Beware, I witnessed flies crawling on the treats behind glass.
The place, service and products are actually good except for the fact the multiple visits, I notice flies walking on the treats that I would like to get. They need to do a better job protecting the food. Makes me want to vomit; a pet peeve of mine, hence the score.
Tarallucci e Vino in NYC is a true gem. Nestled amidst the bustling cityscape, it offers an authentic Italian escape with its impeccable dishes and cozy ambiance. Each bite transports you to the rolling hills of Tuscany, with flavors that are both delicate and robust. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, offering perfect pairings for every palate. The staff is warm and attentive, making every visit feel like a return to a beloved home. A must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine taste of Italy in the heart of New York.

So much variety of bakery items. The crossings and other bread item star really good. The cakes and cream
Pastries look good but have such chunky fruits in them that it feels like you are eating an entree with fork and knife vs delicate dessert . For the tropical
Mango slice and the mango was sooo big and sooo tart that I could
Not eat the cake. It left a bad taste. Will still go for other items .

Lovely food which is all baked fresh, especially the croissants!, but the staff show an incredible lack of interest - one cashier had airpods in while serving us - and still expect a tip…

The skinny black girl working in the front had terrible customer service. She is mean to the customer and no patient when you try to order the food. She always has the bad attitude when you try to order the food. Other employees are great over there.

I’ve been coming here regularly and every time, I leave with a bitter taste in my mouth. The staff here are extremely rude, not one bit friendly. The guy threw the change at me, never said thank you or goodbye. EVERYTIME I come here it’s always the same attitude. I only come because I like the coffee but after this time there’s no way I’ll be going back. Should be taught a course on how to be nice to people or get a job where you don’t interact with any.
My sister and I love La Colombe for their coffee beans, and frequent their Los Angeles branches.

I thought of dropping by this one in the city, and ordered two shots of espresso over light ice, but it tasted burnt. Pretty disappointed with this :( thankful it’s not my only stop while cafe hopping.

This was the best we had in Manhattan! We had the pumpkin doughnut and ham and cheese croissant. They were both delicious,we went twice it was so good. 😍 The service was exceptional as well. Highly recommend
Delicious classic Italian food with fresh pastas, salads and secondi of fish and steak. The Playing an Italian waiter but my brother (a regular) says he is actually Italian! Branzino was yummy, had a thin crust prosciutto pizza and we shared a grilled salmon. All fresh and good. The wine "special" was a Slovenian white and it would have been nice to know it was $22 per glass before we enjoyed it! Otherwise, all good. Pleasant outdoor shed across from a Fire Station which added a lot of color to the evening (might drive some people crazy ..)

I recently dined here and was blown away by their phenomenal onion soup. The onion soup had a rich, savory broth with perfectly caramelized onions, offering a depth of flavors that left my taste buds tingling. My entree was the FR burger, it too was a masterpiece - juicy, well-seasoned beef topped with melted cheese and crisp, fresh vegetables, all nestled within a soft brioche bun. Every bite was a symphony of flavors. I devoured the soup too quickly to take a picture but here’s a picture of the burger.

This is truly the epitome of a French bistro experience right in the heart of NYC. Stylish, intimate and seasonal menus tap the best of France's classic dishes, and the chefs spin new trends into favorite dishes. Accessible, delicious, and memorable. The bar is a local's favorite, with delightful cocktail offerings each season, spun by its own mixologists. Service is en pointe, and you'll occasionally spot a celebrity among the restaurant's chic bistro tables. Recommend the gourmet burgers, European style coffee and that showstopper brunch is unforgettable! Not to be missed, highly recommend on all counts, a true Upper West Side favorite.

This is a neighborhood staple. A classic, beautiful restaurant with wonderful food, kind and incredible staff (exceptional martinis from the bar staff) and quite, whimsical atmosphere. I’ve been coming here for years and first time back since covid. She hasn’t lost her touch and charm.

Love love blue bottle's coffee. Although it is a bit smaller than Starbucks, the coffee and skimmed milk are so smooth and delicious
Zibetto’s is a simply amazing little cafe. Espresso and a croissant was a great start to the day. Located just two blocks Central Park.

