Reviews

I've been to alot of Colleges in NY. Not one of them compares to how bad Pace University is. It is so bad in fact, that I went out of my way to write a review, which I never do.
In my time here I noticed that the college staff, professors, and the community constantly push a liberal agenda towards it's students, new or old. I'm not a political man so I don't care much for when a place of study pushes it's politic values on students, however Pace is very overbearing with it.
I had just finished this and still have not received my grades. On top of all this I had registered for classes just to have them dropped by Pace staff because I did not meet some requirements. It would have been nice to see these requirements before signing up for class, but I guess Pace uses poor, unpaid interns who barley know how to code a website properly.
I have 1or 2 jobs and making a schedule for school to fit is very difficult for me, Pace only made things harder. Please don't let the word "University" sway your opinion on this college it means nothing in this context.

Pace University, with campuses in New York City and Westchester County, stands out as an institution that blends academic excellence with a strong emphasis on practical, real-world experience. The university’s strategic locations provide students with unique opportunities to engage with the vibrant professional and cultural landscape of New York City.
Pace University is recognized for its diverse range of programs, including business, arts and sciences, health professions, and technology. The faculty comprises experienced professionals and scholars, contributing to a dynamic learning environment. The university’s commitment to small class sizes fosters personalized attention and meaningful interactions between students and faculty.
A distinctive feature of Pace is its focus on experiential learning. Through internships, co-op programs, and partnerships with industry leaders, students have the chance to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings. This hands-on approach enhances their readiness for the professional world, a valuable asset for career development.
The campus facilities, particularly in the heart of Manhattan, offer students access to state-of-the-art resources, libraries, and a network of professionals. The university’s efforts in fostering a sense of community are evident through various student organizations, events, and extracurricular activities, creating a well-rounded college experience.
However, some concerns have been raised about the cost of tuition, although financial aid options are available. Additionally, the competitiveness of certain programs and limited campus housing space can pose challenges for prospective students.
In conclusion, Pace University distinguishes itself through its academic diversity, strong ties to industry, and commitment to experiential learning. While considerations about costs and program competitiveness exist, the university’s location, engaged faculty, and emphasis on practical skills contribute to a compelling educational experience.

Went here to play against Quick strike FC at this university and the field was so nice! They have nice turf and nice everything, there is a bathroom, But no food stands.

Great service! Thank you to Anna and team for helping me get invoices - I needed them on a time crunch in an hour to submit to my company, and they edited and resent me new invoices within a matter of minutes! Garfield is also a great teacher. Will definitely be going back here soon!

Great place for future elite college bound kids.

Thanks to the outstanding service, I went into Georgetown and UCLA despite moving high school twice and getting a 3 on APUSH. The last 2years commuting there in person was an unparalleled experience no other Academy could provide. Hallelujah Ms. Oh and Frank!

I am a senior applying this year. Epiphany is providing me support in my academics, college essays, extracurriculars, non profits and even psychology. I think I am able to accelerate this year going through college admissions with Epiphany faculty.

If you need some IT learning or catching up, I highly recommend NYC Career Centers! It's well priced, the instructors are very helpful, the location is excellent! Very conveniently located in midtown Manhattan, minutes from Grand Central and Penn Station! Also you can retake the class for free within a year. The office staff (TY to JT!) is also very helpful! Overall - Five stars!!!

My daughter loves it here at Pace University
She's in her freshman year and loves living in her dorm with her roommate.
My daughter is getting a top notch education and I'm happy to say Pace keeps her pretty busy with her full time classes.
My daughter is majoring in Advertising and Marketing and minoring in financing her dream is to own her own business and be her own boss from book keeping her business experience as well as to do own advertising and marketing her self and her product/ business.
I feel being my daughter's parent that Pace University is well worth every penny it costs to send your child here.
Now it is very expensive but if you compare the price of college to any other college and averages out to be the same.
I hope my post is helpful it's the picture of my daughter in her dorm room on pace University campus in NYC Manhattan ‼️

The best experience of high school life. Significant amount of my leadership experience came from here.

