This is a lovely place for coffee, the staff are always so lovely and its quite a peaceful break from the busy main street.

(Also love large coffee size)!
Very aesthetic atmosphere, ice latte was yum, almond croissant was one of a kind, just amazing

Amazing food and good coffee, including coffee art. Tunes are great. Recommend.
This is a quality Italian restaurant with bar facilities too. The food was quality and we have the pizza which had a crispy base with excellent balance of toppings on the "The Lot" pizza minus the anchovies. The lemon tart for dessert was also a delight. It was a bit of a long wait to receive the pizza but was was worth it with the quality received.

Took Andrew's suggestion to try a hotdog with the lot. That proved to be legendary advice. It could very well be the greatest hotdog ever to be served in the fine city of Adelaide.

Great place for a drink or to watch a show..very friendly staff but chairs in show area are not comfortable and to hard to sit on for hours watching and hard to get car park.uneven ground around outside so not good for people with disabilities..
Scaloppine al limone taste yuck. Bitter and sour . Poor service. We raise up hand for some tomatoe sauce. Nobody seen us.

5 stars for the coffee experience today; coffee was so delicious it was gone before I knew it!
Has been about 5 years since I last visited this venue, mostly because I find it hazardous to ride in the city. For anyone walking through Leigh Street though, this is a worthwhile caffeine fix.
Great high-quality food. There are a variety of options, and they help you customise the dishes and swap certain ingredients. Items generally lean on the more expensive side, but it can be worth it because of the overall good quality. The place is often quite busy, though there is plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting available.

Really friendly owners and lovely service. This was a great spot to stop for an informal breakfast meeting on my way to the office.
I just popped in for a coffee and a slice of cake. It's nice and spacious with a good distance between the tables. It's a large room and not too noisy. It's in a nice location with plenty of glass that allows you to admire this lovely area of the city. It appears to be licensed I'm not sure what food is available I saw cake and everything else went blank. Coffee and cake was $12 certainly not unreasonable in the city centre. I liked it.

Fantastic coffee in a funky space with Great Wall art and ‘hipster’ vibe. There is a small selection of food and a large selection of coffee. The friendly barista is a true artist, not only with this coffee making (I had an oat milk latte which was perfect) but his froth art. The coffee is on the expensive side, but worth it for those who love their brew. A stand out.

Went for a gig. The bands were good, played into a good sounding room well engineered by Matt. Good atmosphere well assisted by good libations served by hospitable staff.
Check it out to your taste.
Sadly was not impressed with the flavour of my chicken ceaser salad. While it looked lovely the smellwas off-putting as was the taste and i have had this type of salad at so many places and its the first one i havent even been able to finish .

Nice event venue, great (very specific) vibe. Apparently you can't hear the speakers very well from the stage though, doesn't really matter if you're just watching :)

The chicken baguette is the best. But you need to be early to get it! This is the bakery for the Dough stall in the central market, so their baked goods are just as excellent. The Bircher muesli and cooked breakfasts are also delicious - nothing fancy, but good quality ingredients cooked well.

I’m not being dramatic when I say my life changed today. Now anything else I eat will be disappointing. The food here blew our minds and gave us the endorphin rush of our lives. The first green flag was when the waitress reserved a table for us last minute even though they were super busy. We got the Turkish eggs and the French toast and it did not disappoint. 1000000/10 would recommend.

I walked past here the other night, and Google wants a review.

Well, it had lights, the building looked in good condition. There were humans inside all grasling small cylinders, which they occasionally touched to their lower face holes.

In all, it was a bit surreal 6/5.