The sign on their door says they close at 7.30 pm on weekdays. I reached at 7.25 pm and they had already locked the entrance from inside. I knocked on the glass door and the guy inside, who was cleaning, heard me but pretended that he could not. I then walked around and knocked on the window. He was embarrassed to see me again and signaled "closed". I showed him the time on my phone that showed 7.26pm so he pointed me to the lady at the cash register. When i looked at her, she too said we are closed, and went inside in the kitchen area like she didn't care. Horrible service!!

Baristas are all super welcoming and helpful, and coffee is consistently good.
Don't expect to find a seat in here especially during the week, it's a really small cafe and better for take-out. Since there's a lot of offices around here it's always pretty busy too, sometimes line out the door. That being said, line moves pretty quickly and there's lots of seating at Bryant Park.

The coffee quality and the atmosphere was amazing. The taste of the coffee was rich. I tasted the new orleans and it had fruit notes. I liked the taste.
It's a comparatively tight space with standing bar space and sidewalk seating. Great coffee and tasty treats.

I was here many years ago. To my great surprise, not much has changed since, it felt like. Easy, no frills but elegantly friendly espresso based coffee bar, serving own coffee, teas, a variety of pastries, cannolis and sandwiches.

It was pouring buckets outside when I stepped in. This part of the city that has always remained shaded through all kinds of weather is now piled with swatches of all degrees of grey, and a deeper, unrelenting blue. Everyone that walked through the door is a regular. The barista knew their drinks, knew their life events. And the regulars wished them luck on the broken dishwasher. I was welcomed, as a silent observer, to their tight community, surviving on these streets where no one knows my name.

The person taking orders at the counter is unfriendly.
It was difficult to take out the hot tea bag because they put the whole tea bag in the cup.
Please understand that unfriendliness and poor service are a shame for Central Park Starbucks.

The best espresso in town! Really classic Italian espresso, you can’t go wrong with that! My Italian friend said it was exactly the same in his home town in Turin, great approval!
Best coffee I’ve had in NYC so far. Not your usual American trash coffee, proper espresso with properly textured milk in their flat whites.

No real food options, so just come for the coffee (I don’t consider a croissant real food 😅).

Being a coffee lover from New Zealand, I wasn’t sure how I would survive 6 days in New York until I found Blue Bottle Coffee. An outstanding flat white, even in my 6oz keep cup. Went to a few locations, all were great, but this one was my first.

I remember this restaurant when I was in Belgium and missed it, so we've decided to have breakfast here with my coworker. The atmosphere here was relaxing and nice. I got the avocado toast with an egg on top and the Cafe au lait with oatmilk. Delish!
I came on Friday night and everything was on point. Food was incredible good and i feel again in Italy also the staff make huge different in a restaurant super friendly and with a lot of a knowledge, i am frequent client that enjoys a good espresso martini!! Def the best in the city!! The manager is incredible nice!

Best pastries I have EVER had! Perfect balance, NOT too sweet. While staying across the street, we visited almost every day. Everything we tried was wonderful ( pastries, cake, sandwiches, and drinks) to top it off, the staff was fantasic even when crowed they were engaging, focused and always had a smile.
Food was great but portions were very small. We had the spaghetti carbonara, lasagna, and chicken milanese. Best was the lasagna, cooked to perfection. Chicken was great too and spaghetti was average.

The matcha latte for 7$ was terrible. For this price, some effort is required! It’s from a syrop bottle and far from real and natural one.