Best academy ever

Can alumni's gain access to the gym facilities again after the school restricted access from a few years ago? Who can we speak/write to for possible change in policy?

One of my friend ask my introduce Language school to her , so I highly recommend this school because I was here 2017-2019 , nothing complain! When i finish program transfer to graduate school, whole process was smooth and efficient , director Kenny and teacher Nicolas helps me a lot, still so grateful for all they did to me i even get recommendation letter . English improved a lot , teacher really have patient and class was so much fun. When I read those negative review, I quite doubt who wrote those mean comments, maybe is some competitors , another thing I have to mention is school manage office and reception staff speak English with accent, I don’t think is a problem, all English teacher is native speaker, I have to be voice for justice .

I’m have been student this school today was my last day. I try to transfer another college. I attended class online but miss Nelly said (0) attendees at class. If Not do not attend class 1 year why don’t you report immigration office because she is liar she doesn’t wants to give me my transfer to another school. We are not students this school We are customer for global academy. Highly NOT recommend pls nobody go to this school….nasty and rude management. This school shouldn’t open because it’s not school . They are doing business !!!!!!

One of the best Business schools & completely justifies its ranking as one of the best finance schools on the eastern part of USA

A colleague of mine referred me to to REEDC for the p&c license . I was opportune to take the Property and Casualty License class led by Sara DaSilva Fuentes. She exceeded my expectations with her tutoring and professional skills. Sara was there to answer questions and breakdown the coverages bits and bits. I am glad I had her as my tutor and was able to pass the exam on my first try. Thanks Sara.

Loyola is terrible. The kids dont care about eachother and when they “do” its just for personal gain. If you live out of the UES or even new york city you will not enjoy it.

The best school! The teachers are always friendly, patient and ready to help.
The guys are students in groups of different ages - from young students to mature people, however, the atmosphere of the classes is relaxed, we spend time very productively in communication, topics are studied playfully. I recommend it to everyone who wants not to lose their level and acquire speaking skills. Grammar is given in detail, there are many lessons for acquiring vocabulary. Objectively, this school has no equal in quality and positive! For everyone who has an intermediate level and above, I recommend classes in the form of a subscription. Super, thanks to my beloved school and bright people in it!

Great business school.

I love this school they gave me a chance on an amazing education

Had a great experience during my time as a student at this wonderful place. I graduated in 2012. Wonderful professors, staff and coaches when I played various sports. My experiences here definitely shaped my future and where I am today. I am truly grateful for being a part of this community! I highly recommend for anyone entering high school who is looking for a Jesuit and well rounded secondary education!

The teacher who teaches most of the classes is extremely boring. More than boring, annoying. He randomly raises his voice to stress words that aren't any more relevant than others in the sentence, or if they are not relevant, he's definitely exaggerating their importance.
EDIT: Although he wasn't the best teacher, he had some really great examples of real-life situations and he did make it a point to go through the most important material. A few of his stories were borderline shady though.
Their schedule makes it difficult to finish in a short period of time because there is no option to do online courses if you miss one. I had already planned to visit family in the middle of my time taking the course and would have greatly appreciated the option to continue online during my 2.5 weeks away.
So, far two teachers were really great but I've only had them for 2 out of 11 classes.
I guess the advantage of the place is that they have final exams every week and you can ask questions any time. The location is good too.
The practice exam helped a lot and I passed the course.

Took the Word and Excel basics as a refresher. The teachers covered the key features well. I like that you can do a free retake if needed. So much is covered that it acts to further reinforce the learning. A thoughtful addition is the water, coffee and bagels free to each student.

This place is great the instructors are very well informed and have the students best interest in sharing information. You learn a lot not only for the test but tips and tricks on how to be a successful agent. The deal is great you definitely get a bang for your buck. There is great flexibility like a weekend schedule and evening hours for those whom work. Small room but the quality of education definitely worth it. Cynthia Ramirez is one of the instructors and she is amazing.