The Jade is a quaint little theatre Cafe Bar where they often have small gettogethers, fringe shows and is available for hire, we were there for a Tenby9 Talk session, very good, it's on again every month.
I really enjoyed my experience here - it’s definitely a meeting place . The atmosphere is quite lively , and it’s situated down a small laneway right near the Central Market .
There is indoor and outdoor seating , and they also sell some condiments and specialised food items , as well as a selection of cookbooks, and some hot chocolate powder from Morks, which is a specialised well known chocolate shop in Melbourne .
Market street cafe also have their own little bakery , which means fresh in house bread .
Their coffee of choice was D’Angelo , which is a local coffee roaster , with a deep chocolaty taste. I had an iced almond latte and enjoyed this brew .
Gluten free options are not particularly wide , but I did have a Reuben sandwich with a twist , ( with kimchi and gochujang mayo ) and was pleasantly surprised by the gluten free bread , which was thick and seeded - delicious.
Worth a visit, especially if you visit the Central Market.
Enjoyed a simple yet satisfying bacon and eggs breakfast with mushrooms and a side of three crispy hash browns. The eggs were fried to perfection with runny yolks and crispy edges, complementing the generous servings of bacon and mushrooms. Despite the bustling ambiance, the food arrived promptly, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
I recently visited Bocelli Caffe and tried their salt and pepper chicken with wedges. The dish was flavorful and satisfying. The coffee shake and coffee were delightful, offering a nice balance. I appreciated the unique concept of placing your order, take a menu on the entry, pick your table, and placing orders at the counter. It adds a casual and interactive element to the dining experience. Overall, a pleasant visit with tasty food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Good coffee (maybe a bit too milky on the flat white). And nice food. Buzzy ambience and nicely away from the traffic. I nearly knocked a star off as they forgot our food - which is a serious no no. When it was eventually sorted out they refunded the coffees. And they are friendly.

We eat here almost weekly and absolutely love this place. The food, the vibes and the coffee!

Fantastic brekkie and lunch options, consistent quality food and excellent coffee.

Great quality GF bread... a must for brunch and this place has great bread. If you are an almond milk snob... be warned no almond milk on the menu but oat milk is just as good, if not better.

Lovely spot in the heart of Adelaide CBD. The coffee is great. The staff are very friendly and professional. The service was quick and efficient. Both breakfast choices were very tasty. The post egg was cooked to perfection, and the breaking burger was delicious and very balanced in terms of sweetness, richness and savoury. If you're looking after a decent breakfast or brunch, here is the place. Well done to the staff for the nice job.
Came back here for 2 days straight because the chicken pistachio sandwich is damn good! - @foodjournal_byjess

I chose to visit this coffee shop due to its reputation for outstanding local coffee.

The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness, the establishment maintained a commendable level of cleanliness, and the atmosphere of the cafe was pleasant.

I ordered takeaway for amond croissant, extra shots in a large cappuccino and also a regular long black, which presented a delightful balance of acidity and flavor.

However, the cappuccino experience took an unexpected turn the milk was too bubble, seemed to clash with the coffee, and the absence of chocolate powder left it reminiscent of a peculiar long macchiato.

Nevertheless, the overall ambiance and service added a positive touch to the overall experience.

Beautiful morning atmosphere when the sun is shining, both inside and outside on the ‘on street’ dining area. In my opinion, amongst one of the best coffee spots in the CBD. Never falls short. Compared to other coffees, perhaps Market St Cafe is on the pricier side, but unlike some other overpriced coffee places, it’s actually good. One of my frequents, working towards having the staff call me by name.

What a disgraceful breakfast, couldn't cut through the bread, or even eat it, was either stale or gluten free which I did not ask for. Paid extra for grilled tomato, which definitely was not grilled, not a single grill or pan mark on it yet it was somehow soggy as hell which tells me it was microwaved. Was given a small butter which was obviously also put in the microwave to make it softer but for far too long as upon opening it i got melted butter all over me. Not a single apology from the staff or care despite the fact they could see i was clearly unimpressed with my meal. I work in hospitality, I would be ashamed if i provided this kind of service or food to my costumers.

Came here two days in a row as not many options around.

Great service + lovely outdoor and indoor sitting areas. Delicious coffee.

Wanted to eat something healthy but the menu doesn’t offer much choices with more greens.

The fritters during my second visits were very salty and doesn’t taste freshly made.

Finding great breakfast places with great coffee can be hard when you arrive in a city you’re not familiar with. Luckily I stumbled on this place. Service was amazing. My waitress was so helpful. Food also was great. Had poached eggs with greens and avocado. You can tell a lot about a place when you get their poached eggs, they were perfect 😍 Would recommend

Came back for a second visit and again was amazing.