Horrible horrible experience. They take 30-40 minutes to make your drink. They have removed all seats so u have to stand 40 minutes for your drink. There is no bathroom either. They mishear and charge for Venti instead of Grande size.
Great strong/rich coffee, friendly staff members and also good place to just chill and socialize with a friend. Had the ice latte and vanilla ice latte either are good just depending on how you prefer your lattee
Enjoyed a 3-day trip to NYC and got my cappuccino on each day at Zibetto! It was that good! Pastries are fresh and amazing, but the espresso is what had me hooked.
i don’t like to leave negative reviews, but my experience today was disheartening. ordered an iced oatmilk latte with vanilla, and unfortunately my latte tasted nothing like vanilla. i asked if they could please add a bit more, and the barista gave her co-worker the most outraged, disgusted look over my request. i’ve been a barista, i know customers can be a pain, but my coffee tasted awful to me and i was nothing but courteous when i asked for more syrup. paid $8 for bad coffee and a demoralizing encounter.

I recently visited Le Pain Quotidien in New York City with my wife. I was in a wheelchair, & we found that the restaurant was wheelchair accessible & had plenty of room for me to move around. The pastries were fresh & delicious. I especially enjoyed the Cheese Danish & Coconut Macaroon. And you need to get the French Cream Donut, just reg. coffee for me. It was fresh. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. It was a great place to relax & enjoy breakfast with my wife. Be patient with the service. The staff is friendly and helpful, but they may be a bit slow at times. Overall, I had a positive experience at Le Pain Quotidien. I would definitely recommend it to others, especially those who are looking for a wheelchair-accessible restaurant with delicious food and coffee.
The restaurant is conveniently located on the corner of W29th St. & 7th Ave.,& it's a great place to stop for breakfast, a quick bite, or a leisurely meal.

Been wanting to try Blue Bottles coffee for some time after reading about them in “Sprint”.

The coffee was excellent and certainly surpassed expectations.

This shop on particular is pretty small so I didn’t sit in. Handy that they opened at 7am on a Saturday for us early risers.

This place is amazing! Small Parisian pastry shop/deli that offers quick and delicious baguette sandwiches. Friendly staff + I got a Jeanne D'Arc Sandwich (w/ artichokes, dijon mustard, mushrooms, etc.) The baguette had a beautiful crust on the outside and the flavor was incredibly balanced. A large sandwich for $14 (tax included) was a bit expensive for my budget but I savored every bite of it.

I wish that my baguette sandwich was a little more heated but it's good as it is.

I agree with a lot of the comments below, they tend to open late and when they are open the breakfast sandwiches aren't ready. Majority of the staff is nice but I agree with the below, there is some that are super moody. I got almond milk in my coffee when I asked for regular, I asked said a few times I didn't ask for almond milk and she just ignored me and shes quite snappy with other customers. One MAJOR thing I cant get over is the price increase is HUGE!!! To get a croissant alone is over $5! $3 something used to be bad enough.
Super small inside, but nonetheless some of the best coffee you can find near here. Quality was excellent and lots of little cookies to accompany.

French Roast. 2340 Broadway, New York, NY

I had a great evening at French Roast, a cozy relaxed French restaurant on Broadway’s UWS.

I loved the vibes. The place is relaxed, laid back with great service, fabulous food and cocktails.

I had a delicious French Onion Soup that had more cheese than the entire Loire Valley. The Mussels Provençal came in a bucket as big as the ocean. And the Steak au Poivre was a perfectly made, juicy, medium rare.

I loved the French fries and couldn’t had enough of the deserts and the cocktails.

Totally, loved that place 💕

It was such a great place with delicious options, but the cashier attitude could definitely improve. it definitely ruins the whole experience. At the moment of walking in it feels a really nice atmosphere, but once you hear YES?..instead of a welcoming quote, it definitely changes the mood.

I just started sitting outside to eat my salad and halfway into it, they decide to start painting the area I’m sitting in. It is lunchtime. The fumes from the paint were atrocious. I had to pick up all my stuff and move inside. Extremely poor management. How do you send a worker to paint on top of someone? No common sense at all. Not the best time to be painting the frame of your outside dining. So I paid 20 dollars to have a nice relaxing meal, to completely be inconvenienced. Absolute stupidity

Love blue bottle coffee and this outlet is just next to Bryant park and is so convenient. Bought a cup of coffee here after my workout.
This was relatively smaller coffee joint in terms of area. The coffee was good, staff was friendly.
The place was clean and well maintained. We visited this joint around 7:30 am and the place was busy. There were not enough sitting place for everyone. Croissant was okay.