Honestly probably one of if not the best Jesuit/Catholic high schools in New York. Also coed which is unique.

Beautifully renovated facility next to Lincoln Center with small 8 acre campus and nearby garages that validate parking.

The professors & staff are extremely professional. The staff was there to assist with every question I had. The school offered flexible morning, afternoon and night class. They also offer examp prepration & career placement. At the start of some of the classes, brokers come out to introduce their firms. This allows you to know what to look for when looking for a sponsoring broker.

Good good

They really care about your kid's academy. I love them!

This is a good school. However, the quality is almost identical to the CUNY school I attended before coming here that costed significantly less. Additionally, the lack of diversity (granted, because of how this is a private school) is also lacking. I am happy to be graduating from here from a grant through the NYC Department of Education for free, and in all I enjoyed my experience here.

Michael Green was a great instructor! I took the introductory course in Excel 1 as I was unfamiliar with many of the features. Michael taught at a perfect pace and I learned a ton! Highly recommended for newbies and more advanced Excel users!!

The Microsoft Excel Level 1 Course was very valuable. The instructor, Mike, was very patient and easy to learn from. He took time to walk through each step and made sure the entire class understood before moving on. I'd recommend Mike and The Career Center to others looking to further their knowledge in Excel.

Mke Green was an absolutely wonderful teacher who is obviously an expert in both Microsoft word and excel. He was able to explain difficult concepts in an understandable manner and gave me a real confidence boost in only a day's worth of teaching instruction. I recommend Mr. Green to any pupil who wants to learn either complicated or simple Microsoft concepts quickly and in a relaxed atmosphere.

I'm an alumna. I think of gaining acceptance into Stuy as one of my most significant achievements. The standards and academic competition are such as to bring out the best in us. The result of our time in Stuy is the finest preparation for college achievement and, for that matter, for highest caliber life achievement. You are inspired and personally challenged, life long, to complete whatever projects you start with impeccable greater-than-expected end results. Congrats to students and faculty.

Stay away! They have deficits in their current administration including their insurance curriculum. They are not following state-mandated hours and academic protocol. In addition, the instructor must have a comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter. Reading from a text without a constructive board outline and proper academic delivery is a failure! In addition, the school is currently under state review by the Dept of Financial Services. Please consider my argument. The current administration is failing to comply with the legal protocol and academic standards mandated by the state. The owners need to eradicate the flaws in their current venue. Consider another school for insurance education. Kaplan, Poohs, or online school! Don't waste your time or money. Nevertheless, this seems to be a systemic problem throughout the whole country. A failure to establish good academic standards and quality education. Being politically correct is not the solution for academic deficits. They have inferior administration and insurance program. Consider my argument. Don't be scammed by their unscrupulous sales staff. They have no knowledge academic standards or state curriculum protocol. They're good salesmen! Do your research!

I took MS Access level 1&2 classes there. Classes last a day rom 9-5. I had Peter as my instructor for both of my classes. He is very good and knowledgeable. Other than just teaching things right off the book he expands and extends his examples to some very practical day to day business problems and solutions to them. The instructor did set the teaching pace based on our needs and was willing to stop for any questions in between in order to keep everyone on track. Hands-on experience is a huge plus. It helps you strengthen your memory. The choice of classroom size varies depending on how many people are enrolled in that class. Because of its location, it's very easy to get to and there are many lunch choices.

The only reason ppl go here and are willing to grossly pay for an education is the location.
I went to school here and will say it is far overpriced for the education you are given. Some staff are great and really care about the education they are providing. Others just read off a powerpoint and have no interest except for a paycheck. Career services ask if you want to be reached out to and say they will help but its not in their interest. At the NYC campus the administrative and financial aid staff are blatantly rude

Best university in downtown..!! Closed to all tourist attractions.. didn't studied here but many friends and cousins did studied there and lived in campus as well.
Good and decent environment throughout the area..!!

