This is a restaurant on the second floor of Finch Street, open from 11 am until 11 pm. They accept phone reservations. I enjoy coming here at different times, and each experience is unique. When lucky, sitting by the large floor-to-ceiling windows, savoring the food while observing the bustling street, accompanied by pleasant music and friendly staff, makes the day truly delightful. During peak hours, there's a 2-hour dining time limit, which I completely understand. Let's all be kind, as this is genuinely a wonderful place.

Good breakfast cafe restaurant with decent sized portions at reasonable prices. They have limited indoor seating, and mostly small tables. Food tastes good. They could use an extra server, as the one to two they have are always running around serving customers, and can't seem to take a break. There is free underground parking at the adjacent arts center.
For the second time in a row, weeks in between, I ask for a cappuccino and they hand me a latte. I specifically asked for less milk this time (because of my previous experience here) because I'm lactose intolerant. Then the "barista" has the gall to tell me that the reason there is so much milk in there is that "this is physics you see". She also claimed that it's the machine that pours the milk which is clearly not the case. I asked me for my money back and she said I have to go to customer service which, as usual, was deserted. It's a good place to sit and hang out if you can tolerate the stale croissants and terrible service. The "barista" also claimed that the person actually making the coffee "was new" ...
Place is awesome for enjoying a conversation with friends. Or catching up. The noise in the cafeteria was okay :).

Their menu is really good and lots of choices. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Croissant and Soufflé Pancakes with Green Tea. Also had the Iced Yuzu Berry Matcha Latte and Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte.

Iced matcha lattes drinks were good and refreshing. They paired well with our food.

Thank you for taking care of us. We'd love to try more of the drinks and food. And desserts too! 😊

Amazing food and wonderful experience. I ordered the Beef Saikoro Sirloin Pasta, and it was a true culinary masterpiece. The perfectly cooked sirloin beef, combined with the rich pasta, created a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. It's a must-try for any meat lover.

The Tiramisu Espresso was pure bliss. Cute presentation. Offered a delightful contrast b/t the espresso’s invigorating caffeine kick and the dessert’s creamy.

The service was exceptional, and the ambiance was welcoming and cozy. Highly recommended.

I had the croffle and an einspanner, the croffle was delicious however the coffee was bland or felt watered down (similar to that of tim hortons brew coffee) and did not mix well with the cream in the einspanner. The service was great however it was fully packed even past 2pm and I had to sit at the bar facing the window that did not have any blinds. I was dying from the blazing sun and left shortly after, thus don’t recommend this cafe for work/study.

Really lovely cafe! I love the vibes (such cute interior) and the staff are lovely. Super yummy looking baked goods and pastries, and a nice drink selection. Also saw so many people having croissant sandwiches and they looked so yum

Overall: 5/5

I went on a date here and the coffee was real good! My Daye got a caramel coffee drink and she loved it too. The cookies all looked delicious too. 😋 only thing strange was the Christmas decorations on a tree in front in September?

Lovely café atmosphere, with a beautiful lantern display.
Matcha soft serve was nice. I liked having the choice to include add-ons; added brown sugar syrup to my cone. Nice, but not necessary.

Curious to try their sandwiches and other ice cream/beverages.

This place smells really bad. Also I ordered 2 lattes and asked for it not to be so milky. In the end they charged me $1.5 extra for each latte because they said they have to add one extra espresso shot to each one!!! This is the first time I’ve been charged extra just for wanting a proper latte!!! Ridiculous!!

I came here on a Friday night after dinner as we were feeling for dessert - the place was buzzing with people coming in and out. To our surprise, they weren't offering their usual matcha ice cream and instead, had a new Jasmine White Peach Ice Cream. As a result, we ordered the Shiratama and a slush, both in this flavor.

I enjoy how light and subtle white peach is, which makes it super refreshing. We opted for the Shiratama compared to the other parfaits/plain ice cream because we love their sticky rice balls which are fun and chewy. It also comes with red beans which I personally am never a big fan of, but the kind they use is acceptable for me. The slush itself was also light and refreshing. It was not too icy to the point where you'd be left with just plain ice at the end, which I appreciate. Inside, there's also little bits of fruit which are fun to taste. Both desserts were nice.

