Food was really good.
The salt and pepper squid was tasty, and tender, the chips were good, but maybe a little light on the squid and heavy on chips.
The porterhouse was probably the best steak I had in a long time, cooked perfect, presented well, and accompanied with some great veg.
The waiting staff were helpful and the open kitchen made a good atmosphere.

Adelaide City Snack Bar takes pride in their service and their food. Food presentation is really nice, generous serves, delicious taste and great value. Quick lunchtime turnaround. Really friendly staff. The home-made dumplings were juicy with great filling. The bo kho (beef stew) was the stand out.

I ordered pork roll and Vietnamese coffee. Can't believe banh mi without pate and mayo. There is no sauce at all. It was dry and cold. I couldn't taste coffee in Vietnamese coffee, just the sweetness of the condensed milk.

Edit: Down from 2 to 1 star cause feeling so disappointed. I have no issue with your service, but it seems like you always want excuses. I couldn't find any sauce options in your roll menu options. It should be asked by the staff when taking order. I'm even happy to pay for extra sauce if it could make my roll better. Also, If you feel your rolls could be "healthier" without mayo and pate, so please don't call it Vietnamese roll. It's a shame.

Pork roll was great, tasty and full with fillings. Bun bowl was just ok. Will come back for the rolls!

This place is more than just a "snack bar." Here, they have a great Vietnamese lunchtime menu which is very reasonably priced.
The premises is clean and tidy with indoor and outdoor seating if you choose to dine-in. Their drinks fridge has always been well stocked with plenty to choose from.

Since changing owners the quality of food has decreased. Rolls are significantly smaller portions with a higher cost. gone from a must have to a probably not if I can help it option

Great lunch spot always really tasty and busy showing how good it is. But the team are super efficient and will get a meal real quick with a smile. Has all the classic Vietnamese lunch plus some extras
