I came here looking for burgers but have realised that they only do sandos now but I wasn't disappointed. Very tasty and great portion-wise. If you're with someone, buy different sandos and share it as they cut it in half.
a fun little spot for one piece enjoyers with tasteful decor, figures, and statues situated around this joint. the food is pretty irrelevant to the show itself, if you separated the two there would be no correlation between them. anyways, i tried the japanese fried chicken sando, and the fruit sando. the fried chicken was delicious, and definitely filling for a decent price. do keep in mind that it's a sandwich after all, but the toppings were serviceable and good enough at the time. the fruit sando was a bit underwhelming, especially for its price as it was simply a couple of fruit pieces with whipped creme. it wasn't anything spectacular, but felt more of a rip off if anything. theres a first for everything though! i would only get the japanese fried chicken sando if i came by the area regularly.
I recently visited One Plus Piece, Melbourne’s first anime-themed Asian fusion sando joint, and I was blown away!

What I ordered:
• Wagyu Sando ($36.8)
• Japanese Fried Chicken ($13.9)
• Fruit Sando ($14.5)
• Lychee Nojito
• Matcha Apple Soda

The Wagyu Sando ($36.8) was a highlight—perfectly tender and juicy wagyu, all packed between soft bread. The Japanese Fried Chicken ($13.9) had a crispy coating and succulent meat, and the Fruit Sando ($14.5) was a refreshing dessert with a delightful mix of fresh fruits and cream.

For drinks, I tried the Lychee Nojito and the Matcha Apple Soda—both were unique and perfectly complemented the food. The anime-inspired setting adds a fun and lively atmosphere, making it a must-visit for foodies and anime fans alike.

Don’t forget to snap some pics for the ‘gram! Highly recommend!
Located at Melbourne Central, One Plus Piece is an anime-themed sandwich and burger joint inspired by One Piece. I ordered the Lobster and Prawn Toast, which was really delicious.

In the shop, there's a wall of figures of most of the One Piece characters. If you're a fan of One Piece, I highly recommend this place.
prolly the best wagyu sando i have ever tried. The bread, sauce and the beef were all so perfect to my liking. Love that the beef was so tender even though i had to take away and eat it at home. The staff was not the friendliest but was also very helpful and accommodating. wish she’d be more friendly and smile a bit. the place was small but cozy but would be perfect for any one piece fan. They have one piece decor all over the shop even just by the entrance so you definitely won’t miss this shop when you’re in Melbourne central. Their milkshake are also very pleasing to the eyes if you feel like having both drinks and desserts at the time. I had the toasted mallows and it was so good, definitely a must order as it goes well with the wagyu sando.
Photos look ok right?
However steak was just smushed up to the center, for that photo effect.

You know how they do that at many cafes, so it actually looks like its packed, however when you have one bite, the realisation hits that the rear half of the sanwich is near empty?

That would be the case here.

Whilst the “doneness” was on point for a great medium rare, quality also was fine, nice and fatty (likely) wagyu, there was just such a lack of flavour in the sandwich.

Does this seem a bit harsh of a review for a simple sanwich place? Maybe, until you consider the fact that the item cost over $37.

I sometimes hesitate to pay even that at a steakhouse or pub, which is cooked fresh (these are pre made apparently) and comes with sides.

I wanted to love this place based on how cool it looked in insta stories/reels, but unfortunately it let me down more than my team members back in group university assignments
Juicy meat and very good milkshakes, some of the dishes are somewhat small in relation to the price, they have a very tasty cheeseburger (I liked the classic one better than the black bread) and the side of potatoes with toppings to share is great, the most striking are the milkshakes with very interesting combinations and the atmosphere is top tier.

"The One Piece Is real!"
I ordered a triple bondi burger meal and it was terrible. The bread was soaking, almost as if it had been dipped in water. The chicken was plain and wet. Honestly one of the worst burgers I've ever had. When I had the burger in my hands, it kept falling apart because the bread was properly wet. Also while I was waiting for my food the fat manager kept yelling at her staff while they were taking orders. Never eating here again
Grabbed a late lunch/early dinner at Oporto pre seeing a play. I really recommend the burger as a double stack as even then the bun to patty ratio isn’t quite right. I like the oprego sauce though
@onepluspiece.au is the best spot to grab delicious burgers and sandwiches with refreshing coolers located @melbournecentral shopping center.