Best spot on Waymouth Street for brunch and lunch 😍
Just wanted a quick coffee ☕️ on the way to catching a train .
The cafe looked very inviting lots of greenery which always helps . Seemed to be quite popular with the local business crowd - saw several people having meetings . It is bright and airy with a lot of room .
Service was quick and friendly- there were several people on the registers , and the coffee are out promptly and milk was done well .
Coffee was also good - it was by local coffee roasters Uptown , and it was one of my favorite types “ “ heavy bodied and smooth with chocolate and caramel notes “ .
Also got a baked cheesecake with raspberries and white chocolate, which was light and fluffy and bursting with flavour- with a soufflé like texture .
This cafe also had a lot of gluten-free options so looking forward wrong back and trying some .

First time there. Staff were very helpful, friendly. Food was great plenty of it. The view over Torrens was nice. I just think they need more tables in the sun with the good weather coming.

I go into the city twice a week, and Luxxe is firmly the first place I go to when I get there.

I am greeted with a smile, people that memorized my name and great tasting coffee.

There's literally nothing more to be done. It really sets my day up for success. Thank you.

Traveller tip: they have a happy hour between 10-11am so if you want a more affordable coffee then that's a great time to go 😉

Lovely little coffee place nestled at the Currie Street end of Leigh Street.
It’s a narrow bit cosy space , with a fantastic wall mural down the end .
Caffeine was done well - the coffee was Vice Coffee and it was their own roasted blend . The drink was smooth and very drinkable .
I also ordered a breakfast bun on gluten free bread, which I enjoyed as a late breakfast.
What I really loved about this place was the service , the lovely person making my food took great pains to check if everything on my breakfast sandwich was gluten free, and made substitutes when they weren’t - I was absolutely blown away with the care that was taken !
Definitely recommend this place - would have given more than five stars for service if I could !
As an aside - was very impressed by the mural on the outside wall , tucked in with some outside seating. Great place to come sit and relax .
If you're in search of a tranquil oasis where you can savor excellent coffee and unwind, look no further than Coffee Branch nested in the heart of the city, this cozy café offers a delightful blend of aromatic brews, soothing ambiance, and attentive service
The best cappuccino I have had in Adelaide so flavorful and delicious and you get to have a little cookie with every drink which complement the coffee taste ❤️
People there are very nice and friendly.

We had a wonderful early morning breakfast after seeing people off on the bus. We had a Big Breakfast which was generous serving and well cooked. The coffee was excellent and the lady was kind and friendly. It was lovely watching the city wake up.
$5.30 for a small takeaway coffee that i had to wait 10 minutes for and tasted pretty average and then to be asked to stand near a table outside to pick up the takeaway coffee was weird and when the waitress then started calling my name at the front of the cafe i mean what the hell. I think you could probably do better.
We really enjoyed brunch here. Service was good.
Food quality was excellent.

We had a great brunch.
Food came out quickly.

Seems like a horrible place to work for. They constantly have new staff who don't know what they are doing, and their long standing staff seem to leave after a certain amount of time. Have seem the owners verbally abuse staff before in the middle of the cafe. They also like to sit back and watch while the baristas run around trying to all the jobs. Have had the male owner make my coffee before and it always taste either burnt or extremely hot. They all seem miserable and over tired. 0/10.

Great little cafe off Leigh street.
Small menu but they do the classics like Breakfast buns and smashed avo, and they do them well.
Coffee is excellent, and quick service too.
Atmosphere is quiet nice, open but cosy with lots of indoor plants.

Great little coffee/ breakfast shop right next to the Hilton Adelaide. Also, they open very early, so perfect spot for travelers that may be waking up early due to the time change! Prices are great, food and coffee is even better. I had a ham, egg, and cheese roll they even added a fried egg upon my request. Nice hefty breakfast for a long day of sight seeing. They also have smaller portions and pastries as well! Cappuccino was also delicious and the staff were warm and friendly. I'll probably eat here for breakfast every single day during my trip!

This is absolutely my favourite coffee place in Adelaide. Linda can make the most beautiful coffee and croissant for you if you wish. I have lived in a nearby place for more than 8 years and I used to come to this place at least twice a week to enjoy my "only coffee" in the morning. I relocated to another city three years ago and just came back to Adelaide for a visit last weekend, the first thing I did was to visit this cafe and have a coffee and croissant once again. It just brought me back to my university time immediately, and I would never forget the taste of coffee here no matter where I would be. Thanks Linda and your coffee, and I look forward to meeting you and your husband again very soon.
This cafe is located at the perfect place , just at the light square.
I work nearby and I can't ask for a better coffee around the corner, they have got delicious muffins.
The staff is really good to communicate.
Must try for your breakfast.
Not a great soy flat white - milk overheated. Partner said his Oat flat white was drinkable but not great. We didn't try the food.

