly impressed by my breakfast sandwich, but I also had no complaints.

Not going to this location again. I'm originally from up North and I love coming to this franchise. I get the same thing every time but this time I ordered the same way I usually do but I got a cold sandwich that I could have just as easily got from Jimmy John's. The sandwich was all bread and so dry. Thank goodness for chocolate pies, blue berry muffins and coffee being so universal that they were the only thing I truly enjoyed from this location. When I asked the staff if my order was made right (which I know it wasn't) they were reluctant to fix it. I sat for a while after they said they would fix it but by the time they got to me I was already eating because I was hungry and didn't feel like waiting anymore. It was an adequate sandwich but not what I wanted.

Nice place for a quick afternoon lunch. It was pretty busy but service was quick and friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Grilled cheese sandwich and lemonade were very good. Very reasonable prices for downtown. I also went back the next morning to try breakfast. I got the All American Scramble. A lot of good food for a great price.

Can we say BACON?? They were not stingy with the bacon for sure. Very hearty colorful sandwich which is appealing to the eye so I was ready to dive in! The iced coffee ingredients/condiments was perfectly made; nice balance. The bread was soggy though and sandwich itself was a bit dry (dry as in minimal balsamic mayo) which made it a bit hard to eat. Overall, it was good! I would definitely give them another go!

Laid back, kid friendly atmosphere. The food is always tasty and very consistent. I love their Pancakes... very light and fluffy! We don't come to the area often but when we do we always try to stop in for a bite.

This place is so delicious they got all kinds of breakfast plates, coffee is the best especially with sweetbread. Oh man and the pancakes with strawberry's I love it, but they got all kinds of flavors. And the bacon and sausage and egg mmmmmm.. I was going crazy in their because they got all the stuff I love to eat for breakfast. And it's a good place for short meetings or to take a friend or family to eat the best at the Corner Baker Cafe!!!!!!