Side note: when we asked them when matcha would return, the employee said they didn't know. Just a FYI if you're headed there for it!
Small lil Cafe that serves delicious food, beautiful drinks, and lots of dessert. I ordered the pulled pork croissant combo, which includes coffee but I don't drink coffee. You order online but if you're not a coffee drinker there's no option to cancel it. I was having trouble ordering as it wouldn't go through so I had to tell the waiter. Wifi also didn't work for me, but my friend was able to get it, but she said it's only 2 bars and really slow. Food was delicious and filling, service was good, they always came around filling our water. Price is not too bad but its on the higher-end, it's a small space so I feel seats are limited since a lot of people come here.
This place doesn't look great from the outside but once you go in, it is a awesome. The decor is nice, the food is absolutely amazing, and the prices are very reasonable!

I was pleasantly surprised and I now want to try more of their dishes. It opens at 11 AM but it was almost full by 11:30

Adorable neighbourhood cafe.
My fav go to drink is the Dalgona Latte (hot or cold) The baked treats like croissants 🥐 are delicious as well. It’s a cute and quiet cafe you can set up and work in as well.
Parking is not great because if the location so it’s hard to find parking. Service and food are great with lots of Korean inspired drinks and baked goods. They also offer milk alternatives and have a changing menu of treats and drinks as they seasons change.

Dark and depressing. I went in expecting a good cup of coffee, and they couldn't even provide that. 'House Blend' was all they had, and it amounted to a cup of weak diner coffee, not something that a coffee specialty location should ever serve. What has sucked the life out this establishment, that comes across as more an employment agency feel? People. People make the difference. Their staff were as dull as the product, day dreaming off into their phones while on the job. I'll avoid this at all costs moving forward, and recommend others do so as well.

This matcha parfait did surprise me with its strong matcha flavour. I expected it to be sweet, creamy but didn't know it could taste so much like the ones I had in Japan! Of course the matcha flavour wasn't as delicate as in Japan, but there was indeed some aftertaste for the matcha. Combining with red bean and 白玉 this is the perfect matcha parfait to end a day.

A good cafe to grab a quick bite or to sit and linger with a friend. It can get crowded so plan accordingly. I liked that all the ingredients are listed, along with the caloric measurements. Helps people who are keeping a close watch on their diet in choosing an item from the menu.

Adorable little Korean Cafe off of Yonge St.
Large selection of hot and cold drinks as well as desserts like like bingsu cups and macarons. They have these cute Flower 🌸 Macarons in many flavours and so yummy.
We had the Blue Ocean Iced Latte and and Iced Americano and they were perfectly made. 👌🏽
Wonderful spot for brunch, coffees, and desserts. We had the Fried Chicken (Karaage) and Croffles (croissant waffles) which was delicious. We also tried the iced matcha latte and black sesame latte and really enjoyed them. The Matcha and Red Bean Souffle pancakes were adorable and everything here is plated and displayed so well. Very aesthetically appealing food and environment.

It's on the second floor so not very accessible but has a great view of the Yonge and Finch intersection.

I'll definitely be back because as other reviews say, this would be a great date spot for meeting friends!

quality has really declined post-covid. presentation of my food was terrible.. piece of bacon and scram eggs kinda just unceremoniously placed on my plate . my friend ordered a croissant sandwich. croissant was not crisp/flaky. way overpriced for small portions as well. sorry. .
You can have a lot of organic things there give it a shot you won’t regret it plus you can have a lot of different ice cream very quiet environment if you want to have a coffee with your family or friends

I had a great chicken salad sandwich here! Everything tasted really fresh even though I was one of the last customers of the day. It even came with tomato, cucumber and lettuce as topping. The owners were friendly too!
It's truly perplexing to observe the trajectory of this establishment. My initial encounter left me with a favorable impression—harmonious ambiance, attentive service, and delectable cuisine seamlessly combined to create a positive experience. Yet, it's regrettable to note that subsequent visits have borne witness to an unexpected decline in food quality, leading to disappointing outcomes.

The proprietor, a genuinely affable individual, consistently demonstrates a vested interest in guest satisfaction, frequently engaging with patrons to glean their experiences. Given his evident commitment to the restaurant's reputation, I am compelled to share a candid suggestion: an urgent focus on rectifying the waning food quality is imperative to prevent the erosion of patronage in favor of neighboring competition.

In particular, an instance involving the eg Florentine dish stands out as emblematic of the regression. The presentation was marred by an unpleasant taste, while the English muffins arrived in a lamentably soggy and aged state. The accompanying potatoes further exacerbated the matter, characterized by an arid texture indicative of their staleness.