I've been here a few times in the new year and its a cute little cafe with good coffee and food. However everytime I sit in the dining room the music being played is too loud and is always some type of edm or club music. It puts a weird atmosphere in the air and I wish something more calming can be played so I can unwind while drinking my coffee 😐
If this place didn't inflate its reviews with obviously fake ones I'd give a higher score. Almost every 5 star review is from a new account with minimal reviews.
Coffee is quite good, higher price than most but its fine, service is good as well, but all or most food is precooked and microwaved it seems. Also they are highly aggressive to criticism on Google reviews. After negative reviews they seem to bang out a bunch of these. I'd you focused on improving things that the customers tell you I think you'd do much better. It's a shame. If I was to rate them just on service and coffee it would be 5 stars. Maybe 3 stars if evaluating the food as well. 1 star is for the fake reviews and aggressive responses.

Great coffee. Plenty of seating indoors and some outside. Also has a nice fresh selection of pastries too which is great. Located just a few steps off Gouger Street, it’s a great spot to stop by if you’re looking for a coffee.
Pleasant place to have breakfast. Great coffee and friendly stuff 🙌🏻
Just ordered the noodle bowl and it was terrible. Hard noodles like they were very old. Very hard meat and small serving. No taste. When i told the guy who served it, he said they normally serve it cold which i knew. It is supposed to be cold but not hard like it’s frozen. He offered to heat it up but heating it up will ruin the salad. Don’t waste your money here.

Edit:
Paying customers should be served fresh food. Instead of telling me to cook at home for better taste, why don’t you check the food you are selling and maybe check your competitors to see how they run their business and MAYBE you could learn from them.

Thank you for making me realize, i need to also write a review for the wonderful businesses here in Adelaide.
How this place has 4.8 stars I don’t know… maybe they have different staff for the weekend…? Food was terrible and coffee wasn’t any better. The bread of a bahn mi of a friend of mine was so hard, sauce was needed to soften it up. The noodles in the bun bowl I had were clumped together, and the sauce had black flecks in it. Not much in the way of salad for both dishes. Both coffees were watery, and certainly not worth the $6.40 each I paid for them.

EDIT: Owner below says coffee is only $6.40 if you ask for extras. I got overcharged then. Owner assumes I'm not from Adelaide, but I am (not sure why this is relevant...?). Also don't know why they think I rate places poorly - I've only ever left 4 google reviews in my life, 3 of them bad, and only because those places were exceptionally poor. Somehow I doubt their claim that they pay more for staff on weekends... one of the staff that was there when I was there was a child that could not have been more than 12. Whilst they were nice and polite, I doubt their experience and expertise making coffee.
Went here on a Friday at 10am. Firstly, there was just one young guy working there. Quite ridiculously, he was responsible for taking orders, making coffee and cooking and preparing food. We were a party of two, and the only other people there were a party of 4. We waited close to 30 minutes for a basic breakfast and coffee. No idea how this place could serve customers while busy with just one person.

Anyway, we originally wanted to order a Bahn Mi, but to our amazement, we were told they were out of ingredients for it. Literally the main thing on their menu.

We also wanted to order a strawberry smoothie. They have just two smoothies on the menu. To put amazement again, they were out of strawberries. The only option was an avocado smoothie. To our amazement once more, the avocado smoothie was literally just blended avocado with milk. There was nothing added to make it taste like anything, other than avocado and milk.

The breakfast was ok, but very bland.

I then ordered a piccolo, but got a flat white instead.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. Whoever manages this place is either utterly indifferent or incompetent.

The reviews and early open drove me here and it did not disappoint!

Lovely people, lovely coffee.
Fantastic location, and the food and coffee was top notch too! The egg and bacon brioche was delicious, so much flavour and cooked to perfection while the coffee was just right the temperature and nailed it. Grab yourself a seat out overlooking the torrens and enjoy, you wont be disappointed.