The place didn’t have any restrooms and the parking was not easily available nearby. You will have to look for street parking or parking lot nearby.

This place has rude workers . Particularly the guy with the dreads. Such a nasty attitude towards customers then proceeds to talks about the customer directly to another server in front of them! They also charge $12 for the tiniest croissant with cheese. The croissants aren’t regular sizes and are micro which is ok; but don’t price gauge!! Never again there are plenty of better locations! Also

Randomly walking back to our hotel from the subway and the royal blue caught my eye. Everything looked delicious but I limited myself to 3 items. Cream donut, lemon tart and raspberry tart. Staff was super kind. We were going to sit in the additional seating upstairs but there unfortunately wasn't any room. Bathrooms were clean as well.

While I go to French roast quite frequently I've never taken the time to leave a review. It is a great place for a quick meal with somebody that you need to have a meeting with or would like to talk to. The space is crowded so your conversations are not necessarily secret. The service has always been top-notch and the food never has let me down. The coffee is really great to end your meal

11/06/23. 3.30 p.m. it's my first ever negative review. We almost spoiled our day yesterday because of the rude staff. She was upset with another male staff member. He was very slow in taking orders and she took over and took our order. 2 pastries which we collected and also 3 types of coffee. We sat down and finished our pastries and waited for a long time for the coffee and went to the counter to remind them about our order. They totally forgot. She didn't even feel sorry for that but snapped back very rudely. The way she put our coffee on the table , we never experienced that type of behavior anywhere. She nearly threw the straw. Later realized because of her rude bossiness the male staff ( he might be new) was stunned and low in confidence. I felt sorry for him. Another customer said we should ignore the attitude and enjoy our evening and we remind ourselves it's our precious outing and we calm ourselves . Very unprofessional and it doesn't even deserve a good picture. But the coffee and coffee cake is good. I think It was made by another staff member. The one star is for her.
It’s close to Grand Central station. There is no room for seating here. Prices are NYC blue bottle standard. The milk frother wasn’t really working so there wasn’t much foam in my latte.
Great bespoke coffee made to order and poured in front of you. Delicious and invigorating. Highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a coffee experience. And the staff are friendly and helpful too.

This is one of my most visited blue bottle coffee shops as the location is great - right across the Bryant Park and near a subway stop. This coffee shop is so easy to visit, for both locals and tourists.

I always like to order my all-time favorite drinks, iced New Orleans coffee. They really do a great job on this one so I highly recommend.

I was there just yesterday and the AC was down. I wish there were more seats inside the shop - it’s quite small and not a very ideal option if your looking to find a place to sit and hang out with friends.

Food is fine. Coffee and hot chocolate were ok, but not great. Make sure to skip the counter and get the table service in the back if you want your coffee in a mug and not a paper cup and more food options.
I went for a party yesterday and the vibe and energy of the server was great. The hospitality was great. Was the food to die for, ehh. Even though the party menu might be different for any regular person who dines in, I just wasnt a fan. But it was filling portions, very fresh, and light. The starter I had was the meatballs, they were soft and the sauce was great, but if it had a tad bit more salt I know the flavors would be showing more. Then, the main course I had was the Cacio e Pepe and there was a lot of cheese that it gave the sauce this grit I wasnt fond of. But the pasta was amazing in that dish, loved the texture. Lastly, the bread pudding was nice, the sauce couldve been sweeter. It was overall, an okay meal. The drinks menu they handed just wasnt doing it for me, I’m not a mezcal fan but I just couldn’t find a drink I was interested in besides the wine. It was a nice experience, the staff catered to everyone’s needs, food portions great, wine selections great. If you want a classy Manhattan Italian experience for a cute price come here.