While I express my desire that this commentary reaches the establishment's attention, I'm equally hopeful that they seize the opportunity to recalibrate their culinary offerings. A revitalized commitment to food quality would undoubtedly alter the narrative, potentially prompting a return visit that could elicit a more positive appraisal. Until such an evolution takes place, however, it's regrettable to admit that I find it challenging to envision a circumstance that would prompt my return.
This place is a 10+. Biked over this morning and sat on their peaceful patio lined with colourful flowers. The service is outstanding - owners are welcoming and personable and clearly love what they do.
The food was perfection and you will not find a similar menu anywhere! We had the chorizo eggs Benny - so unique and delicious! We paired with a sweet dish- banana bread French toast. Yes it’s as delectable as it sounds! Covered in fresh bananas, blueberries and strawberries. If you have not been here yet, do yourself a favour and go on a Saturday or Sunday morning!

The matcha was super high quality and you could really taste the authenticity! I forget what these little balls were called but they were awesome! They kind of just melt on your tongue when you bit them but they gave the ice cream some texture which was cool! Would 100% come back

Tucked away in a small side street, this cafe offers some great tasting bingsu that i found to taste better than some of the more well known and busier places in North York. Great place to just hang out and chill at in the area.

What a service! The best brunch place in Willowdale neighborhood. Our server was so kind and nice. I haven't had this level of service for a long time! Good elbow room at the patio area and fresh food. Only thing is my egg Benny was served little weird like one egg fall onto somewhere and sauce was not covered as you see at the last photo. But overall, I will definitely come back!

As a person who recently went on a vacation in Japan, I can say their matcha is authentic and of similar taste. It's not too sweet, just the right amount with that bold matcha flavour.
Highly recommend the Matcha Latte Float.

Just located at the corner of Yonge St and Spring Gardner Ave, it's almost perfect for couples, students, and small families to visit! I loved the matcha ice cream here, and my partner loved the matcha with espresso shot here. Their matcha is very unique and higher quality compared to other places that serve matcha desserts. That's because it's organic premium matcha that's imported directly from Japan! There's a variety of matcha drinks and desserts to choose from, plus more locations will be opening soon in Toronto. We visited on a weekday evening, so it wasn't too busy, and the lineup was small.

In conclusion, food is great, the place is great, and watching the staff hard at work making the drinks and desserts, is great! If you're a matcha fanatic, then Diagyo cafe is the place for you.

Came here for brunch with some of my girls and this was my first time at Cafe N One. Their entrance is located on the side of the building, but luckily they had some big signs pointing to their entrance that would lead to their restaurant located on the 2nd floor.

I was quickly seated and directed to order by scanning their QR code whenever I was ready. Since their ordering was through QR, there was nothing special to say about their service.

I ordered the Chicken and Croffles which came with spicy mayo and syrup as the sauces and it smelled absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside, yet still hot and juicy on the inside. It's hard to get such a good fried chicken without making it dry like dirt. Everything was super cute and aesthetic for photos; the taste of the food didn't disappoint either.

Definitely going to be coming back here again to try their other menu options.

The matcha anmitsu is served in a tiny cup and the quantity they serve you is LESS than 200 ml of ice cream (I measured 200 ml of water, poured it in the cup and checked), no more than that. As you can see, the cornflakes fill up the bottom with air, and there are large chunks of jelly that are inside it. Those plain tasting jellies are large cubes take up most of the space in the container. It is decorated to look really cute, and the flavour of the matcha is good, but otherwise it is NOT worth the $11 they charge you for it. After eating the jellies, mochi, red beans, and strawberry, I was left with about 100 ml of ice cream. Whar a rip off! I do NOT recommend this place as the prices are sky high for a very small portion of dessert. I just went through other reviews and noticed THEY HAVE CUT BACK THE SUNDAE/ PARAFAIT/ ANMITSU CUP SIZE BY HALF AND INCREASED THEIR PRICES DRASTICALLY! Go to Tsujiri downtown for the same good quality matcha ice cream with much more quantity.

Came here for breakfast and ordered the dulce de leche pancakes and a side of bacon. The bacon was nice and crispy and the pancakes were fluffy.

They offer a few different varieties of coffee and free refills, and let you order a refill of any variety (although the coffee cups are nice and big so I didn’t actually need a refill).

The service was quick and friendly and the interior was very clean. I’ll definitely come back to try the Mexican breakfast or their lunch specials!
Lovely brunch on Canada Day, so happy they were open. The bagel n lox was delicious and iced chai latte refreshing. The churro donuts are amazing! Definitely had to eat them there since they were warm and the dulce de leche sauce was perfect!