Lovely place for breakfast. Food is delicious and coffee is nice. Scrambled tofu and the flavour combination are amazing. Staffs are super friendly and service is quick.
My lovely nail lady Cherry from LK Nail Salon on Wright Street husband has opened this little café on Waymouth Street recently. I said I would try it and today I did. The picolo was lovely (you can’t go wrong with Vittorio mind you) and the place is cute. The croissants look lovely and huge. I’m going to take my daughter, as she loves them.

Please support this place, the owners are so lovely and will treat you like a queen/king.
Terrible service honestly, some of the staff are very disrespectful. They choose and select when the attend to you and you could be waiting a while before you're attended to.

We arrived at the restaurant around 3pm looking to purchase something for lunch and saw a lunch menu item we liked but the lunch menu was only between 12:00pm and 2:30pm. We waited outside where one of the waitresses was talking to a customer and we tried to get her attention without disturbing her conversation but were unsuccessful as they were deep in conversation unrelated to catering. She saw us waiting at the front and did not bother to halt her chat with the customer to ask if we were served or needed any help. As a result, we tried calling another waitress inside the restaurant who saw us waiving at her but she had a vacuum in her hand so we proceeded to wait as we assumed she wanted to put that down and would attend to us. Instead she put the vacuum down and went to have a chat with another lady in the restaurant completely ignoring our calls to her.

We were looking to dine at the restaurant and order one of the burger lunch items but needed to check whether we could still order it given it was past 2:30pm, but following the etiquette of the waitresses on staff we could not fathom dining at a restaurant were customers (or perhaps some customers, more than others) are treated like that.

Out of frustration, I proceeded to walk into the restaurant to ask the young waitress why she blatantly ignored us like she didn't want to serve us. I was asked to step out of the restaurant given I forgot to put on my mask which I respectfully did and expressed my disappointment.

I informed the supervising staff of my intention to leave a bad review as she made no attempt to remedy the situation and take responsibility of her staff member's etiquette. My choice to leave this review is to exercise the only power I have against businesses who disrespect their customers who should be the most important people for the business. Evident in the comment below, there is no indication of responsibility being taken by the business or apology to the customer, instead it is merely an attempt to undermine my right to share my experience so other unsuspecting customers do not have to endure the same mistreatment.

I love this place, great location, the staff are always really friendly and professional. Coffee is great and there's a good range of desserts and lunch/breakfast options.

Only downside is sometimes they play very loudly the most grating club music remixes! Rick Astley's "never gonna give you up" is not a song that should ever be remixed into some sort of electronic club version... Ever. Please rethink the music... I love this place but I just can't handle it anymore😂

Excellent coffee and food. They have a variety of options for breakfast or lunch. I usually go for a quick egg breakfast in the morning available till 11am. Fresh ingredients and delicious. Prices are reasonable and location is excellent if working on currie street, waymouth street area.
The interior decor is tasteful - dark tones and wood. Staff is quick to serve and friendly.

Loved the positive, bubbly vibe from the owners. Was convenient to stop here for a good coffee on our way past. If you like good quality coffee and prompt, friendly service then this place is all of that!
Beautiful view and calm cafe, its really a hidden cafe in the city,we had breakfast here ,good varieties for brunch
Feel like to sit there and have a coffee, makes your day better
We had brunch there on Sunday,it was busy but staff was friendly and food was great
Loved this place, recommends to have visit there at least once
What a lovely place to enjoy lunch by the river. Service was friendly and in good time. And beautiful presentation too. Such generous portions of creamy scrambled eggs, and the avocado on toast was super tasty. One of my best avo experiences. Well worth a visit away from the CBD.

Lovely coffee to satisfy even this picky Melbournian. Colourful place with affordable lunchy items and all day breakfasts. Incredibly impressed with inclusion of lactose free milk as a menu option. Cheery positive customer service. Thanks! :)

The eggs benedict here is very delicious. Eggs benny, they call me. "Hey its eggs benny!" They'll shout but that's not my name but it may as well be.

Been eating here for the past year. They've been very consistent with the quality of their food. Pictured is a Moroccan chicken salad and a fried chicken burger.

Take the time to venture away from your usual lunch spot, make this your new spot. You'll survive your 30 minute lunch break to dine in. In a hurry? No dramas. Order a wrap to go! Toasted or fresh, the choice is yours.

Dare to adventure and find the likuid gold at the end of the rainbow.

Oh, coffee is good too.