The employees are great as is the food at a reasonable price, but three stars because they don’t ever open on time. When they do rarely open on time they never have any of the food out for breakfast. They are typically open closer to 7:00AM.
Excellent food when I came here for a private event. This place has got its bread and olive oil RIGHT, with the perfect saltiness and chewiness on the bread. The arugula and walnut salad was my fav dish, it was light, nutty and the dressing was done perfectly. Salmon was also a hit with the crispy and well seasoned skin (eat it w the skin), and got chicken, pasta, potatoes, and asparagus as well all of which were very good if you add a tad bit more salt to it. Berry salad for dessert with the fresh mint was a nice final cleanser.

The coffee quality is amazing! Clean and great vibes! Whenever I walk by Bryant park I have to get my coffee from here. Love it ☕️
Great little spot near Central Park. The Cappuccino was delicious and was perfect on a chilly, rainy, foggy day in New York!

The croissant/cornetto and the little donut I ordered were a tad harder than I'd have liked, but still tasty.

The server was charming and energetic. She photobombed one of my photos below, while I was trying to snap a pic of the store hours.

There are no chairs inside, as it's very small and narrow, but there are four little stand-up shelves to lean on by the wall. Careful you don't bump into anyone in line behind you, though.

Overall, I can see this place getting packed pretty quickly on days with better weather, but it wasn't crowded at all when I went on a Saturday afternoon in Manhattan. Definitely recommending the coffee, and try your luck with the pastries. Maybe you'll fare better and get freshly baked ones.

Cappuccino was $5.05
Sfogliatelle (tiny donut holes) was $5.52 for 2
Cornetto (croissant equivalent) was $3.44.
Total spent: $18.30 with tax and everything.

4/5 stars from me
Oh my gosh, have you tried Blue Bottle Coffee in New York yet? It's originally from California and the taste is so rich! What's even better is that most of their coffee is organic. I tried their cappuccino and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had. Plus, their stores have such a cool, minimalistic vibe to them and the staff is amazing. You have to check it out!
Such a fantastic Italian spot! The restaurant is very open but has a warm inviting feeling. All the food was delicious and everything felt authentic and handmade. It was delicious! I’d definitely recommend a reservation because it can get very busy.
this place has the best pastries ever. i was so stuck on which one to choose because they all looked absolutely delicious. made fresh! they have great seating upstairs, with a window view on NYC! loved this bakery. (you can also get food though!)

really good drinks as usual. sometimes i felt like our server was not patient with us or our order because she kept asking "thats it?" every time we asked for something new. no bathrooms though. service a little slower than usual, but they also had lots of customers, so that's understandable. overall, good starbucks and good location.
First time in NY gotta try their coffee ☕️ I personally really like the latte that has more milk than coffee so this one is just perfect 🤩 they only have one size but I think it’s a good size. Not so expensive which I was surprised. And they were really quick. If you like the coffee has more milk then you should give it a shot!

Yum yum yum!
A real French bakery. The French danish is super delicious as well as the chocolate croissant
I am gonna come back and try the almond croissant tomorrow
My child loved the rainbow cake but was sad it don't have blue lol
Wow. Such a cozy place, rustic, intimate. The food was amazing. Best I've ever had at any restaurant in my 38 years. True traditional Italian. Not the Italian-American we are used to. They make their pasta in house, as well as everything else being made to order. The red wine on special was divine. There were so many points for each dish where we just sat in silence and stared at our plates in a trance. Each bite was savoured, and rightfully so. Pure perfection from beginning to end. Our waiter was wonderful too! His Italian accent was so thick and beautiful I wanted to put him in my pocket so he can narrate my entire life.

Gainsbourg, sub comte for camembert, add tomato+arugula, add cured ham, and get a bag of black truffle chips on the side (then put some in your sandwich for added flavor+crunch).
Perhaps THE best coffee and espresso I had in Manhattan. (And the service staff was insanely nice and happy-go-lucky). Highly recommend this place.
Despite how busy it is, they really put care into each cup! The coffee was very tasty and everything I could have asked for. They ask for your order while you're in line, so it was a very efficient operation despite the seemingly long line at 9am on a Monday!