This place is where I learned the most from the amazing teachers, about myself and about where I want to head in life. There are drugs and alcohol in all high schools it is part of being a teenager. The school doesn't not condone it. The school gave scholarships to many people that I know, so it is not all about money. It is a small school and they have high expectations for the students that they accept. Although good grades are important they look for well rounded individuals who fit into the Loyola family. The Loyola family is supportive and close knit. Who I am 20 years later is possible because of my Loyola education.

I've been studying in this school for a while, the best language school in the region. Unlike other schools, the directors of the school are very professional and willing to help. No matter you are a beginner level or advanced level student, you can find the right course here. Most importantly, the teachers are very high-level, they all have master's degree and good teaching experience. Usually we have small classes so teachers can help every student and make sure we understand every knowledge point. I've made big progress in GlobalESL academy, the intensive program helps me a lot, not only reading and writing ability but also oral speaking skills. They teach me how to use English effectively and authentically like a native speaker. It is the best choice if u REALLY want to learn English. The school is a cozy place, people are nice and friendly here, also the area has some best Asian food in NYC, it is a big plus for me!

Just finished taking my classes and it was a great experience. Friendly staff, knowledgeable teachers and flexible schedule. I also took the REO bus tour and that was one of the best classes i have ever taken. This school ROCKS

Stuyvesant High School class of '79. The years I spent there were really amazing, and seem to get more so with each passing year. If you are a motivated student, there is no limit to what you can achieve here. A middle of the road student can get a great education - middle of the road for Stuyvesant is pretty much at the top of the class for most the schools. If you can get in, take advantage of it.

The worst and fraudulent school ever.

You rejected a student who is determined, dedicated, and an excellent student. He picked this school to make a difference but you guys just like the same things. Loyola and Xavier don't care about the student having the grade point average just how much money they make. Also if you don't offer scholarships why you telling people you do. Anyway screw this school and the relative I'm talking about will be successful without you or your school. Have a good day.

Affordable and excellent service!

It's really a good language school for English learners. The teachers in this institution are very patient to every single student, even though you are not good at English. They are so kind that teaching everything about how to improve your English language. The director is very nice, she could help student and advise them for good way to enhance English language. It was a good experience for me to study English in this school !

I love this school. I like the way they teach, especially because the teachers are young and the teachers are easy to understand. The director she is so friendly and cares a lot about the students. I have gone to a couple other English schools before but I never liked it and I wasn't comfortable. But here it's very nice and welcoming.

Professors are engaging and tie coursework into real-world experience. The campus is located in the exceedingly accessible Lincoln Square area.

Challenging, intense and completely worth it. Take it from someone who went there. Just try your best while you're there and don't stress. You'll be surrounded by a ton of smart people so make to most of it and contribute; there are plenty of things to do there. Trust me... get involved, stay for things after school, and take challenging classes (don't take the bare min, even though that's more than other schools). Do that and college will be a breeze.

I’d tried several ESL schools before started classes at Global ESL Academy. Most of them were either much more expensive or of much lower quality. Global ESL Academy gave me a lot of great experience and knowledge. There is a small number of students per class and a great student-teacher ratio. Most of the teachers are good and knowledgeable. I practiced and improved my English skills here and made new friends. For those who are looking for serious ESL school is the best option. Thank you very much my great school!

My English has improved a lot since I joined. Really amazing environment to study, friendly atmosphere and the administration is so helpful. They give you advice and all the information that you need. Everyone is very professional including the faculty. They really work hard to improve your English, grammar, vocabulary, presentation skills, reading & writing skills. One of the best Academies in NY, each student gets the full attention & given a chance to express. Also, the courses are less expensive than so many other places but yet up to the mark.