Cute and cozy cafe with friendly staff and creative menu. I had one of their signature“croffle” and I liked it is. They creatively make a waffle using puff pastry dough! So tastes like croissants but less airy. Mine was cream berries option an I liked the taste of it’s cream and mixed berry jam topping, not too sweet. My drink was london fog and loved it.
Cozy cafe with tables inside as well as outside. We liked the food and pastry we had there. Had a chat with the manager who was warm and welcoming. Lovely staff. Food was ready so fast. Everything was good! Recommended!

This is, by far, the best Matcha cafe I’ve been too! One of the best Matcha lattes I’ve had as well.
I’ll admit that I tried a lot of their drinks. I’ve had their Genmaicha Latte, Black Sesame Matcha, Red Bean Matcha. All three with Oatmilk and iced. My go-to is the Iced O-Matcha Latte with Oatmilk. I can have two of these 😅 You can taste the matcha with this drink but it doesn’t taste grassy or bitter at all and the sweetness level is perfect! It’s very satisfying.
If I want something a little sweeter, I get the iced Kinako Kuromitsu Matcha Latte (with Oatmilk).

I also tried their Matcha Milkshake. The milkshake tastes very milky and sweet but not too much. I think it’s perfect on a hot day but if you want something more refreshing, get their iced White Peach Jasmine. I will definitely come back for their other drinks!

I got the organic o matcha lattes with soy milk substitute. I personally thought it was okay. I guess I had high expectations on the matcha flavour. Perhaps the soy milk overpowered it. My friend got it with regular milk and really enjoyed it! I would be curious to try the other items offered.

At the north east corner of North York and Yonge, Saryo is paired with the sister ramen restaurant with one store front.

They offer a wide selection of matcha desserts, drinks and cake on the menu. We decided to try the Anitmu soft serve. It comes with red beans in syrup sauce, coconut jelly, rice balls and some strawberries as well.

This is the strong matcha type and my family loves that. The rice balls are chewy and that texture is great! Jelly was just ok but I wished they are half sized so they mix better with the melted ice cream. Overall, it is a good dessert.

Everytime I visit (leaside) I felt the greyhair lady looked not in the good mood and rude. And lately I ordered latte and sitting beside the pick up counter waiting for my latte. I thought it took so longer than usual and I found out the latte was been for long time at the counter.
She just put the latte at the counter. I wasn’t feel that pleasant and had terrible latte that she served. I checked the beverage because of the weird taste and I found out the milk was lumpy and sour. I’ll never return.
Its bad. The chicken sandwich is the worst ai ever had.
Although it is very busy but still have a good control on their quality. I like this place for a midday getaway. Coffee is always good here. I love the breakfast!

One of my favorite Korean café for k-style macaroons (~3$/ea)

We tried Matcha and Pistachio, both tasted good with very little crumbs after biting and mildly sweet filing. Not to mention the cute shape!

The drinks (caramel macchiato) were just ok. We came during the weekend and this place was fully packed. Took a while to have everything ready and even get a seat. Not all drink items and bingsu are available tho :( I was looking forward to try their sweet potato latte.

Cute little spot in the station, much better than the convenience store-type ones. You can get coffee, sweets, and some savoury foods like wraps and patties. Cute coffee spot on a side street just north of Sheppard-Yonge. Delicious lattes (Einspänner is my fave), potato cake and Korean style macarons - and great coffee you can buy to make at home.
My mother and I ate here before we went to the library, and it was so delicious. We both ordered turkey sandwiches, and it tasted so fresh, while having a very reasonable/inexpensive price. The kind man and woman who works there are incredibly nice and even gave us 4 chocolates. This is truly one of the best cafes in Toronto!!

They have a wide range of pastries, ice creams, and drinks. The cream puffs were a bit stale but the matcha ice cream and matcha tiramisu was good. This cafe is located inside Konjiki and if you show your receipt from Konjiki ramen you can get 15% off your desserts. I also liked how you are able to order the desserts and eat it at the ramen shop.

Authentic Japanese desserts!

We ordered the Hojicha latte and Honicha Anmitu bowl. Quite frankly, they taste better together. The latte was a bit too sweet so we had one bite of the anmitu and then a sip of the latte, that’s really how you should enjoy it. Balance the sweetness of the latte and the bitter tea taste of the icecream- best of both worlds. They serve floats here so perhaps this would a better choice if you don’t like sweet lattes.

Another recommendation is to get there original cream puffs. It reminds me of the HK pineapple buns but with creamy filling inside. Absolute divine.

Pros: they take credit here

Cons: not much space to really sit down and enjoy your desserts/drinks. Much of the space is occupied by the ramen restaurant.