This place right here does an amazing job offering a wide variety of options. There's several in the area but this one is my favorite. The pantries are made fresh, they use nothing but the best ingredients and the items they put together are heavenly. Overall great experience. I love the self calculating machine. It rang everything up with a scan. We tried 5 different items and were impressed with all of them. Try it out! It's amazing!

Very disappointed, by the app and Google, they supposed to open at 6:30am and there is a sign saying that they are going to open at 8:15am. Well, they did not open until 8:30am. After I went in, the manager had some attitude for no reason because I asked the barista if they had my order when he is the one opening late. Need better management…he is even advising there employees to do when you can…what? He has a long beard, his name is Wolf.
The baguettes were amazing! I stayed a week in the East Village with my sister, so we decided to grab some breakfast at Le Petit Parisien because it was relative close to our place. I’m really glad we did. My sister and I ended up having a very nice chat with the owner. 100 recommend.

We were craving sweets and decided to end our day in the city by stopping here. We were not surprised that because of the past closing time, the selection was smaller but still fine. The best part? Those desserts were delicious! We didn’t end up with anything that we didn’t enjoy. Prices were reasonable too. The worst part? I’m not docking stars for hearing the worker mumble that he just wanted to go home. It was way past closing time and the place kept filling up with people! I wondered why they wouldn’t lock the door at least. At one point, someone moved a chair/table in front of one of the doors but people kept coming in through the other one. We left and passed it like 10-15 minutes later and it was still open and even more full! Those guys deserve extra stars for the customer service cause I’m sure it was a long day for them.
Small spot but very quick service. The coffee is on point. The location is very convenient. They have a drink and pastry menu. They also sell bottles and eco friendly related items like bags and/or mugs.

The staff and manager are extremely rude. I ordered lunch 2 weeks ago for a staff meeting and lost the receipt. I went back to get a copy and they they said no before even looking at the computer. The manager then tapped a few buttons and said they can only do the last 5 days and maybe I shouldn’t have lost my receipt. Calling the Customer service number and all the extensions are out of service. Never again.
First time in New York and I stumbled upon La Colombe Coffee. I ordered a large drip coffee in the morning which was good so came back later the day to try draft latte. I typically have almond milk with coffee (but wanted to try something new) and I was pleasantly surprised by its really smooth and velvety taste. (I was worried it would be too sweet as my coffees tend to be unsweetened.) What would draw me back is not only for their coffee but amiable and helpful staff. Like me, you might find yourself a bit lost as a first-timer to try and explore new drink. I appreciate their help on selection.
Small, cute coffee shop across Bryant Park. I have visited many BB coffee shops in NYC because I just like BB so much. Awesome coffee beans, and for this one, it is nice to see the team works pretty well and efficient. Many of them are also so stylish. Aha. A bonus! Anyway, so with the coffee, you can either drink in the cafe (well... It is quite small and tho) or just cross the street and enjoy the free space and everything else at the Park. When I was staying for almost a month in town, I visited this coffee shop almost everyday. I love it.
I’m not sure why this place has any bad reviews! Their sandwiches are delicious and the folks who work here are very kind. Love this neighborhood spot and the Bridget Bardot baguette sandwich

The drip coffee with a splash of milk was good. The taste was bold which I liked. And the iced latte was great! Their pastries are from Le Petit Paris.

Tried their ham and cheese croissant. There were huge pieces of ham in the center and the croissant was very large but unfortunately the pastry didn't taste fresh. Got there around 8am on a weekday.

Most of the workers are really nice, you can tell they work hard, but there’s always that one guythis is the third time I’ve gotten chocolate and it’s straight up petrified. Like it’s from an old case in the back. My drinks weren’t really filled and one is more milk than anything else.
The French people’s arrival to the anericas is wrought with problems but they maintained to survive and to prosper. I get around NYC more then most people so I’m not sure how I missed the little French shop. I like a French roast on my coffee from time to time, this time because of work I was only able to purchase a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie. Both were delicious and the counter man was a authentic French person. Awesome right? Their establishment felt comfy with some art work that will spark your creativity. Nice place, and circle around again to try their coffee.#kingofcoffeenyc #sankofatafari #french #france #lionofthebx