I wish to acknowledge the WOW quality service exhibited by Steven over a two-day process. I was on my way to register for the Real Estate license course in Queens. I have received a discount from Amazon promotional to attend this class. Steven in a very professional manner took my demographic information, and recommended that I allowed him to work on my confirmation number. Steven provided his email address and the information pertaining to the Amazon promotional was sent. I called Steven twenty-four hours later and was informed that I am ready to begin classes. WOW! He provided a follow-up email to my account. I recognize going above and beyond the description of one's position. I am thankful to Steven for his efforts. He has contributed to my motivation to make this educational opportunity so successful. If all the Real Estate Education Center staff are a reflection of Steven, then I am honored to partake in your educational program. Thank you,
Robert

the worst school ever. Run away from it. They care just about money. If you made this mistake and unrolled to it. Keep all receipts and all the papers that they give you as a proof of your payments and presents. Cause at the end of the class they can call you and say that you didn't pay them some amount of money.
Please, make sure to keep all the letters about dates and exams. It didn't help me though. I got practice cancelled and wasn't informed. The group was waiting for an instructor but nobody showed up. After we found out that it was canceled. And second time, the exam date was cancelled. I got informed about that the day before the exam.
Yeah, and the teacher wasn't professional at all. She was a good person, but she didn't know how to teach. And the school said :"You have books, you know how to read".
So, listen to my experience. If you don't wanna be called phone-abuser or troublemaker by trying to set up for yourself, don't go to this school.

I attended their Excel v2010 classes levels 2 & 3. Each class was one day and taught by two different instructors. Both instructors knew the product inside and out. They started both classes by asking the students how they intended to use the product and tailored the class accordingly. They used the curriculum as a guide but also taught their own real world professional experience to meet the students needs. They answered every question and made sure you understood each feature and formula.
I have attended classes at other training facilities and this was by far my best experience. I didn't feel like I was overpaying for material I would never use, or waste time in a class of 25 people. I would highly recommend Career Center. You get what you need, without paying high prices.

This review is for the Appraisal courses. I'm here typing so you wouldn't have to experience what I am going through with something that suppose to be positive and pleasant . - DO NOT sign up with them until you make sure what happened to me won't happen to you. ( I wrote the details on yelp)
Total 6 courses, I paid in full fro $2000 on December 2013.
Attended the first course two weeks ago, it was the worst learning experience I had in my whole life ... after the school failed to changed the instructor as they promised, I decided to cancel the rest of courses but was told that I wouldn't get a refund because I paid in full and got a $100 discount from the total $2100. LOL
you might want to think it again before you sign up with them. If you do decide to sign up with them, ask for a refund policy and read it closely first.
Since this is a on-going situation, I will update.

The people at Stuyvesant are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Yes, they give a lot of homework. However, the homework is one thing that brings the students together. The teachers love what they do, and they're really interesting. There are so many clubs!

Possibly the best high school in all of New York. The teachers are amazing, but that's not what makes it magical. This school has over 150 clubs, so there is something for everyone. Our robotics team makes it to championships almost every year. Our hallways are lined with trophies from the robotics, sciolimpiad, speach and debate, and other teams. Actually, we are running out of space for our trophies.

Stuyvesant High School has been an amazing and life-changing experience! The teachers there are friendly and try to help students in every way possible. In addition, there are over 100 clubs for students to join and actively participate in, ranging from Key Club, Rave, Robotics, and even Mah Jong! The culture at Stuyvesant is truly wonderful and anyone can fit right in once you attend this school.

It's a rather good school, but it isn't for everyone. The thing is that it is rather competitive, but for me it's not too bad. The thing that takes the cake for me is the robotics team. Too much fun has been had on the team, it's great.

After a quiet but busy summer, it is awesome welcoming our new and returning students through the doors of Loyola. The air is alive with enthusiastic chatter and updates about the past summer and the year ahead. Orientation for all began with prayerful best wishes and a promise to guide and nurture students to be their best selves. Students and faculty are genuinely looking forward to working together to make this a great year for all. May the year ahead be the best ever!

I am currently going to their grammar school around the block and its amazing it serves grades K-8. I am looking at high schools right now and Loyola is my top choice and no there are no drugs or acohol. I know because I know because I know about half of the freshman class.

If your child is lucky enough to get in - send them. It's a great location and the education is top-notch. I got in, but didn't end up going. I stayed at Trinity - great education, but a huge price tag for my parents.