Quality matcha powder from Japan. Came-in for a matcha latte with matcha ice cream on top. SUPER DELICIOUS but not too sweet which is perfect! Very friendly staff, but instead of one cup (as listed on the menu) I got two cups (liquid matcha in one) and ice cream with ice underneath in a separate cup. Wish I had a pic to show, that was interesting. Next time would prefer my item to be served in one piece :)

Been here many times and let me tell you - MATCHA LOVERS -- MUST TRY when in the area!! Every time I come here, the service is great! Patient, friendly, and quick to prepare the orders.

Average wait time was probably 2 minutes. Prices are fair for such unique place right on the corner of Yonge & Sheppard.

The average bill for 2 I usually leave is $14-20 (2 drinks OR two desserts). Love their regular matcha lattes, ice cream, and cakes. See the photo - cake is worth the $7, so tender and fresh!

That said, a few times we came here and got a little less of ice cream serving than other times. Would recommend to sticking to a specific portion size when serving customers.

Delicious desserts paired perfectly with well brewed coffee and Turkish tea! I felt so welcomed by the lady, who I think is the owner. She was very kind with her recommendations. The custard was creamy and airy. Would come here again!

Ordered pastry and turkish coffee. Pastry was fresh, warm, served on a plate with utensils. Turkish coffee was also fresh and on point. It is evident the owner-operator spends great time and effort in running this independently owned small business. Perfect place to spend time and support. Edit: the rosewater with coffee is a nice touch.

Cute little warm space offering yummy, fresh treats! I enjoyed their mini tea yesterday after work very randomly and it felt so refreshing! The scones were freshly baked and soothingly warm! The lady there also made me try their Turkish tea which was good on the stomach!
I do know this space ever since they started during the pandemic and I remember speaking to the couple who runs it, they're such lovely people! If you live nearby please do support this little neighborhood business!

This place used to be good but since the new manager gutted the staff and got rid of every single good barista and their supervisor this place cant be relied upon to make a cup of coffee and most times youll be lucky to get a cup of dirty water. #amazonfail #amazonsucks #badmanager
Lovely and sweet staff... but bought $94 dollars worth of items for a 7 person kids birthday party, and nearly 90 percent got thrown. People literally took a bite and then got that really awkward look on their faces. Dry, inedible, terrible stuff, all fake ingredients, sugar and preservatives in everything and not much else. For such a big station this is such a sad waste. Only stop by in a pinch because you will feel lasting regret at the waste if you spend more than a couple of dollars here

Perfect cafe is the absolute best. I always come to this Cafe 4 times a week and the service is just exceptional. Aysegul and her husband are just so friendly. The food is amazing and I love their strawberry banana protein almond milk smoothie. The place is always well lit, clean and the ambience is quite festive with various forms of art. If you want good food, a place to relax in between/after work or just a quick coffee you should definitely come to Perfect cafe #Turkishorigins #
Great selection and healthy options! Pumpkin soup was great and very filling, served hot. I’d always come to this restaurant on work breaks for lunch and it always checked all the boxes. Only giving 4 stars because it’s slightly overpriced, but considering the amount of seating and nice decor it’s almost justified.

Love their mocha! It was hard for me to find good coffee but allegro is my to go too for coffee, mochas and smoothies.
I can only in all fairness give this place a single star. The kitchen is closed now because, as the sole person working there told me, it's broken. So now they just provide pre-made stuff from the owners in Port Hope. Wraps, a couple of quiches, some dessert items.

As a garden cafe in the middle of beautiful gardens that grow their own produce, this a huge disappointment and frankly a waste of space and potential.

Recommendation: make your own sandwiches and enjoy the gardens at your leisure.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cafe. Thought they'd have cheap drip coffee and little muffins wrapped in plastic wrap but they actually had a nice selection. I got an iced Americano. It was good. Strong. They also had a lot of baked goods and sandwiches. They had homemade veggie chips which were expensive ($10).
A nice atmosphere to take a break from the sun and get back to exploring the garden!
Burger was ok. Service was extremely slow and disorganized. They need a better menu and people that can cook and turn the tables faster. WIth the proper staff and a better menu, They could make a lot more money. Very expensive.

The coffee simply is not up to scratch, and is definitely not like the Italian coffee that I have tried back in Rome.

One of the best Cafes in North York. Excellent custumer service! Definitely would recommend.
Wonderful service, sweet atmosphere. Coffee is decent. Horrific food. So stale and flavourless. Even the salt in the packet is lumped together. Do not eat here.

Good coffee and lots of food options! Also, quite the tranquil place to study or read.