What we had:

Steak sandwich,
Wagyu truffle cheeseburger,
Fries,
Fried chicken wings,
Butterfly pea lemonade,
Salted pink grapefruit,
Tropical popping pearl

That steak sandwich was simply loaded and was so incredibly tasty, and the steak was juicy, tender and not at all chewy. So good, definitely wanna go back for this one. Highly recommended
The cheese burger was really very satisfying to eat, the patty was also very juicy and nice flavours too. Must try. The drinks were super refreshing and delicious as well.

The service is prompt even though they remain busy during peak hours. The food quality is good and the prices are very standard and justified considering the portion sizes and quality.
Great food in terms of the prices. Customer service amazing as always. Most importantly, always super reliable.

Both times I've been here, I have been served and greeted so well.. so unexpected by fast food chain, and it never stood out to me before. So I wanted to leave the compliment and say the customer service at this particular store is probably one of the best for a fast food chain. The counter was also clean, food came out quickly for me too. I think you guys are doing great!
The burgers are dry and the brekkie deal didn't taste good. Not only was it greasy, the flavor wasnt great either. Overall, I wouldn't have it again

Been there about three times throughout July and again during September, I really like how nice the bar staff are, I asked them if they would do a cocktail and they made a really nice one (couldn’t tell you what it was, I just told them I liked chambord and it was delicious) plus the stage thing is a lot of fun to dance on ! Just gotta be careful getting down if you’re in heels.
I also love the photos you get in the outdoor area. Heaps of fun 😁🥂

Amazing place to go for a night out! I booked the ‘gold room’ for an event here for a friends surprise party and Daniel the venue manager couldn’t have been any more helpful if he tried. Such an easy, stress free and fantastic night. Couldn’t recommend the venue anymore if I tried. Staff were all lovely, facilities clean and I will certainly be back for future events!
My girlfriend ordered vegge-burger and she is pure vegetarian and in our culture it is totally unacceptable and she got the chicken burger and the person who was serving he the food he even knew that he did the mistake and even though managers knew that and when i go to talk them they literally told that they knew it and just said sorry and i am not faking i do have the proof never ever come and if u come always check I don’t want other people to disrespect any of there culture or religion.

If I would give 0 stars I would, the bar tender on Friday the 4th around 9:40 pm first floor verbally assaulted me, making this the worst experience at I’ve ever experienced on a night out I will be writing to management and asking for a full refund. As a customer I shouldn’t be verbally assaulted by the staff. Absolute terrible experience. Reccomending peolle to never go.
I have tried this kind of food somewhere else but this one was so tasty and cooked well with all enough souse. I got one cheesy fried potato which was one of the best fried I have tasted in this town.

I didnt trust the negative reviews and went to the club. We had an amazing time. It wasnt super crowded for a Friday night. The outdoor fireplace was lovely. Some fun neon signs and different music played on each floor. It is not the most modern place but not bad either

Retros used to be my go-to and favorite spot. I went there last night, and for the most part, I had a great time.

However, there was this guy, bald with sunglasses, who kept harassing women all night long. It was really uncomfortable to witness. Despite the women rejecting him every time, he wouldn't take no for an answer. He would physically grab them and refuse to let go, making them visibly uneasy. They had to push him away repeatedly, but he would persist with the same people. He even tried approaching my friend and the people we met there, and I had to physically stand in his way to keep him at bay.

I decided to talk to one of the security guys about it. His response was pretty disheartening. He said, "Oh, he's one of our regulars. When he gets like that and if we see him being too grabby, we tell him to stop. Just keep an eye on him for me." Basically implying that this kind of behavior from him is a regular occurrence. I rarely write reviews, but this whole situation was absolutely disgusting. It's unacceptable to justify harassment just because someone is a regular customer. Safety should always be the top priority, and no one should have to feel uncomfortable in a place like this.

25 bucks entry fee to see people dancing in thongs 🩴 🤮
And the Crowd is not very diverse, Which makes sense for a "retro" club, but still.... For 25 bucks you expect a better experience!
There are better bars/clubs in the city with no entry fee and more decent crowd.
Affordable food, quick service and friendly staff. Do try their salads. I bought a Quarter Chicken Box ($12.75) which after a $5 discount from the app came to be $7.75. Quite satisfied!

The vibe of the place is amazing. It was one of the locations for a bar crawl we did on Friday. Two storied place with enough space for hanging out with friends. Two bars on both dance floors. However, alcohol was way too costly. One bottle of Corona was $13.50. So plan your drinks accordingly.
